Speaker 1 (00:01):
W r k O presens Boston's only nightly sports betting show,
The Gambler with Adam Kaufman, Now from nine till midnight,
your home to talk spreads, props, totals and more.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Hey Doc, And what's the harm of bringing back a
little info in the future.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Now, maybe we could place a.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Couple of baths.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
The Gambler starts.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Now, all I have to do.

Speaker 4 (00:23):
Is bet on the winner and I'll never lose.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Kears, Adam Kaufman, Dan Brian.

Speaker 5 (00:33):
We screwed up, we screwed up. Celtics right now are
absolutely well, I don't want to say pummeling. The Blazers
threw up by eleven two and a half to go,
So if you did invest in them to cover the
eighty half, that's all sweaty right now. Felt honestly like

(00:55):
Portland was the right side to be on. Sort of
touched on that a little bit last night, even though I.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Being the homer that I am, I decided, Ah, I'm
just gonna I'm gonna lay it with the Celtics. Let's
just see what happens.

Speaker 5 (01:06):
I didn't put a lot on it, but let's I
just want I want to be on that side. But
that's not where we screwed up. We screwed up because
the Celtics don't have Jason Tatum, Chris DAPs Porzingis drew Holiday,
those being the most important. Jaylen Brown got ruled in,

(01:28):
Derek White ruled in, Peyton Pritchard ruled in. All these
guys that were questionable ruled in. Really, with the exception
of Tatum, we knew the other two weren't gonna play.
And what generally happens when the Celtics are down half
of their top six guys rise up.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
They rise up.

Speaker 5 (01:48):
And for anyone that thought, hey, it's gonna be a
Jaylen Brown Knight, he's kind of tried to make it
a Jaylen Brown Knight. Eighteen points but on seven of
twenty two shooting, and he has been half hacked just
about every time he's touched the ball. We messed up
because Derek White has thirty nine points his total, His

(02:11):
line going into this game was, I want to say
nineteen and a half. Peyton Pritchard has.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Forty one points.

Speaker 5 (02:19):
He's hit ten three pointers off the bench, He's played
forty minutes. He's played more than any other player in
this game by a decent margin two.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
His prop line.

Speaker 5 (02:31):
I don't even know what it was, but I'm sure
it was in the teens. It just we've talked about
this on the show. I'm disappointed in us because usually
when there's no Tatum or there's no Brown, and especially
when there's no holiday or Porzingis, it's almost an auto
play to invest in White and or Prichard. I feel

(02:54):
like we should have invested in both. Easy to say now,
I realize, but that felt like an nice little late
ad opportunity to the action app where people can view
our place.

Speaker 6 (03:06):
I'm honestly kind of surprised that they're winning tonight. I
thought for sure they were gonna lose. I mean, we
talked about it last night, that ten and a half.
Anytime the Celtics are a double digit favorite, they just
something just isn't right there, whether they get too complacent
or whatnot.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
But sure, but yeah, the Blazers have been really good lately.

Speaker 6 (03:22):
Yeah yeah, and all the injuries obviously and everybody that's
out tonight, but yeah, those two have been nuclear. It's uh,
it's been incredible watching them basically just kind of go
back and forth against each other.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
You're White just scored again he's up to forty one.

Speaker 5 (03:37):
Now, when is the last time, And I'm sure the
answer is Tatum and Brown, But when's the last time
a pair of Celtics scored forty plus in a game?

Speaker 6 (03:47):
If it's not them, I think you're going back to
like Bird McHale because I don't remember Scarnett and Pierce
ever doing it doing no or.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Like Pearson Walker.

Speaker 7 (03:55):
Right.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
I feel like maybe it's happened one time or two
times so with Tatum and Brown, but holy goodness for
neither of them to be involved. Let's there were two
forty plus Celtics.

Speaker 6 (04:08):
According to the Celtics Stats Celtics Underscore stats on Twitter,
Peyton Pritchard and Derek White are the first pair of
NBA teammates to make at least nine three pointers in
the same game.

Speaker 5 (04:21):
White nine of sixteen, Pritchard ten of sixteen. That is
a combined nineteen of thirty two. That is outrageous. That
is absolutely outrageous. But it is looking like Portland's going
to cover the number. I just want to put that
out there. It's an eight point game right now. So again,
if you got in Boston at eight or all to

(04:42):
it down to seven and a half at something like that, then, like.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
I said, i'd be sweaty.

Speaker 5 (04:47):
But when we were talking about it last night, as
you've alluded to ten ten and a half, if you
got in Portland then and I did, I didn't want
to do it because I didn't want to get burned
like I did last time when I thought Tatum was
going to sit and then he got ruled in. But
I came very close to giving out Portland as a
show play last night just felt like the right side.

(05:10):
But to your point, I'm i as relieved as the word,
but I pleasantly.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Not surprised.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
I'm satisfied by the fact that Boston is not going
to lose this game, and really was never in any
danger of losing this game. They were up at the
end one by five, they were up at the half
by like eleven, had a great third quarter, outscored the
Blazers by nine. It's really just been this fourth quarter
when Boston is sort of collectively foot off the gas. Yeah,
and that's the whole back door cover of it all,

(05:42):
which you know, unfortunately we have some uh.

Speaker 6 (05:44):
Yeah, that's a experience with That's a theme tonight for sure.

