Speaker 2 (00:14):
Welcome to the Brian Mud Show. Thanks for listening. Passion
plus talent is unstoppable. It's time for today's top three takeaways.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
Israel is winning and uh no what No one is
coming to Iran's defense. My top three takeaways for you
as there are some encouraging things that are happening in
the Middle East right now as we get going, my
top takeaway for you, the silence is deafening. The silence
(00:45):
is deafening. First catch up to speed as to what
happened overnight our time into the early afternoon in the
Middle East. Foxes Jonathan Savage with the latest.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
New waves of Iranian missiles been fired at Israel, with
explosions heard in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. The Iranian army
says to expect an intensification in the coming hours with
hundreds of drones being launched. The Israeli military, meanwhile is
continuing operations against Iran's capital, Tehran. Prime Minister Benjamin Natanna,
who says Israel has significantly damaged Iran's nuclear and ballistic
(01:22):
missiles programs, but as his forces need more time to
complete the job. Three people are now known to have
died in yesterday's strike targeting Iranian State TV.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
Yeah, so that plays into the silence being deafening here,
and it's also playsy in to hear the silence. So
let's get into it the past day's developments with the
Israel Iran war. We've had two very important dynamics that
were actually not in play yesterday, not emplay. In the
words of President Trump at the G seven and Canada
(01:54):
prior to leaving, he said, Iran is not winning this war.
No they or not. No they are not. There is
plenty of evidence this is the case. But in the
context that the picture is worth a thousand words, there
were a lot of words that came to mind as
silence was brought to the Iranian State News operation yesterday
(02:19):
and some of the more dramatic live TV footage that
you will ever see the State News broadcast ended as
you heard reference in Jonathan's report when in an Israeli
rockets truck the building sent the anchor running off the screen.
They're actually still broadcasting at the time, it didn't take
the broadcast off the air. Boy, you saw is everything
(02:41):
go black behind the anchor. You saw pieces of the
buildings starting to fall behind her. And then we have
quick sound of that if you want to, Yeah, sure,
fazo intu.
Speaker 4 (03:01):
Yeah, that says it all right.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Yeah, no propaganda machine, not even the iatola, the molas
in Iran. We're going to be able to spend that
one positively. And here they are propagandizing in real time,
and then you're done. The sudden silence of that broadcast
became deafening within the country, as it was a sign
(03:24):
of how Israel was able to strike into the heart
of Tehran at will silence the Islamic republics propagandizing in
a move that might prove to be symbolic as well
for the overall collapse of the regime. Should Israel continue
and truly end this thing. More on that aspect of
it in a moment, But first there were two other
(03:46):
acts of deafening silence, and they were out of China
and Russia yesterday. So on Monday, in a response to
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's saying that the Iranian government
was currently very weak and that regime change could certainly
be the result of Israel's current campaign. Did you hear
(04:10):
anything from President's Putin or she you hear anything from them.
Speaker 4 (04:17):
Jiell, I didn't. No, I did not hear a thing.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
I didn't catch anything from them either.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
Yeah, now what you heard instead because you did have reporters,
reporters reaching out to representatives of these two presidents one
in comment. Putin sent out a Kremlin spokesperson to address
the questions when asked about nn Yahoo's comments, and the
Kremlin spokesperson said this quote.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
We have certainly seen this statement. We've heard and read it.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
The Kremlin condemns the actions that have led to such
a dangerous escalation intentions, that was it, not putin a spokesperson,
and well didn't even specifically call out Israel's actions, just
we condemned the actions that have led to such a
dangerous escalation. That is remarkable. You're talking about effectively run's
(05:18):
biggest ally in Russia. And as for China, well, the
Chinese Communist Party official issued a statement over the weekend
condemning Israel's actions. To quote from the CCP, we condemn
Israel's actions. President she he wasn't in hiding yesterday, he
(05:38):
was out in the bound. In fact, he held there
was a scheduled summit with five other Central Asian leaders
for Monday, and he went ahead and just did that.
So she just went about his his summit with these
five Central Asian leaders, never even addressing the situation, never
set a peep about it. Now this is a special
(06:00):
important because what became crystal clear on Monday is that
if you're on boy, there's no help coming. You are
on your own. Guys, good luck out there. So yeah,
the allies of Iran are not coming. This is President
(06:20):
Trump as he was packing it in heading back to
DC from the G seven yesterday.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
I think we got a lot time, really a lot time.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
UK.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
We signed a big, great deal today and we're working
on others.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
But we had a just a really great relationship with everybody,
and thank nice.
Speaker 4 (06:37):
I wish I could stay for tomorrow, but that they understand.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
We had a great relationship.
Speaker 1 (06:43):
Not so much anymore with the French of French mccron
a little too much ice wine, I think a little
too much Canadian ice wine. Maybe maybe if he had
stuck with the croissants over the ice wine. He he
wouldn't have gone there for skis a little bit, see mccrawn.
