Speaker 1 (00:01):
W r k O presents Boston's only nightly sports betting show,
The Gambler with Adam Kaufman. Now from nine till midnight,
your home to talk spreads, props, totals, and more.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Hey Doc, and.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
What's the harm of bringing back a little info in
the future.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Maybe we could place a couple of deaths. The Gambler
starts now.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
All I have to do is bet on the winner
and I'll never lose.

Speaker 4 (00:26):
Kears Adam Kaufman.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
It's March, baby, it is our time. It is the time.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
I know.

Speaker 5 (00:35):
We love football. Football's king, Football's great year round. There'll
be some football talk this week. We'll react to what
has gone on at the combine. Patriots news and notes,
draft stock rising, plummeting trades, guys changing homes like Deebo
Samuel now a Washington commander. Should you invest in Jaden
Daniels MVP tickets eleven to one?

Speaker 2 (00:58):
I saw him.

Speaker 5 (00:59):
They're out there. You could do that. Where's DeVante? Adam's
gonna land? We're still waiting, obviously on Cooper Cup. Little
news and notes to.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Make their way around the quarterback carousel.

Speaker 5 (01:11):
Will it be much of one? Aaron Rodgers will have
a new home. Not Matt Stafford. Nope, that chance meeting
with Tom Brady in Montana wherever the hell it was
not leading to anything. He is gonna be sticking around
with the Rams. There's just there's a lot. There's a
lot to get to with football, certainly, basketball and hockey

(01:32):
playoffs at the pro level right around the corner as well.
We'll have plenty of that tonight. But March means college hoops.
It means college basketball, which has a show is our specialty.
At least it was last year. It was last year.
We were plus ninety some units betting college basketball last year.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
I don't know exactly where it stands this year. I
know that, knock on.

Speaker 5 (01:57):
Wood, we've had some good success lately and in the bankroll,
repair streets, putting the right favorites together and all of that.
But let's dive right in here, Dan Watkins and Brian
but hello, it's a good to will not see you
or we're in different locations, but to hear those voices
once again. But we got a game that if it

(02:17):
hasn't tipped off yet, it will be in a matter
of moments, and that is Kansas and Houston. Obviously, the
big game on the docket in the world of college
basketball today. Conference Attorneys held summer already underway, but it's
going to be a busy week for that, and we'll
be monitoring championship bods. We'll have Wes Reynolds on with
us from Vison in a little while, get a primer

(02:39):
from him, as well as look ahead to tomorrow's slate
regular season winding down for the teams that still have
those games. But this is a big one here, and
it seems like, boy, just about everything you read across
the industry, the quote unquote experts that put out their plays,
the professional handicappers, which honestly, I'd put us in that category.

(03:00):
We're not professional betters, but we're professional handicappers. It's what
the foundation of this show is built on, you know,
giving you advice and talking strategy and giving you plays, well,
what kind of play makes sense? On Houston and Kansas
and angry and disappointing and struggling Kansas team against a

(03:22):
Houston team that a lot of people are trying to
talk themselves into as a true national champion. Houston at
home nine and a half point favorite, was ten moved
inside the number people were loving Kansas at plus ten,
maybe not as much when you lose that hook and
you get to nine and a half. I've heard a
lot of people talking about back in the Cougar's first half,

(03:42):
that's when they tend to roll huge first half team
minus five and a half, that number is still out there.
And then come half number two, that's when those back
door covers are live.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
How do you see this game? And did you bet it?

Speaker 4 (03:55):
I put Houston moneyline in a builder, But other than that, no,
I thought the line was right. I don't trust Kansas
on the road one bit that I believe this might
be like the biggest underdog that Bill Bill self's ever
been at Kansas. I saw, I saw our buddy Kyle
Aikins like tweet tweet out today that his his data
always trend from him. Yeah, well his data only goes

(04:18):
back to like twenty twelve. And this is the biggest
uh spread that Kansas has ever been as an underdog tonight. Yeah. No,
it's a just Houston on the money line and the
Builder that I got going. Other than that, complete stay
away these two teams like this, to these two teams,
it could be a rock fight Houston blow out I
could see you going a number of different ways.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Well, it's gonna be an exciting game, should be. I
mean maybe I don't know.

Speaker 5 (04:41):
Like I was looking at the toad Sports projections, I
like to cite him every once in a while when
I'm looking into some stats and uh uh, he of
course is you know this.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
This is not unlike your rhythm model. This this is numbers.
This is projections. This is not a you know what.

Speaker 5 (04:57):
This is not Rob Donaldson out there telling you how
he feels about a game or what his projections are.
This is completely and deeply analytical and has Houston, I think,
by like seventeen eighteen points tonight, Yeah, has the Cougars
in an absolute you know, landslide, which would be fun

(05:17):
if you're investing in Houston. Obviously, not as much so
with Kansas, where I saw a lot of our friends
at SGPN Sports Gambling podcast netwhere Colby Dant and Ryan McIntyre,
these guys on Kansas to cover the number. And I'm
not surprised Colby by nature, you know, if people haven't
picked it up when he's been on the show with
us or when he's been on elsewhere, if you listen
to his shows he's he's a dog guy. He likes

(05:40):
to take the points, he likes to sprinkle the money line.
He is very much a dog guy, so I would
have expected that anyway. But he's also right a lot
of the time. And as someone who is more interested
in Houston like yourself, I hope he is wrong in
this particular.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
We could both be right. I just have him on
the money line in the building.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
That's a good point. So that's a good point.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
There's a lot of room there for both of us
to be right actually in the game in this time slot.
That that was much more interesting to me that I
couldn't get a feel on was the UCLA Northwestern game,
which was a three and a half point line that games.
It's eleven to eleven right now, so there's plenty of
scoring to go going on at the start of this one.
But that line at three and a half. Ucla just

(06:21):
has not been good on the road. We were on
Perdue the other night, and the boiler Makers did eventually
pull away and make that one look a little uglier
than it really was. I saw a lot of people,
all of our friends over at SGPN were on Ucla
laying the three and a half tonight, which I thought
was strange. Our buddy Greg Peterson leaning towards Northwestern. My
model was like lit up for Northwestern tonight, so a
very interesting one. I just stayed away there just from

(06:45):
everything that I like to put together.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
In discipline, composure.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
Yeah, this weird slate tonight. I restrained myself quite a
bit on a lot of these tonight, I mean were
at the last week of the regular season. Unfortunately I
laid the points with wake Forest or no, I grabbed
the points with wake Forest and I getting twenty and
a half. They lost by almost forty to Duke, who
I thought this would be a look at spot for
the Duchies tonight as they take on North Carolina on Saturday,

(07:08):
and Duke's covered now six in a row and they're
like their average margin of victory is like thirty plus
right now as they're cruising towards the end of the
regular season. I mean, that team is just firing in
all cylinders at the moment. Yeah, it's been a kind
of a weird night here with some of these you know,
lower real low level conference tournament games going on, like

(07:29):
the Atlantic Sun, like the second it's technically the second round.
But really these are like the bottom four teams that
are playing tonight. So it's it's it's it's kind of
an ugly night.