Speaker 5 (05:48):
So as far as show plays, just a quick little
look on those Florida, which was the guest play from
Ryan Kramer SGPN. We will have one of his teammates,
line mates, Ryan McIntyre on with us to talk some
hoops college hoops. In the final hour of the program,

(06:09):
he gave out Florida plus three and a half right now,
Gators up by four with about twenty seconds left. So
looking like that one is going to be pretty sweat
free because Florida is for the most part.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
I don't know about wire to wire.

Speaker 5 (06:19):
I haven't been paying too close attention to this game,
but I think they've been leading the majority of it. Anyway,
My bank row repair is still alive very much so.
The two college legs are in Milwaukee is up by
about twenty at halftime. Only other leg is the thunder
who have not tipped off yet at Memphis. That one
gets going about twenty twenty five minutes. My official show

(06:41):
play where and I said it last night. I knew
and this doesn't mean that the BET's going to hit,
although obviously I hope it does. But I was certain
we were going to get CLV closing line value on
the Pistons minus two and a half opened at one
and a half. We invested at two and a half.
I think it's sitting four and a half right now
because it was just that with the back to back
that the Clippers were going to rule out somebody. You know,

(07:05):
there's already no Powell, so they decide to rule out Leonard.
And so we'll see this game is over an hour away,
we'll have some time to touch on it. In the
next hour. We will have Von Dale's Von Dale Zel.
I apologize if you're out there listening Von He's been
on with us once before, love texting with him, going

(07:25):
back and forth with him on Twitter, that type of
thing from NBC Sports, But I I trip over his
name every time.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
Dale Zel.

Speaker 5 (07:32):
He's doing a lot of great stuff in the NBA
and college hoops space. He'll hop on talk through some
NBA will have time to preview that late game, but
mostly look ahead to tomorrow's slate. We will also Chowdrey's choice.
By the way, Sammy Chowdrey's play is part of that game,
as well asor Thompson over two and a half assists. Sadly,
the People's parlay is dead. As we were just talking

(07:54):
about l I U got back doored. We had minus
twelve and a half one by eleven. That one was
coasting much of the game felt like it was gonna
hit and didn't. So the people's parlay plus five eighty
two should still be live, should be coming down to
my leg, and instead now we're just hoping to make
Dan a jerk. The bankroll repair for Dan. I mean,

(08:15):
I guess if you're gonna go out, may as well
go out with multiple lay.

Speaker 6 (08:18):
Completely torch it, like at this point, please right, just
like make it. Oh yeah, it's just frustrating if you
can't tell them buy how it's been, it's been very frustrating.
Providence just throwing up all over themselves at home against
a Paul.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
Yeah, that was unfortunate.

Speaker 6 (08:34):
And then they had a chance and they had a
chance to tie it. Did you see how that game ended?

Speaker 3 (08:38):
I didn't.

Speaker 5 (08:39):
I saw they were down by three with like twenty
seconds left and I was in the middle of something.

Speaker 6 (08:43):
So the kid fucked up a three pointer from mid court,
got fouled, got sent to the line, did not make
his make his free throws.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
Ugh, it was.

Speaker 6 (08:53):
It was really really annoying. And then Cincinnati losing at
home to k State too, so.

Speaker 5 (08:58):
We've joked about it, but it's it's it bears just
reminding people who are out there listening that are getting
ready to, you know, invest a decent sum of money.
As many across you know, the country are, you know,
not just within the industry. It's you know, aside from
like the Super Bowl and obviously just the NFL in general.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
I mean as popular as a.

Speaker 5 (09:25):
Casual or recreational as the word I was looking for
betting off. You know, like people love March madness. Everybody
invests in college hoops in the month of March. So
let's just all collectively get ready to you know, chastise
teenagers for missing mildry prows. Children, I mean really children.

(09:48):
I mean they can't drink legally, they can't rent cars,
you know, but until recently none of them were being paid.
Now some of them are semi professional, you know, but
it's yeah, like it's going to be deeply frustrating. Just like,
let's all just prepare ourselves for what is to come. Celtics,
by the way, just one by ten, so big if

(10:10):
you got in at Boston minus eight. Also big if
you got into Portland plus ten and a half. The
nice little middle for anyone that able to take advantage
of that Celtics victorious pick up their forty fourth win.
Huge look forward to seeing the stats. Pritchard finished at
forty three and ten rebounds. I saw, I actually saw somebody.
I didn't play it. I just sort of saw it

(10:33):
in haste, but I did not invest. I saw our
guy Bubbs, who was on with us recently invest earlier
today in Pritchard to have a double double. That was
not that he anticipated forty points obviously, and probably wasn't
anticipating the rebounds. He was probably thinking, you know, I
go out there, score seventeen points and get ten dimes.
But that was ten to one. That was plus one thousand.

(10:56):
So anyone that happened to jump in on Peyton Pritchard
a double double, good on you.

Speaker 3 (11:01):
He got there.

