Sweat your bets with Boston's only nightly betting.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Show, Gambling. I try to keep the gambling to an animal.
How do you do that? But being good at.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
It's The Gambler with Adam Kaufman, streaming live on the
iHeartRadio app. Miss a moment, subscribe to the podcast, Get
back to Adam Kaufman and Dan Watkins.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
There's been a lot of basketball talk on this show tonight,
mostly in the college streets and at the moment. Apologies
to the podcast listeners, this is not relevant to you,
but to the live listeners, We've got ourselves a hell
of a game between Houston and Kansas. They've played even
here in the second half, three point lead at the
break for Houston, three point lead now with about two
(00:51):
and a half minutes to go in regulation in this one.
So if you did as Wes Reynolds talked about earlier,
and so many of our friends in the space were invested,
if you did back Kansas at the plus nine and
a half plus ten, got to be filming pretty good
down the stretch here.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
Dan, Oh, yeah, definitely. I mean, I'm impressed by what
Kansas is doing here. But like we were also saying
this is the biggest underdog that they've been under Bill's
self most likely. So yeah, this is this is impressive here,
and if you're a Kansas fan, you gotta be holping
this the start of something big here the next couple
of weeks.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Well, I know you mentioned you have Houston money line
the builder, so hopefully that one gets home for you.
I was on a first half play and by the
skin of my teeth, that got home. So happy to
see that. And hopefully everybody is profitable here tonight. Let's
do a lot of NBA these next couple of segments.
We are going to momentarily be joined by Terrell Furman,
(01:42):
Sports Gambling Podcast, Network Betting Pros and just you know,
he's been all with this number of times before, typically
talking WNBA. He is, you know, equally well versed obviously
on the men's side. We've cast some parlay tickets with
Terrell before. We'll try and do so again tomorrow when
we give that out to you a little bit later.
We got a nice slate in front of us in
(02:02):
the NBA tomorrow and a whole lot of injury news
that is out right now as well. So before we
bring Torell Donald, just run down some of this for you,
no particular order. Steph Curry played tonight, left early with
an ankle injury. He said he is hopeful to play
tomorrow on this back to back for Golden State. There
is no Ben Simmons due to his knee. Derek Jones
(02:24):
groin ruled out Norman Powell, who left early in his
last game yesterday for the Clippers against the Lakers in
his return to the lineup hamstring injury. He has been
ruled out for tomorrow. Thank you, by the way, fanatics
for voiding his props yesterday despite playing a full quarter
and you know, like ten minutes and taking five shots
(02:45):
and having points in all of it. Fanatics, in its
chase for market share, voided him and I needed a
dozen points Dan out of Powell. He landed at four
and then left with the injury. But that leg got voided.
My builder's still cash because God bless fanatics. Once again,
just want to mention that Austin Reeves questionable for tomorrow
(03:05):
with the calf for the Lakers. Luka Dotcic questionable with
the knee. Lebron James injury management probable, so expect to
see him out there for the Calves included them as
mentioned in the bank roll repair just to win tomorrow.
Evan Mobley is not playing, but Donovan Mitchell will return.
Rudy Gobert injury maintenance, ruled out for tomorrow for the Timberwolves.
(03:26):
Julius Randall, who I mentioned, he came back last game groin.
He's questionable for the Spurs. Stefan Castle is questionable as well,
Lonzo Ball questionable, Josh Giddy is questionable. Kobe White is probable.
I mentioned Vucevich for the Bulls because we're going against
them with Cleveland, he has been ruled out with the calf,
(03:47):
so he's not going to play. That's good. Karl Anthony
Town's questionable personal issue there for the Knicks. Kyle Kuzma
doubtful for the Bucks, but Giannis is probable, Dame is probable,
and Deangel actually Dame is not even on the injury report.
He'll go. Grady Dick ruled out pelvis, which is ironic,
and D'Angelo Russell ankle not on the injury report. That
(04:10):
is what we have. And now we have Terrell firm
and on Twitter at really Rell and a pair of underscores. Terrell,
it's up bud. He was going on just uh, you know,
trying to make some money tonight. You know what, you
and I were texting earlier about what this slate was
going to look like. Uh, with all those guys ruled
(04:30):
out for the Rockets, looked like it was going to
be a smash spot for the Thunder. Wasn't really. I
mean they won, but didn't cover the number, and the
inflated number at that against Houston only one by nine
in that game. A lot of people expected the Grizzlies
to win. They did, but did not cover the number.
A heat runaway win. Yeah, oh no, you're right, you're right. Yeah, no,
(04:55):
they fail. I'm sorry, you're right. They fell one one thirty.
Got ahead of myself, So yeah, lost at the very
end of that one. Of course, the Sixers continue to stink,
the Warriors taking care of business against the Hornets, Kings.
You know, a lot of people like Sacramento tonight. It
was a what two and a half point line one
and a half point line by the time it closed,
(05:17):
and just slack the Mavericks. Kyrie Irving left that one
early with an injury. So a lot of things I think,
you know, as the Pistons beat up on the Jazz too.
A lot of things did play out as expected, But
any big surprises for you.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
Tonight, I wouldn't necessarily say it was a big surprise
by the Atlanta Hawks, but it was just more surprising
how the Grizzlies lost the game and Desmond Bine just
I mean, there was ever a probe in the gambling.