Speaker 5 (07:39):
Yeah, we're not into the big boys yet there are
maybe maybe you don't feel the same way. Like you said,
it's a strange slate and it's it's a light slate
here on this Monday. There are two games that tip
off a bit later on ten o'clock. You have Sacramento State,
Portland State eleven o'clock, Eastern Washington and Montana. And like

(08:00):
I mentioned, Wes Reynolds will join us and we'll look
at these two games. We won't go too deep into
them because you know, none of these are are great
teams by any stretch. Montana's a good team, you know,
given the competition it's faced. I suppose twenty one to nine.
But these are actually two spots I'm pretty interested in
in terms of potentially, and I'll make my case a

(08:21):
little bit later. Potentially a show play be it for me,
and I could just do that on my own or
all together as a group play. But Portland State Montana
a couple of senior night games, both heavily favored. Some
curious spots that again, we can explore a little bit
later on the show when we have some time, and

(08:42):
I'll see if Wes has any confirmation bias with that.
I do want to mention though, so I am unlike
Dan here who has put together some wonderful spreadsheets for
us during the football season to track our show futures
and you know, auto update data and everything like that.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
I am very.

Speaker 5 (09:05):
Excel dumb and have not taken the opportunity to get
Excel smart. And so I have for our show records.
You know, I keep track of everything obviously, I mean
I cite the data all the time, but I track everything.
But one big difference is I manually do all this math.

(09:26):
I do not have it with you know, whatever code
or what have you need formula you need to punch
in to have it, you know, like, okay, well we
won this, we lost this, you know, blah blah blah,
and we're like I am the one doing the math
to tell you how many units we are up and

(09:48):
down a given day or a month or year whatever,
which is fine. I enjoy doing it, although I'm sure
if if I were smarter, there's there's a way to
expedite that process. I bring that up, because while I
am confident in saying that we had a positive A

(10:09):
plus February in the rear view mirror, a good finish
to that month, I don't have all the exact numbers
in front of me because I just haven't updated in
a few days. So I need to do that, maybe
even during the show, during commercial breaks or something like that.
I'll get on that and let people know exactly where
we are at. But I think it's been a good

(10:30):
little stretch for us over the last couple of weeks.
I know that much part of that. Sammy Chowdrey just
a golf clap to Chowdrey's choice over at FTN, gives
us his pick of the day each and every day.
He's been doing this now for a few weeks. I
don't know exactly.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
I mean, I know it.

Speaker 5 (10:50):
His all time record on the show is I'm trying
to I believe his record, excuse me, since starting to
do this specifically with us, since taking over, you know,
grabbing the baton from Rob Donaldson and outracing his competition
on this metaphorical track, I believe that Sammy is fifteen

(11:12):
three and two going into tonight.

Speaker 4 (11:16):
Was there three losses. I was gonna say maybe two,
like it's.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
There were no there were definitely three.

Speaker 5 (11:21):
There were definitely three because yeah, and a couple of
recent voids as well, So I do have that in
front of me. But his play tonight, so at the moment,
maybe it'll grow. But at the moment, we've given out
limited plays, we each gave out a bank roll, repair
we are each green there right now, but a long
way to go obviously, And Sammy's play has only just

(11:42):
tipped off in the last few minutes. And that's Sir
Thompson for Detroit over two and a half assists, which
I think he gave us recently as well, and that cashed.
But looking to get that one here tonight. That game's
only a few minutes in for Detroit, but only the
three plays at the moment. So yeah, Sammy, stay hot, fella,

(12:02):
keep it up.

Speaker 4 (12:03):
Yeah, Samy's been awesome, absolutely crushing it.

Speaker 5 (12:06):
And you know, getting our overall guest picks back to
a more respectable level.

Speaker 4 (12:11):
Is he going nice? I mean we're in March now,
so he's moving into a second month. We just letting
him go until he cools off.

Speaker 5 (12:17):
What we listen if I mean, well, Rob went a
full thirty days. Sammy's not there yet. Okay, you know
that's what Rob did.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
You know?

Speaker 5 (12:26):
That's what Sammy could do if we're if we're consistent
with it. But I'll tell you what with with what
Sammy's been doing. And again, I believe that record to
date is fifteen three and two, which would be twenty
so he'd be two thirds of the way there. If
he wants to keep going, Begond thirty. I'm not going
to tell him to stop.

Speaker 4 (12:44):
Oh yeah, yeah. If he keeps going at the pace
he's going, absolutely he.

Speaker 5 (12:48):
Can go right into you know, mid June with the
playoffs and on the way to crowning a champion if.

Speaker 4 (12:53):
He wants to, Yeah, keep going.

Speaker 5 (12:56):
Most impressive thing was that he started. He started ten
and zero, right, I just I can't even not that
I would have been thinking about doing it, but I
can't even imagine if I had just decided out of
the shoot, like all right, let's let's do that, let's
do the latter challenge, let's do the rollover the ten
dollars to ten k because it would have hit. It

(13:16):
would have hit, and how hard is that? Just amazing,
amazing stuff out of Sammy, all right, hang with us
college hoops talk on the other side. I want Wes
reynolds perspective on Houston and Kansas and of course these
late games, and then we'll get into Turney talk and
not quite the March madness yet. We're a couple of
weeks out, a little less than that from selection Sunday

(13:38):
and getting a bracket in our hands. But we can
talk conference tournaments, which are wildly exciting as well and
certainly profitable if you can find those edges. So hang
with us again. It's The Gambler with Adam Kaufman here
on WRKO. We're back and let's get into a lot

(13:59):
more college basketball here on the Gambler with Adam Kaufman.
In the next couple of segments, Wes Reynolds, our friend
from Vison, joins us. He is on Twitter at Wes
Reynolds and the number one, and back to having control
of his account, which is the most important thing I
tell you, Between like Casally outright losing his recently and
getting it back and Wes telling me that he had

(14:21):
lost some control for a little while, this is like,
you guys out there are just perpetuating my greatest.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
Fears of social media. This is this is my lifeblood
out here.

Speaker 6 (14:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (14:33):
Look, it's been going around lately. We know a lot
of different hacks and putting the two factor authentication on
and them you telling them that you don't have control,
they saying you do. And you know, maybe some of these,
maybe some of the government employees that got let go
can be hired by the ex Customer Service department. This
might expedite this and let this go faster.

