I am Sherry Mackie.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
It is time for us to go to God in prayer,
and as always I ask that you join along with
me in prayer. My aunt Lulah Miller sends out a
prayer for the family every morning in a scripture, and
on Friday she sent out Jane's one in twelve, where
it says, bless is the one who perseveres under trial,

(00:22):
because having stood the tests, the person will receive the
crown of life that the Lord has promised to those
that love him. I want to pray for that heavenly Father,
in the name of Jesus. We come before you with
hearts bowed yet lifted by your word, which gives life,
hope and strength to the weary Lord. You see the

(00:43):
battles we face, some silent, some screaming, but all very real.
In the middle of the storm, you are still God.
In the middle of the tests, you are still faithful Lord.
Today we hold fast to your promise. In James one twelve,
you said, blessed is the one who perseveres under trial.

God, help us to be the one when.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Life is hard and the precious amount, when the tears
fall in secret and the answers don't come quickly. Teach
us to persevere, not with pride or self reliance, but
with eyes locked on You, the author and the finisher
of our faith. We acknowledge our weakness, we also embrace
God your strength. You said that those who stand the

test will receive the crown of life. Not just any life, God,
but you said eternal, abundant, victorious life.

In you.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Remind us God that the struggle is not the end
of the story. The pain is not pointless. That you
are shaping us, You're refining us. You're preparing us for
something that far out weighs what we can see. Right now, God,
when the fire comes, let it purify and not destroy it.
When the burdens feel unbearable, God, be the lift of

our hands. When we feel forgotten and unseen, whisper.

Again that we are chosen by you.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Lord.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
We love you, not just for the crown.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
You promise, but because you first loved us. You walk
the road of suffering and overcame, and now you walk
with us in our lives every single day, in every situation.
Give us holy endurance, God and an unshakable peace that
goes beyond our human understanding of praise that lives.

Even God.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
In the midnight hour, when we feel all alone.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
God, we will not give up. God, we will not
turn back.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
By your spirit, God, we will indure. We will trust
you even when we can't trace you. God. When the
trial passes, and it will, God, we will stand. We
will not be broken, but we will be blessed, crown
not by man but the hands of the King of Kings,
