at news around the state that impacts you, Governordie's Antas
has named Vero Beaches Robert Stone to serve as judge
on the nineteenth Judicial Circuit Court, which oversees Martin, Saint Lucy,
Indian River, Okechobee Counties. An Indian River State College and

Barrie University graduate. Stone has served as the Assistant State
Attorney for the nineteenth Judicial Circuit since twenty nineteen. The
campaign in combat Florida's first bear hunt by conservations that
are opposed to the hunt, It's proven to be at
least somewhat successful. As of Thursday, one hundred and forty
eight of the one hundred and seventy two bear hunting
permitts have been awarded through the paid lottery system. They

have been claimed, with activists publicly touting that they have
obtained thirty nine of those permits. Each permit allows for
one bear to be killed, so in theory, at least
thirty nine will not as a result of this campaign
of THEIRS activists. We're promoting this around the country. The

saying well, maybe it becomes a hurricane late today. Well
it's going to be interesting because the Saharan does and
this is the thickest point I've seen in over a month.

It is rapidly catching up to where Jerry is and
you could have a situation where it just swallows Jerry.
So I'm curious to see what happens with this throughout
the course of the day today. It's a race if
Jerry's going to make it as a hurricane potentially, as
the system is going to have to go fast to
beat the Saharan dust. Meanwhile, you've got subtropical storm Karen

that is formed in the Northern Atlantic. I don't think
it's going to bother anybody other than maybe some attempted
whalers or something. Gas prices felled three since per gallon