Speaker 5 (11:02):
If he lighted up his points to infinity, you know,
there's no way you could have found a Pritchard forty
plus points out there. But huge game. So I yeah,
that Celtics stats Twitter account is, if it hasn't already,
is bound to have something on the last Celtics teammates
to each score forty plus. Florida just got home five
point win at Alabama. I got burned yesterday on Auburn

(11:27):
as we talked about versus Texas Tech. So I sat
out this particular FanDuel boost on Florida and in Alabama,
and you know, wouldn't you know, like, of course, I'm
kicking myself now because Florida. I mean, whether you'd went
money line or just to take the points. Got that
one home, Ryan Kramer, So good on you. Hopefully people

(11:49):
used that boost and took advantage of that opportunity. But
we get a ton a ton coming for you here
on this show. As I mentioned McIntyre final college hoops
and we're we're in that time now. This is the
exciting you know, conference attorneys are underway. Others still have
to get going. We will have Vaughn on for NBA

(12:11):
Talk Bank will repair into the next hour, top of
the ten o'clock hour. Sean Zarrillo, We're gonna start our
weekly look at baseball betting with the season coming up
here in a little less than a month. We will
start in our own backyard there we go. We'll start
tonight with the American League East, specifically a betting primer
on the AL East with Shan Zarillo from the Action Network. Well,

(12:33):
I don't think has been on with us since the
last baseball season, so it'd be good to have Sean
here with us in this opening hour. Shut up, Kaufman,
stop talking. Let's get to our guest. Cam Stewart from
Sports Grid is gonna be on with us to talk
through some NHL laid action because there's two or three
games still in front of us, and also API Arnold
Palmer Invitational, which tease off tomorrow morning. Cam is, ah, Well,

(12:58):
I'm just gonna tell you because Cam's never been on
with us before, but if you're in the betting space,
you're probably familiar with Cam. Cam is a maniac. Cam
is a like in the best possible way. I love him.
He's like a he's like me. I guess in that
he's a wind up doll like you. Just you ask
him something, He's not gonna stop talking. It's the pull
string on the back. So Dan, we're probably not gonna

(13:18):
get too many questions in with Cam.

Speaker 3 (13:20):
He's just gonna.

Speaker 5 (13:21):
Go, go, go, go go, but it'll be wildly entertaining
in the process. I can promise people that we'll step
aside Cam Stewart next.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
I'm tired of conventional sports talk and want to get
right into the action.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
Money won is twice as sweet as man.

Doctor Emma Wu is the best dentist around. She's my
dentist of choice. Here's another reason to choose doctor Wu.
Her office has a new digital lab. That's right, she
now has not only the most advanced technology, her office
is also completely digitized. This new digital workflow is to

(14:20):
support the full arch implant supported bridge or all on four.
Every other aspect of dentistry was digitized already. Well, now
the all on four, which patients absolutely love, is now available.
The outcome is incredible. I've met these patients personally and

true and you can hear these stories plus many more,

Speaker 4 (15:27):
Now, are you struggling with bad feet?

Speaker 3 (15:29):
Hi?

Speaker 4 (15:30):
This is Phoebe and at the Good Feet Store we
hear a lot about foot, knee, hip and back pain.
I'd like you to hear what Kelsey, a kinesiologist, has
to say about the Good Feet arch support system.

Speaker 10 (15:39):
As a next my specialist. I've seen all kinds of
things that people try to put in their shoes to
get out of pain. What I really like about the
Good Feet system is that they spore all four arches in.

Speaker 4 (15:49):
The foot, so did you know you had four arches
in each foot? Most shoes and inserts only support one.
Maybe that's the reason all the remedies you've tried in
the past just didn't work.

Speaker 10 (15:57):
When the foot's placed in the ideal position, everything else
up the kinetic chain works better. You have better balance,
more energy. You're going to feel better. Being able to
move freely and out of pain means everything to me.
And good movement starts with the feed.

Speaker 7 (16:28):
I used to think that going to church was like
pain or religious tax dying and rising to live. And
Jesus isn't about pain religious taxes. It is God working
the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus in us to grow
a new creation.

Speaker 3 (16:46):
Doctor Michael Ziggler. This week on the luther An Hour.

Speaker 6 (16:50):
The luther An Hour Sunday's at two thirty on the
Voice of Boston w RKO.

Speaker 1 (16:56):
W RKO, the Voice of Boston and radio station Locks
Leans and everything in between.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
It says here we should work in teams. It wants
to be my spator.

Speaker 11 (17:11):
I don't think you should be doing too much gambling tonight,
Alan gambling, because anything about gambling not gambling when you
know you're gonna win.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
Now back to Boston's only nightly betting show, The Gambler
with Adam Kaufman. Listen on the iHeartRadio app or your
smart speaker.

Speaker 5 (17:36):
We are back to Gambler with Adam Kraftman here on WRKO,
and as mentioned, a lot of college basketball, NBA and
even some baseball coming up a little bit later in
the program, as we begin our look ahead to the
new season on the Diamond, we will have Sean Zarillo
on for the American League East Betting Primer. But here

(17:57):
in this opening hour, want to bring on a a
friend of mine, a first time we're here on this
program because he is usually nightly on from ten to
midnight Eastern as we used to be, So it really
wasn't even until we added the extra hour we started
earlier that I could even invite this guy on he is.

(18:19):
I was just saying a lovable maniac and I'm thrilled
to have him on here with us from Sports Grid,
Cam Stewart, who you can find on Twitter at Cam
Stuart Live Cam.

Speaker 3 (18:28):
How are you, Bud good Kaufman.

Speaker 12 (18:31):
Yeah, it's been pretty good night so far. Actually, you know,
me and my dogs Florida outright in college which was
a good one. Hopefully hockey's going to go the same tonight.
It's beautiful night tonight for me and Morency on Sports
Grid because we've got some late night action which is great,
a lot of late action on the ice and I'm ready.

