Speaker 1 (00:04):
Hey, thanks for listening, and welcome back to the Brian
Mud Show. Time now for today's top three takeaways.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Yeah, what a day. What a day.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
Yesterday was unpresidented peace in the Middle East, President Trump,
a historic uniter. As we were listening at this time
yesterday to President Trump in his speech before the Kanescent,
coming off of something that I think a lot of
us never thought may end up happening. Then the events

(00:36):
as they played out yesterday in Egypt. So we take
a look at where we stand. There are some things
that are a bit unsettled. You know, it's not all
Kumbayan sunshine lollipops, But man, have we seen mountains moved?

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Here?

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Fox is Jennifer Griffin the latest.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
Before landing, President Trump flew over Hostages Square now renamed
fried Scare, before traveling to Jerusalem, where he met the
hostages families, received Israel's highest civilian honor, and signed a
message to the Israeli people announcing today is a new
beginning and.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
After so many years of unceasing war and endlest danger.
Today the skies are calm, the guns are silent, the
sirens are still, and the sun rises on a holy
land that is finally at peace.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Yeah, it was an incredible thing, truly an incredible thing. Now,
in terms of the unsettled stuff, there are a couple
situations yet to be resolved with Hamas, which they're Hamas,
they're a Tara organization. It's not entirely unexpected. But one
of the items that they had agreed to the peace deal.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
To this arm.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
You know, I've broken down the twenty point plan that
had been agreed to. One of those for the arms,
Hamas's arms to be destroyed, and Toms is like, we're
not going to disarm, so we'll see what becomes of
that situation. The other you have only four of the

(02:12):
twenty eight remains of hostages that have been returned, so
for the non living hostages, just there's still twenty four
bodies outstanding out. The thing about that is it is
believed that they may not necessarily be recoverable the remains
or at least known, so that may not be so

(02:34):
much Moss holding out is just the situation as it
may be. With all that said, what we've witnessed is
truly an unprecedented situation. What you've witnessed is history and
it's you know, a situation that I never thought would happen.

(02:57):
If you go back a little ways, I never thought
Hamas would surrender and release the remaining twenty hostages live.
And then you take a look at the signing of
the peace accord in Egypt that ratified the Israeli Hamas
piece Deel yesterday. I never thought we would see the

(03:18):
coming together of so many varied countries and leaders of
varied interest like we did yesterday. It's never been seen.
You take a look at what happened, the people that
came together. It's something that I prayed for. I mean,
like literally, something I would pray for every night, piece
between Israel and Hamas peace in the Middle East, just

(03:39):
as I continue to do for Russia and for Ukraine.
You take a look at what happened here, you'll hear
often you know, hey, it's over twenty countries that came
together yesterday. Now it was actually thirty five in total.
And I think it's important to name names. I think

(04:01):
it's important for you to hear the different countries that
were on hand and that participated in this peace accord,
many of which are going to be important to maintaining
the pieces well going forward. Algeria Bahrain, Bangladesh, Canada, Egypt, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritania, Morocco, Netherlands, Nigeria, Norway, Oman, Pakistan,

(04:41):
Palestinian Authority, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Somalia, Spain, Sudan, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey,
United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and of course the United States.

(05:03):
We've never seen so many countries with so many varied interests,
so many varied constituents, that have come together under a
common cause of peace. You know, some people might point
towards certainly NATO is nowhere near as diverse and well
the UN, well, the UN is never on the same
page about anything. So yesterday was truly a historic day.

(05:28):
And the point together of those countries, I mean that
is from a point of unity, unbelievable. It's really encouraging.
And when I said that, I never thought it would happen.
I never thought it would happen until June twenty second.
It was June twenty second that my mindset on a

(05:49):
lot of things change about the view of the possible.
And it's for that reason that the next day, June
twenty third of my Top three Takeaways framed it under
this heading, the President Trump dropped the mops and the
world is on the brink of unprecedented peace. As I

(06:10):
mentioned on that day, when you had President Trump go
full gap band on Iran dropping the bombs, it might
it seemed to odd that that would bring about unprecedented peace,
and just the kind of the conversation of it, as
you've taken on what had been going on with the
Israel and Hamas, Ukraine and Russia, and now you had

(06:34):
the United States officially entering the Israel Iran war, having
successfully deployed the most destructive non nuclear bombs on the planet.
Might it seemed to odd that particular mourning I'd be
talking about unprecedented peace in that moment. The reason I
thought that was the case, And as I mentioned to you, then,
based on the precision of the attack, the limited nature

(06:56):
of the attack, the perceived success of it, that was
exactly what we into de scene. So it is quite
clear that the world's leading sponsor of terror, Iran, had
been neutered. The President said that day that Iran's keen
nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated. And
as you'll recall, there are a bunch of people are like, no,

(07:17):
it wasn't just so much nonsense, right, And as we've
seen in the months since, he knows how the whole
conversation went away. All those who are called experts and
other pennheads just disappeared because Iran is not a nuclear threat.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
It was successful.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
But anyway, for decades, US president's leaders from around the
world said Iran could never have a nuclear weapon, right,
But all along Iran just kind of played games to
continue to develop their nuclear programs.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
And what did that do? Well?

Speaker 1 (07:48):
It made their terror proxies that much more dangerous. But
it was within a matter of minutes with the deployment
of those mop bombs, it all ended. And I mentioned
that the world was a safer place that day because
Iran's nuclear program was done, but also because Donald Trump
is President of the United States.