Speaker 5 (14:55):
Big slate tomorrow, a lot of ranked teams in action.
Of course is conference at Turney time will have games
in the Sunbelt, the Horizon Patriot League, So there's plenty
obviously for us to touch on here. Look, you know,
I'll let you start you being the guest, which conference
has the most intrigue for you in terms of how

(15:17):
to bet this thing, be it a conference winner, you know,
through the stretch of that brief tourney or starting right tomorrow.

Speaker 7 (15:26):
Yeah, we don't have this team in action tomorrow because
they don't play in the first round of the tournament,
but in the Horizon League, which by the way, campus
sites and then you get the semi finals in the
finals out there at the State Fairground Coliseum. There in Indianapolis,
and I do like Cleveland State. I know, would we
look and I used to be this way when I

(15:47):
would look at conference tournament futures, I would often look
at the team that has the best defense, because how
many games do we watch where it's like, okay, you
get down the last five minutes and then it just
slows to a crawl. Right, That's what they all do
because you know it's win or go home when you
get the single elimination in these conference tournaments or any
of these postseason tournaments. But I go with the offense here,

(16:09):
and I like Cleveland stay to or about anywhere from
three to one to about plus three fifty seven to two,
anywhere in that range. They ended up finishing tied for
second in the conference. Robert Morris wins outright. They split
the regular season series between they both want on each
other's home floor, and Cleveland State number one in offensive

(16:30):
efficiency here in the Horizon League and number two defensively,
so they're right behind Robert Morris. The only thing Cleveland
State really doesn't do is prevent offensive rebounds. But they're
a team that I kind of like a little bit
in conference tournament futures, and a lot of times. What
I'm looking to do, guys, is if I get an
underdog that it kind of advances. You know, you can
always do those mechanical parlays with money lines and what night.

(16:54):
But that's what I'm looking to do, is just earn
and not necessarily Okay, I'm just going to bet that
because we're going to bet the games too along with
the future. So I do like Cleveland State a little bit.
In the Horizon League, the first round goes ahead and
gets started tomorrow, but yeah, we're getting the early games
now that that Sun Belt. I don't know if you
guys have seen that bracket for the Sun Belt where

(17:16):
it looks like some kind of creature in a video
game of like a big open mouth because you get
you know what I'm saying though, where you get like,
I think the thirteen against the fourteen, and there's like
two games a day, so everybody the top two seeds
get like a bye into the semi. I mean, it's
more ridiculous than even the West Coast Conference, which they
started that several years ago because they wanted to protect

(17:39):
in Zaga and Saint Mary's, you know, and give them
a buie into the semi finals where they don't get
bounced to the one seed in the quarterfinals. Then all
of a sudden, the selection committee can say, oh, the
Saint Mary's Gonzaga. You know, the competition wasn't that good
in the conference, but yeah, that Sun Belt bracket is
freaky down there in Pensacola.

Speaker 4 (17:55):
So those are the two conferences I specifically wanted to
ask you about. Let's let's start with the Sun Belt here.
Do you have a favorite in this group? I kind
of like South Alabama. This is almost this is borderline
at home for them. I think it's like the tournament's
located in Pensacola, which is less than an hour from
their campus. They've been really good all season. You can
still get a plus two eighty on them right now

(18:16):
at Fandel.

Speaker 7 (18:18):
They affectionately call Pensacola, Florida the Redneck Riviera by the way.
So we've got a big We've got a great tournament
down there. Arkansas State Troy, South Alabama JMU all tied
at thirteen and five. Probably from a power rating standpoint,
I think Arkansas State is the best team. Brian Hodgson
is the head coach. He was a NATO's Disciples, so

(18:41):
they like to get up and down the floor. They
are fifty ninth in tempo, so offensively, they're probably as
good as anybody. But I'm kind of with you on
USA and Richie Riley's Jaguars because I do like their defense,
and they slowed the tempo to to a crawl. I
think they're three fifty two in the tempo and the
Ken rankings, and they swept Darkansas State. So what is

(19:03):
that old adage It doesn't always ring true, but most
of the time it rings true, is that it's easier
to slow down a fast team that it is to
speed up a slow team. And South Alabama certainly has
shown them that they don't shoot the three ball very well,
but they take care of the basketball. They pressure you
in the back court and you know, force you. Because
a lot of teams when they press, they're just trying
to gamble for steels or they're trying to speed the

(19:25):
game up. South Alabama is actually a team that presses
and tries to slow the game down because you look,
they want to take you know, make you take time.
It's like, okay, you've had to work eight seconds to
get it across.

Speaker 6 (19:35):
The ten second line.

Speaker 7 (19:36):
Then all of a sudden, you're only at eighteen or
seventeen left on the shot clock before you even start
looking at the basket and running your offensive set.

Speaker 6 (19:43):
So I'm actually with.

Speaker 7 (19:44):
You a little bit. On South Alabama, I think that
there could be the a surprise, even though they shared
a four way typer first year in the Sun Belt.

Speaker 5 (19:53):
It's not a conference Churney game, but it is a
big one Number one Auburn against Texas A and M,
the twenty second ranked team in the nation, and we
have the number one team, the favorite, favored by five
and a half points here, eight and one on the
road Auburn this year and in addition to that, covering
the spread last five away from home. A and M

(20:15):
has dropped four straight ats, including a couple of home
games in which they were favored. And so is there
another impressive win for Auburn here on the horizon.

Speaker 7 (20:27):
Well, there could be, But I took six, and I
would still take five and a half. It's still out there.
Five and a half at most shops took. I took
Texas A and M here. Eight seniors by the way,
on this roster here and now maybe that's the reason
why Buzz Williams's name is all of a sudden getting
floated for jobs. You know, some people trying to give
him some buzz no pun intended for the Indiana job.

Speaker 6 (20:50):
But maybe there's a.

