Speaker 1 (00:02):
Welcome to the Brian mut Show, and thank you for listening.
It's time for today's top three takeaways. Helpful, useful, repeatable.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
Imagine if GSS news cared about you, and today's a
pivotal day, a pivotal day. So yeah, my top takeaway is,
imagine if they cared as much about you as illegal immigrants.
Imagine if they did talking about your GSS news. Now,
(00:36):
here's somebody who does borders are Tom Homan. He was
on with Jesse Waters last night.
Speaker 3 (00:41):
Choice is making America safe again. We are prioritizing the
worse the worse in this country. We're removing national security threats.
Every day. They're getting to do the job they took
an hold to do. They're enforcement laws enacted by Congress,
and they see the incredible results of this.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
Yeah, so a couple of things you can take to
the bank today. It'll be hot behind and the news
media at large will continue to express more concern about
illegal immigrants than you. This happens every single day. I
wonder what it is like in the GSS news media
(01:16):
water that is, like, you know what we really need
to do. We need to constantly take the angle of
illegal immigrants over those that actually wonder what the ratings
contribution is, by the way, or the you know, for
the digital application, what are what the traffic in the
ad revenue is that's derived by illegal immigrants From these people,
(01:37):
you would think it's huge because again, they do a
better job of servicing them than they do you. They
certainly don't care about the impact of the illegal immigrants
to you. They care about them. So I just I'm,
you know, trying to figure out the angle here. So
here are headlines and the reason that I am bringing
this to you today. Yesterday was one of those days
(02:00):
and you'll hear me say this every so often, to
where my sensibilities were just so overwhelmed with absurdity that
I'm like, Okay, this must be dealt with.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
Because this what I'm getting ready to share with you.
I came across in local news media.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
I came across in state news media, I came across
in national news media. I even came across an international
news media, and often from different angles. What shows you
that it's like the collective cabal gets together and go Okay,
today's today that you've got to you know, we've got
to go all in on alligator Alcatraz and the illegal immigrants.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
There, you guys take this angle. We've got this one.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Here are headlines from around the state, in the country.
I's grabbed four. I could have dumb pages of them.
But Miami herold and this was their headline story yesterday.
Their top story, Florida has no formal hurricane plan for
Alligator Alcatraz I know, and Silican Joel's face concern.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
I am, I'm not well gonna happen that we already
know what floods in there.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
If that is going to upset you, then the Sun
sentinol their top story yesterday, most certainly well. Mexican tourist
brother detained in Alligator Alcatraz now back in Mexico.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
Ah, So okay, associated.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
Press stand by because become associated press, which of course
hits sites all over the place. Alligator Alcatraz detainees held
without charges, barred from legal access.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
Oh my gosh, an NBC.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
Immigration court hearings inexplicably canceled for Alligator Alcatraz detainees. Now,
I could keep going, but I'm going to start with
a little housekeeping here, little housekeeping for the GSS media,
because they're they're disingenuous at best, and are commonly just
(04:09):
outright lining to you before I even go into the
premise of this whole thing. To the Miami Herald, Remember
Florida has no formal hurricane plan for Alligator Alcatraz.
Speaker 4 (04:23):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
Yeah, there is a formal hurricane plan.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
Actually deport as many illegal aliens out of there as
possible and send the rest to state prisons. That is
actually the plan if there is a hurricane that impacts
South Florida, deport as many out in advance as possible,
and then the rest go to state prisons. So is
that not formal enough for you? I meanway, I'm trying
(04:48):
to that. What do we want to do to have
this formal? Should we, like, you know, create maps with
evacuation roots for the illegal aliens, Like here's your way
to evacuate Alligator Alcatras?
Speaker 1 (04:59):
Is that what we're looking for here?
Speaker 2 (05:03):
Maybe we need pamphlets distributed explaining this to the illegal aliens.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
We need them in their language too, and.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
There that's what I was thinking, you know, So it
could be like eighty different versions maybe on them. To
the Sun Sentinel. Remember, Mexican tourist brother detained an alligator Alcatraz.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
Now back in Mexico.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
This just then, you know, the so called Mexican tourists,
did you know that he was illegally driving while illegally
transporting his brother, who, by the way, is an illegal
immigrant on the visa over stay. So we have unlawful driving, transporting,
(05:48):
trafficking basically an illegal immigrant and an illegal immigrant in
the vehicle. But Mexican tourist and brother detained an alligator
Alcatraz to make.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
It sound like he's some guy with like noxima on
his nose and a camera around his neck, kicked up
for being Mexican.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
Right right, that's exactly what they're saying, right, these people
godless soulis Slanders. When I say gs, godless soulless Slanders,
these people, they're the real victims. So the Mexican tourists
and his brother for the associated mess. Remember, the djees
(06:25):
are held without charges. They're part from legal access charges.
