Condo reforms still being debated as the Florida legislative session
heading towards overtime yet again, and as we are looking
at condo reforms trying to make things cheaper again because
of requirements put in place after the collapse of Champlain
Towers South and SERF Site, came a reminder about why
those restrictions were put in place and those requirements in

the first place. This out of Clearwater Beach story we
heard a couple of days ago. More detail now coming
out of Tanya Jay Powers with the report.

Officials say the evacuation was ordered out of an abundance
of caution, but people are not being allowed back into
their homes until engineers say it's safe. Clearwater fire and
police went door to door on Tuesday telling people to
leave their telf story condo building. David Zesman and his
two kids were among them. Oh shocks because it's not
a neglected building, it's a very well managed building. Clearwater

Fire Chief to Von Graham says construction workers discovered the
crack and a support column in the building's parking garage.

made during the FBI's nationwide Operation Restore Justice sting operation
