Minimum wage in Florida will be rising to fourteen dollars
an hour for non tipped workers starting Tuesday. The race
comes from a state law aimed at eventually bringing the
wage up to fifteen an hour. Across the state, the
hourly pay rate has been at thirteen dollars. Tipped workers
such as restaurant servers, we'll also see an extra dollar
an hour, with their rate rising to ten ninety eight.

As I touched on in my takeaways on Friday, These
Day was in burse thirty million dollars from the federal
government for its assistance and the detention and deportation of
approximately six thousand illegal aliens during the first five months
of the year. Over the weekend, it was announced in

hurricanes that are related to is tracking the two systems

that is south of Bermuda. It's expected to curve around
the island towards the northern mid Atlantic, which is like
the best thing that could happen, and then Tropical Storm
Amelda will continue north through the Bahamas, slowly gaining strength,
before tracking east towards Bermuda as a hurricane. Right now

looks like a Bermuda is going to be in the
cross heres of that. All US advisories have been dropped
for the storm. The marine advisories remain in place, with
rip currents and rough serve throughout the day. Today. Gas
prices continue to fall through the weekend. They're thirteen cents
lower than a week ago. The average price four regular
unleaded state wide two ninety seven, and the Palm Beach

is three twelve this morning in Martin, A little bit
weird here. Prices have come down generally, but they actually
hired today than they were on Friday, and Martin at
