Speaker 1 (00:04):
Welcome to the Brian Mud Show. Thanks for listening. Passion
plus talent is unstoppable. It's time for today's Top three takeaways.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Let's talk about what you should do as the BBB
is already saving you huge money and uh oh yeah
the America Party. Talk about my top three takeaways where
you helpe. You had a wonderful Independence Day weekend? How
about you, Joel? It was good, it was good, excellent.
I'm trying to think of what I did.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Yeah, yeah, we we went to a we went to
a thing in Martin County, Okay, and uh, just a
little drizzle. I expected it to be like a wash out.
That was what like the forecast seemed like.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
But yeah, no, and actually yah it held by us too,
and in fact there were a couple that were delayed.
The way it worked out was actually someone interesting. We
just uh we went out back to to the dog
And one of the things that is kind of cool
from our vantage point is you can see that if
fire were displays of four locales, so we can see
not just to our South Lana and Boytant Beach and

(01:08):
to our North Lakeworth Beach in Westpon Beach because of
like a saggerine and delaying of them. I don't think
it was planned this way between the municipalities, but actually
worked out for like an hour and a half straight
that at least one of those shows was going. So
we just we have, you know, seats that are affixed
on the dock, but different positions, and so we just
adjust our seats with their cool.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Yeah, they worked out pretty nicely.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
So anyway, top takeaway for you today, the second most
efficient president in US history.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
I'm curious, shul what you have ever guessed.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
That Trump at this point be the second most efficient
president in US history.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Yeah, that I would okay, it's it's whose number one
that Okay, I wouldn't have guessed.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
All right, so let's start with let's start with this
might takeaways today.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Country is more proud right now that it's been in many,
many years.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
We have pride now, the dignity.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
We have something that's happened miraculously so fast, which, by
the way.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
I think is why he faught it up with dignity,
because so.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Happening so fast that, of course, right before he signed
the BBB on Friday, on Independence Day, he was talking
about the speed with which this has happened. Here's information
that I'm rather certain you're not going to get anywhere
else today, in part because just the way my mind works.
So I've taken a look at all this and I
started analyzing, and I'm like, yep, second most sufficient president

(02:39):
in US history. So Friday's Independence Day was unlike any
other in American history. And that is because the BBB
was delivered to President Trump, allowing him to effectively accomplish
his second term agenda and fewer than six months on
the job. I mean, I remember, he didn't even have
his signature legislation, his signature tax cuts signed until December

(03:01):
the first go round. And here we are pretty much
the entire agenda achieved at this point. So Trump has
been president for one hundred and sixty seven days now.
During that time, he assigned one hundred and sixty sixty
six executive orders, forty four presidential memoranda, seventy one presidential proclamations,
and now five laws, including of course, the Act formerly

(03:23):
known as the BBB, central to President Trump's Independence Day festivities.
And to put this one into context, the only other
president in American history to enact more of his agenda
more efficiently than President Trump was FDR.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
This is the one that Joel was surprised with. I
think it was a reference sing.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
I was thinking Reagan because I know he was a
very successful president.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Right well, I mean the big difference there is you
got to think, hold on, if I'm enacting Mayan jenda,
how has that happen? And certainly Democrats when Reagan came
into to Bauer, we're not looking to help him. The
most mark think about Reagan, you know, going down that
path is that Democrats controlled Congress for his entire eight years,
and so he was able to achieve what he was

(04:08):
able to do. And that's part of the reason he
uses great communication skills to go directly to the American people,
because if he just uses great communications skills behind the
scenes of Democrats weren't a bit as effective. They were
not looking to give him all of his wins. And
so he would bring the case to the American people.
And then even you know a lot of Democrat and
that's where you have the whole thing about Reagan. Democrats.

(04:30):
You know, that became a thing during that era and
all part of the Reagan Revolution in time. But now
and in this case, to go quickly you've got to
have a party that is going to be with you,
and FDR absolutely had that. So he came to power
during the Great Depression and the New Deal. The New Deal,
of course his signatorial legislation. He had that pass within

(04:51):
the first week as president, and he issued a sleu
of executive actions around it as well within his first
one hundred days. Other than FDR new President, not even
Washington has worked as quickly or as efficiently to achieve
their policies. And it's even more remarkable when you consider
that the current Congress, the one hundred and nineteenth, has
established the narrowst governing majority by a single party in

(05:14):
US history. Okay, so just to explain that real quick,
when you have one party in control of Congress and
the presidency, this is the narrowst that there's been that
single party majority. By way of comparison, FDR when he
became president, Democrats occupied seventy percent of the congressional seats.

(05:38):
Seventy he had. That's why I win just so incredibly quickly.
I'm like, yeah, we'll give you everything you want. So
what we've seen culminating with the signing of the BBB
hasn't just been history in the making, but arguably the
most effective start to a presidency in American history given
the political makeup in Washington, DC.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Remarkable stuff.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
My second takeaway for you today, the BBB already saving
you money.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Here's how, Speaker Mike Johnson.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
We extended it, but we added all sorts of other
features pro growth policies to really have jet fuel to
the US economy.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
And everyone will be experiencing that before the midterms.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
And so about now, there's a good chance you're wondering
what exactly the BBB means to you and how the
tax benefits will apply to you. One of those answers
is easy, the other may require your tax prepared to
accurately be able to answer. In today's Q and A,
I'm going to walk you through what the BBB means
to you in broad terms and a few of the
key categories of interest. But all in there's so much

