Speaker 2 (00:18):
Time now for today's top three takeaways.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Well, hey there, hope you had a great weekend. You
know the Left they failed again. Israel is winning again.
Talk a little bits about some Florida tax cuts as well,
and where we stand my top three takeaways for you
today and want to start updating you with where we
stand with Israel and Iran. What's happened overnight? Foxes Jonathan Savage.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Iranian strikes on Israel have killed at least eight and
injured dozens more. Overnight into Monday, one missile foul near
the US consulates in Tel Aviv, causing minor damage to
the building. Iran is jaliating against the assault Israel began
on Friday when it attacked military and nuclear infrastructure, military
leaders and scientists among hundreds dead, all, says Israel's Prime

(01:11):
Minister Benjamin Nettan Yahoo, because Iran was on the verge
of developing its first nuclear weapon.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
And we will end up diving into this a bit
of my takeaways as we get going, and also in
today's Q and A. But before we get there, my
top takeaway today they huffed, they puffed, they failed again.
So you have a nice, nice weekend. Nice fathers say

(01:37):
you have a nice Father's.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Day, jel, Yes, I did, Thank you very nice.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
You have a great time participating in the No Kings
festivities on Saturday.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
No, but I did enjoy seeing alerts on my phone
and you know, looking over TVs. I was out and
about somewhere and seeing thousands, thousands of No King's protesters,
thousands in Orlando, thousands in West Palm Beach, thousands in
Port Saint Lucie, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. This

(02:10):
was interesting. I'm like, there couldn't have been thousands in
each of these places.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
So about that, there's some interesting things to go into it.
I spent some time yesterday taking look at numbers. It's
interesting how whatever the organizers seemingly presented to people news,
they dutifully just went headed around with it. And so
the anticipated numbers be anticipated by whom by No Kings,

(02:38):
and apparently they're co promoters and all of this, which
would be your news media. They're the ones who But
but in terms of actual numbers, know you're you're onto something,
they're Joel. And perhaps you ended up seeing the Army's
two hundred and fiftieth Parade. Maybe not necessarily, Joel. I
think he was probably busy.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
What movie did you go to?

Speaker 4 (02:59):
Actually I didn't. Actually I drove. I drove. If you
want to know what I did this weekend, I drove
on Saturday to Orlando to pick up my twelve year
old daughter.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Very nice.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
We stayed overnight at a hotel there, did some fun stuff,
went to the pool, et cetera. And I brought her
home yesterday because my older daughter, who lives with me,
is a teacher, so she's off for the summer.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Nice. He had her for Father's Day. Yeah, I had
her for Father's Day. That's christ That's what I did.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
I was not sitting in a movie there. We did
go to one on Saturday night, but that's another story,
all right.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
So the Army's two hundred and fiftieth Parade, this was
the actual thing on Saturday, not the no King's nonsense.
I And by the way, it was both amazing and patriotic,
but also a reminder that under President Trump, we once
again can feel good about the direction of the country. Now,

(03:50):
how many people, how many people have you bumped into
over the past day that were like, heck, yeah, you
know that No King's then, man that No Kings?

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Yeah, what a great day? Why are you laughing?

Speaker 1 (04:05):
I've I've heard nothing about Okay, right, so I will
give them credit the legacy. GSS news media tried as
hard as they could to generate interest in the phony
repackage No Kings thing on Saturday as it brought you
on Friday, the whole thing branded by Chuck Schumer, paid

(04:29):
for by George Soros and friends, organized by Democrats and
their Marxist third party organizations.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Heck's CBS News even.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Promoted the purchase of No King's merchandise for attending Saturday's festivities.
That's fun, And from national news outlets to local news outlets,
stories were posted in advance about the playing times and
locations of.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Protests, you know, because who wouldn't want to attend?

Speaker 5 (04:53):
Right?

Speaker 1 (04:56):
I think you would have to go back to the
January sixth committee to find the last time that GSS
media provided so much free advertising in kind to an
anti American, anti Trump thing. But anyway, here's the fact
President Trump has had rallies bigger than the biggest crowds
that showed for any events in any city. That's a fact.

(05:19):
Here's another one. While reporting over the past day claims
quote unquote millions attended events across the country, organizers claim
that maybe the number was five million, could have been
five million. Now, there's not only no official estimates that
have put real numbers anywhere close to that reality. Even

(05:41):
the use of the term millions likely wasn't reality. In
reviewing the estimated turnout numbers from across the country yesterday,
at the absolute high end, like if I run with
the highest possible numbers that were legitimate minute, the number

(06:01):
I could get to is one point eight million.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
So what does that mean?

