Acts twenty eighty five, says in the New Living Translation,
Paul shook off the snake into the fire and was unharmed.
When the apostle Paul survived being shipwreck and would safe
on the shores of the island of Malta, a poisonous
snake bit him on the hand, y'all. The natives who
saw it happen, they knew that it was only a

matter of time before he would swell up and suddenly
drop dead. But Paul simply shook off the snake and
went on with his business unharmed. Now, from a logical
human point of view, he should have been scared, y'all,
But he already had a promise from God that he
would make it to roam and stand before Caesar. He

knew that nothing could snatch him from God's purpose for
his life.

Over analyze our problems, when we try to reason things
out and look at our circumstances and take our focus
off Christ, y'all, it hinders our faith. That's why the
scripture says, lean not to your own understanding. Take this
in the right sense, Take this in the right sense.
But sometimes you got to turn off your mind, in

other words, your natural mind. You've got to have a
spiritual mind. You gotta think spiritually. Faith is not of
the mind. Faith is of the heart. Let me re real,
real clear, let me be perfectly clear. We've got to
use common sense, y'all, and make good decisions. Now, Paul
didn't go searching for a snake. He wasn't trying to

prove how spiritually he was by handling his snake. No, no, no,
that's foolishness. The snake bit him and that was a
distraction on his way to purpose, and he didn't.

Let that deter him.

He kept his eyes focused on Jesus and what his
promise was from the Father. So don't let your logic
talk you out of what God put in your heart.

Then, no matter what the problem or obstacle in our lives,
it will not stop your purpose or your planing for
our lives. Thank You that we're not limited to leaning
on our own understanding. More abilities, God We believe that
you always have the final saying that what you have
purposed is on the way in our lives in Jesus' name.