Speaker 7 (20:51):
Reason why he's looking for greener pastors because he's got
eight signers with even and that's a lot to replace,
even in this portal era. But yeah, an M was
four in a row. This is a team that's a
very good defensive team and certainly very experienced, and they've
got a couple of big shot makers that are not
good shooters, Wade Taylor and Zerret Speltz their backcourt. But

(21:13):
it's cliche and I know you guys probably heard it
all season with Texas A and M. Their best offense
is a misshot because they are number one in offensive rebounding.
Nobody rebounds the basketball better than this team. They're just
then because they're not a very good shooting team. That's
the key to beating them is you got to keep
them off the glass. But this kind of seems like
to buy a low spot for these guys, right They've

(21:34):
lost four in a row after they had won five
in a row starting in late January and then through
the middle of the month of February. But before they
lost to they lost at Mississippi State, they lost it
to Tennessee, they lost a Bandy at home, then they
lost at Florida. Look, you don't like to lose at home.
But they lost to four teams Vanderbilt. Maybe I don't
know if they're necessarily a lock to get in, but

(21:56):
three of those four certainly are NCAA tournament teams. And
in the SEC you're going to lose games. That's just
the way it is. They've been the best conference in
college basketball, I think by a country mile. This year,
I think they're going to get it done against Auburn here. Auburn,
you know, they're feeling themselves a little bit where they
got that big win at Kentucky, and I know this
isn't the bintish Kentucky, but it's still Kentucky. And you

(22:19):
still go in there and win it at rub easily
against the sold out crowds. So you're paying the premium
a little bit on Auburn, and I'm going to go
gig them Aggie's and I think that they have a
chance to maybe upset number one tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (22:31):
Well, back to the WCC here, I'm a little confused
by the board here for this one. Why has Gonzaga
favored Saint Mary's went seventeen and one in conference, that
one loss was by one point. They beaaten Zaga twice,
so they're the one seat here. Why am I getting
a plus one fifty price on Saint Mary's.

Speaker 7 (22:49):
You know, it's really interesting with Gonzaga because the numbers guys,
like the metrics guys, really love this team. They're number eight,
I think, still in the ken Pom, despite the fact
that they're three to eight, despite the fact that they
didn't win the conference, and really they're only well, they
got a couple good wins and non conference they beat
Taylor in the first game of the year one at
San Diego State. But those just so different because they're

(23:12):
early in here and then they put boots so you know,
what to my Indiana Hoosiers down there in the battle
for Atlantis. But uh, you know, two of those three
teams at least are better now than certainly when they
based them. But numbers guys really love these these Gonzaga
Bulldogs for some reason. And look, I think that they're
very capable, and they shoot the ball really well and
they don't turn it over. But now I am maybe

(23:34):
it's that old. It's difficult to beat a team three times.
I think that gets a little bit overplayed personally. But Gonzaga,
I think because they travel well, like they'll have probably
the biggest section here in Las Vegas, that, by the way,
is being held at the Orleans Arena, which is a
local place just a little bit west of the Strip
off of Tropiana. But yeah, I'm with you. I think

(23:59):
Mary's I think should absolutely be the favorite, or they
should at least be co favorites here. I'm not a
tie on gonzagas Tom Roy and Bartorvik and some of
the numbers guys that are.

Speaker 5 (24:10):
We have a little less than a couple of minutes left,
so just looking at the grand scheme of it all,
the national champion I always ask this question of our
guests this time of year, as you know, conference journeys
are on the horizon or underway in some cases, would
you want to sprinkle any national champions right now before

(24:31):
you've seen a bracket obviously, and we won't have that
for a couple of weeks other than maybe a couple
of long odds ones. Sort of sit that out maybe
more attack the final four market.

Speaker 7 (24:42):
Yeah, I think the final four market would be good.
I have like four futures that I think are in
pretty good shape, so I don't want to add too many.
I don't want to have a portfolio.

Speaker 6 (24:51):
Of like twelve of these.

Speaker 7 (24:53):
But I'd be looking like maybe final four market with
some of these teams that are a little bit down
the board, because there is that little f armula if
you use the Ken Pom Offensive been defensive efficiency rankings,
where you've got to have a top twenty five offense
and you've got to be combined fifty or less with
offensive and defensive. Then there's thirteen teams. I think as
of tonight they qualify. Of course the obvious Auburn duke

(25:16):
Forard certainly is one of them. Houston is one of them.
But go under the radar maybe for a couple of
these teams to make the final four that I don't
know if they can win a national championship, but I
think they can make a run. And one of those teams,
and I hate to say it, because I think the
ACC has just been a horror show this year. There's
only been three good teams, but one of those three
good teams is Clemson and they're seventeenth in offensive difficiency,

(25:40):
they're twenty fourth in defensive efficiency. Brad Brown now has
done a really good job. They've got They've got some
good talent on this team too, and they got fourteeniors
in the starting lineup. This is a veteran team, very
senior and junior heavy, not having to rely on a
lot of underclassmen. They shoot the three well. They make
you take a long time to get into your offense
with their backcourt guard, their darts pressuring. So Clemson might

(26:02):
be a team I think to look at in the
final four market. I think, you know there's gonna be
a couple others there. Some people are gonna look at Maryland,
maybe because they got a big guy and Derek Queen,
the freshman who's probably gonna be a lottery pick that
can score down low. But yeah, you don't want to
have too many. It is very rare that you get
a team outside that formula. I think it was the

(26:23):
Yukon and I forget the year. It's when Kevin Ollie
was the coach and Shabaz Napier just went absolutely bonkers
that they didn't qualify in those rankings. And in that formula.
But yeah, I think you want to attack the final
four market.

Speaker 6 (26:35):
And plus, like.

Speaker 7 (26:36):
You said, Adam, we hadn't seen a draw yet. You
may get like you may have a portfolio of five
futures and have like three or four of them in
the same region. Then you're like, well I got that
region covered, but it's the other three I don't have.

Speaker 5 (26:48):
Wes Reynolds once again from Vson, does a great job
handicapping college basketball among other things. Obviously you can get
them on Twitter at Wes Reynolds and the number one West.
Really enjoyed it. Man will definitely have you back. It's
going to be a busy month, but a really fun one.

Speaker 7 (27:03):
Yeah, I'm looking forward to it.

Speaker 6 (27:04):
Thanks fellas.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
All Right, we will step aside.

Speaker 1 (27:08):
If there are games to be played, there are bets
to be made.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
I'll bet you twenty bucks I can get you gambled
before the end of the day. No way, I'll give
you three to one ones.

Speaker 3 (27:18):
Five to.

Speaker 1 (27:22):
Get ahead of line movement, find in game value, and
hear the latest insights from your favorite industry experts.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
This is my gambling. If I win, we all win.

Speaker 1 (27:31):
Tell your smart speaker to play that Gambler with Adam
Kaufman on w RKO on iHeartRadio, we.

Speaker 5 (27:44):
Are back the Gambler with Adam Kaufman here on w RKO.
Of course, Dan Watkins is here, Brian budd on the board.
I am Adam. Thanks everyone for hanging out with us.
Our thanks again to Wes Reynolds who joined us, gave
us a lot of great stuff in the world of
college hoops. Be doing a lot of college basketball in
the days and weeks to come. It's a heavy hitter

(28:05):
here this month, and we're going to enjoy every single
second of it, including live sweating this Portland State, Montana
State or Montana pardon me combo This teaser that Dan
presented that I like a lot that we have made
show official as far as show plays. By the way,
we're we're all right right now. But my we have

(28:28):
I don't know if you notice this, Dan, but I
just figure I will. I will put it in the air,
I will announce it. Okay, we are double dipping on
Montana because I have Montana money line as part of
my Builder. Oh yeah, we are, Okay, So let's love
Montana tonight. Lock In Thompson Chowdery's choice we need one

(28:48):
more assist. He's at two still three minutes to go
in the second quarter. Cool, Hopefully we can get that home.
That would be nice. All right, Let's get into some
puck talk here with my pal Tom Vicky always been
on with us before from sports Grid. You can get
him on Twitter and find him at Tom Underscore Vecchio.
That is v C c h Io and the number one.