Speaker 1 (06:06):
Well, at most, at most about half of one percent
of Americans, half of one percent gave a rip about
no kings. Your media is like ninety five percent, but

(06:28):
no kings people half of one percent if I'm being generous.
Look at the reporting before, during, and after you want
some perspective on this. The total audience for the Fox
News Weekend Show, the Big Weekend show, the one that's
called the Big Weekend.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
Just that show is about that size.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
It's about the size of everybody that turned out for
one of these things across the country in total. How
much reporting did you see on the over the weekend. Incidentally,
the military parade in Washington, d c. For the Army
of two hundred and fiftieth birthday, with much less publicity
from the media in advance and during, drew an audience

(07:12):
greater than fifteen million people who watched it live. And
as for the and by the way, I mean multiples
of that, they'll watch it after the fact online. By
the way, it was a super cool thing to see.
And President Trump's team did justice, paying homage to the
country's oldest fighting force that first ended tyranny and then

(07:34):
established sovereign team continues to provide freedom for like the
even the Marxist malcontents to protest, and your news media
to continue to be as awful as they are at
doing what they do. Second takeaway today, God bless Israel
and we should be thankful to President Trump had this
to say, Well, I hope there's going to be a deal.

(07:56):
I think it's time for a deal, and we'll see
what happens.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
But sometimes they have to fight it out.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
But we're gonna see what happens.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
I think there's a good chance he'll be a deal.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
Okay, so show hands. How many people want the US
going to war with the run. I don't see your hands.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
Up, joint. You don't want to go to war?

Speaker 4 (08:15):
No, not really, not really in my plans.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
Show a hands. How many people are cool with Irun
having nuclear bombs? Why do you have your hands up?
Joining oh, ChEls, I don't know if it was even
something that Joe wants if he's are the hands going
on for anything today? You're like leaning on both of
them right now, which is why I say this, like

(08:40):
he's got his weight on. I don't know that he
could bring his hands up without face planning on the
port in front of it.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
But what leaning into the microphone. I was just making
an observation.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
I'm asking if you gonna have your hands up, and
I'm observing that I don't think you could put your
hands up, right, I mean I could, like there's one
now joels them up.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
Sounds like do an exercise.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
So anyway, given that none of us want American boots
on the ground with Iran, which which also isn't just
about Iran, but is about China, Russia, North Korea with
Little Rocket Man, Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua. We certainly don't
want World War three, so God bless the Israelis for

(09:29):
doing what the entire world really needs.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
Them to do.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
A couple of notes about what's transpired here. We know
multiple nuclear and Richmond sites have been taken offline. We
know Tehran's main energy supply has gone up in smoke.
We know dozens of top Aratian leaders and scientists have
come to learn that there weren't any virgins waiting for them.
But what we also know is that no permanent disabling

(09:54):
of Iran's nuclear programs has taken place. See if the
nuclear material material, if any uranium, had taken direct hits,
you would have elevated radiation levels in surrounding areas. According
to the International Atomic Energy Agency, there isn't any increase
in radiation around any of these sites in Iran. So

(10:15):
what's happened thus far is a massive setback for Iran,
but not a nuclear disabling.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
So what would you like to see happen from here?

Speaker 1 (10:24):
Personally, I'd love to see the idea finish the job
that most of the rest of the world, if they're
being honest, would like to see happen too. My third
takeaway for you today, we're going to take a look
at what goes on closer to home.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
But first we'll start with a South Florida congressman.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
He was talking about Israel and Iran, Jared Moskowitz on
with Jesse Waters last night.

Speaker 5 (10:47):
After five rounds of the negotiation, this administration giving Iran
almost every opportunity to prevent this from happening. This was
the choice of the Iranian regime of the Supremely who's
eighty six, experiencing mental decline and wants to be martyred.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
Some perspective there. So the third takeaway for today a
done deal. The Florida Legislature votes today on the budget
package that they came to an agreement on on Friday.
In the end, Governor de Santis nor his adversary in
this year's session, House Speaker Daniel Perez, got what they wanted.
The compromised deal doesn't include DeSantis's desired property tax cuts.

(11:29):
It also doesn't include Perez's preferred state sales tax cut,
but it does include an elimination of Florida's business re
rent tax, a host of sales tax holidays many have
grown accustomed to, including hurricane supplies and going back to school,
which will be made permanent. The back to school sales
tax holiday if this ends up passing and assigned int

(11:51):
law by DeSantis, will be a permanent sales tax holiday.
There will be a sales tax holiday for camping, fishing,
and hunting supplies. In addition to outdoor activities, The state
sales tax also be repealed for the purchase of tickets
to state parks, to NASCAR races, and for the purchase
of gold, platinum, or silver bullion. One semi win for

(12:13):
DeSantis in the budget is money that's allocated to studying
the impact of a potential elimination of property taxes. That
doesn't deliver property tax relief this year, but it is
the important first step towards potentially getting an amendment on
the ballot for voters to consider next year. So Flora's
budget deal finally appears to be a done deal.
