this Monday good morning. Last night, just after eight o'clock,
we had news of a hit and run boating incident
with a ferry in Clearwater.

The collision happened near Clearwater's Memorial Causeway. Bridge. Authority say
the boat fled the scene and the crash has been
declared a mass casualty incident. But for forty people were
aboard the ferry at the time. Public Information officer with
the City of Clearwater, Rob Shaw says the ferry made
its way to land following the collision.

The boat came to rest on a sandbar, so some
of those who weren't injured were able to walk ashore,
but we had to The firefighters had to go into
the water and get and help some people. They're also
good Samaritans who are picking up people and taking them
in their boats.

legislative session and the state Senate and House still at
odds over budgeting. One of the focal points the best

a story from three years ago. It's not. It's a
new challenge now. According to the lawsuit filed by Protect
the Constitution, LLC, the Ciminal Compact agreed to by Governor
de Santis and a similar tribe enabling sports betting was

of changes in gaming in the hands of voters. Lawsuit
seeks an injunction against the similar tribe sports betting app
and forced the issue to be brought to voters next year.
