Speaker 1 (00:04):
Hey, thanks for listening, and welcome back to the Brian
Mud Show.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Time now for today's top three takeaways.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Takeaways for you on this Monday are about illegal aliens
fleeing Florida, come these odds of time, the Clink, among
other things, big federal feelings that are going on this week.
But before we dive into all that, just the horrific
assassination culture that continues to play out. Saturday, North Carolina,
you have a man who opens up on restaurant patrons. Yesterday,

(00:37):
this horrific scene went down Fox Is Brian Yennis.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
A man rammed his vehicle into the front doors of
the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints in
Grand Blanc, Michigan. The forty year old man then got
out of his vehicle and began shooting.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
The shooter was shot and.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
Killed by two local police officers who engaged in a
heroic firefight. Police say the shooter deliberately set the church
on fire, blaze that engulfed the entire church tragically. Police
believe multiple victims died in that fire.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Yeah, at this point we know that there are four victims,
five dead, including the shooter and arsonists still trying to
put the pieces together, both the attacker on Saturday and
this guy. This guy we know is forty, who's a
veteran Iraqi War veteran, and somebody who had an autistic kid.

(01:30):
So we'll see how things got. It's just the assassination culture.
We've talked about, the concerns associated with it. How many
people seemingly think it's okay.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
I've mentioned.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
The concern is how many are willing to act on
it given the pervasiveness of the acceptance of it. So
we'll deal with that as we learn more. Meanwhile, my
top takeaway today fleeing Florida. Now in Friday's Top three Takeaways,
I mentioned this. The Department of Homeland Security is confirmed
a record number of deportations had been taking place. According

(02:04):
to DHS, as of this week, over two million illegal
aliens had deported this year, most of them my choice.
According to the fact sheet, four hundred thousand formal deportations
had taken place, while one point six million self deportations
had taken place. And additionally, we'd had four consecutive months
of zero illegal immigrants gaining access to the country and

(02:25):
a ninety seven percent reduction and attempted border crossings. To
put this in another context, through the first eight months
of the Trump administration's policies, nearly as many illegal immigrants
had left this country as had gained access to it
through Biden's open border policies during his last year in office,
and the net illegal immigration number under the Trump administration

(02:48):
had equaled eight thousand fewer illegal aliens per day.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
In this country.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Okay, So that was instructive not only in painting the
picture about the effectiveness of the Trump administration immigration policy,
but also and especially Heamland Security Secretary Christy Nomes ongoing
self deportation plan the overall effectiveness of it. You know,
you have the irregular marketing campaign, her credits like to

(03:15):
make fun of her for it. It's working extremely well.
On Friday, we received an idea of the deportation picture
and what that has looked like inside of the state
of Florida. So, according to US Border Patrol, approximately six
thousand illegal aliens had been detained for deportation within Florida

(03:35):
during the first five months of the administration. This was
announced along with by the way, the state of Florida
being reimbursed thirty million dollars by DHS for what has
been facilitated by the state through those five months. Huh
reimbursement from the Feds. But I thought there might be

(03:57):
something to all those news stories by the state people
and the local people are like, look how much it's
costing the state and there's no guarantee of reimbursement.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
How many of those stories that we have, joiell too
many to count?

Speaker 1 (04:11):
How many stories have you counted since Friday when the
Trump administration reimbursed.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
The State of Florida beside the ones that we have
yes done.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Yeah, I literally have not gone across it other than
what you and I have reported today.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
Funny how that works, isn't it? All the stories about.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
Oh, look at how much it costs the alligator alcatraze, oh.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Uh huh, And the answer is nothing for the State
of Florida. Back to you, you, what we leave now
is a two mass hermit that probably is identified somewhere
in the homosexual alphabet.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
So anyway, that.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Addresses the ramblings of the iregal illegal immigrant activists across
the state who've been complaining about the state being on
the hook for detention and deportation facilities expenses, you name it. Anyway,
if self deportations from Florida kept pace at the national rate,
where four times as many illegal aliens have self deported

(05:16):
compared to those formally detained and deported. There were around
thirty thousand fewer illegal immigrants through the first five months
of the year in the state of Florida, or in
other words, about six thousand fewer per month, boil it
down more two hundred fewer illegal aliens in the state

(05:36):
per day. I'm going to come back to that as
it's my second takeaway today. But first, very big development
that could have enormous implications in the Middle East that
is going to be taking place with the President today.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Here's Fox's year at Halpern.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
The Trump administration is proposing a twenty one point piece
plan in the war in Gaza, secure the release of hostages,
and set up a civilian government in Gaza. Israeli Prime
Minister Benjamin Nett Yaho tells Fox he's working on it
with US officials and I.