(29:09):
He and I Dan just we screw around on a
daily basis, basically putting together builders in the world of
basketball and hockey. He of course is here to talk
some hockey with us. And right now, Tom, we're sweating.
How are we doing on this last leg?

Speaker 3 (29:27):
Years We are sweating it down to sub two minutes
in the third, but it's tied and going to overtime
would present a good amount of open ice, hopefully for
Jake Wollman of the Santose Sharks to get one shot,
which one shot the.

Speaker 2 (29:44):
Whole game, Dan, He's played twenty three minutes. We need
one shot.

Speaker 4 (29:48):
It's been a tough night in the shots department. I
was on brock Nelson just to get to two when
he finished at one, and he had been at two
for like over ten straight games. So it's been a
right a night here.

Speaker 3 (29:59):
We think the the desperation with the aisles plus Nelson's
name involved in the trade market would spur a little
extra effort.

Speaker 4 (30:07):
Apparently not.

Speaker 5 (30:09):
Didn't we the last when when we lost yesterday? Right
because we were a couple of you know, dud days
in a row for us here.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
But when we.

Speaker 5 (30:17):
Lost this live wasn't wasn't that a Toronto guy or
am I imagining that right now?

Speaker 6 (30:21):
In my it was it was Mitch Morner last night.

Speaker 2 (30:25):
That's right, we'll just stay away from games.

Speaker 6 (30:28):
I think that might be the case.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
The may Ple Lice are a team that often get
a lot of public money. We see the line often
move in their favor just because there. You know, they're
the Dallas Cowboys essentially of the NHL, where they're just
such a public team.

Speaker 6 (30:42):
Everyone's been betting on them.

Speaker 3 (30:43):
There's such star talent, and when push comes to shoves,
they don't often deliver.

Speaker 5 (30:49):
Marner once again, no shots on net as things stand
right now. So root for us out there to get
that Wallman shot and keep our hopes and dreams alive.
But I know people don't care about our bets. What
you know, short slate in the NHL today and we'll
look toward tomorrow when it's a much larger one, but
very quickly on today, anything go really particularly well for you.

Speaker 6 (31:11):
As of now, No.

Speaker 3 (31:12):
I was on the Aisles Rangers over and you know,
over five and a half they've had at least six
goals and in the last ten games. Again a little
bit of desperation from the Aisles just because the trade
deadlines approached me and there's so much uncertainty with them,
and you know, frankly, the Isles got smacked around by
the Rangers last week. And you know, Rangers on a
back to back, you'd expect with the lineup changes that

(31:34):
the Rangers have, they have two rookies playing because they're
sitting some of their starters, you'd expect them to come
out with the full effort. And listen, I'm not talking
about putting up five to six goals by yourself, but
at least getting to two or three and the Rangers
get their two or three, and then we're at least
at the number right, we're at least live to hit
the over and of course the Aisles get shut out tonight.

Speaker 4 (31:52):
So Tom alex Ivashkian doesn't score tonight, doesn't get any
closer to Wayne Gretzky, but he smashed his shots prop.
I think in the first period or very early on
in the second, that line was at three and a
half to night ends up finishing with five. I mean,
he has just been over this consistently here since the
Four Nations break came to an end. Are you looking
to play ov pretty much every single night in some way,

(32:14):
shape or form here or is it still matchup defense dependent?
How are you looking to play Ovechkin down the stretch?

Speaker 3 (32:21):
So Ovechkin's goal hunt reminds me of the Aaron Judge
home run, you know, history they had a couple of
years ago, where we're often getting terrible numbers for his goalprop,
but his shot prop is far more interesting. You know,
when we're getting plus one oh five for a goldprop, like,
I don't consider that good just based on how I

(32:44):
like to approaching. I think like plus one thirty ish
for a Novechkins type players, where we really should be
getting in plus one forty somewhere around there. But if
he's not scoring, he's still going to be shooting. So
you can go to the shots pretty comfortably every night
and if you want to go a little sprinkle on
the goal, that's fine, but I just I just don't
consider it great odds.

Speaker 6 (33:01):
But the shots are totally fine.

Speaker 5 (33:03):
Let's look toward tomorrow here and start in our backyard.
The Bruins over at the Garden, playing host to the Predators.
This is a game that Boston is favored. I'm seeing
right around minus one thirty minus one thirty five, in
large part because the Predators absolutely stink. I mean, his
teams dropped too in a row seven of ten. It's
toward the bottom of the Western Conference in general and

(33:26):
NHL standings in general, only forty nine points and a
really bad road team six twenty and four. For anyone wondering,
thing is the Bruins not so great either, you know,
coming off a loss and playing more bad than good
in terms of the quality of their hockey of late.

(33:46):
Still very much in a wildcard hunt. They're only two
points out. Thing is they have Montreal, Ottawa, New York, Detroit,
Columbus all in front of them, and all of those
teams have at least won in some cases two games
in hand, so an important one down the stretch here
for the Bruins, how do you see this one playing out?

Speaker 3 (34:05):
The Bruins are the better team. Are they an amazing
team overall? No, but they are better compared to the Preds,
And you know, ultimately I would.

Speaker 6 (34:13):
Want an update on is Marshawn gonna play?

Speaker 3 (34:16):
He obviously didn't play in the second nd of the
back to back in Minnesota after'ing injured in Pittsburgh the
other day, so looking to someone to.

Speaker 6 (34:23):
Fill that role. Obviously the pasta you know, shot props
always gonna be.

Speaker 3 (34:28):
Four and a half, So I don't want to be
looking there and then really looking like what at their
power play, what is that going to look like for
the large part since Macvoice not there, Like who's going
to step up and fill these roles down the line?
So that I want the shot prop just because I
think there's more value there, just because at a certain
point there's uncertainty. And this is like based off of
reading beat writers and what they're seeing in line rushes

(34:49):
in practice and like digging into that because I think
that's where you gonna stract more value. I think the
money lines for the Bruins is totally fine. Tomorrow again
they are the better team and probably shading to the
under it. It's not going to be back and forth, Barnburner.

