Speaker 1 (00:04):
Two sides to the story. There's only one side to
the facts. Welcome to the Brian Mud Show and thank
you for listening. As we take a look at better
registration updates and key Florida counties. Earlier this week, I
brought you the record information for Republicans yet again in
the state of Florida that entering November, according to the
Florida Division of Elections, there were now greater than one

(00:26):
point four million more registered Republicans than Democrats in this state.
And the big story as Florida has continued its right
word turn has come not so much from Republicans running
up the score in red counties, so that continues to happen,
but the biggest moves have been in the formerly big
blue counties, including Miami Dade, which has flipped to a

(00:48):
Republican majority of that happened in May of this year
and just has continued towards the right, and also Hillsboro
among others. And as we take a look around some
of the counties that I track for you monthly, taking
a look at Palm Beach County. At the peak of
the Democrat advantage of Palm Beach County, Democrats had an
edge of one hundred and thirty eight thousand, four hundred voters.

(01:10):
That is now down to fewer than fifteen thousand, five hundred.
Republicans have netted about eleven hundred and fifty voters over
the past month in Palm Beach County, still a chance
it flips before next year's midterms. So we take a
look towards a county that is perhaps the next most
likely to flip, du Vall, where Jacksonville is. The Republicans

(01:32):
netted another five hundred plus voters there. The advantage for
Democrats is now down to just over forty six hundred
voters in Duvall, and that could change quickly. Hillsboro that
flipped earlier this year, Republicans now have a total advantage
there of over nineteen thousand voters. Miami Day that flipped
earlier this year, the advantage of Republicans now about forty

(01:52):
one thousand voters. So again, it's not just that Republicans
ended up flipping the counties. They've continued to really tack
onto those margins as the year has gone along. We
continue to see gains in Indian River County and Martin
as well, and then Aziola. Aciola the Democrat advantage is
now down to only about twelve thousand voters there as
Republicans made gains again, So every single county that I

(02:16):
continue to track that we take a look at month
by month, Republicans continue to fear better than Democrats in
this off election year, which, as I've illustrated in prior cycles,
often can be key to seeing how things are going
to play out in the following elections As we head
towards next year's midterms. This is a pretty significant trend
line that continues in the state of Florida.
