Speaker 1 (00:04):
Facts, integrity, and trust. This is the Brian mud Show.
As we're at tracking Trump to going to look at
all of the president's executive actions, and the man's been
nothing if not busy. As of today, he's signed one
hundred and eighty eight executive orders compared to two twenty
during his entire first four years and one hundred and
(00:25):
sixty two signed during the Biden and Team Autopen administration.
President Biden is also our President Biden. President Trump has
also signed seventy eight presidential proclamations, forty seven presidential memoranda,
and nine laws. And as we take a look at
what he has done over the past week, but he's
getting ready to do at the end of this week
(00:48):
hugely significant. Here's the latest from Fox's Jared Albern. While
President Trump remains focused on striking a peace agreement in Ukraine,
White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt describes Friday's one on
one meeting with the Russian President Vladimir Putin is a
listening session.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
Only one party that's involved in this war is going
to be present, and so this is for the President
to go and to get again a more firm and
better understanding of how we can hopefully bring this war
to an end.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
Anchorage, Alaska is hosting the summit. It will be the
first in person meeting between President Trump and Putin in
the president's second term. And as we do take a
look at the executive actions that the President has taken.
Most recently, the executive Order addressing threads to the United
States by the government of the Russian Federation will happened
(01:38):
to be one of those, and so that was the
most recent action taken by Trump to ratchet up teriff
rights in countries like India that have been still taking
in Russian energy even increasing And so that will be
no doubt part of the conversation on Friday. By the way,
our White House correspondent John Decker will be with the President,
traveling with the President to that some of that get together.
(02:01):
We'll have all the latest for you. President also signing
the Executive Order guaranteeing fair Banking for all Americans. This
aimed at not being debanked because of your politics and
not being treated differently than other people based upon your
legal buying habits. The Executive Order democratizing access to alternative
assets for four to one K investors. This the executive
(02:23):
order that is aimed at allowing cryptocurrencies and private equity
into four to one K plans. An executive order improving
oversight of federal grant making. Just as it sounds, the
President cided COVID nineteen era grants, like, for example, when
Defouch was issuing grant to companies that were in business
(02:43):
with the Wuhan Lab. We need more oversight of these
kinds of things. Make sure that kind of stuff doesn't
happen again. President signed the executive order further modifying reciprocal
tarifrates to reflect ongoing discussions with the People's Republic of China.
That one extends until November tenth, the EXIST team temporary
trade deal with China while a permanent one is negotiated
(03:04):
without increasing teriff rates. The executive order declaring a crime
emergency in the District of Columbia. This one that obviously
has been huge news this week, as the President federalized
the Metropolitan Police Force in DC and also release in
the National Guard.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
All right, let's get a look at some Florida headlines.
Florida's governor has a new second in command. Governor Ron
Dei Santis yesterday named former Tampa State Senator Jay Collins
is Lieutenant Governor. Collin's a combat wounded veteran who served
for more than twenty years. He's a Green Beret. Desanta
says disappointment makes Florida the only state where veterans are
governor and Lieutenant Governor. De Santa's calls Collins an unapologetic
(03:42):
fighter for conservative values and patriot who's dedicated his life
to serving our country. Florida could see its first black
bear hunt in a decade this December. That is, if
Florida Fish and Wildlife Commissioners give their final approval today.
Proposal would be to issue one hundred and eighty seven
permits allowing one bear per permit to be taken for
one of four bear hunting zones. As bear hunted twenty
(04:03):
fifteen saw more than three hundred killed in less than
forty eight hours. A federal judge will decide today if
operations and construction can resume the illegal immigration detention facility
in the Everglades known as Alligator Alcatraz. Obama appoint Judge
Kathleen Williams previously ordered a two week conjunction against any
new construction on the site, but allowed operations to continue
(04:24):
to federal lawsuits aim to shut down the facility at
South Florida Bay. Spirit Airlines concerned about its future again.
Discount Airlines says it needs to raise more money to
avoid going out of business, and it's quarterly report that
was released on Monday spirits that it continues to be
affected by adverse market conditions. Airline, which came out of
(04:46):
bankruptcy earlier this year, said it's considering selling airport gates,
real estate, and some aircraft to earn cash. So Spirit
Airlines looks to be going away. And again that black
bear hunt thing, I know that's something that you're not.
You're not for the black bear hunt, Brian. That is accurate.
Not a fan,
