The incident began when Hayes police responded to a domestic
violence call late Saturday night after a woman claimed the
suspect drove his truck into her vehicle to keep her
from leaving his home that before she got away. Neighbor
Ronda Ranker described what happened after police.

Thirty two year old Hayes Police Sergeant Scott Haman was
hit by those shots.

Hayman later died of his injuries at the hospital. He's
the fourth Kansas law enforcement officer to die in the
line of duty in just over three months. The suspect
who was barricaded in the house killed himself before police
preached the home early Sunday morning.

Scott is survived by his wife and two children. And
as we reflect on those we've lost, please remember the
families of our fall and as well the average age

losing sixty seven law enforcement professionals in the line of
duty this year, there are forty five widows and one

Palm Beach police warning parents to keep an eye out
for fentanyl disguised as candy. It's Halloween years. Official state
traffickers have been intentionally making the deadly drug and candy
like forms to attract children and young adults. This is
in order to drive addiction. A police officers recently conducted
a traffic stop that led to the seizure of fentanyl

pills that are disguised to look like colorful gumballs. Ashley
Moody will be getting away her pay during this federal
government shutdown that continues, the senator announcing yesterday she'll donate
her salary to the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay, which
helps those struggling with domestic violence and other issues. Fellow
Senator Rick Scott and others have said they should not
be paid while the shutdowns in effect. Florida's DOGE team

uncovering wasteful spending in some local governments around the state
and Saint Pete. Auditors say over five hundred grand was
spent on pride events and climbing initiatives, Orlando cont spending
