Speaker 2 (00:13):
Welcome to the Brian Mud Show. Thanks for listening. Passion
plus talent is unstoppable. It's time for today's Top three takeaways.
Let's see. Are they protester riots? It's so hard, it's
so hard, I don't are LA's happenings protests?
Speaker 3 (00:38):
Are they riots?
Speaker 1 (00:40):
The GSS media has learned absolutely nothing. By the way,
you have learned a lot. As we dive into my
top three takeaways today, Let's start with Fox's Bill Malugin.
And here's an example of reporting from somebody who's not
even a boom.
Speaker 4 (00:57):
Flash bangs being thrown, protesters throwing water and fireworks at police,
police responding with non lethal rounds. Almost every single flag
in the crowd we saw was a foreign flag. I'm
not sure we saw a single American flag. In the
last couple of hours. An LAPD officer pulled two metal
baseball bats out of plants that have apparently been stashed there.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
Things like that put LAPD on edge.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
There you go, By the way, there are multiple law
enforcement professionals that were injured in last night's protest because
they're just they're protesting. And even Illusion again not a boob,
pretty solid reporter, Bill and even he protesters throwing fireworks
(01:42):
at police.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
That's not a protest. This just end.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
I actually think I've convinced myself now. And somebody asked
me to do acute a breakdown, a protest and a riot.
It is the easiest thing in the word world. It
might be the easiest Q and A I've ever done.
I think it is because the definitions are very clear,
the textbook definitions are very clear. But it might be instructive.
Speaker 5 (02:09):
I think it is a good idea, uh, and you
mentioned it earlier. If for no other reason, the folks
like us that are in the know can share it
with folks that aren't, and then they can those that
maybe the few that haven't seen what the media is about.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
And I'm not talking about Fox.
Speaker 5 (02:24):
I have to wonder, I don't it's a higher up
at Fox telling them not to use the term riot
or rioters, maybe not to make things worse or so.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (02:36):
I'd rather them say people through even though they're really
not people, they're monsters, they're animals, but whatever, people. And
I don't care what color you are. If you're throwing
stuff at a cop, you're an animal. But anyway, I
don't know. I digress, I will, I will back off
of this, but I'm just that's I just wonder if
that's what's something because Bill Malugit is not.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
Somebody like right, he's not a bit it's certainly not
a leftist to your point. I mean, I have heard
a lot of protesters and then the accurate characterization of
what's taking place out of even Fox, So it could
be something like that where from a from on high
they're they're telling them to handle it a certain way.
I can't speak to it, but I can't speak to this.
They've learned nothing. They've learned nothing. It's my top takeaway.
(03:20):
When you look at LA right now, what do you see?
You see, I don't know, dumpster fire of a city
like literally, you know, dumpster fire something and what feels
like a twenty twenty BLM situation all over again. We've
now seen four days of violence, burning and looting, but
that's not at all with the legacy news media cees.
Now it's been mostly peaceful protests two point zero godless
(03:46):
soul since lenders news media is the definition of insanity
and action. Headline, ABC News yesterday, LA Immigration protests, live updates,
newsome suing Trump administration. Trump flamed the fires and illegally
acted to federalized the National Guard. That is the ABC
(04:07):
News leading headline yesterday. CBS News. By the way, on ABC,
what is the point of even suspending Terry Moron? If
you're going to continue to put out crap like that,
your entire news organization is a dumpster fire. He just
(04:29):
CBS News Los Angeles anti Ice protesters. They weren't halfway there.
They got to the anti ice thing, and then they
said protesters clash. I mean literally two words that cannot
coexist in the same sentence. Yet they're next to each other.
Anti ice protesters clash. By definition, a protester protest, they
(04:53):
don't clash. Los Angeles anti Ice protesters clash with police,
set fires downtown a mid National Guard deployment. Protesters set
fires as well, of course, you know, And I was
thinking that.
Speaker 3 (05:13):
After I read that one am.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
I suppose the next time someone is charged with arson,
their defense should I mean, they should start by just
informing authority. Why are you arresting me? Just protesting? First Amendment? Baby,
first Amendment? And that certainly would be your defense in
the courtroom. Yeah, first Amendment. No, that was Arson.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
No.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
I read CBS News.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
NBC News headline, Crowds protesting immigration rates ordered to leave downtown.
