Speaker 3 (00:20):
Hello, can stocks and cryptocurrencies go?
Speaker 2 (00:23):
What is my virt roll of money, Joel?
Speaker 4 (00:26):
It is never let your money in emotions cross.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
Paths because we don't want to do what you don't
want to lose money, that's right, we don't. We want
to take advantage of the greatest wealth creation machine in
the history of the world, your United States stock market.
As we get started this week, see where we ended
last week.
Speaker 5 (00:43):
Stock's ending higher for the day and week as strong
jobs data ease economic slowdown fears. Employers adding one hundred
and thirty nine thousand jobs in May while the unemployment
rate held steady at four point two percent. The jobs
report highlights the continued resilience of the labor market.
Speaker 3 (00:59):
Right, so we have a lot of optimism carry straight
into the end of last week. Markets the end of
major indexes DALLAS and P five hundred and sec up
anywhere one to two percent last week and now for
the year, they're all higher, all higher, anywhere from one
to two percent. So yeah, from that jobs report to
some of the other data indicating that we still have
(01:19):
a strong and steady economy, declining inflation, resilient consumers. That's
a recipe for success. And that is what we have seen.
And I mentioned how many people would have thought two
months ago today, when we're near the peak of the
Liberation Day selloffs, that we would be only two percent
away from record him the S and P five hundred.
(01:41):
I mean, so again, this is why we don't let
money and emotions cross pass. What was I telling you
to do?
Speaker 2 (01:47):
Then?
Speaker 3 (01:48):
I very rarely ever do this because ubiquitous financial advice
is horrible. But I know markets, and so what I
tell you, what I told you is this is a historically.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
Great buy an opportunity.
Speaker 3 (02:02):
Now you see, it's been his tour comeback, and so
I didn't say that for effect, and it just you know, again,
when we take a look at where we sit, a
lot has happened. And now the question is, okay, will inflation?
Will the Fed continue to play ball? So this week
(02:27):
we have hugely important inflation data. Wednesday, we'll get the
consumer price index Thursday, the producer Price Index is your
two big inflation reports and what comes out of those,
especially with tariffs having been kind of juiced into the
system a bit to the extent that we have much
of an influence last month. Remember the Chinese tariffs have
actually been lower more recently. That'll give us a pretty
(02:51):
good idea of where we stand. And then you've got
the Federal Reserves interest rate policy decision meeting that will
come up next week. That data will weigh heavy with it,
so stand by for news. And as cryptos, Bitcoin they
still base in above one hundred thousand pretty much flat
last week. It's up twelve percent of the year. Ether
just has not performed anywhere near as well. It was
(03:13):
off three percent last week, is off twenty five percent
on the year. The bit YZTF that represents the top
ten cryptos, it was up one percent last week.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
It's off four percent year to day. Though.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
Can't provide any value analysis for cryptos because they have
no inherent value. I can, for sucks because they do
using the S and P five hundred as the benchmark.
If only fundamentals and absolutely nothing else mattered, your maximum
downside risk from where we sit right now is forty
four percent everybody freaked out, hit the cell button. Forty
four percent is what could happen. That's a little bit
(03:44):
more risk than the last week because stock prices rose
faster than fundamentals, But it is four percent less expensive
than the absolute peak of this cycle this year. Now,
if selling did come back in in vogue, do I
expect that we'd get a forty four percent dip?
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Now? Is it possible? So let's just say it happened.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
If it would, it negatively impact your daily life great,
Probably in good shape. If it would, you need a
new plan and a necessary a pro to help you
with that plan.
Speaker 4 (04:10):
All right, Good morning. Some Florida headlines warning for the
Martin County Sheriff's Office, businesses in the area avoid accepting
one hundred dollars bills because there's a fear counterfeit bills
may still be circulating. After the arrest of four people
for what a Sheriff's pokesperson called one of the craziest
counterfeit money spending sprees they've ever seen. They went door
to door or store to store, rather distributing a significant
(04:31):
amount of the counterfeit money. Tallery Beach Police announcing it's
new interim chief. He has assistant Chief Darryl Hunter. He'll
step in after Police Chief Russ Major steps down next
week after twenty nine years with the agency. Stanley Cup
Final Tide as the series shifts to Sunrise and defending
Cup champion Panthers coming off a doublet victory to even
(04:51):
the series of one game a peace Florida. We'll be
looking to defend Home Ice when it hosts the oilers
for Game three to night buck drops at eight pm.
And if you see a wild turkey, Florida Fish and
Wildlife wants to know about it, asking Florida residents to
report sightings of wild turkeys between now and August thirty first.
It's part of a multi state initiative.
