I am Sherry mackew. It's time for us to go
to God in prayer, and as always I ask that
you joined along with me in prayer. You know, one
of the prayers that I pray to God is Lord,
show me my heart. I want to heart this peer
and perfect toward you, because the reality is, we can
deceive a lot of people. We know how to turn
on the church girl. Oh, I'm blessed in highly favorite

kicking glory Klaus. We know how to put on that
face if you will, and sometimes we'll even deceive ourselves
into thinking we're holier than that or we're doing well.
But here's the thing. God judges the purposes and the
entents of the heart, and I want my heart to
be perfect and peer toward him. Heavenly Father and the

name of Jesus Christ. We come before you today with
a heart's desire to truly please you. You call David
a man after your own heart, and we all know
that he was a man that made many mistakes, just
like we have. You see everything. You know everything, so God,
you see us as we are naked and unhidden. We

can't pretend with you you know everything. Anyway, You search
our inward person, and yet you still love us. So
we ask humbly and boldly, God, show us our hearts
so we can deal with anything that's not pleasing to you.
Reveal us buried, God, shine your holy life on the
thoughts that we avoid, the motives we disguise, and the

idols that we try to defend. Let nothing God be
hidden that needs to be healed. God, we don't want
to go another day deceiving ourselves or anybody else, not
by sin, not by pride, not by fear. We want
truth in our hearts. We want to be real with
you God. If there's anger, God show it. If there's LUs,
God uncovered. If there's unforgiveness, if there's pride, If there's

jealousy or even apathy, Lord, name it so we can
deal with it. Break our hear hearts for what breaks yours. Yet,
as you reveal, Father, please don't leave us in our shame.
You are a God of mercy, slow to anger, abounding
in steadfast love. So search us, yes, but also heal
us in every area of our lives that needs to

be healed. Cleanse us, God, purify us, make us hold,
creating us God a clean heart and renew a right
spirit within us. Let our hearts not be divided between
you and the world. Teach us to love you with
all of our hearts, all of our souls, all of
our strength. Let us not be content with outward obedience. God,

we want inward purity. We don't want to simply do
what's right. God. We want to become who you delight in.
We want to be people after your own heart. Let
our thoughts. Let our dreams, our affections, and our secret
desires all be aligned with your will for our lives. God,
we want a heart that pleases you, a heart tender

(03:01):
and teachable, a heart that breaks for the loss, a
heart that tramples at your word, a heart that overflows
with worship even God, in the wilderness of our lives.
Remove the stony places. God, give us hearts of flesh,
a heart perfected not by our efforts, but by your
spirit working in us. God, make us vessels of your love,

of your truth and your power. Jesus, you gave your
whole heart for us on the cross. Help us now
to give our whole hearts to you. And when you've
tried us, refined us and broken us, God, let us
come forth as gold, per radiant, and holly, Yours God,
in the name of Jesus