Speaker 5 (18:49):
To rock elevated event, twenty million dollar perse all the
big boys, including Scottie Scheffler and Rory McElroy, the only
two guys sitting inside ten to one. But you you
said it earlier, you're a dumpster diver. You look for value.
Where are you investing in this tourney?

Speaker 12 (19:07):
Well, the thing about Scheffler is is our good chance
he's gonna win. Yeah, he's plus thirty fifty and the
guys will gone and be like back to back. He's
almost unstoppable when he's on. That's the whole thing. Will
the putter go cold. But when you look at a
price like that, if you're not leading, you can get
a live number, hopefully and get a better number than that.
So you got to lay off those guys. I'm gonna
start with Patrick Cantlay at twenty eight to one. He
hits it straight. You want to take guys at him,

(19:29):
guys who play well in the US Open, because this
is going to be a grind. Watching Golf Channel, they
already talked about it. Smiley Kaufman on our network. Carver
and some friends of ours talked about him today and
they were basically saying, this ruff very You're gonna get
murdered in the rough. They're looking at a winning score
like seven eight under this week. You know, two hunder
rounds are good. So I want guys that can grind
it out, like Patrick Cantlay, the Irish Bear, Shane Lowry

(19:52):
forty to one. He's in pretty good form right now,
finished T eleven last week. I love this guy. I
love every part of his game. It's all about putty
for Shane Lowry. Right, We're going to take a couple
of shots here. Ben Griffin has been really, really good,
top five consistently almost one last week right in the
mix last week at the tournament and what was now
seventy five to one. You got to give me something there,

(20:12):
And Adam, I don't go dumpster diving, actually I do.
And if by, by the way, that promo was amazing
when they said the last league of the parley, they're
fading you. That's not very nice. Give me Matthew Fitzpatrick
ninety to one, another great player from England won a
US Open before. That is a great, great price. And Adam,
we haven't gone to Boston, gone to the bar. If
you're looking for another guy at a big price, how

(20:32):
about a nice smooth Ryan Ginger Aaron Rye one hundred
to one. Let's rock cam.

Speaker 6 (20:39):
Any exposure to Russell Hemley this weekend forty to one
as an outright. He's playing great this season, three top
tens and five events so far. Good course history here.
He finished tied for fourth last year at this tournament,
and so anything with Henley this week.

Speaker 12 (20:54):
I Headley last week and on Sunday I want to
put a brick through my TV because he should have
won that tournament. But it's been really crazy golf. A
lot of these guys one hundred and two hundred and
onees are coming in. I like Kenley. I have Henley
for a top ten bet. I think that's really really
smart if you want to lay it a little bit
of juice with the top twenty. Great call. Russell Henley's
in great form right now. He hits the ball straight.
He's done well in this event before Horse for the course.

(21:16):
Great call by you on Russell Henley. He was a
guy that I looked at. I was looking at guys
going who am I going to take, like Lowry or him?
I picked Lowry. I got no problem with Russell Henley.
He's one of the hotter players. And remember he's playing
for the Ryder Cup as well, so if these results
keep on going well, they'll be a part of that
US team. I love Russell Henry.

Speaker 5 (21:33):
As we know, when it comes to golf, it's not
all about sprinkling out right, So you can build out
a bank roll if you, you know, get a little
conservative and attack certain guys.

Speaker 3 (21:42):
You know at the.

Speaker 12 (21:45):
Last week last week, we'd like the winners of these
tournaments are one hundred and one and great point by you.
Only like top fives and top tens and top twenties.
I did ten of those bets and we hit eight,
and that gave me a plus on the week, Because
who the hell's going to take some of these guys
like Joe high Smith at one hundre twenty to one
or at Campbell at two hundred and fifty three hundred
to one. I talked to Brady Canon, who you work

(22:05):
with at him He said, no one ticket in Nevada
was on these guys. Like that's the whole thing. So
the outrights, the books are raking it in. It's really
good to take the match up bets like Henley versus
somebody in the matchup bet. And I love the top
ten and twenty market. That's my favorite.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
Cam. We know we got to let you go before
we do. How about a favorite bet across the API.

Speaker 12 (22:25):
Across the API, I would take a matchup bet. I
would take Shane Lowry, get a matchup bet. I know
what he's plus money against Justin Thomas. I know it's
a little bit crazy. A lot of people like Thomas
this week, but if you're gonna give me plus one
thirty on Shane Lowry Dirish Bear, I'll take it. It's
not my favorite, but I don't know what to do
at him. You know me, by the time it's Sunday,
I'm probably gonna have sixty active bets. Buddy, good luck

(22:47):
with your hockey plays tonight, and I'll talk to you
real soon and hopefully we can hit a winner and
golf and we'd come back and celebrate with a couple
of cold ones.

Speaker 5 (22:55):
Look forward to it. Bud cam Stewart on Twitter at
Camp Stuart Live. He is from Sports Grid. We'll let
him go. He's got his show tonight with Gave Moreenci
Sports Rage. They're on Sports Grid.

Speaker 1 (23:06):
Locks, Leans and everything in between.

Speaker 2 (23:10):
It says here we should work in teams.

Speaker 3 (23:13):
It wants to be my spator.

Speaker 11 (23:15):
I don't think you should be doing too much gambling tonight, Alan,
gambling is anything about gambling, It's not gambling when you
know you're gonna win.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
You think.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
Now back to Boston's only nightly betting show, The Gambler
with Adam Kaufman. Listen on the iHeartRadio app or your
smart speaker.