When Trump was on his way back to DC, he
took the liberty of talking to the press and say, yeah,
you know Trump the recent LEFTUS, he's looking to broker
(07:04):
a sees fire.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
Homer Simpson would call that adult.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
Yeah, it was a dope because Trump got back to
d C heard that and said no. And in fact,
more most recently he said I'm in no good mood
to negotiate peace and so not at all what the
objective for Trump to head back to d C was
pertaining to the Israel situation. I have a feeling a
(07:31):
lot of this has to do with next steps and
what are you going to do? You take the I
had told out, How is this? How does this come
to get? I believe that's probably where a lot of
these conversations are, in addition to maybe some US equipment
that needs to be figured out in the hands of
Israel anyway, not to to broker a ces fire.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
But you did, as you heard the President say.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
By the way, he officially ratified the UK trade with
more to come, so.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
That was good.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
But anyway, as I have long said, China is not
just China.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
China is Russia, China is.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
Iran, it's Noco with racketmen, it's Cuba, it's Venezuela and Nicaragua.
But while those countries are allied and in many ways
like the new acts as powers, what that doesn't mean
is that their objectives are all the same. While the
(08:32):
Mullahs in Iran are Islamic zealots practicing Sharia law in
China that actively persecutes Muslims, right and faith of any
kind is the furthest thing from Putin's mind.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
Now, their common interest.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
Is oil and for China and Russia to have something
of an ally with a significant foothold in the region,
that's all that is. You know. Recently I mentioned on
a call with President Trump that President Putin agreed Iran
shouldn't have nuclear weapons. That's interesting, And as far as
China goes a country, there were six hundred nuclear warheads
(09:09):
and growing. They've issued a statement that there can never
be a nuclear war. Now I do I trust the
Communist Chinese, especially as they're building their nuclear arsenal in
real time. No, I think they just didn't finish that
statement and they say, uh, there can never be a
(09:29):
nuclear war that we don't start. They're certainly not going
to let Ran start it. So what all this means
is that for Iran there is no help coming. They
are on their own. And what you see is what
you see in Israel is effectively having their way with
Iran at this point, which means that the prospect of
RUnni and regime change is growing. And here's the thing,
(09:53):
this might be perfect timing. You know, we don't have
a great history with regime changes in the Middle East.
Two We aren't exactly a lot of great examples of saying, hey,
that was a really bad ombre over there, But man,
this one this worked out right.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
Not great. But what's different this time, and.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
This is what is key, what is central in this
conversation something that was touched on by Congressman Roger Marshall yesterday.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
This is the time to stand with Israel.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
We cannot tolerate Iran having a nuclear weapon, and this
is maybe a great, great day for the people of
Iran to overthrow this regime once and for all.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
He did. He said Iran and Iran in the same sentence.
That's interesting.
Speaker 4 (10:40):
Confused himself.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
I thought I heard it that way, and I did,
because I do.
Speaker 1 (10:46):
Anytime I hear iran, I think flock of seagulls, and
iran is technically the proper pronunciation.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
I'm not militant about it, just is.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
But yeah, anyway, So what's different is third takeaway?
Speaker 2 (11:00):
Today?
Speaker 1 (11:02):
The people want it where Roger marshalltt the people want it.
You take the Palestinian situation for a moment. As I
recently pointed out, some will say, you know that Hamas
has taken advantage of the Palestinian people. Not true at all.
Not only was Hamas elected by the people. Not only
do ninety seven percent of Palestinians surveyed harbor hate towards Jews,
(11:26):
but seventy one percent of Palestinians surveyed after October seventh
said that was the right thing to do. What kind
of evil are you made out of? When you take
a look at the whares of October seven, twenty twenty
three and go, yeah, right thing to do?
Speaker 2 (11:44):
Right there?
Speaker 1 (11:45):
These are evil people, Okay, the overwhelming majority of so
called Palestinians are truly broken, horrible, evil people, people that
believe in a culture of terror, a culture of evil,
and a culture of death. And it's why there can
(12:06):
never be a two state solution in peace because they
won't have it. They don't believe in that. They believe
in the death of Jews period. They believe in the
eradication of Israel.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
Period.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
Again, the Palaestinian people chose this, they chose Amas. They
support their actions overwhelmingly, and again as a reminder of
Hamas's founding documents that the Palestinian people took a look
at it and said, yeah, we want them leading us.
It states that Israel will exist and continue to exist
until Islam will obliterate it. And there is no solution
(12:39):
for the Palastinian problem except by jihad. Okay, So that
is that situation. But Iran it is not that. And
Iranians by and large are not like the Palestinian people.
The long suffering Iranian people do not want they've got
(13:00):
with the current state of the Islamic Republic led by
the Iatolas that you know when they get together in
Tehran for decades have said death to Israel, debt to America.
The most recent public surveying out of Iran shows eighty
one percent of Iranians want a regime change, eighty one
(13:22):
percent want the Iotola to fall, and most important isn't
just well, we're not happy with this group of terrorists,
give us a new terrorist. No.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
Most important.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
Seventy three percent no longer want Shria law. In fact,
seventy three percent say they no longer want any kind
of Islamic law governing them.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
That is huge. That is different.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
The Iranian people overwhelmingly want a different governing regime that
is vastly different than what Iran has seen since at
least nineteen seventy nine, when the Islamic Republic took hold
in the country, and with the leaders of Iran's two
biggest allies not even saying the thing is, the Iranian
government is on the brink. Boy regime Chains tried to
feel like a potentially inevitable outcome question.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
This is the sticky one. It's kind of like how
