Speaker 1 (00:04):
Welcome to the Brian Mud Show. Thanks for listening. Passion
plus talent is unstoppable. It's time for today's Top three takeaways.
By Hey there, Happy Monday.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Congratulations for surviving the weekend during an impartial government shutdown.
My thought for you is, would you know that there's
a partial government shutdown that people weren't telling you? You're
a no, You're a hard noe on that so far, Rachel.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
I mean, I'm surprised I'm still here. This guy didn't fall.
You've actually not know?

Speaker 2 (00:43):
You would have no indication in your life that the
government shut.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Down now except that I logged onto my bank, which
shall shall remain nameless, my app for my bank, and
it is a little on the top. Has the government
shutdown affected you? And I had to laugh, Oh my gosh.
So that's the only way you would have known, is
that would have been it a woke bank that you're
evidently involved with tried to make you aware.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
Apparently, Yeah, yeah, all right, it got it. But at
least they.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Didn't have a rainbow in June, so there's that.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
Or your banking was less homosexual this year. That's yeah.
We're at war with Marxists. We're winning.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
So a lot of the headlines from over the weekend,
independent of the partial government shutdown, were as instructive as
they were alarming.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
Here's an example.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
DHS law enforcement ambushed, boxed in by ten cars in
Chicago suburb. Federal court overrules president's authority to send troops
amid Portland unrest. Are we in a recession? Yes, if
you live in one of these twenty two states. By
the way, Florida's economy particularly strong. The report shows the

(01:57):
difference good state economic Paul. But anyways, you take a
look at some of those headlines, some pretty alarming stuff
going on, and specifically, one of the most alarming stories
I've ever come across is that situation in Chicago. Here's
a bit more too it Fox's Christina Coleman.

Speaker 5 (02:18):
Two suspects were charged in federal court with using their
vehicles to assault, impede, and interfere with the work of federal.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
Agents in Chicago.

Speaker 5 (02:26):
DHS says they were part of a group of domestic
terrorists who ran the federal agents with their vehicles and
box them in with their cars in broad View, Illinois.
Dhsays Merrimar Martinez was armed with a semi automatic weapon
and has a history of doxing federal agents. Anthony Ian
Santos Ruiz. They say he was driving one of the

(02:46):
other vehicles during this attack.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
And part of what is so specifically alarming about this
situation the police response, or the lack thereof by Chicago PD.
So Ice as they are in this very dangerous situation
called for help called Chicago PD, and the cops themselves

(03:11):
are saying they were ordered not to assist. Since that report,
you have had officials come out in Chicago say no, no,
they did respond, and then they made sure everything was okay,
and then they went And there are sources in Chicago
PD that are saying that's bs, that is CYA. That
they did respond when the call came in, and then

(03:35):
when they got there they were told to stand down
by the city officials and not assist. That is beyond alarming.
Beyond alarming. You would have officials in law enforcement not
assist others regardless of who they are, but in this case,
in law enforcement, they were under attack. So the investigation

(04:02):
into that will be significant. Another huge development over the weekend,
more constructively, was that Israel stop military operations against Tamas
as a good will gesture. To attempt to get the
tear network to accept the twenty one point piece plan
proposed by President Trump, agreed to by Israeli Prime Minister

(04:26):
Benjamin net and Yahoo last week about.

Speaker 6 (04:28):
That delegations from Israel, Hamas and the United States are
set to hold indirect talks in Egypt. It's in hopes
of finalizing a peace agreement in Gaza. It's based on
President Trump's twenty point ceasefire plan. The multi phase proposal
calls for the immediate ceasefire and release of all of
the remaining forty eight hostages, and about twenty of those
are still believed to be alive.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Okay, all right, see what goes on there. See if
we can make Kaza great again, because there's a question
about whether Gadza was ever great. So anyway, as we
have entered a new week with much of the news
cycle squarely focused on the partial shutdown. For example, you
go to CNN dot com, the first thing you're going

(05:10):
to see is a government shutdown counter. In fact, let
me pull this up right now. How long the shutdown
has lasted? Five days?

Speaker 3 (05:19):
Is it counting down by like minutes and seconds and hours?

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Lets see if I click on it, maybe it will.
It just is right there at the top of their website. No,
I don't think it goes any Oh here we go.
Oh it does. Yes, if you click on it five days,
six hours, eleven minutes and two seconds mark.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
I figured, Oh my gosh.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
So anyway, if you are following the partial government shutdown,
mimim bid minute day by day, there you go see
itn you go to anyway, the biggest stories from over
the weekend really kind of helped to show what's at
stake in this country because it is clear that the

(06:01):
Marxists on the left have no shame, no intention of
changing tactics. To give you an idea, DHS data illustrates
now what percentage increase in assaults on ice officers this year?

Speaker 4 (06:15):
How big do you think it is?

Speaker 2 (06:18):
Survey says a one thousand percent increase and assaults and
ice officers. We've had a greater than tenfold increase in
attacks on ice this year, and by the way, the
trajectory has only been becoming worse. For example, in July,
following the targeted assassination on ice by Dalla in Dallas

(06:41):
by eleven perpetrators, the year over year increase stood.