Speaker 5 (23:39):
Celtics with a nice win over the Blazers tonight. While
very shorthanded, no Jason Tatum, no Christamps porzingis, no Drew Holiday,
no matter, no matter, A quiet shooting night for Jason
or Jalen Brown. It was the White and Pritchard show,
combining for eighty four points nineteen he made threes. They

(24:01):
each scored north of forty first time in Celtics history
that that has ever happened by a pair of teammates
in the same game. Very very cool and nice win
as mentioned overall for Boston against a plucky Blazers team
that has been you know, it's not a good team,
but a team that's definitely been given some some teams

(24:21):
a little bit of fight, a little bit of trouble
of late. We have one more game to tip off
tonight and we are invested in it as a show
in multiple ways. That's the Pistons at the Clippers and
good time to bring on our next guest here, Von
Dalzel from of course NBC Sports on Twitter at v
money Sports. He has been doing a lot of great

(24:43):
work of late, not only in the NBA streets, but
call it hoops as well. It's March baby. We've said
it a number of times. The madness right around the corner. Vaughn,
how are you.

Speaker 2 (24:52):
I'm doing well. I appreciate you guys having me on
tonight and you know, shout out to Peyton Pritchard. I
felt like an idiot. The past week or two seem
easily six Man of the Year odd surging rightfully so,
but Pritchard put us right back on top. Well, forty
three piece tonight, let's go baby.

Speaker 6 (25:08):
Move to tomorrow night, big game at the end of
the slate. Tomorrow, the Knicks head out to LA. They
start up a road trip in California, taking on the
Lakers here, Vaughan, I think this is a really big
measuring stick game for each of these teams. Here, the
Lakers are now favored by as much as three and
a half this game. This opened up at one and
a half. LA has been rolling since acquiring Luka Doncics.

(25:28):
They've won six or seven in a row. The Knicks,
mean while are coming off a loss to Golden State,
and everybody's kind of saying about the Knicks right now, Well,
they beat who they're supposed to beat, but anytime they
face a team that's better than them, well they lose.
So what do you make of this matchup?

Speaker 2 (25:42):
Yeah, that's that's certainly been a case for them. I mean,
they're playing a lot of tight games. The Knicks right now,
and you look at who they played the recently Cavs, Celtics, Warriors, Grizzlies,
like they have some good playoff caliber teams under their
belt in the last two weeks, and I think that
does go along the way. And obviously Kat missing a game,
you know that that impacts them the way him being
would certainly help too. And this spreads a little fishy,

(26:02):
you know, getting the one and a half two two
and a half number here for the Knicks kind of
seems appilling to me. I don't love taking road underdogs
in the NBA, but the Lakers winning seven straight only
two of those teams being playoff calibers in that span,
you really question is this team clicking or have they
played the teams that they're also supposed to be beating
in that span. So I do think this game there's

(26:24):
gonna be a lot of live betting potential for you
to grab either side, you know, with two or three
possessions here. But off the rip, I do actually lean
the Knicks. But you know, there is a golden roll
in gambling, and you know this is probably only a
hot take for the people listening, but God Bam bino
bets are ope to him because the real bit Bingo
Bets is not on Twitter right now, but he said,
when a team is on a hot heater, do not

(26:46):
fade them. Okay, and you know it's certainly hard to
make cases to fade the Lakers right now. But if
the Knicks are getting four and a half or five
in the game, I'd probably lie at that.

Speaker 5 (26:55):
Yeah, I'll tell you what I'm seeing. Three and a
half's out there for the next across two makes it
that much more appealing.

Speaker 3 (27:02):
Let's bring it back to Boston.

Speaker 5 (27:03):
Celtics heavy favorites tomorrow against the Sixers open at minus thirteen.
Now they're thirteen and a halfs even fourteen's out there,
thing could conceivably climb. I think it's safe to assume
Jason Tatum is going to be back, you know, just
kind of got the night off tonight. Jalen Brown, you know,
maybe he's out tomorrow because he played tonight. Remember both
those guys were questionable going into that game tonight.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
It's just this team is.

Speaker 5 (27:27):
A little bit you alluded to it, a little bit
of a crapshoot at the moment when it comes to
who was going to play in games that they view
as winnable without some of their stars. I'm sure Holiday
won't play because of the finger. I'm sure Porzingis won't
play because of the plague or whatever it is he's
dealing with right now. So it becomes Pritchard, White and
obviously the Jays. As far as who's in who's out,

(27:49):
the only question is really doesn't matter because the Sixers
are so shorthanded talent wise and just so bad. We
already know Max is not going to play. Do you
just lay the number with Boston anyway?

Speaker 2 (28:01):
Well, that's a dangerous part with teams like the Sixers
because you know, especially against the Warriors, like you see
the Warriors lay a complete egg to them and the
Sixers can hang around with the team for a quarter
or two, but you just kind of see that second
half is when teams start to pill off on them.

Speaker 12 (28:14):
And I mean last time they met.

Speaker 2 (28:16):
Boston, Boston has seventy two first half points, and I
don't think it necessarily means matters. I should say how
many stars are in the lineup or starters for the Celtics,
because we know this team could put up points, right,
So I will be looking at a Celtics first half
team total hoping that, you know, maybe the questions around
who's playing impacts that number makes it a little lower.
But honestly, if you're getting the Sixers in the first quarter,

(28:38):
like you know, a five and a half, a six
and a half number, because everyone's laying it with the Celtics,
I would certainly look at them right now. But that's
the only way. This team is certainly something that you
don't want to back for four quarters of basketball right now.
And I mean what the Celtics did against Portland too
tonight in the first half is appealing, you know, get
in and get out against the Sixers. So I could
only look at Boston here. I mean, the Sixers are

(28:59):
going to blow everything up. This team is absolutely toast
right now and tanking.