Speaker 4 (35:01):
So tom anytime the Colorado Avalanche or at home, I'm
looking to play Nathan McKinnon props tomorrow night. I was
banging the drum for him. The other night against Minnesota
finished at just two shots. We had him at three
and a half as a show. He did have a
few blocks there, so the attempts were there, just didn't
get enough on net. Tomorrow night, the lines aren't up yet,
but he's going against Pittsburgh who is just an absolute
sieve on defense right now. The Pens have given up

(35:23):
at least five goals in five out of six games
since the break, and that one game they didn't was
against the Bruins, who don't score on anybody these days.
I just think we're in for another night where McKinnon's
gonna just tool on someone in Colorado.

Speaker 3 (35:37):
Absolutely, and I love the fact that we have kind
of a replica of what we've had the past few
seasons when he's sitting at the top of the league
when it comes to points overall, and him and dry
Side are, you know, kind of juggling back and forth.
One night, you know, one takes the lead he has
a two point night, Drice will has a three point night, etcetera,
et cetera. So the points in the shots are always

(35:58):
great for McKinnon. And you know you can spring spring
on the goal prop as well. They should be I
would say running up to score against Pittsburgh.

Speaker 5 (36:06):
Looking at this Blue Jackets and Lightning game, and there's
you know, both are very good teams. Obviously, Columbus at
the top of the wild card standings there in the
Eastern Conference. Toronto or yeah to Tampa, will you know,
inevitably be a playoff team without having to worry about
the wild card standings. But these you know, you get

(36:27):
a good match up here. A Tampa team that at
home is excellent twenty one seven and two.

Speaker 2 (36:33):
Columbus when playing on the road not so good. That
being said for straight wins.

Speaker 5 (36:38):
You know, could I interest you in the dog here
at right around plus one fifty plus one sixty.

Speaker 6 (36:45):
Oh, I would say no on this one.

Speaker 3 (36:46):
You have Tampa just lost tonight against Florida. You know,
very very good team. The Blue Jacks are coming off
a big emotional win in this outdoor game that was
on Saturday night. You know, big moment two honor Johnny Gaudreau,
the lightning of the better team. And you know, Frankly, I,
as I've told at him before, I like to bet

(37:06):
on good teams that are coming off of losses. And
I'm not gonna be on a whole lot of teams
that are on win streaks, regardless of how good or
bad they. So you know, I wasn't on Tampa tonight.
I wasn't on the Panthers either, but if I had
to pick a side, would have been on Panthers. Just
teams are bound to lose, So I would be on
Tampa tomorrow, and specifically on their sixty minute line, which
means they they're winning regulation, which is only minus one

(37:27):
twenty five compared to the money line sitting at minus
one eighty four.

Speaker 4 (37:32):
So the biggest favorite on the board tomorrow night, guys,
is the Edmonton Oilers and Tom Edmonton had a really
rough road trip to come out of the break. Here,
they finally got that win, snapped their four game losing
streak where they were just giving up at least four
goals or more every single night. They beat Carolina on
Saturday three to one. Now they return home to take
on the Ducks Edmonton's minus three eighty five on the

(37:52):
money line. The puck line is minus one fifty. Connor
McDavid's been awfully quiet since the Four Nations tournament. I mean,
I don't want to just go on while he's due,
But this is Connor McDavid and he hasn't really been
on the score seet much lately.

Speaker 3 (38:07):
He hasn't and you know, frankly, I think the way
to go about it, especially when we have some of
these massive money lines we're gonna see more and more
as the season goes on. You know, teams obviously trade
away players that are bringing up younger players. You look
to that star player. Probably a two point night for
McDavid if we're being honest and you could, you could
play the puck line, which you know, I'm seeing it

(38:29):
sitting at a minus one and a half obviously, but
it's it's minus one fifty, which is not a spot
to go. You can't even play it in regulation for
the Oilers. They're gonna be sitting at minus two fifty
for a regulation win, which is insane. So it's it's
gonna come down to the team total because this is
what really the money line is implying it nearly you know,
minus four hundreds, implying that they're going to have control
this game from start to finish. It's not gonna be
a doubt. So I assume three and a half for

(38:51):
their team total. It may be juiced a little bit
to the over, but if you get the team total over,
David gets some points, Dry Sidle get some points. You
kind of just keep it as simple as possible because
they really need to write the ship.

Speaker 5 (39:03):
We've got Tom Vechio here with us from sports Grid
talking hockey looking ahead to tomorrow's slate. We can mix
in some futures as well. Stay with us, we'll be back.
We have Tom Vechio here with us from sports Grid
looking at tomorrow across the National Hockey League and final
game of the night. Tom is the wild and Cracking,

(39:26):
which is as close as you have anyway to a
pick him on tomorrow's slate. And even then, it's not
that the hometown Cracking minus one twenty even money. On
the wild side of things, Cracking are not a good
team obviously, They're not going anywhere. They're wildly inconsistent, kind
of perfectly mediocre of late. And this Minnesota team, while

(39:49):
it is not great either, is you know, at least
still has something to play for beyond pride. You know,
it's the team that's gonna be in the playoffs there
in the Central and hopefully avoids a a trip to
the wild card round. How do you look at this
contest with you know, ultimately a cracking team that I
don't know, I feel like is favored just because at home.

(40:12):
And it's really simple as that.

Speaker 6 (40:15):
It really does come down to that.

Speaker 3 (40:16):
It's it's also going to you know, if you had
asked me this twenty four hours from now, I would
say that the line doesn't stay there and probably moves
in favor of the Wild.

Speaker 6 (40:25):
There's a real chance to crack and sit some.

Speaker 3 (40:27):
Players just because of the trade deadline. They've got a
few players that are speculated to be traded. We've seen
it across the league. We saw the predsit dus Nyquist
the other day. The Rangers have sat Riley Smith the
past two games. So to see the crack and sit
some players and to see some of the oh the
wild of the better team, just the public money starts
flooding into them, I'm not going to be surprised.

Speaker 6 (40:48):
So I like the wild now.

Speaker 3 (40:50):
It's going to be an ugly game when we're looking
at tomorrows Lade, it's probably be the worst of the games.

Speaker 6 (40:54):
But I think the wild in the under just the
right side to be on.

Speaker 4 (40:57):
So the Dallas Stars tom there one of the bigger
favorites on the board here tomorrow night and minus one
sixty and climbing Jack Hughes probably out for New Jersey
after you took that nasty hit into the boards or
flew pretty much like just slid into the boards when
going after a puck with Eichel last night in Vegas,
do you poke? Do you even think about considering Jersey

(41:18):
at that price? Or would you just? Is it Dallas
or nothing?

Speaker 3 (41:22):
It's over or nothing for me. The Stars are an
absolute machine right now. If you look back at their
recent games, you want to go back to the first
few before the Four Nations break. The games this side
of the Four Nations break, they have at least four
goals in seven straight games, and their defense is not
as good as it has been, but they can get

(41:45):
games over by themselves. We're talking about six goals in
a lot of these recent games. They put up four
versus New Jersey Back when they played them the first
game after the break, So you could say, oh, are
the Devil's going to come out like a team spirit
because your best player got hurt?

