Speaker 1 (00:21):

this happen?
Speaker 2 (00:28):
Fox's Grnal Scott.
Speaker 3 (00:29):
Ryan Ruth and his public defender were in a Fort Pierce,
Florida courtroom seeking to get two gun possession charges thrown out,
citing Second Amendment rights. A prosecutor argued that one of
the counts, possession of a gun with an obliterated serial number,
implies the weapon would not be used for a lawful purpose.
Ruth and his lawyer are also hoping to have testimony
(00:52):
of a witness who claims to have seen Ruth running
from the scene, declared unreliable for not having a clear
view of the fleeings suspect.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
How can you say I was I going to use
that gun for a lawful purpose?
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Come on, yeah, I was just had a nice scope
on it, so I was just kind of getting a
good view of the president. I mean, yeah, the gun itself,
the ammunition, everything else, me fleeing the scene.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
I I lawful purpose, shoal, it's all was.
Speaker 4 (01:21):
Yeah, these it should be open and shut, right, some
of these defensive Again, I there's there's a need for
good defense attorneys because if you were ever wrongfully charged
to something, you would certainly want great representation.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
But I do believe at a certain level that a
lot of these people just lack of conscience because you
would have to you would have to argue some of
the nonsense they do. Uh So, as we take a
look at newsrom arounder State, the US Small Business Administration,
they are offering economic injury disaster loans for small businesses
negatively impacted by the spring strouts throughout Florida. Loans for
(01:58):
up to two million dollars maybe obtained to cover most
operational expenses, including existing debt obligations, which I think is
a particularly big deal because here are the terms. The
loans come with a four percent interest rate for businesses
and a three point six percent rate for nonprofits, with
terms of up to thirty years available. So let's say,
for example, you might be able to obtain one of
(02:20):
these loans in business, if you have outstanding debt at
higher than a four percent interest rate and terms that
aren't as good, well shoot, it'd be great just getting
one of these and going ahead and paying off your
existing debt obligations and having better terms. National Hurricane Center
they have begun operational ALEX for the Atlantic hurricane season.
(02:42):
Of course, it doesn't officially start, according to them, until
June first, but going back a few years ago, they
had actually floorded with bumping it up to May fifteenth,
and kind of the go between was, well, we'll just
start our operational ALEX on May fifteenth. So they've done that,
and the first one is out. This includes the nhc's
Tropical Weather Toscussion Discussion comes out at least four times daily,

Related continues through tomorrow at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.
It is open to the public, and today marks the
start of South Florida's rainy season. As Joel referenced, it
runs from May fifteenth through October fifteenth. To put it
in perspective, the five months of rainy season account for
(03:25):
approximately seventy percent of South Florida's annual rainfall. Today, I'll
be sunny and hot. Highs in the upper eighties. No
rain today, a lot warmer than usual for this date.
Sunday sky is still hotter conditions for the rest of
the week. We're going see nineties. It looks like gas
price is flat on Wednesday after increases to start the wait.
The average price for regular unleaded day y three twelve