Speaker 5 (29:05):
We got Von Dalzel hanging out here with us from
NBC Sports talking through the NBA bunch more games tomorrow
that we can dive into some injury updates as well.

Speaker 3 (29:15):
We'll explore all of that when we come back.

Speaker 5 (29:22):
Von Dalzel's with us from NBC Sports talking our way
through the NBA and looking to the Thursday Slate. Let's
go to the Bulls and Magic in Orlando. Here, Von,
where it was six and a half for Orlando. Now
it's seven and a half across the board. And this
is just it's an interesting game because the Bulls don't
expect av ussevic Gety may not play. It's just a

(29:45):
it's not a good team. I mean, it's a team
that really should be actively tanking. But it's like they
haven't gotten the memo yet. Whereas the Magic, who I
don't think are great, but are a lot better than
they've been playing of late. They've lost three straight games
by a combined like six seven points. They're coming off
back to back home losses against the Raptors, who suck

(30:09):
you know, as considerable favorites in both of them, and
we're seeing a similar line here in this game against Chicago.
Is this a response game out of Orlando or do
you take the Bulls simply for a lack of trust.

Speaker 2 (30:22):
I believe the Raptors are getting more discs there than
my Bulls. I'm a Chicago fan man right now. And
that's just like this team has no identity. You know.
I was, you know, talking about the sixties a little bit,
but the Bulls are pretty much in the same spot.
It's like when you watch this offense you know, they
don't really have a clear direction of where they're going.
They're trying to evaluate all their talent for a rebuild
at this point, so it's really hard to trust and

(30:43):
be betting on this team. I relayed the six and
a half with the Magic I feel like it's a
very telling line to have this. I'm interested in the
team totals of this game. With the totals, you know,
circulating around to eighteen to nineteen and a half, we
certainly can get a very stavable number for Orlando because
you know, you look at Chicago go in the last
seven eight games, pretty much everybody has scored one hundred
and ten plus points on them. They don't play any defense.

(31:06):
They like to run up and down the floor. When
they play Orlando, you see early on who's dictating the
tempo of the game. The first time around, I was
Orlando playing that one h two to like ninety nine
score type game. And then the last time they played,
they fell into Chicago's style of play and Orlando won
one thirty three to one nineteen. So it's interesting that
Orlando won in Chicago's style of pace while Chicago won

(31:27):
early season Orlando style of play I think we do
see a slower tempo game here, So I'm kind of
curious of what the Bulls team total will be. I
might take an under, but I think the Magic are
the right side to break that four game losing streak.
And you only get telling lines like this if you're
supposed to win, you know, So I think they do
win and they cover with margin here.

Speaker 6 (31:44):
How about this Pacers and Hawks game VN We got
Indiana's favorite to buy up to two and a half
now across the board. They opened up as just a
one point favorite on the road, and we got a
ridiculously high total here at two forty six and a half,
the highest on the board tomorrow night by far. And
I saw a flat two forty seven is just popped
up too.

Speaker 2 (32:02):
Yeah, I'm gonna like the under or the over. Excuse me,
I'm looking at this as you guys are talking. I
was like, let me check the Grizzlies score right now,
because I got the under in that game, and I'm like, Okay,
that looks good, but at any moment, that game could
be completely blown up and smooth over. Now we're seeing
like the modern NBA. Now, these these two forty six
is two fifties, two to fifty fours are popping up,
and it's very hard to bet Unders on a lot

(32:22):
of these because a lot of these stats are going
to point towards these overs. But I do think this
is a quality game for and over. Now you look
at possessions per game, you know, pace, tempo, this is
exactly what you want. Both teams clearly top ten at
Lanta in the last three five ten games all top three,
And when you look at recently a lot of the
games that had these these totals as high, we were

(32:43):
constantly moving up until a couple of nights ago when
we had a two fifty one to two fifty two
and that was the highest of the season with the
Grizzlies and the Hawks. And then they roll around the
next Grizzlies game against the Thunder and they give us
a two to fifty four tonight, which I thought was
too high. Considered the Thunder one of the best defensive teams,
if not the best, in the NBA. So now we're
seeing this game right now currently to two thirty five

(33:03):
and a half about to go in a halftime. So
it's another game where Patrios Hawks. I think people are
going to see tonight's action. They think this game clearly
the highest scoring game. They'll want to go under on this.
I think this is a better over game than what
we're seeing tonight, to be honest with you, with these
team style of play Patrios Hawks, there's no defense involved
in these ones. With Thunder and Grizzlies, at least they
have defensive guys, you know, like the Chet Holk Grums,

(33:24):
the Jaron Jackson's, the Jalb Williams and company.

Speaker 5 (33:28):
Warriors are nine and a half ten point favorites on
the road in Brooklyn.

Speaker 3 (33:33):
Now, on the.

Speaker 5 (33:34):
One side, should they win for those out there thinking
money line parlays, bank roll repairs all that, sure, of course,
but that's a big number on the road for Golden State,
you know, too big, you think, yeah.

