Speaker 1 (00:02):
Welcome to the Brian Mud Show. Thanks for listening. Passion
plus talent is unstoppable. It's time for today's Top three takeaways. Well,
the Biden administration was evil. The political leftist still is
in other news today. So yeah, there's a lot to

(00:24):
get through here. And I don't say stuff like that
just to say it. But of course what I am
getting ready to tell you, which is extraordinarily important, about
the systemic evil within the federal government, within FEMA specifically. No,

(00:45):
the only thing you're going to hear is stuff like this.
On this vote, the age of fifty four, the nays
of forty six, three fifths of the Senators do we
chosen and sworn not having voted in the affirmative, the
motion is not agreed to. So here we are, day
twenty three of the partial government shutdown that you almost
certainly have not felt, because again, the average person living
the average life has not. And I have heard from

(01:07):
a smattering to people say, well, you know, this situation
here has impacted me, or that I understand there are people,
especially anybody who was directories to federal government work at
this point, that are impacted. The average person going through
their average day living the typical life would not note
that this thing has existed, except that it's reported all

(01:27):
the time. That's a fact. Now, another fact, Democrats yesterday
in the Senate voted not to pay anybody who was
showing up to work. The measure to pay on schedule
at least the people that have been reporting to work
during the federal government shutdown. Democrats voted against that too yesterday.

(01:50):
Show what hypocrites they actually are. But again, these people
are evil, So it's not really a surprise My top
tagaway for you today by an administration was evil. And
again this is not hyperbole. I do not say this
for sensationalism, and I do say it entirely in the
context of my saying that there are two sides to stories,
of one side of facts, because this is non opinion.

(02:12):
This is a demonstrable fact. That is, unless it is
your view that it is not evil for the federal
government to intentionally deny emergency aid, potentially life and death
type of aid two people in declared national emergencies due
to their political beliefs or gun ownership. Is that evil

(02:35):
or not evil? What do you think, Joel, Evil? Not evil?
That's that's definitely evil. During life and death situations ago.
This one's a lefty I help them. That one's what
Trump you die? That's evil, be evil on either side.
If Trump's FEMA was doing that, it would be evil
as well, pretty unconscionable. Yeah, and you may recall that

(02:59):
it was about a year ago, the wake of Hurricanes
Helena Milton that ominous information about FEMA began to trickle in.
As I noted at the time, I went back to
my coverage of this, I said, currently, my vacation home
in the North Carolina Mountains is undergoing renovations following the
flooding of Helene brought to our home in the region.
By the way, they are still going on right now.

(03:20):
But that is in part another story. That were able
to renovate as opposed to needing to replace makes us
among the most fortunate in the area. This was a
note that I received from a friend on October twenty fourth,
nearly a month after the impact of the storm, when
she was finally able to communicate with the outside world
once again. Okay, so this will have been something I

(03:43):
received a year ago tomorrow from one of our friends
up there. She said, honestly, we've all been in shock.
Six of my neighbors washed away, and by the way,
their bodies were never even found. You heard about a
lot of these people just went missing. Some bodies were found,

(04:04):
other instances never did. But almost a month later we
are cleaning up and building back and moving forward. We
will have these mountains back to normal and no time. Okay,
So that was that was the note. You know who
wasn't around because one of the things I did consistently
during this window of time spot check who was actually

(04:27):
on the ground, who was there, who was helping? What
are things that we could do remotely to be able
to assist, so you know who is never around in
our area? FEMA. In fact, following the impact of Hurricane Helen,
here is the list of all of the people that
I was told made it to the area to provide

(04:47):
assistance to those in need before FEMA, the North Carolina
National Guard, the Florida National Guard. In fact, many of
our neighbors told us that Governor de Santis had done
more in the immediate aftermath the storm that their own
governor had done let alone, FEMA, the Tennessee National Guard,
and Greg Biffle, a former NASCAR driver, uses personal helicopter

(05:11):
to go into areas are cutoff with roads that are
down which where we are, there was a time where
everything was impassable, all the roads to the mountain cut off.
So what we came to learn is that it's possible
that many of these communities, which commonly voted seventy to

(05:31):
eighty percent for Donald Trump, were intentionally avoided. FEMA showed
up in the liberal bastion of Asheville, but not in
most of the bright red surrounding areas. When we talked
to the president of our community about FEMA specifically, like, hey,
you know they come. Have you tried to recoup because

(05:56):
there is work has been going on NonStop. I mean
so many places up there, but like in our community
since after Helene, and there's a mad rush right now
to get things to completion before we get into snow season.
The first note is expected up there within the next
three weeks. And so I mean talking in our community alone,

(06:21):
just on exterior stuff and independent of anything that happened
with people's properties. Millions of dollars, millions of dollars we've
laid out over the past as a community over the
past year, FEMA never showed up, and the community made
attempts for claims to FEMA. They're all just denied. There's
never even a second level attempt by FEMA that is consistent,

(06:46):
as we came to learn following Hurricane Milton's impact and
impact in Florida. You might recall this was what first
put this on a radar, and that's why I was
talking about a year ago. But a supervisor issued in
order that properties with displays for Donald Trump were to
be avoided. Specifically, it was documented at the time that

(07:08):
there were twenty homes in Lake Placid where people were
in need of assistance, and yet FEMA deliberately passed them over,
and that revelation, brought forward by a whistleblower led to
the firing of a FEMA supervisor they said was responsible.
They were trying to make it out like this was
while rogue acting supervisor in the field, and that supervisor's

(07:30):
name Marnie Washington, and what she had to say at
the time was this, she said, why is this coming
down on me? I'm the person that jotted down the
notes from my superiors and my notation in Microsoft teams
chat from the Search capacity team. This was the culture.