(06:38):
more to this than you probably have heard about. They're
by my account, twenty seven different categories of IRS things
that impact personal taxes. In other words, the changes will
impact pretty much everybody who files taxes, and in almost
every case we're talking about lower taxes almost certainly means

(07:01):
lower taxes for you.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Better.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Still, almost all of the tax changes were made retroactive
to January first of this year, meaning you've already been
saving money on your taxes throughout the year, you just
haven't realized the benefit of that yet. So the key
to understanding the additional Trump tax cuts on tips, overtime,
social Security, auto loans, child tax credits, you name it
is understanding what the new deductions and tax credits mean

(07:26):
to you. This is why it might need a tax
pro probably do to really know how much dough that
you're going to be going out to Uncle Sam, but
it's not something that shall likely wait until you file
your taxes next tax day. The way for you to
be able to benefit immediately from the tax savings that
you'll see in the BBB is to adjust your federal

(07:48):
withholding levels quickly. So, due to the additional tax savings
mostly coming in the form of deductions and tax credits,
you're not just automatically going to have more money show
up in your paycheck because there's less tax withheld. But
what you can do you have a conversation with your
tax prepare, get an idea of how much you're you

(08:08):
stand to safe and then adjust your federal withholding levels accordingly,
so you have less federal income tax being taken out
of every paycheck, and that way you get a benefit
all throughout the year and you won't wait to have
an interest free loan from the IRS come back to
you once.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
You file all your taxes. And do you have a feeling.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
It's probably how most people are going to figure out
what this means to them, but not the best way
to go about it. You can get more money right
away for most people. It you know, the waiting is
you know, a form a strategy, whatever else. But if
you want to be savvy with your money, taking even
just a little time today to try to figure this
out could be could certainly be benefit you potentially as

(08:49):
soon as next next payday, or however long takes for
your company to make those types of adjustments. Third takeaway
today the America Party, the America Party. President Trump talking
about the America Party, I.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
Think it's ridiculous to side of third party.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
We have a tremendous success with the Republican Party. The
Democrats have lost their way, but it's always been a
two party system.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
Are you excited about the American Party? Joel Oh yeah.

Speaker 3 (09:19):
Loads, I'm just yeah, I can't wait for them to
siphon votes next year from the Republicans. Okay, I mean
the Democrats still think he's the devil, right, Elon.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
I'm sure they no longer do Oh sure?

Speaker 2 (09:34):
I know. Yeah, what you're going to do something that
might hurt Republicans.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
We love you again, mister Musk.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
No, you're going to see a lot of favorable coverage
of the American Party. Just wait because that is going
to be the calculations that's going to hurt Republicans the
most and therefore your gauntless soul since Leonard's news, but
he will be all about it and Elon Musk will
be back in Vogue Vogue, as Elon Musk had effectively
promised with the passage of the BBB, He's created a

(10:05):
new political party, at least in theory he said he did.
I mean, I don't know that, but he does have
the money and just kind of will these things into
existence if he does go ahead and put the money
behind him. So the new political party known as the
America Party. And it's pretty interesting dynamic if you think
about it, because here is a South African immigrant seeking
to revolutionize our two party system in this country and.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
Any of it.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
Elon spent the weekend talking up and reposting comments from
others on what his newly established America Party seeks to do.
One is to target venerable congressional seats to attempt to
establish a block of swing votes starting in the next congress.
He established a baseline that it's his goal in time

(10:49):
for the Democrat Party to become the third party choice.
In other words, he was like, hey, you know, I'm
looking to disrupt the system, but my preference would be
where the like kind of the two primary parties would
be the American Party and Republicans.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
Would Democrats be the outlier.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
Now the platform, he endorses this to reduce debt, responsible spending,
only modernize the military with AI and robotics, pro tech,
accelerate to win an AI less regulation across the board,
but especially in energy, free speech, pro nationalist, centrist policies

(11:28):
everywhere else.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
Definitely does not sound like the Democrat Party. No, no,
not at all.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
I mean there is a lot there that I think
for a lot of people that are on the right
to go yeah, you know, it sounds pretty good. So
he also indicated that pulling this off is going to
be easier than most people think. I mean, that's always
the thing about third parties is like, okay, you know,
the good in theory never really gain a whole lot
of traction. Now he said this will be easier than

(11:56):
most people think, and part of the context of him
making that comment was a reminder. You reposted a reminder
about what people previously said he couldn't do, including Tesla
will never succeed, Elon can't start a space company, neuralink

(12:17):
will never work, SpaceX will never reuse a rocket, Elon
can't run a social media company. This is the one
that is like what just happened here kind of territory.
SpaceX won't occupy Mars. They right there bends up kind
of like clandestine occupation of Mars. Since Elon's been running,

(12:42):
maybe he really isn't from around here.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
I mean, what what was that?

Speaker 2 (12:47):
I mean, just as an aside, but that was, and
then Tesla won't solve autonomy, and last but not least,
now he adds Elon can't do politics. So look, I mean,
it's pretty compelling, right point made. By the way, For
the record, the whole neuraling thing still freaks me. Out
in a potentially biblical way, and I still hold out

(13:09):
like that one percent chance that you know, Elon really
is like the anti Christ or something. But otherwise, awfully
good point being made by Elon here, because if anybody
can pull this off, probably him. Next year's election cycle
might be one of the more interesting we've seen in
the midterm election, So stand by for the news