Speaker 2 (33:47):
I mean the nts A look pretty poor though in
the last five games. And you know, we have a
joke here because a lot of the lot of our
producers and people that are working on the Peacock set
continually keep betting the NETS team total under every single day.
I keep going a peek back on the NBC studard.
They're like, man, I keep getting burned on these ones
by a couple of points, and I'm like, this team
is hard to figure out right now because you have

(34:09):
teams like you know, the Bulls, the Sixers, the Nets.
These teams in the fourth quarter when they're down by
fifteen to twenty, they don't just pack it in. They're
letting the young guys go out and shooting gun. So
that's when you're getting these backdoor covers, these team total
over sneaking up, or in general overs or totals being impacted.
So I'm really not in love with this game at all.
Like the Warriors, what they did to the Knicks impressive.

(34:30):
You go out and smack up the Hornets like you
should after you lose the Sixers. Jimmy Butler didn't play,
so obviously that impacts some things. But you know, I
probably look at more at the prop market than the
spreader total in this game. You know, Buddy Hill's been
playing pretty well lately, had a twenty two spot against
the Hornets. May look at him. I keep writing up
it may be time to fake Steph Curry at some point,
but that doesn't look like it's gonna happen. This guy's

(34:52):
been on fire lately, so I can only look at
you know, Buddy Hill and Steph Curry overprops. I'm probably
gonna pass on the number, but if the Warriors number
comes down to five or six in game, absolutely would
lay that live with them.

Speaker 6 (35:03):
And I think that brings us to Houston and New Orleans.
I think that's the last game.

Speaker 3 (35:07):
We got here, last worst one.

Speaker 6 (35:09):
So the total is uh plummeting here, We're it opened
at two twenty nine and a half. We're down to
a two twenty seven on FanDuel right now, Vaughn. The
spread here, let me click over, is down to four
and a half or five. Yeah, there's still actually a
five and a half out there if you if you
do want to bet the Pelicans. So what do you
got in this one?

Speaker 2 (35:27):
Well, I don't want to pet the Pelicans, but honestly,
I don't want to pet the Rockets either. Like these
these are two of my probably least profitable teams. I've
stayed away from the Pelicans pretty much the majority of
the season. And now, like we saw Thompson off of
the Rockets the other day, like now we're seeing young
guys in the NBA setting out games, which definitely doesn't
make me one of late points with that team team either.
But the fact that you guys are telling me the

(35:49):
totals already dropping two and a half three points from
the opening line, I think that's the indicator of where
this game would be going. I mean, the Rockets are
a very good defensive team, right They have their mishaps
here or there because they're young, but I think that
they're one of the teams that when they get into
the postseason, we're not gonna be able to trust them offensively,
but we can trust them defensively to stay within striking distance.
So that's a good under team in my opinion. I

(36:11):
don't have any opinion on well I want to bet
with this game, but you guys certainly just gave me
something to right about tomorrow with NBC, so I'm gonna
look harder into the under. But that's gonna be a
lean of mind probably, do you just due to the
action right now? So?

Speaker 3 (36:23):
I love that we're giving people work. This is nice.

Speaker 5 (36:25):
So before we let you go of on, is there
a you know across all these games? I know it's
not a huge slate, but now that we've talked through
all of them, do you have a favorite play as
of right now?

Speaker 2 (36:36):
We played is the Pacers Hawks over two forty six
and a half and then the Magic minus six and
a half. Now, I would say the Magic game would
be my favorite because only when I do bet the
Bulls games, I'm pretty confident of what is going to happen,
and I think Orlando is the right side. But that
Bulls team total under might be appealing if we can
get a number, you know, around a one oh seven,
one o eight or something like that. So I'm gonna

(36:58):
keep an eye off for that. But bet wise Pacers Hawks. Baby,
if that first quarter is slow, you get a two
thirty five or something, two thirty eight hit that one.
I think that's gonna be a great bet.

Speaker 3 (37:08):
All right. Von Dalzel from NBC Sports.

Speaker 5 (37:11):
He's part of Peacock and doing a lot of great
college hoops coverage over there on Twitter at V money Sports.

Speaker 3 (37:18):
Vaughn, enjoy it, man, it's been a while. We'll bug
you again soon.

Speaker 12 (37:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (37:21):
Sounds great to me, guys. Appreciate it and have a
good night, all.

Speaker 3 (37:24):
Right, absolutely you as well.

Speaker 5 (37:26):
We will step aside, come on back with bank roll
repairs for tomorrow, and also check in on how the
show plays are going.

Speaker 3 (37:32):
Hopefully a nice profitable day is on the way.

Speaker 1 (37:37):
Now back to The Gambler with Adam Kauffman on six
eighty WRKL streaming live on the iHeartRadio app, or tell
your smart speaker to play WRKO on iHeartRadio. It's time
for your bank roll repair, powered by today's collision.

Speaker 5 (37:57):
Now great stuff out of Vaughn. We are back to
take a little look see at some bank roller repairers
and just put the finishing touches on mine. As of
right now, I know Dan has already built his out.

(38:17):
He will unveil that for the public, but it's on
the action app. The Gambler with AK is the show handled.
Dan has his handle as well at Dan Watkins. Make
sure you check it out.

Speaker 3 (38:27):
But show plays.

Speaker 5 (38:29):
There's just so much still to go in terms of
you know, we need points out of Matthews Anicel, but
that game's you know, thirteen fourteen minutes in.

Speaker 3 (38:38):
We need Detroit to win by at least three.