Speaker 6 (41:59):
Maybe?

Speaker 3 (42:00):
Are the Stars lose, you know, bound to lose at
a certain point. Probably, But the over is the side
that I really want to be on.

Speaker 5 (42:06):
All right, Tom, I just want to mention we got
a legacy cash out of Wallman. He got a shot.

Speaker 3 (42:10):
I yeah, in overtime. I am watching it right.

Speaker 5 (42:13):
Now, Thank goodness, we stay alive going into the latter
part of the night, all right. So we haven't hit
every game, but there are only a few we haven't
looking at the slate on the whole, whether it's something
we've already talked about or something we haven't. Be it
a side total, prop you name it. What stands out
to you? What are some of the plays that are
definitely going to wind up on your card?

Speaker 3 (42:35):
So I'm already on the Canes and Red Wings over,
and I'm also going to be waiting for the Canes
team total to be posted. I assume again it'll be
three and a half looking back at these last few
games against the one that they lost to Edmonton the
other day, you know, digging into expected gold models, which
is obviously a little bit of a detailed topic, but

(42:58):
you know, we look at some of these moll again,
I'm doused by myself. I source them from Moneypuck dot com.
But four point one to one expected goals from the
Canes in that game they scored one actual goal. Game
against the Flames the next day four point two to
four expected goals and they only score two goals. This
has been the Caine thing for years at this point,
where they're just this powerhouse on offense, but it actually

(43:20):
comes down to just converting those chances, and the Detroit
defense is just not something that I'm worried about at
any point. So I like the over and I like
the Canes to put up some goals.

Speaker 4 (43:31):
NHL Trade deadline's Friday at three o'clock. Guys, Tom, anything
right now in the futures market that you're looking at
or are you waiting until after the deadline at this point?

Speaker 6 (43:40):
So I have a.

Speaker 3 (43:41):
Future two standing up futures, one on Tampa at seventeen
to one and one on the Jets at twenty to one.

Speaker 6 (43:49):
The Jets have had since much earlier in the year.
The Tampa one I've only had since last.

Speaker 3 (43:53):
Week, there's not much There's not much of an opportunity
at this point.

Speaker 6 (43:58):
The Devils with the.

Speaker 3 (44:00):
Hues injury is far far more damaging to their future
and especially where they sit. I got to say, the
Capitals are still under value now thirteen to one, and
they have the best record in the East. They're probably
gonna make some moves. I don't think they're gonna be
splashy moves, but they're gonna make some moves to sure
up that, you know, chure up the depth and man,

(44:20):
you're giving the Capitals versus the Hurricanes that at that
price thirteen to one compared to six and a half
to one, the Caps are gonna have home ice. The
way that they're rolling, that's where I would look. And
I still have to say that Vegas is a team
at five to one to win the West looks so good.
The Oilers two and a half to one. You tell
me right now, the Oilers are fraud. Basically, they're not

(44:42):
gonna get past the second round. When you have powerhouses
like Dallas and Colorado and Winnipeg, and then you have
a team like Vegas who's just willing to go all
in all the time. Every deadline but players on long term,
I R do this, do that? I like Vegas at
five to win to win the West.

Speaker 5 (44:58):
Which is a team obviously that you expect to make
noise ahead of the NHL trade deadline, which is approaching
here on Friday three pm Eastern For people that don't know,
you know, obviously that can really shuffle some things, not
only in terms of teams capable of making a run,
but just what these odds are going to look like.
For instance, you know, not knowing what any team is

(45:20):
going to do. You know, you might speculate who's a buyer,
who's a seller, but you don't know the impact of
who's going to move and how active a trade deadline
it will be. Is there a team you'd want to
get in ahead of saying all right, you know, I
can justify this number now, but I think they're going
to go out and do something. I'm going to lose
this number, so now's the time to lock it in.

Speaker 3 (45:42):
I would say that the Panthers come to mind, but
I don't think their number would move that much, you know,
seven to one, when the Stanley Cup would have drop
down to six and be tied with the the Edmunds oilers.

Speaker 6 (45:53):
Sure. Would the same thing be said about the East odds?
Would it move?

Speaker 3 (45:57):
Yes, I expect them to make a move because they
place Matskachuck on long term I ar, and now they
have eight million dollars of cap space. So to answer
your question, I expect the number to move, but it's
going from a short number to an even shorter number.
So if you want to take it at seven to
one and I anticipated to move to six to one,
that will happen.

Speaker 6 (46:17):
It's just not like a great number to have.

Speaker 4 (46:20):
The avalanche. You have to do something right. I mean
that second line center spot with Middlestat right now, they
could definitely upgrade there. I mean, I know they're they're
linked to Marshan right now. If he gets moved, obviously
he's not a center. But I feel like Colorado is
definitely gonna be looking for some secondary scoring here down
in this week.

Speaker 3 (46:37):
Yeah, they have to, and the play would be on
the Stanley Cup rather than the Conference at least that's
just the way I would play it. It's going to
be tough for them to have home ice considering where
they are in the central and fighting pat they're not
going to get to They could get to the second seat.
They're not going to get to the one seat and
catch Winnipeg, so to have home ice probably wouldn't happy.

(46:58):
You just played them at the Stanley Cup and again, yes,
I think they absolutely have to make a move to
shure up some things that you know, trading away Miko
Ranton and is one thing they have to move middle step.

Speaker 6 (47:07):
The rumors about Crosby, you are never going to come
to fruition.

Speaker 4 (47:10):
I wish, I wish.

Speaker 6 (47:12):
I would be great to see As a Rangers fan.

Speaker 3 (47:15):
I'm never going to root for Crosby, but I can
appreciate what I've seen from him and to see him
have one more chance would be cool.

Speaker 2 (47:22):
What do you expect from Mark Bruins here?

Speaker 3 (47:26):
They have to make some moves because on top of
the on top of the McAvoy and marsh On potential
injuries or we know McAvoy is out uh the team overall,
I think we're approaching a fork in the road where
we're not sure if they want to move forward with
some players. We're not sure if they want to rebuild.
Do they have the star power after the you know,

(47:47):
playoff colapse. So let's call them what they were of
the past few seasons. I think they need to clean
house and get a lot of these contracts off the
books and build around pasta and swing. And I think
that's what it comes down to, and wait till you
get healthier. Because I like the decort that they have,
they just don't have the offense to get done. And
I think acquiring younger players on easy contracts that have
offensive upside is the answer.

