Speaker 1 (00:04):
Welcome to the Brian Mud Show.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
It's the info you need to start your day in
the Bomb Beaches and the Treasure Coast. Yeah, sure enough.
And so take a look at the growth in autism
cases over time. So you had the big Trump administration
announcement yesterday and immediately a lot of controversy around this thing.
Speaker 1 (00:25):
Fox's Jared halperd an autism action planned by the White House.
So as there is a potential association between a city
menifeme commonly known as Thailand all during pregnancy and autism,
federal health agencies are issuing physician notices and changing labels
on the drug. President Trump was more direct, I.
Speaker 3 (00:43):
Just say it again, don't take thailand all.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
Don't take it. The President also warned against giving a
city menafine to infants and encourage parents to space out
some early childhood vaccines.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
That whole thing was you can almost see the ins
factor of the RFK and with memonas and it's like, okay,
give us so a couple things about this, A couple
things about this. Yesterday you did have the Trump administration
announce the study showing a link between the use of
a cinemenifin by pregnant women and infants may be linked
(01:20):
to a higher risk of fraudism. Now, notably, the President
focused on talent All right, well, that's even if you
are interested in adhering to what the administration is saying here,
that's not going to help you. Most of the time,
talent Al is the leading drug brand. However, they hold
only thirty five percent US market share, so effectively two
thirds at the time that people are taking the drug
(01:42):
in question, it's not under the talent Ar brand. So
know that it's a cedemenifen that is the focus here.
That is a greater than ten billion dollar market in
the United States annually. Now, the next thing about the
autism spectrum situation here. Immediately you had the medical establishment
(02:05):
that came out and derided this, and so there are
a couple very important questions that arise. The first is have.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
You actually read through this research.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
Or are you just commenting based upon your own previous dispositions. So,
in other words, is there new information here that has
not been considered? And if it hasn't, I would say
that's very irresponsible for people in the medical establishment commenting
on That's one. And so as you talk to your
doctor about these kinds of things. That's the question to ask, Okay, well,
(02:40):
have you read the research on it, and the answer
is no, I'd ask why, and then ask what else
they are not paying attention to. I would say that's
not a very good doctor. Now, the next piece of
it is, okay, if you have read through the research,
and if it is, there's not a link to seen
to minifit, what's the problem here? Because let me walk
(03:03):
you through the storyline. And the President said some of
this yesterday, but I want to really paint the picture here.
If you go back to the nineteen sixties seventies, when
you first had like a database of autism cases being studied,
only one in two thousand kids were diagnosed. Then you
had the spectrum that was first kind of put on
(03:23):
the map and broad a recognition that started in nineteen eighty.
At that point we were up to one in one
thousand kids diagnosed. By two thousand, you had the current
system for reporting that was put into place by the CDC.
It's called the Autism Developmental Disabilities Monitoring Network. Okay, so
the same process for monitoring has been there since two thousand.
(03:45):
At the point that system was put in place where
one and one hundred and fifty. Okay, so let's say
at this point that really two thousand is the best
baseline for us to go on, because before that we
didn't have as good a reporting. The spectrum has expanded
all these things. From two thousand the current reporting system.
Ten years later, we went from one in one hundred
(04:05):
and fifty kids being diagnosed to one in sixty eight.
Ten years later, twenty twenty, we went from one in
sixty eight to one in thirty six. What the heck
happened there? And most recently we have information from twenty
twenty two. Right between twenty twenty and twenty twenty two,
so just two years we went from one in thirty
six kids being diagnosed to one and thirty one kids
(04:29):
being diagnosed.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
What the heck.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
That's a big increase in two years without any meaningful
changes during those two years, unless you want to point
at COVID and maybe does wildcard there asterisk getting kids
vaccinated that kind of thing. I don't know. And so
here's the larger point, and this was something that was
mentioned during the course of the press ya yesterday. It
(04:53):
may be the case that a cenomenefit isn't a problem,
but maybe in conjunction with other things, like you know,
maybe no women other stuff they're taking, maybe there's a
reaction with it at that point that could be problematic.
Maybe with young children that are being immunized with a
bunch of different things, maybe the acinumnifin reacts with that.
So in other words, maybe the problem isn't a cenominifit
(05:14):
in itself, but rather all the other things that might
be going on medically around use of that product. And
that is where I can tell you. Empirically you can
draw a straight line between the increase and medical usage
of various different drugs, immunizations, you name it in autism,
and you can say all day long, well the spectrum
(05:35):
got bigger, and oh people are more aware. How do
you get inside of twenty two years from one in
one hundred and fifty to one and thirty one under
the same reporting system without there being more to the story.
And any doctor does want to answer that question, it's
not a credible doctor in my opinion.
Speaker 3 (05:49):
All right, Florida has a new tool meant to combat
violent extremism. Attorney General James ofth Meyer Yesterday's announced the
States launch You can do online portal for people to
share evidence of threats like asassinations. Also withth Meyer yesterday
was the Education Commissioner on Assasios Kimutsa, who found probable
cause of Clay County teacher celebrated Charlie Kirk's assassination on
(06:10):
social media and is now facing charges and a licensed suspension.
In Florida lawmakers, they are meeting in Tallahassee this week
today to explore ways to reduce or eliminate property taxes
following a push from the governor. The House Select Committee
on Property Taxes hearing proposals including a half million dollar
homestead exemption and limits on local government foreclosures.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
Those are some headlines TPUSA. It's just the beginning