Speaker 5 (38:40):
That game's halfway through the first We need three assists
out of Asser Thompson doesn't have any yet, but again
early on, we need a bunch of goals out of
Anaheim and Vancouver six of them. But that game is
only about five minutes in as far as the b
RS to go. Unfortunately, Dan's is dead. Mine is still alive.
The last leg is the Thunder up by six at

(39:01):
the half. Need them to win to bring home that
minus one oh three and hopefully cash that one. But
as we look toward tomorrow, let's get into it here, Dan,
what do you have?

Speaker 10 (39:12):
All right?

Speaker 6 (39:13):
College basketball? Let's get this one. Oh my god, it's
been frustrating past couple of days.

Speaker 11 (39:17):
Here.

Speaker 6 (39:17):
Let's go with you ab at home on the money line,
Robert Morris, Bobby mo on the money line, and then
Grand Canyon throwing that in there to bring this to
plus money plus one thirteen on DraftKings.

Speaker 3 (39:30):
All right, very good?

Speaker 5 (39:31):
I am I see to take something out that jumped
on me? All right, I got, I'm just I'm gonna
go all NBA three legs. Looks like best odds are
on DraftKings at minus one oh seven, so we're we're
shade below even money once again, but minus one oh
seven on DK Celtics on the money line. I don't

(39:57):
know about laying the thirteen fourteen points, but I expect
them to win this game at home. The Golden State
Warriors again I don't know about covering the number in Brooklyn,
but I expect them to win as long as you know,
Steph Curry doesn't get ruled out or something, and then
I guess the.

Speaker 3 (40:12):
Based on the odds.

Speaker 5 (40:12):
Anyway, the sweaty game would be Orlando to bounce back
after three straight losses by combined again six seven points,
a couple of you know, crushing defeats at home against
the Raptors. I think they bounce back get this win
as we were talking about with Vaughan before against the
Bulls at home, no less, to finish off that home stand.

(40:35):
So those three legs, it's it three legs money line Boston,
Golden State, Orlando minus one oh seven on DraftKings. That's
what we're trying to bring home tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (40:45):
Fellas sweet sounds good. Load that into the Action app.
We'll be all set with that.

Speaker 5 (40:52):
But yeah, it's an interesting NBA slate, you know, just
to spend a moment because I won't necessarily.

Speaker 3 (40:58):
Have a lot of time on it later on. It's
hard to.

Speaker 5 (41:05):
Anticipate what the Celtics is gonna do as I, as
I touched on before you know, I, for instance, Tatum's
gonna play Porzingis won't, Holiday won't. We don't know that
all to be official, but it's to me it's official
from there, White who was questionable, Pritchard who was questionable,
Brown who was questionable. All three we didn't know if

(41:26):
they were going to play tonight they did. Does Tatum
come back in? Brown sits? What happens to the other two?
How do you read what Boston is going to do
in a game that I have to believe that they
believe internally this is a good rest spot for our guys.

Speaker 3 (41:43):
You know, Horford won't play.

Speaker 5 (41:44):
It's a back to back I've mentioned before, and you know,
like we should be able to win down some guys
who sits?

Speaker 6 (41:53):
Yeah, yeah, you would assume so. But once again, the
Celtics still big number, and like like tonight, if you
have played Portland last night ten and a half, he
would have covered by the hook thirteen and a half.
I think I'd still look towards Philly here, just because
you don't know what the Celtics are gonna put out
and like they're horrible at covering these big numbers, So
I would look towards grabbing the points of the Philadelphia
even with this, how terrible. They've been.

Speaker 5 (42:16):
Any any feeling on who actually does sit among those
who played tonight, like beyond Horford obviously, like do we
see Yeah, I think Prichard plays, but you know, whether
it's Brown and or White.

Speaker 6 (42:30):
I mean, if they I would I would assume that
they would probably give Brown the night off, right because
he's been dealing with some sort of illness, so maybe
he's a little extra fatigue than normal after tonight. But
I mean, Holliday is getting closer, I believe, I know
he's been going through the shoot around and actually working
out of practice with as he's dealing with that mallet finger.
But yeah, no, no real strong leading there when it

(42:52):
comes to Derek White or anything like that.

Speaker 5 (42:54):
Yeah, there's this, Uh, I may end up in the
in the college street when we do our official show
plays a little bit later on, because as of right now,
and I'll continue to dig in throughout the show, but
as of right now, there there isn't a spread anyway,
you know, there isn't a side with these NBA games

(43:14):
that we have tomorrow because I you know, like you're
typically in the college streets, I'm usually in the NBA streets.
And that's just sort of you know, better fits our
either our personalities, our interests, your model. I don't know,
but as you how it usually transpires. But it's it's
hard to There isn't a great edge. It doesn't look
like in the NBA for tomorrow right now, at least

(43:35):
with the injury news that we have no.

Speaker 6 (43:36):
And I feel the same way about the NHL at
the moment. I will probably be in college as well.
I'm waiting on a potential player prop in the NHL
to pop up tomorrow, but it's not up right now,
so I doubt it will be up by in the
next hour. But that's some good news.

Speaker 5 (43:50):
Jack Iicele just scored a goal, very nice. So you
got to point out of Ikle. You need Matthews to
complete that right there, and we need some goals elsewhere.
But when we come back, Ryan McIntyre Sports Gambling Podcast
Network College Basketball Talk.

Speaker 3 (44:05):
Oh what a time to be alive. W that was
your bank roll?
