Ok, actually, it’s not your smartphone’s fault but rather the proclivity to spend more time on the porcelain facility due to the smartphone that’s to blame.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
Faith Freedom, Florida. This is the Brian mud Show. It
is and today we have an Apple event. It's one
of the bigger events in a long time. Apple is
rolling out as many new products in a single day,
or at least they're rumored to be doing so, as
we have seen in many, many years. As for what

(00:26):
you might expect, Bots is Evan Brown.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Apple is expected to present a bunch of new iPhones today.
They will all be listed as iPhone seventeen. One of
the new phones is rumored to be an exceptionally thin
smartphone labeled as iPhone Air, a brand seen before with
thin iPads and MacBooks. Other rumors are for brand new
Apple Watches, AirPods, a four K Apple TV device, and

(00:51):
an upgraded Home Pods speaker.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
Now a thing about this, You end up buying some
of those products could lead to hemorrhoids. Why you laugh, Angel,
It just seems very random. I mean, hemorrhoid turned funny,
aren't they? No, you have hemorrhoids?

Speaker 4 (01:16):
No, I'm happy for you.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
Well, if you have hemorrhoids, maybe blame your smartphone. I
mean it's not your smartphone's fault, but rather the proclivity
to spend more time on the porcelain facility when you
have a smartphone in hand. This is according to the
findings of a newly published study entitled Smartphone Use on

(01:40):
the Toilet and the Risk of hemorrhoids. So the deal
is this, there has been a rise as significant increase
in hemorrhoid issues among populations in recent years and also
with many younger people as well than used to occur.
And so we had folks that like, we need to

(02:02):
figure out what's going on here. So you get into
the study and when they took a look at what
was driving the extra bumps on your booty, well they
found two keys that led to more roids in recent years.
Spending over five minutes sitting on a toilet is linked

(02:24):
to more hemorrhoids. The reason that people are commonly spending
more time on the toilet is that, well, got that
phone in hand, does he doing something else? So the
specific thing that goes into sitting on a potty as

(02:48):
opposed to just like in a chair, the posture. The
posture leads to increasing hemorrhoidal pressure without pelvic support. So
the longer we're on the potty, the greater likelihood there
could be a hem Roydal response, researchers noted that the
five minute mark appeared to be a specifically important to
cut off. So who is it that is most likely

(03:10):
to spend over five minutes in the bathroom Those using
a smartphone, of course, So smartphone use in the bathroom
bound to have resulted in a forty six percent greater
likelihood of developing hemorrhoids. And that's due to smartphone multitaskers
being greater than five times as likely to sit on
the botty for longer than five minutes in the clip,

(03:34):
So if this sounds familiar to you, you're normal. Two
thirds of adults sixty six percent of adults regularly use
their smartphones while taking care of other business. Also, younger
adults are the most likely to spend the most time
on their phones while in the bathroom, and as a result,
are seeing the fastest rise in hem royal issues. So

(03:55):
the good news is the obvious news. It's an easily
addressable issue, as if you can bring yourself to just
you know, leave your phone outside the bat or just
I guess, leave it in your pants.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
I did some investigative journalism, Brian, Yeah, for once in
my life. The makers of the squatty potty, do promote it?
Oh really, that is being helpful against hemorrhoids. There you go,
so squatty potty to the rescue. Squatty potty. I assume
it's still sold somewhere. We had one here like fifteen

(04:32):
years ago, wasn't it. Yeah, Lori's deal, I think.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
Yeah, And somebody did get it brought one here.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
So if you just can't get rid of that phone
while you're visiting the facility, set yourself a squatty pot
Squaddy potty looks like it may work.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Might be the play, all right, all right, helpful, usefulory
peeable right there