But why if they're only protesting, why would they be
asked to leave? Isn't this the still the United States
of America? And actually, on that note, if you were
(06:00):
not told this was La, let's say you've been asleep
for a week, come out your coma and only saw
the people, the flags, the signs, the burning. Where do
you think you are if you just get some of
these pictures.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
Of La, the third world country somewhere?
Speaker 1 (06:15):
Yeah, yeah, I mean to those point you couldn't even
find an American flag around there. Headline CNN Trump seizes
on Los Angeles protests in contentious use of military amid
migrant crackdown. Look at this, we got a Trump slam
(06:36):
and a warm and fluffy migrant story.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
And of course they're protesters. This is CNN.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
And by the way, I suppose that we're just supposed
to believe that Donald Trump is in favor of a
major American city being shut down, burned, and looted because
it serves its purpose. That's what we're supposed to accept.
Now you realize this is what he's wanted. Related from
the New York Times, Trump jumps at the chance for
(07:07):
a confrontation in California over immigration now and by the way,
it's over immigration as well, right, not criminal acts, not
illegal over immigration. Now, here's something interesting. Do you know
where I found some real reporting yesterday? And I intentionally
(07:29):
saved it for last because they wanted to contrast everything
I've been subjective to, the summation of which I just
shared with you. And then I wanted to go to
a traditional legacy news media outlet, leftist news media outlet,
but in the location I was really curious about, The
(07:51):
La Times. I went to the La Times, and I
found real news coverage as covered in the story under
the headline. And this has been their main thing plastered
that what just updates to it. LA officials struggle to
curb disgusting vandalism, thefts, violence in downtown La. Boy, that
(08:16):
sure comes across a lot differently, doesn't it. LA officials
struggle to curb disgusting vandalism, thefts, violence in downtown in
La Nothing about vigrants, nothing about protesters. They explained exactly
what's taking place, a.
Speaker 5 (08:31):
Little bit different when you know it's reporters that actually
have to deal with it.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
Boy, you nailed it. You know.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
The La Times had seven reporters working on that story
round the clock. And it sure is interesting what happens
when this is happening in your city.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
To that point, chill.
Speaker 1 (08:50):
The La Times recognized this and has been credibly reporting
on this pretty much since it began.
Speaker 3 (08:56):
As it went back into their archives.
Speaker 1 (08:58):
On itlike their brethren and the legacy GSS News media
and on that note, this was in the La Time
story and I thought this kind of sums it up.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
Well.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
This is from the Democrat assembly member, the majority whip,
mar Gonzalez. Okay, so he is the leading House Democrat
in California and this is his district. LA is his district.
The quote from him in the La Times story, Let's
be absolutely clear, not even abundantly Joel. Absolutely he's raised
(09:34):
to stakes here. He's going more than Obama. The violent
acts were seen, rocks thrown at officers, CHP cars and
Waymo vehicles set on fire, arson on the one oh
one Freeway, have nothing to do with immigration, justice or
(09:55):
the values of our communities. These are not protest They
are agitators. Their actions are reckless, dangerous at a time
when our emergency services are already stretched. Then these acts
divert critical police resources away from real emergency emergencies and
(10:15):
put lives at risk. That is the leading House Democrat
in California and the Democrat who represents this district. These
are not protesters, and yet what is it you get
everywhere they're protesters. So yeah, why outside of LA isn't
(10:43):
it being reported that way?
Speaker 3 (10:44):
Hmmm?
Speaker 1 (10:47):
You know the answer. I know the answer. And guess
what they're imploding. Here's another example of this. Because these spread,
we had more of these protests. I say that in
quotations taking place last night. They expanded into Texas, Austin,
smaller one in Dallas, happened in Boston. Here's a reporter
(11:07):
from Austin. Fox to seven reporter in Austin.
