with this horrible story out of North Florida.

Deputies in Clay County, Florida, outside Jacksonville say a fourteen
year old boy called nine to one one claiming to
have shot both his parents to death. He walked to
a church about a mile from the house before calling.
Responding deputies did find both parents dead.

It appears that there was some sort of domestic argument
last night between Trevor Lee and his parents, and that
this shooting culminated from that argument.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Clay County Sheriff Michelle Cook says the teen left the
gun at the house and deputies took him into custody quickly.
They're still looking into who owned the firearm and how
the boy got a hold of it. Wow, Fox, is
Evan Brown there all right? So and happier news.

The popular My Safe Florida Home program has reopen for applications.
Joel was mentioning this yesterday priority placed on grants. I
want to get into this a little bit because it
is so much different than it used to be the
priority is on grants for older residents and low and
moderate income homeowners. So just to kind of go through
this real quickly, the four priority groups those sixty and

older with household incomes at or below eighty percent of
the median income level of their home county. If you're
in that group, you get top Priority Group two for
a homeowner of any age with median income at eighty
percent or below their home counties median income. Through three
for those sixty and older with household income below one

hundred and twenty percent of their median home county income,
with grow four applying to those of any age at
one hundred and twenty percent or below. I know that's
kind of a lot to take in just real quick
right there. This we'll be up with all my stories

eighty million dollars is available for grants for home hardening

measures as part of this round. A Stuart man has
been arrested by Stuart PD for a fraudulent check cash
scheme that allegedly defrauded retirees out of five hundred thousand dollars.
The investigation dates back to last September when a fake
check linked to a health savings account for a retired
United Airlines pilot was found to have been bogus. The suspect,

Henry Tyrone Harris Junior, has been charged with grand theft
and uttering a forged instrument. Today day four the scheduled
eight day closure of Northlake Boulevard at B Line Highway
for CSX railroad crossing and repairs. Just reminder the delays
of an hour or more are possible, with detours of
twenty one and thirty four miles serving as the only
options for navigating around the closure. Sunny, hot, humid again

today hints in the low nineties, warm of the usual
for the state, and chance of afternoon thunderstorms again. Morrisahar
and dusty is making its way through the Caribbean today,
pretty thick boom through the Caribbean. The thickest part is
going to stay south of Florida. It looks like there's
another bloom tracking across the Atlantic. And related to all this,
you don't have any tropical activity where the dust is,

Dexter continuing to track away from the US towards the
northern mid Atlantic. You have a disturbance off the coast
of Africa fifty percent chance of development later in the week,
and disturbance off the southeast US coastline thirty percent chance
of development. That system is the one that is going
to bring weather somewhere. It will probably move on shore

at some point. It won't be strong no matter what
when it does, but it will be a weather event
for those in the crosshairs. Gas price is surged yesterday
by fourteen cents per gallon average price four regular on
leaded state y three eight in the Palm Beaches three nineteen,

morning in the Indian River County at three to eleven
