Speaker 2 (00:21):
Joel Malkin with you Happy Thursday. How much has Doze
saved you? I mean, Joel saved so much in doging
that he's just like.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
I'm giving it all to the warm and fluffies.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
You're donating your your dough savings to.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
Uh, only the ones that deserve it.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
Those are which kind of migrants? Now, which ones deserve it?
Speaker 3 (00:43):
The warm and the fluffy ones. The warmer and the
fluffy er that they are, the more they deserve my
Doge savings.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
So the ones that walked across the border and said
to a sad.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
I see this item. Yeah, those guys got.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
It, okay, So oural lives. There have been three certainties
death taxes, ever growing federal government collecting more of them
until day one of Doge. Doge been going in the
other direction, of course, led by Elon Musk. The big
news this week has been that Musk is going to
be taking the backseat going forward, he's going to dramatically
(01:17):
reduce his time with DOGE. President Trump had this to
say about that everything.
Speaker 4 (01:22):
He does is good, but they took it out on Tesler,
and I just thought it was so unfair because he's
trying to help the country, but he has helped the country.
I also want him to make sure that he's going
to be in great shape, and I know he is.
I mean, he's going to be He's going to do great.
He loves the country. He didn't need to do this,
he did it.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
He certainly did not need this, but he has done it,
and it's made a difference. Let's talk about what DOGE
has done. As of today, total dog savings is up
to one hundred and sixty billion dollars across twenty two
impacted federal government agencies. DOGE has now eliminated eighteen thousand,
seven hundred and ninety six initiatives. The progress towards the
(02:03):
minimum goal of five hundred billion dollars in savings thirty
two percent. You do wonder if we get there now,
what things will look like going forward with the elon
not dozing all that often. Nevertheless, if you take a
look at these savings per federal taxpayer. What has Doze
actually saved you. We're up to nearly one thousand dollars that, Joel,
(02:27):
you could donate to the warm and fuffies.
Speaker 3 (02:28):
That's exciting.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
The savings per federal taxpayer nine hundred and ninety three
dollars and seventy nine cents. That's your annualized savings from
Doze so far. And people want to complain. I mean,
it's absurd. On its face. Doze has averaged one point
seven billion dollars in savings per day since it's inception
in January twentyeth.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
All right, let's get a look at some Florida headlines
and we'll start here at home. Palm Beach County School
Board members did vote last night to remove DEI policies
US Department of that threatening to withhold federal funding from
school districts that don't comply. For Palm Beach schools, that
would be three hundred million dollars. The one board member
to vote no Edwin Ferguson, who dared other members to
call the federal government's bluff in his words, and all
(03:12):
the board voted to amend ten policies tied to diversity
equity and inclusion. A ninety day public hearing follows period
follows before another vote to make these changes permanent. The
state heading out millions for workforce training and infrastructure improvements.
Governor de Santis yesterday announcing the money from the Florida
Job Growth Grant Fund at Indian River State College, which
(03:33):
gets four million out of that money. And the NFL
draftkicks off tonight in Green Bay. Miami Dolphins hold the
thirteenth overall pick tonight. A University of Miami quarterback expected
to be drafted first overall. Tennessee Titans believed to be
drafting cam Ward and those are your Florida headlines.