Speaker 4 (06:43):
At eightfold at that point.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
So this weekend's blockade of ice in Chicago, you heard
about the underlying circumstances. What it really does show is
that we are effectively at war with Marxists in this country.
They certainly are acting that way, which is my second
takeaway today, and not of the political variety, you know,
assassinations and attempted assassinations of religious observers. Charlie Kirk Ice agents,

(07:11):
the president not slowing down, they're speeding up. Now. Since
the sixties has there been anything again to this kind
of culture within our society. But what's different now the
amplification and ease of radicalization online through social media. Just
as Florida has been highly effective in combating would be
threats through law enforcements, monitored use of social media and
digital communications in recent years, that type of approach all

(07:34):
could think of going through all this stuff that needs
to be applied at the federal level. I mean, it's
easier said than done, but it needs to happen. Organizing
online to commit a crime is a crime and it
needs to be treated as such. The arms woven in
Chicago organized online to create the threat to eyes. That's
a problem that needs to be addressed. And as for
the federal court halting the Trump administration's effort to combat

(07:57):
Portland's problem with folent crime, I mean, that's no surprise.
A total of four hundred and thirty lawsuits have now
been filed against the Trump administration this year, which is
still running a close to an average of two per day.

Speaker 4 (08:11):
And this is the real eye opener.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
I think, here's the updated information for you about outcomes.
What percentage of the time do you think federal judges
have ruled against the Trump administration? What percent of the time?
The answer is ninety four ninety four percent of the time. However,

(08:36):
how often as the Trump administration one eventual appeals when
they've made it to the Supreme Court ninety four percent
of the time. That's not a mistake. I didn't give
you ninety four on both instances and error. Ninety four

(08:56):
percent of the time lower federal court rulings have gone
against ninety four percent of the time the Supreme Court
has ruled on those cases, they've overturned those federal court decisions.
What does that tell you? What does that tell you?
Is there any kind of jurisprudence going on?

Speaker 4 (09:13):
There?

Speaker 2 (09:13):
Is there any kind of following the law going on there.
You can't have ninety four percent overturned without it being
something much bigger. That is the resistance in robes. This
is Marxism in a court room. We are at war
with Marxists in this country and that includes the federal
judiciary too. And if not for the Supreme Court holding

(09:33):
the line, the Marxists on the federal courts would have
already effectively eliminated President Trump's decision making the ability, they
would have neutered the guy by now. And that makes
this especially especially important. Today starts the new session for
the United States Supreme Court with a lot of huge

(09:54):
rulings pertaining to the president involved justice as.

Speaker 7 (09:57):
We'll begin their nine month docket this week with arguments
in a gate conversion therapy case. Other major cases they
will here include the legality of President Trump's sweeping tariffs
in a challenge by twelve US states and various businesses.
They'll be faced with a case concerning election finance restrictions
challenged by Vice President jd.

Speaker 4 (10:15):
Vance.

Speaker 7 (10:16):
The Court is also set to take up culture war
issues like race and transgender sports participation. Some cases involve
President Trump's attempt to remove federal workers like Federserve Governor
Lisa Cook and Rebecca Slaughter, a Democratic member of the
Federal Trade Commission.

Speaker 2 (10:31):
So yeah, I got that going on, along with other
things that'll no doubt pop up along the way too
that'll end up being appealed to the Supreme Court. So
President Trump's bold and aggressive approach to policy precisely with
this country needs to win the siege by Marxists seeking
to undermine this country. This isn't about left right politics anymore.

(10:56):
One of the things that come across frequenting people are
used to talking in terms of Democrats's Republicans left right.

Speaker 4 (11:02):
This is more involved than that.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
This is about winning an ideological war against hostile actors
seeking to undermine our country by any means. Rules for
raticals is on display from courtrooms to streets of blue
cities every single day. That must be defeated through winning
hearts and minds and through effective law enforcement.

Speaker 4 (11:20):
Every day.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
Speaking of winning hearts and minds, it's happening across the board.
My third takeaway for you today, in the wake of
the assassination of Charlie Kirk, there was a well documented
increase in church attendants. As I first noted, we immediately
saw and approxly been fifteen percent increase in attendance, on
par with what we saw post nine to eleven. However,
that wasn't all because the halo app we ended up

(11:43):
seeing subsequently up greater than ninety percent in users.

Speaker 4 (11:48):
But that's not all.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
We have now seen a twenty two percent jump in
Bible sales and also a measured increase in attendance for
all Christian denominations. According to Communio, which is affiliate with
four hundred Christian churches, there's been a consistent increase in
attendance across the board and go again, non denominational, Catholic,
you name it. And who's leading it? Young men, young men.

(12:12):
So unlike what transpired following nine to eleven, where you
saw like really big increase week one, last week two,
and by week three, is kind of like back to normal.
Not this time, this turn to faith doesn't appear to
be fleeting. If anything, it actually looks like it might
be gaining steam. And so this dynamic is going to
be key not just for well their souls, but for
the future of our country, because it is a mess

(12:35):
out there in many ways. However, the current religious revival
leaves plenty a room for optimism that the cultural pendulum
has finally swung in the positive direction, and the Marxists
are solidly in the minority. They're just disproportionately in the
federal judiciary and news organizations. So we're winning this war,
just often doesn't feel like it when you're right in

(12:55):
the middle of the battle.