Speaker 5 (06:09):
Hope we can make it a go because we want
to fear our hostages. We want to get rid of
Kamas rule and have them disarmed, Gaza demilitarized, and a
new future set up for Guzzins and Israelis alike.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
There are differences still between net and Yahoo and President Trump.
The President criticized Israeli airstrikes inside Cutter and says he
won't allow Israel to annex the West Bank. Okay, so
we will stand by for news on that one. Meanwhile,
as we are to get like a two hundred fewer

(06:46):
illegal aliens per day in the state of Florida, while
the government data is looking in the rear view mirror,
what we're able to see based on the pacing is
that as of today, if the pay of the exit
of illegal aliens from the state of Florida is the
same as it had been through the first five months,
we would have approximately fifty thousand, four hundred fewer illegal

(07:10):
immigrants in Florida as of today since Trump became president.
And that's a significant number. Although the other dynamic that
is easy to see, and this is my bigger takeaway
associated with us the overall effectiveness of Florida's toughest in
the country immigration policies preceding the Trump administration. Florida's the
third largest state. We have six point seven percent of

(07:33):
the country's population, Yet in terms of the number of
detained and deported illegal immigrants, We've only accounted for two
and a half percent. So what this means is that
Florida's immigration policies in recent years have made the state
sixty three percent less likely to have attracted illegal immigrants

(07:55):
or at least that have remained here since Trump became president,
compared to the average other state around the country sixty
three percent less likely. So obviously, even during Biden zero
of open border policies, de turns works as plenty of
research during those four years showed Florida to be the
top destination for border crossers. You know, also known as

(08:19):
magic Award people. The Magic Award people who sounded a
little bit like like this. Often are they selling Joel?
Is he this way?

Speaker 2 (08:32):
I seek? Wait, no, I say a sidem, It's been
a while since I've done that.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
There you go, little rusty, But he got there, got
the Often would sound a little bit something like that,
and then you would have, oh, yeah, I really would
like to do my job. But Joe Biden's president, he
says I can. So here's the brochure. Where would you
like to go? We got five stars in Manhattan for
you at taxpayer expense. We will also, of course, you know,

(08:58):
because no expense spared. Well, we'll get you there. And
you want some government assistance programs, here's an NNGO that
can help get you set up on those government assistance
programs once you get settled into your five star.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
So my third takeaway for you today, switching gear is
a bit federal behavior. Federal behavior, so one of the
other big things Trump obviously the big meeting with Nan
Yahoo today, but also another big meeting that's going to
take place.

Speaker 4 (09:27):
Time is quickly running out for lawmakers to strike a
spending deal and avoid a government shutdown. They have until
midnight Tuesday. President Trump will meet with top congressional leaders
from both parties at the White House to try and
reach a compromise. Right now, the biggest sticking points are
over spending and healthcare. If there's a shutdown, federal workers
won't get paid and many services will pause. The White

(09:48):
House is also threatening mass firings.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
Right so this week we're going to have a lot
of federal policy and focus. And first and foremost, will
there be a partial government shutdown come Wednesday?

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Or will Democrats?

Speaker 1 (10:02):
Realizing that President Trump would use the opportunity to permanently
shrink the federal government with a blink. So will there
be more federal indictments of allegedly bad actors from yesteryear
looming behind the James Comy indictment? How many folks think
Letitia James, you know, the allegedly corrupt New York prosecutor

(10:23):
who attempted to ruin and bankrupt President Trump. A lot
of people believe she's going to be next due to
our alleged mortgage fraud. On poly market where you can
actually bet on these things, seventy percent of people think
Latsia James is going to be indicted before the year's up.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
You have a you on this one, Joel, I mean
I'd have to go with the crowd. I guess, okay.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
But to the point of what I stated the last week,
very few think there's going to be accountability for James
Comy as in a conviction resulting in jail time. Has
only six percent on Paul Market currently think Komy is
going to end up in the clink. And that's the
thing about being indicted in the jurisdiction that's comprised of
about seventy percent TDS riddled Democrats.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
Nevertheless, the next steps with.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
All of these things could become very interesting, including the
potential for actual accountability for.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
People like Komy. So I'm again not holding my breath
on that type of thing.
