Speaker 1 (00:05):
The news you need to start your day in the
Palm Beaches and the Treasure Coast. This is the Brian
Mud show Florida's unprecedented economic success. There's so many positive
things that are playing out, and the presidents talking about
this in Miami yesterday.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
The United States has the strongest economy, the strongest border,
is the strongest military, the strongest friendships, and the strongest
spirit of any nation.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
And Florida is the strongest state in that nation. Recently,
we learned Florida's economy become the fifteenth largest in the world.
This was based on data from the Florida Chamber Foundation's
latest update. Florida's GDP now exceeds one point seven trillion annually,
surpassing Spain or ranking just behind Australia. And as impressive
as it sounds for Florida's economy to equal or surpass
(00:53):
the economies of whole countries with far larger populations, that

York City, if anything, will likely accelerate the business migration
into our state, helping all of those particular categories. And
(02:00):
so the continued success of our state is a remarkable story.
It's easy to take for granted in the day to
day or even year to year now because we are
used to be number one in so many different categories.
But we take a look at what's happened over the
past five years, it is truly one of the greatest
stories economically that not just our state has seen, but
any has ever seen.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Well, and Boca's Mayor, Scott Singer, he expects an exodus
from New York and he said he's ready to welcome
any business that wants to flee the Big Apple, especially
wants those companies that pay in the one hundred thousand
dollars salary range.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
Yeah, and there you go, and there'll be some of that,
I bet