Speaker 5 (48:11):
Just looking here at the awards market quickly before we
let you go, And I mean most of these awards
are are pretty well decided at this point in time. Yeah,
I mean, hell you can like Vesna for instance. It's
I mean there's a tab of Hellibuck versus the field.
It's that kind of situation. But Heart Trophy regular season

(48:31):
MVP is not a lock. It's a two horse race.
Tell Abuck, it's dricidal. Where would you put your money?

Speaker 3 (48:39):
I would put on Hellibook because I enjoy the narrative
and a goalie hasn't won the Heart Trophy, sins carry
price in twenty fourteen.

Speaker 6 (48:48):
And Hellibuck's having that type of season.

Speaker 3 (48:51):
If I had to choose between those two, that's where
the answer is. Nathan McKinnon, though at six and a
half to one, where he could easily go back to
back and when in the heart it's even win the
Rocky Rashard. Now he's never going to catch Dries. I
don't think anyone's gonna catch Dries at a But it's
presumable that McKinnon can finish, uh, you know, the season
with the most.

Speaker 6 (49:11):
Points in the league and win the Art Ross.

Speaker 3 (49:13):
And then we'll see him be neck and neck and
have a chance to win the Heart Trophy again. And
I think he can do it, and I think we can.
You know, if we really want to dig in, we
can look at some isolated stats with his production after
Ranson then left, and that would only bolster his you know,
his his case that he can with the award. So listen,
hell of Buck would be great to see just because

(49:33):
goal he's undone it twice in the past twenty years
and not you know, not once in the last decade.
But McKinnon at six and a half to one is
a fun bet at this point.

Speaker 5 (49:42):
All right, Tom Vecchio once again from sports Grid, get
him on Twitter at Tom underscore Vecchio and the number one. Tom,
You'll you'll join right along with us because we as
a show. Are invested in Portland State, and I know
you and I as part of that builder are invested
in Portland State. Got down big early, but now ring

(50:02):
the gap here down by nine. Still technically favored here
on the live line, but eleven minutes ago in the
opening half. We got a ways to go in this one.
And we'll be chasing some Montana later as well, hopefully.
So Tom, thank you, sir.

Speaker 2 (50:15):
A lot of fun and we'll talk again soon.

Speaker 6 (50:19):
Absolutely, thanks for having me.

Speaker 2 (50:20):
All right, we will step aside, come on back with more.

Speaker 5 (50:24):
And you know, well, let's say this is a good opportunity,
I think Dan Bryan for us to mix in some
of what we saw over the past week, heard over
the past week in the world of the NFL combine
draft position, all of it.

Speaker 2 (50:36):
We'll come back with some of that on the other side.

Speaker 1 (50:39):
Now back to the Gambler with Adam Kaufman on six
to eighty WRKL streaming live on the iHeartRadio app, or
tell your smart speaker to play w RKO on iHeartRadio.
It's time for your bank roll repair.

Speaker 4 (50:57):
Powered by today's collision.

Speaker 2 (51:03):
Good news. Chowdry does it again.

Speaker 5 (51:07):
Chowdrey's choice is in even in that blowout that the
Pistons are up by almost thirty points, we get the
three assists out of Thompson.

Speaker 2 (51:15):
So stay hot, Sammy.

Speaker 5 (51:17):
Onto the bank roll repairs though, And I am right
now currently sitting in uh. I mean, I'm green. At
the moment, Detroit's going to win. So it's it's unless
we see an okay, see fourth quarter meltdown kind of
thing or that caliber by Detroit.

Speaker 2 (51:38):
But I don't think we will.

Speaker 5 (51:39):
And then again the double dip on Montana. So rooting
for Montana by you know, at least four points for
the sake of both bets, but on the money line
for my bank roll repair? Where do you stand?

Speaker 4 (51:51):
We need to pray? All right, Okay, I like to pray. Okay,
I think I just died. Yep, missed the three pointer
at the buzzer, So I don't stay lost at home
by three.

Speaker 3 (52:03):
Terrible.

Speaker 2 (52:04):
It's upsetting.

Speaker 4 (52:04):
Yeah, very they were like a six point favorite tonight.
That's that's really annoying.

Speaker 2 (52:09):
Well, let's still have a green night. Let's let's let's
chase the green.

Speaker 4 (52:14):
Yeah, we need Portland State to get going. That's what
we need. We need.

Speaker 2 (52:17):
Yeah, that's now on one's better than down to like
fourteen or whatever it was earlier. So just keep going.
How much time in the opening half left in that.

Speaker 4 (52:26):
One one minute?

Speaker 2 (52:30):
Okay? All right, what are you have for tomorrow?

Speaker 4 (52:32):
All right, So we're gonna try to make it up
to everybody tomorrow with a three leg in college basketball,
let's go Dayton, Creighton, and Purdue plus one oh two
on DraftKings.

Speaker 2 (52:41):
Couldn't find another team that ended in.

Speaker 4 (52:43):
I was thinking about it. I was trying to like
per per date, per Dayton. I don't know for Dayton
per Dayton.

Speaker 5 (52:51):
Uh, I am going to boy there there are a
scary number of heavy favorites in college basketball tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (52:58):
Yeah, I mean there are a lot.

Speaker 5 (53:01):
And so it's a function of sort of putting the
right combinations together, as I'm sure you dealt with, while
also sort of monitoring the juice because you know, while
I may screw around personally with these like eight ten,
twelve leg parlays, that's not what the bankroll repairs are.

Speaker 2 (53:19):
We don't do that to the people.

Speaker 5 (53:21):
Although you know, I'll tell you what you might enjoy
the all day sweat. I'm gonna give you a four
legger to college two pro Memphis, a road favorite at UTSA.
I'm not gonna lie makes me a little nervous, but
I do think Memphis ultimately is the better team and
the one that will win. Kentucky at home against LSU.

(53:44):
Kentucky is not a team that I necessarily believe in
long term, but I do. As a double digit favorite
at home tomorrow in the NBA, I will go to
Minnesota Timberwolves at home against Philadelphia. Remember, Sixers absolutely blow
and Tyrese Maxi I wouldn't be surprised if he misses
the game, And of course we already know there's no

(54:04):
Joelle Embiid, so how much can Andre Drummond do by himself?
Basically in this one from Minnesota, Anthony Edwards coming off
a great game last night, Andulius Randall is back in
that lineup. And then the Cleveland Cavaliers on the road
in Chicago. I don't know if we'll see Voussovich in
that game for the Bulls, who is a difference maker.
But I do expect Donovan Mitchell to be back after

(54:24):
he took a game off for Rest, so back in
the East leading Cavaliers in this one. So once again,
that is the Cavaliers, the Timberwolves, Kentucky and Memphis all
on the money line best odds and they do range
minus one nine on Caesars. That's what I've got for
you for tomorrow when we come back. A lot of