Speaker 6 (11:12):
The crowd was dispersed by tear guests because protesters, they
got a little bit rowdy. But it all started here
at the Capitol. Hundreds came from all different backgrounds for
the same cause. Now, according to the organization of this
protest Party for Socialism and Liberation, the demonstration is a
demand to end the racist attention and the deportation campaign
(11:33):
of the Trump administration.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
Oh, she outed it that these are all organized, that
you've got the socialists that are organizing these that are
trying to destroy our country from within. She's clearly auditioning,
by the way, for a national godles Sola slenders gig.
Speaker 3 (11:51):
But I like the character. Isn't that fun? Okay? So
we can't go to rioters. We got rowdy protests a
little bit. If there's little bit brownie, why do you
need the tear getting breakout?
Speaker 1 (12:02):
Hank Williams Junior, Man, isn't it rowdy literality? By now,
you likely know that trust in tritional news media has
reached a record low, with only thirty one percent of
Americans having even a quote fare amount of trust in
tritional news media.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
That according to Gallot, So what is it that they've
decided to continue to do?
Speaker 4 (12:26):
Well?
Speaker 3 (12:26):
Exactly what it is that brought us to this point?
Speaker 1 (12:29):
What continues to be particularly remarkable about the state of
news reporting the rate at which they continue to shed
audiences and readers without any indication they intend to change course.
I mean, this is literally the yeah that we actually
see the iceberg. It's not like, hey, right ahead, No,
it's like it's way out there. You see that thing,
(12:50):
and they're just like yeah, or you doalize we're heading
straight at that thing? Yeah, do you intend to I
don't know, steer away from it? There were good, pretty
tough been here for a long time, not really in
the case of Titanic, but you know so anyway, despite
(13:11):
our country's population being larger than ever before, there is
not a single legacy news outlet that has not lost
at least forty percent of this audience from peak levels.
Speaker 3 (13:19):
No kidding.
Speaker 1 (13:20):
That's a figure that is inclusive of broadcast, print and
digital numbers. How long would you keep your job if
your work resulted in a loss of over forty percent
of the customers he came in contact with. I mean,
it is truly the definition of insanity with these people.
But they're still not fooling you and yours not buying
them as credible as sources of news give you an idea. Yesterday,
(13:42):
Sinclair Media pulled this question, should President Trump have sent
National Guard troops into Los Angeles to control attacks on
federal agents. With over thirty thousand responding, what percentage do
you think said yes, Joel is pretty much on it.
Speaker 3 (13:59):
Yeah, sixty five seventy's.
Speaker 1 (14:01):
Seventy two seventy two. So yeah, it's what you're seeing
take place in LA and now beyond. It's not eighty
twenty issue, but it is a seventy two twenty eight issue,
and that's huge. Takes me to my third takeaway today.
You get it, I get it. They still don't get
it somebody who does, though I'm one Security Secretary Christy
(14:22):
no choose on with handity last night.
Speaker 7 (14:24):
We're going to use the authority that he has as
President of the United States to conduct these operations. And
the more that people conduct violence against law enforcement officers, boy,
we're going to hit them back, and we're going to
hit them back harder than we ever had before.
Speaker 1 (14:37):
There you go with numbers that have been as big
as what we have seen in people that are taking
a look at the reporting on this and going, these
people are idiots talking about the news media reporting on it.
It's possible that even Joe Biden might get it at
this point, to the extent that he gets anything, it
is clear that even many Democrats. I'll have the assembly
member for the LA district get it. The disconnects between
(14:59):
the godless souls in Slanders NEWSVIDNU has never been wider,
but it still continues to grow. Do entirely to no
fault of your own, but their unwillingness to do the
right thing, their relentlessness and purely pursuing their leftist ideology,
and their unmitigated hatred for the current president of the
United States. Most are overwhelmingly against the illegal immigrants taking
(15:20):
advantage of our country. All but anarchists and gang bangers
are against looting, attacking police, and setting things on fire.
That is evidently the MSM and their current constituency.
Speaker 3 (15:34):
That's who they super serve. The gang members
Speaker 1 (15:38):
It is, you know, Crystal Clears, has ever been two
sides of stories on side effacts
