And yesterday was the last day and the end of
an era at Disney.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
It's time to stop the music. It's time to shut
the lights as Disney ends The Muppet Show tonight, Walt
Disney World is closing the long running Muppet Vision three
D attraction at Disney Hollywood Studios in Orlando. Opening originally
in nineteen ninety one, it allowed park visitors to physically
enter a recreation of the famed Vaultvillian Theater from The

(00:47):
Muppet Show on TV to enjoy a presentation mixing real
Muppets on screen three D film and bellowing comic insults
from Statler and Waldorf in their box seats. A version
at Disney's California That's Your Park closed in twenty fourteen.
The Orlando version will now make way for a new
attraction themed on Monsters, Inc.

Speaker 4 (01:08):
Yeah So the Muppets are not Brian actually completely leaving
Hollywood Studios at Disney and Orlando. They are actually moving
over to the rock and Roller coaster at Hollywood Studios.
Aerosmith has been there since that ride opened, but I.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Can't remember that one. I remember that Aerosmith Riley.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
Next year, Aerosmith is going to be replaced by the Muppets, right,
so that'll be interesting though. I only rode that ride once.
I was kind of forced on it by some other
people and uh yeah, never again. Zero to sixty and
like a half a second, it felt like anyway, Yeah,
So the Muppets are moving over there.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Next year, placing the Aerosmith, don't.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
I think it was a contract thing. I think the
aeros you know, Charsmith thing ended all right.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Gunderdi Santa's signed three veterans themed bills into law. The
Veteran and spouse nursing home beds lost streamlines access to
long term care for veterans and their spouses by removing
bureaucratic obstacles like certificate of needs processes. The Veterans Law
expands suicide prevention programs to include early recognition of mental
health conditions. Also directs the creation of a staywide plan

(02:11):
for adult healthcare centers dedicated to veterans. The Veterans Benefits
Assistance Law seeks to protect veterans from predatory practices while
navigating the benefits process. The law raises penalties for violators,
explicitly bans referral kickbacks, prohibits misleading guarantees, mandates that anyone
offering paid benefits must pass a high level background check.

(02:32):
Key week for the Forida legislature, which voted for a
second time to extend the legislative session as they have
yet to come to a budget agreement. Most recent extension
now takes us until June eighteenth. Amid the ongoing differences
between the House incentive or spinning levels and the best
way to handle tax cuts under a law. Under a
state law, I should say a budget must be produced

(02:53):
prior to July first, sunny and hot again today, hines
and the upper eighty is a little bit warmer than
usual for the state. The remnants last week say Hearin
dust plume still in the air, with another plume en

Speaker 4 (03:11):

Gas prices they fell a bit through the weekend and
are a little bit lower than a week ago. The
average price four regular unleaded stay wine three oh seven
in the Palm Beaches three twenty four, and it stands
just above the state average at three oh nine in
Martin and Indian River County.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
All right, let's get a look at some national headlines.
Had at least sixty people arrested during anti immigration enforcement

law enforcement along the one on one freeway after rioters
shut down both sides yesterday, the agency arresting seventeen people.
One person arrested allegedly threw a Molotov cocktail and an officer. Meanwhile,
California Governor Gavin Newsome accusing President Trump of trying to

(03:49):
manufacture a crisis in Los Angeles County. News some making
that comment on X after Trump deployed two thousand California
National Guard troops to LA, where police have now declared
the riot and unlowed full assembly.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
I guess here's a point when you think about it.
When you think of LA, do you think about illegal immigrants,
assaulting people, burning flags, burning cars in the leading stores.
It doesn't necessarily sound too out. Character doesn't really doesn't uh.

Speaker 4 (04:15):
Pope Leo, calling for open borders and an end of division,
had a Sunday Mass and Saint Peter's Square. The pontavasked
