Speaker 1 (00:01):
Yeah, here we go. It is that time on iHeartRadio
where we do have to chase down Florida man and
or Florida woman and follow all their exploits. We do
it every day in this it's called WTF and that
stands for what No Florid Dude. We go first to

(00:26):
a Florida man. He was caught driving the wrong way
into oncoming traffic on the highway. His name is Christopher Johnson.
He's forty four years old. He's now facing charges of
DUI and also driving without a license because they was

(00:47):
surprised there. I feel like most people in Florida don't
have a driver's license, and if they do, they certainly
don't have car insurance right insurance? Right? Yes. According to this,
there was a reckless drive that was reported and they're like, well,
how is he driving recklessly? What makes you say that?
They're like, well, it's because he's on the wrong side
of the highway driving into oncoming traffic. Yeah, I don't know.

(01:11):
He was swerving all over the road, crossing lanes, almost
hitting other vehicles. According to this, the officer soon spotted
the car and that is when he put on the
lights and the Sirene pulled the man over, and the
man was identified as forty four year old Christopher Johnson.
He showed quote heavy signs of impairment. They say he

(01:31):
couldn't stand on his own. Ah. They did observe open
containers of alcohol inside the vehicle without being able to
stand by himself. They did get a breast sample though.
He blew a point two four five, which is just
under three times the legal actually just over three times
the legal limit. Yeah, so he was three times the

(01:52):
legal limit. And the footage the officer is telling him
to keep an eye he says, keep an eye on
my finger, right. According to this, he goes, yeah, that's
something I've always had a problem with. Really, he eye
on something. Yeah, look at the drive it so uh
they he said, sir, we we do believe you're impaired. Uh,

(02:14):
mister Johnson, he admitted to drinking earlier in the night.
And by the way, it turned out that he does
have prior convictions for DUI. He also doesn't have Yeah,
his car was towed from the scene. See, yeah, he
couldn't drive it. He's a mess, he is. He messed up.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
He was supposed to dine to dine, and I no
I didn't drink. Yeah, no, right, no, somebody poisoned me, right,
and I can't stand on my own because you know,
football injury exactly.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Yeah, my wheelchair I left at home. Something threw me
and it's about to rain my knees playing up exactly. Good,
that's good the flare see. That's smart. Acts like you've
been here before, Chris, exactly do you why come up
with come? Then? You don't deserve a drink. Yeah, that's true.
You don't deserve to drive either, and you certainly don't
deserve to drink and drive, right. That is that is

(03:05):
reserved for the special of us. Yeah, okay, the ones
that know how to do it, responsible people like you,
like me and Nicole. Right, that's who drinking and driving is. Yeah,
we go next to a Florida man. Uh oh, this
is a different story than the one that I thought
it just was.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
It's a positive story, right.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
This one's a little bit different.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
We don't like to share the positive Florida.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Yeah, that one, that one was not not the one
that I thought that it was.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
I want to feel good about ourselves. Yeah, we share
the terrible love stories. It makes us feel better. Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
I'm glad it wasn't a sort of me there we go,
like this one, like the Florida man that's now accused
of beating up a bus driver. There we go, that's
more like it. Yeah. Yeah, for a say, we're like,
wait a minute, good news, we're not having that.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
We don't want that.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
It fooled me. They'd had a foolish head. I clicked
on it and it was a feel good story. Nobody
wants that in the state of Florida. We want this one.
We want the guy that assaulted a bus driver on
Tuesday of last week. Yeah, that's what we want, they say. Now,
here's the other thing. The guy not only battered a
bus driver while the bus was moving. Oh, that is

(04:18):
a very foolish endeavor. I mean, that person is driving
a vehicle at speed down the road and you're gonna
try to attack that person.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
You know, there's no seatbelts in that bus.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
He's not a one hanging for the last holding on.
Everybody is just nobody wants to be on that thing.
You know, there's a smell on there that nobody can identify. Wait,
where's this bus? You know there's a bus here in Florida.
Oh my god, Unfortunately they're all over the place. Yeah,
they say that this man who, by the way, got away.

(04:48):
He beat up the bus driver and then jumped off
the bus and took off. The guy was wearing a
black shirt with pink stripes. Well, he could have changed
that shirt by now, hopefully he did. They say that
he had a slight beard and he was also wearing Crocs.
He got away with Crocs. Damn, he was in sport mode.
He was in sport mode. I had to be in
sport mode. Yeah, exactly, took off. Yeah, he's a sponsor

(05:11):
there for Crocs. No, boy, it sure is. And if anything,
you could beat up a bus driver and still make
a clean getaway. Yeah, there you go Crocs. They knew
it was cross Hill now at Journeys.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Yeah, one of his buttons cross exactly.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
They identified him by it, right, turns out it was
a gun. We go lastly to a Florida man. Yes,
oh yeah. He was arrested after a FedEx delivery mix up.
So he gets the wrong package sent to his house.
He opens it up and decides, you know what, I

(05:47):
kind of like what's inside, So I think I'm just
gonna keep it. Well, he got arrested for that. Oh,
mostly because this FedEx delivery mix up handed this guy
a twenty two dollars Rolex he did not ordered or
paid for. It was just a simple delivery mix up.
And this guy got it at his house, opened it up,
and he's like, yeah, this is my Rolex now. Uh.

(06:10):
He also pawned it for ten grand. But they did
finally track it down, right okay, I mean if he.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Held it for a couple of days, because after a
couple of hours, you know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (06:19):
Yeah, then net right yours? No, no fact, he he
went and pawned it right away for ten grand. According
to this a luxury Rolex worth twenty two to five
was mistakenly delivered to the wrong address and the man
who signed for it ended up pawning it for ten
thousand dollars. This head that his name is Venisius Feehole.
He is twenty five years old. He confessed to signing

(06:42):
for the package, He opened it and then he he
pawned it. The Rolex. The is a Rolex GMT Master
PEPSI model was bought by a different man and then
it was shipped overnight to what the victim thought was
the current business address. Instead, FedEx delivered to a former
location and that's where this guy was, this pile by

(07:02):
the name of Venetius who goes by the name of Vinnie.
According to this, the victim realized the error, and then
they visited the address to say, hey, Vinnie, I know
that this package came here. What's with And uh Vinnie said, uh, well,
I pawned it. I pawned it, Vinnie, You fool, VINNI

(07:23):
you're an idiot. You should have held onto it for
a little bit.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Yeah, exactly, good God right, you messed up big time.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
Yeah. Well, they tracked the rolex down to the pawn
shop that Vinnie said that he pawned at. And anyway,
since it is over twenty thousand dollars, this is a felony.
It's a grand theft. Yeah, stept o for a thousand.
Oh yeah, So Vinnie is going to the can for
a little while. But there it is. He'll be getting
a roll of toilet paper, that's right, not a rolex,

(07:54):
a roll of toilet paper. Not good toilet paper either.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
One just yeah, not the Sharmans or something.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
But the good news is they'll give you a cheese sandwich.
You know what, I mean, so that kind of makes
up for Vinnie.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
You'll be okay, which the Wonder Breath.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
That was a lot of fun. Yeah, I mean yeah,
we got you exactly busted, Vinnie. We'll do it again
every morning at seven thirty and nine thirty. Remember to
listen to this in podcast Born. There are so many
episodes on iHeartRadio right now, all between five and seven
minutes long, so they're very bite sized and bingeable. Go

(08:31):

prove one thing, Nicole tell me, never ever, ever send

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