You're here illegally. That goes for everybody, by the way, there,
you're not here legally. Now aside from the anti American
(06:46):
attorneys and the associated mess involved in that story, they're
just flat out lying, sidestepping the fact. For a moment,
that scam artists illegal immigrants pretending to be asylum seekers,
which almost all of them are eighty eight percent. Again
I brought this recently last year, eighty eight percent of
all fully processed asylum as sagonym seekers we're found to
(07:09):
be illegitimate eighty eight percent. And aside from the fact
that I don't believe for thirty seconds they should be
entitled to full due process rights like you and me,
why are they entitled to as much due process as
us legal people type, our courts, our resources, use our money,
all of these things. But aside from all that, there
(07:31):
are rooms set up at Alligator Alcatraz for detainees to
be able to speak with legal representation.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
But do you know what this is really about now?
Speaker 2 (07:39):
They've been demanding that there has to be physical on
site opportunity for legal representation. That's the issue now Again,
on the phone isn't good. Now, We've got to have
physical representation on him. As for these are the concerns
of your news media now, and as for NBC, remember
(08:01):
how the court hearings were inexplense, inexplicably canceled for Alligator
Alcatrast de tennyes Uh the hearings in question were canceled
because the court that scheduled them lacked jurisdiction. I don't know.
I think that's explicable. I think that might be literally explicable.
(08:26):
But here's the thing, and I'm I am guessing that
you didn't get up today worried about illegal immigrants and
Alligator Alcatraz.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
Joel, I understand he did.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
I was just worried that they'd get out, exactly right,
pretty sure you didn't get up today, going, man, my
big concern today is there are they going to have
physical on site legal representation at Alligator Alcatraz?
Speaker 1 (08:57):
This is their concern.
Speaker 2 (08:59):
There's also a better than n chance that to the
extent that you do ever think or hear about that
facility is something along the lines of what Juel just said.
You're glad they're there and not on the streets in
our communities. You're glad that there's finally some accountability for
illegal immigration, but you've no doubt noticed that's never the
news angle that is covered now here is something you
(09:20):
probably do care about. My second takeaway today not being
a victim of for crime. You probably care about not
being a victim of crime. And guess what's not being
covered by the GSS news. How much less of it
we have had since January twentieth reported across the state
at this point of the year is sparse.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
Most agencies are not fully reporting.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
But where it is available in agencies where we do
have the data, did you know that since January twentieth,
crime in Miami data is eighteen percent lower year every year.
Ditto Orlando crime eighteen percent lower year every year. Tellahassee
crime is approximately forty percent lower year every year. Why
is why are we seeing these massive decreases in crime
(10:00):
and these major metropolitan centers where, by the way, we
know that there have historically been among the largest or
the largest in the case of tad populations of illegal
immigrants in the state. Just coincidence, Like oh yeah, the
uh criminals this year, Like let me take the year off.
(10:20):
That's probably what happened, right, It's kind of collectively around
the state criminals. Scot's going to say, yeah, well, we
had a good run last year. We't's take this one off.
I'm sure it's what happened. By the way, we'll likely
see similar trends when crime sets are more broadly reported
across the state. But why cover the significant decrease in
crime that coincidentally coincides with the onset of the Trump
Administration's detention and deportation operation when you can just make
(10:45):
illegal immigrants out.
Speaker 1 (10:46):
To be the victims. Right.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
So yes, this is why I say to you, Imagine
if the GSS news cared as much about you as
illegal immigrants. My third takeaway for you today is a
pivotal day. Here's Fox's Hillary Barski.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
It's one we.
Speaker 4 (11:00):
Expected that the Central Bank will be keeping its benchmark
rate unchanged at a range of four and a quarter
to four and a half percent.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
The Fed has.
Speaker 4 (11:07):
Resisted lowering rates in part to better gauge the potential
inflationary impact of President Trump's tariffs.
Speaker 2 (11:13):
And the grand scheme of what's an especially important week
for the US economy got two events happening at two
different times of significant interest. The first hits eight thirty
this morning, when the second quarter GDP report will be released,
and the expectation significant boost in the US economy. As
recently as Monday, the elent of Federal Reserve's GDP now
estimate stood at two point four percent yesterday, the final
(11:34):
estimate before the actual report. They raised it all the
way to two point nine percent.
Speaker 1 (11:39):
That's big.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
So there is a belief that there is a significant
momentum in the US economy. Will soon see what the
impact of that was. And remember this is the second quarter,
which started with Liberation Day and all those related policies.
The second number to watch what you just heard their
interest rates? What there the policy will be Federal Reserve.
They will announce their policy to say at two this afternoon.
(12:01):
The markets have a ninety eight percent chance now priced
to in that interest rates will be left unchanged. The
lovely you heard the four and a quarter to four
and a half percent, despite President Trump's pressure campaign to
lower interest rates. And of course that will be the
next thing to watch President Trump's reaction to all of
this as well, So stand by for news
