Speaker 1 (00:04):
Your new day starts with the Brian Mud Show, the
news you need to start your morning in the Palm
Beaches and the Treasure Coast.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
As we take a look at my weekly edition of Hello,
can stocks and Cryptocurrencies go?

Speaker 1 (00:18):
My first role money is.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Never let your money in emotions cross paths.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Because we want you to have more of it, not less.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
But if you get involved in doing something like jumping
in and out trying to time investments markets, you're probably
going to end up with less of it. Over ninety
percent of the time, people do worse when they do
try to trade around time markets things like that than
if they just left their money alone where they invested
it in the first place. It gives you an idea
of how often we make mistakes, so I don't want
you making those mistakes. I want you to be able

(00:45):
to take advantage of the greatest wealth creation machine in
the history of the world, which is your United States
Stock market. On that note, as we get started for November,
Man where we ended October pretty impressive, Fox's Hillary Barski.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
The major averages ending the week and month with solid gains,
the DALL and NASDA posting their longest streaks of monthly
gains since January of twenty and eighteen.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Look at that, a full month of a partial government shutdown,
best winning streak for stocks in seven years.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
So it's almost like the market approves of what is it, thirty.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Five thirty four percent of the federal government being offline.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Yeah, almost like the market likes that.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Average person still has not felt anything associated with the
partial government shutdown. Stock market best performance in seven years. Again,
and do not conflate, because it is unconscionable that essential
workers have been going to work every single day during
this thing are not getting paid because Democrats refuse to

(01:47):
actually pay them for doing the job that they're doing.
So these two things do exist simultaneously. It is unconsciable
that people working are not getting paid. At the same time,
it is very clear that we can do with at
least thirty four percent less federal government.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
So there's that.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
But anyway, as we take a look at the performance
of the markets, Dallas and P five hundred NAZAC all
higher last week, you have year today gains anywhere twelve
to twenty three percent now based upon your index of choice.
And yes, as we are in the thirty fourth day
of the partial shutdown. We do look like we're poised
to probably exceed the record thirty five day shutdown from

(02:27):
twenty nineteen. And yeah, you wouldn't notice it based on
the performance of the markets. You take a look at
the what did happen last week that was helpful, the
Federal Reserve cutting interest rates, corporate earnings that continue to
come in stronger than expected. President Trump's success in Asia
and specifically the trade deal in China that helped improve
US commerce and at the same time resulted at a

(02:49):
lower tariff rate by Trump that will be charged to China.
As for our earnings, through Friday, Friday, sixty four percent
of companies had reported and they were strong average and
increase in earning so far this earning season ten point
seven percent. That's almost three points higher than what have
been anticipated coming into it. Now this week, aside from earnings,

(03:11):
the shutdown and related stuff, this week, the ADP and
BLS jobs numbers, the government jobs report, that kind of stuff.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Will be in focus.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
As for cryptos, taking a look at the situation, there
was not as good last week. You had anywhere flat
to five percent declines in cryptos basedupon your token of
choice year Today gains anywhere fifteen to nineteen percent now
can provide any value analysis for cryptos because they have
no inherent value.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Can for stocks because they do.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Using the S and P five hundred as the benchmarket
for only fundamentals and nothing else mattered, your maximum downside
of risk from here is forty nine percent. That is
pretty much aligned with a week ago because prices improved
a little bit presided fundamentals. That said, the market is
still as expensive as it's been in this cycle. It's
a very pricey market on a historical comparative basis. That said,

(04:06):
do I think even if we got a correction, we're
going to get to forty nine percent sell off?

Speaker 4 (04:09):
No?

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Is it possible in theory. So let's just say it
happened to over the short term. If it wouldn't negatively
impact you in the day to day, great, you're probably
in good shape. If it would, time for a new
plan if necessary, a pro that can help you with one.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
All right, Some Florida headlines local property owners should receive
their tax bills soon if you haven't already. Palmage County
tax collector An Gannon, sent out nearly six hundred and
twenty one thousand property tax bills to property owners across
the county. Late last week, about six point two billion
dollars expected to be collected this year. DHS taking a
Fort Myers man into custody for allegedly making online threats

(04:43):
against ICE officers. Suspect identified as Joseph Giancola, using an
online pseudonym and calling ICE officers Nazis, writing in one
threat they should be shot down like rabid dogs. Department
of Homeland Securities ISS threats against ICE officers are up
eight thousand percent. Assaults against the I'm a thousand percent