Speaker 4 (08:09):
But the momentous breakthrough that we're here to celebrate tonight
is more than the end of the war in Gaza.
It's with God's help, it'll be the new beginning for
an entire beautiful Middle East.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
Yeah. So, during the Biden administration, I would regularly say
that every day Joe Biden was President of the United States,
the world was less safe.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
I means rearly this country.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
Was the flooding of illegal immigrants into this country, all
the massive increase in crime that we saw resulting from
all of it, the breaking out of wars around the world.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
Because of the weakness of the United States and the
world stage.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
But every day that Donald Trump has been President of
the United States, the world has proved to be a
safer place, starting with our country. So on Monday, in
an interview with Fox News, President Trump had this to
say about the ability to reach yesterday's peace agreement. He said,
I really think it all started when we took out

(09:07):
the nuclear capability of Iran. When you look at what
they had, you couldn't have made this deal with someone
sitting over there with a nuclear weapon over your head, right.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
So that.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
Was why I brought you all this stuff about Iran,
and why, thinking all the way back, I said, you
know what's going to come out of this is unprecedented.
Piece will My instincts of my analysis were not wrong.
So I like to say if I.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
Made a career out of being wrong.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
I finished my takeaways in June twenty third by saying
all of it points towards the need and the ability
for unprecedented peace. Because just as Truman dropped the bombs
on Hiroshima and Nagasaki ending World War Two, dropping the
mops and destroying Torn's nuclear capabilities became the key to

(09:54):
Middle East piece. As the world's largest state sponsor of terror,
it was unlikely that Hamas would have been agreeable to
peace and to go away from governance. If Iran we're
still backing them with nuclear capabilities. So what President Trump
has done in a matter of months, it isn't just
brokering eight different piece deals with sixteen different countries. President

(10:15):
Trump has prevented World War III while simultaneously bringing peace
to the Middle East, which, by the way here at
home demonstrates that it is in fact. My third takeaway
for today Democrats who are divisive and petty. Oh yeah,
remember the partial government shutdown. Fox's Ryan Smells on day

(10:37):
fourteen of the government shutdown. Both sides remain dug in.
Republicans have put a stopgap measure to reopen the government
on the floor several times, but it's failed to get
sixty votes to break the Senate filibuster.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
Unfortunately, they've made the decision to take in my way
or the highway approach. House Minority Leader Hakim Jeffries and
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer are calling on Republicans to negotiate.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
I mean, it's pretty comical at this point, isn't it.
So you had day after day Democrats just voting not
to continue to fund the government at the levels that
the law called for it. They want their goodies, they want,
you know, spend money on healthcare. We can't afford for
laws they had already passed and agreed to for covid

(11:21):
era benefits that they want to keep in place permanently.
I mean, it's just insane. So how petty does that
all seem today in the wake of what we've seen.
How incredibly petty. But beyond that, you take a look
at how all those thirty five different countries that many

(11:42):
of which have absolutely nothing in common other than being
humans on this planet, coming together because President Trump brought
them together. And this is what we've got in this country,
all these TDS riddled Democrats that exist from your city

(12:04):
Council to Washington, DC. And they say that he's as
divisive as can be. They say he's the diviner. They
just stand in opposition to him any way they possibly can,
including going through this partial government shutdown now for two weeks,
which again illustrates a couple of points. I'd done this
somewhat regularly during the partial shutdown. Have you noticed anything

(12:27):
if it weren't in the news, would you have the
first clue that thirty four percent of the federal government
over a third has been gone, has been shut down,
and that you haven't says everything you need to know
about how much we need it, how much government can
be cut without people even feeling it. It is obviously

(12:50):
time to dismantle and permanently disband the federal government.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
Blow.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
But the other piece of this is it's now crystal
clear for the entire world, not just this country, not
just anybody who actually has their eyes open, but the
entire world to see the true identity of what is
a divisive, hate filled and dangerous party in this country,
which is exactly what the Democrat Party is. They are

(13:16):
a divisive, hate filled, dangerous party. And how petty do
those elected miscreants look today? Compare it against the world's
great uniter. And speaking of petty and divisive today happens

(13:37):
to be Charlie kirkday. You know a Senator Rick Scott
ended up getting recognized in the United States Senate. You're
going to have President Trump or Charlie Kirk with the
Presidential Medal of Freedom posthumously.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
Congress back in session.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
Will there be any additional Democrats that decide to do
the right thing, Any that will recognize Charlie Kirk for
his heroic quirk and his great work. Will there be
any that peel off and decide to break with their divisive,
hatefield dangerous party to end the personal government shutdown? Or

(14:13):
is TDS going to continue to win the day, which
will just make the situation, I think more obvious by
the day.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
I'm Chad Pergrim with the Speaker's luck.

Speaker 5 (14:27):
The historic Middle East peace deal and the release of
the remaining living hostages from Gaza has seemingly quieted the
loudest progressive voices in Congress. Democratic Michigan Representative Rashida tulieb
who is Palestinian, New York Democrat Alexandria Ocassio Cortez and
Minnesota Representative Ilan Omar have demanded a quote ceasefire now
for two years but now that the fighting is ending,

(14:47):
there have been scant comments from these lawmakers. Democratic Pennsylvania
Senator John Fetterman is one of the most ardent voices
for Israel and the Democratic Party. He also applauded President
Trump for working out a package, but Fetterman went in
wagy in on why his colleagues are afraid to praise
President Trump for the deal. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer
is the highest ranking Jewish official in American history. He
offered more praise for the deal than some of his

(15:08):
Democratic colleagues. Schumer said, quote, the work is not over,
but any step to end this nightmare is one that
should be celebrated. Independent fromout Senator Bernie Sanders says that
Israel quote must abandon its current extremist course and move
toward a genuine two state solutions with the Speaker's lobby.
