Protecting the Palm Beaches. A tribute to those who serve
and sacrifice. And this is brought to you by the

including last year where we had a significant increase in LDS.
Total three hundred and forty two law enforcement professional shot
in the line of duty, one hundred and sixty seven
heroes that ended up dying in the line of duty,
eight in Florida. The improved news is with the rate
(00:56):
of LDS is much lower this year, these still unfortunate news.
We've lost seventy four heroes in the line of duty
so far this year, including five in Florida. And we've
lost this hero since the previous update. In California, Officer
Lauren Craven was struck by a passing vehicle while she

was trying to conduct a rescue during a fatal accident
on the interstate.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
She died of her injuries at the scene.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
And as we reflect in those we've lost, please remember
the families of our fallen as well. At the average
age forty one, average two of duty twelve years. In
additional losing seventy three law enforcement professionals in the line
of duty this year, there are fifty widows and one
hundred and twenty seven children who've lost to parent. This
is your weekly reminder to back the badge and spread
the word, because Lord knows they need us every bit
(01:47):
as much as we need them.
Speaker 3 (01:49):