(07:53):
They were already avoiding these homes based on community trends.
She said that she was just simply executing what was
coming down from her superiors, and so that supported the
whistleblowers claim that the practice wasn't isolated to just one
supervisor in the ground in Florida, and thus may also

(08:16):
explain these slow or even non existent female response in
North Carolina's most conservative mountain communities that had been devastated.
And here we are with where I ended the train
of thought a year ago and where we pick up today.
My final thought on this, based upon the information we
had in hand at the time, I said, could you

(08:37):
imagine if first responders denied assistance to people in need
based upon political beliefs? Yet that's exactly what emergency management
workers in Florida did. That much we know. The questions
are how high did the directive go and how pervasive
is the practice? That is what we did not know.
My second takeaway for you today is how we know

(09:01):
Fox is Chris Foster.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
An internal investigation by the Homeland Security Department and Federal
Emergency Management Agency found that FEMA employees would refuse to
visit homes and disaster areas displaying political messages they disagreed
with for example, Trump signs after Hurricane Milton in Florida
last year.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
How extensive. So the fresh press release from the Department
of Homeland Security entitled DHS exposes how FEMA officials under
the Biden administration systematically refused to aid to disaster survivors
on purely political discrimination. Refers case to the Department of Justice.
That's just the title, and that says a lot, and

(09:38):
what's in the twenty two page reports is a heck
of a lot more. The Biden administration's abuse of FEMA
started right away. DHS documented FEMA field workers documenting information
about political affiliations and gun ownership that factored into whether
emergency or relief would be provided to individual homeowners and

(10:01):
at times whole communities, starting in year one. The DHS
report shows that starting with Hurricane Ida, which struck Louisiana
in August of twenty twenty one, this became standard operating procedure.
What does this mean? It means that the victims of

(10:23):
at least four hundred and ninety one emergencies that FEMA
responded to, including two hundred and thirty three declared disasters,
between August of twenty twenty one. In January of twenty
twenty five were potentially denied assist since due to political
affiliation or gun ownership in Florida. This included periods covering

(10:47):
the impacts of hurricanes Sally, Ian, Nicole, Idelia, Debbie, Helene,
and Milton, in addition to a rash of tornadoes in
April of twenty twenty three that brought about a Major
Disaster declaration. So now we know how pervasive the policy
happen to be, and it precisely corroborates the Florida field

(11:07):
supervisor who said that she escapegoaded when she was fired.
This was standard operating procedure. All instances of this occurring
are in flagrant violation of federal law in addition to

(11:29):
just being unconscionable things to do. Homeland Security Secretary Christy
Noam has referred this entire investigation to the Department of
Justice for further investigation and potential prosecution. In addition to
the Homeland Security Office of the Inspector General. All related
practices and policies have obviously been scrapped by FEMA. An

(11:50):
additional training, oversight and auditing of emergency responses have been ordered.
But here's the thing that cannot be overstated. These people
are evil. My third takeaway today related White House Wuty
Chief of Staff Stephen Miller two Sean Hannity last night,

(12:10):
this is a party that has embraced full scale insurrection
against the laws of the United States. People are evil,
and by these people, I'm talking about the political left
at large. I seriously doubt it's possible, But I seriously
doubt President Biden himself ordered political discrimination take place within FEMA,

(12:36):
that people potentially live or die based upon political affiliation.
I doubt he ordered that himself. But guess what somebody
at an extremely high level in his administration did. And
then consider this, not one person, not one person in
supervisory ranks for that matter. Now, when field worker until

(13:01):
a whistleblower after Hurricane Milton stepped forward at any point
for nearly four years across hundreds of emergency responses as
people were denied emergency aid based on perceived political preferences,
not one How broken of a person do you have

(13:26):
to be to think that's okay? But that's organizationally what
took place at FEMA? Now do you think this only
existed or still exists only at FEMA? We already know
about the past weaponization and political targeting of the IRS
and DHS under the Obama and Biden administrations. But this

(13:47):
illustrates as the partial government shutdown. Shut the whole freaking
thing down and go away, good lord, And it's the
twenty third day. Is the need to permanently shrink beside
a federal government agencies. There must be accountability, there must
be change to the status quo. A smaller, more sustainable

(14:08):
government stands a much better chance of being transparent and accountable.
But the political left in this country responsible for these things.
They're evil, period evil. But then again, wasn't that recently
clear when they cheered the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Talk
about how broken you have to be. And we have
people that have done that on one of which is
a member of the Palm Beach County School Board and

(14:29):
the others the president of the teachers union in Martin County.
And there are you in first Amendment stuff. It's the
first Amendment for me to cheer the assassination of Charlie
Kirk and then lie about them. I should be teaching
your kids see truth be told unless you are a godless,
soulless leftist like them. What they thought of Charlie Kirk

(14:55):
as exactly what they think of you two, don't remember,
just free speech issue. When you reject God, as the
left has, evil is what you get. When you get
rid of light, you have darkness. That is what they

(15:15):
have done. They've embraced this, that is evil. And when
they get old, by the way, what you saw on
display last Saturday is what you get.