I think desmen Bane's fourth quarters very much should spark
that probe into an investigation of desin Bane and if
(05:53):
he has any accounts going on, maybe over there fanatic
or something like that, fan Duel. I don't know, he's
got to have something going on because it was a
bunch of weird three pointers and then he gives the
ball up to the great Barrier thief in Dyson Daniels,
who gets another steal on the season and kicks out
some avert for a game when it lay up. I'm
very very confused on how Missus lost that game, but
(06:17):
a lot of it was designating this time around.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
Yeah, Daniels has been incredible this year as a thief,
no doubt about it. As we look toward tomorrow, there
are two heavy favorites, like heavy heavy double digit favorites.
You have the Calves who open at thirteen now eleven
and a half twelve point favorites in Chicago, and the
Timberwolves who open eleven and a half now twelve all
(06:40):
the way up to I think just spandel a thirteen
and a half am I seeing that right now either
way heavy favorites, they're at home against again the should
be tanking sixers. Is there a trouble spot in either
of these two games or do the favorites take care
of business with these.
Speaker 4 (06:58):
I think for sure that is probably with ease in
the Philadelphia game. I mean Tyrese MAXI really that hand
is just a lot and he really can't get it
going right now. We don't know if Paul George is
playing any given night in night out or what he
has going on. It seems like this team is going
down under and probably about to buy into the tank
(07:20):
very very soon here and start thinking about the future.
Whereas Minnesota got Julius Rentol back and that starts to
reinvigorate their offense and they were able to go out
there score one to sixteen and get a nice win
on the road a Phoenix. So I think that Minnesota's
starting to send upward getting Randall back, maybe they can
find some offense and look a lot better, whereas the
(07:43):
Philadelphia seventy six ers look like they're going towards the
bottom of the league, so I think there. I feel
very confident in Minnesota probably getting the cover there, not
as much as Cleveland because the Bulls can get feisty
at times and this could be a little bit of
a letdown after Cleveland having a good stretch run of
games here. They just were laying eleven against the Portland
(08:03):
shrub Blazers, and the Blazers were able to keep that
one close from the majority of the game. So I'm
not as old as Cleveland laying the big number right
now as they am Minnesota.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
So Terrell, the Lakers are also a pretty decent sized
favorite tomorrow, laying eight points at home here. You can
still find a couple of seven and a half's out
there as well as they take on the Pelicans tomorrow
night LA seven and two. Since Luka Danchetz started suiting
up for them, they've just been rolling, been a lot
of fun to watch. Offensively, we know Lebron James needs
one point tomorrow night to reach fifty thousand combined playoffs
(08:34):
in regular season in his career. I'm sure there will
be a ton of lebron first Basket props tomorrow. But
the Pelicans here have all of a sudden become really
pesky Zion Williamson's back. They've won four out of their
last five. What's your look on this game?
Speaker 4 (08:52):
They're gonna have to find ways to score to basketball
because the Lakers have actually gotten really really solid defensively
ever since the Alls break. I'm looking here and yeah, no,
they are oh and seven to the total, So they
have not gone over in any of those games since
the All Star Break, really really locked in on the
defensive side of the ball. So I might be looking
(09:13):
at the total there and just continuing to follow that. Yeah,
they have not gone over once. So very very good
trend going there with the Lakers games going under in
them defensively really handling business. And maybe that's what it is.
Maybe it's a team total under for the Pelicans because
just like that total is oh to seven, the opponent
team total is oh and seven, and I mean the
(09:35):
Pelicans struggle to score the basketball period two and four,
I'm sorry two and foward to their team total over
since the All star breaks, so they've been struggling to
score the basketball. The Lakers have been really, really solid defensively.
I don't know if I can get there on Lakers
laying eight yet because all the flair and everything that
(09:55):
goes with Lebron scoring the fifty thousand points and all
the excess factors. But I think that they're going to
be really solid defensively and keep the Pelicans from scoring.
So I like this game to go seem total under
for the Pelicans.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
Right now, let's stay with Lebron for a second. I'm looking.
I don't think any props have been posted yet across
the books for him. But you know, personally, I'm just
I'm shocked. You know, we talked about him a little
bit yesterday on Sports Grid. I'm shocked that Lebron didn't
get never mind didn't cash is over yesterday. I'm shocked
he didn't get to the eighteen points, not for a
(10:28):
lack of trying. I think he took seventeen shots, he
just didn't get there. Laned it at seventeen. So Dan mentioned,
you know, first basket props. I think that if it
stays consistent, his first basket yesterday was best number was
right around plus five fifty. That's one approach if you
were to believe in it, think it's worth a sprinkle.
You could look at his first quarter points prop just
(10:49):
assuming he's, you know, gonna go out and have an
aggressive first quarter, even though I realize one free throw
is all it takes. It's not like he needs a
nine point quarter or something like that. And then again
you just have the you know, full game approach. You
know what, what Lebron do you think we see tomorrow
in this pursuit of history.
Speaker 4 (11:08):
I'd be interested in a uh, first attempt miss. I
don't know if there's a prop out there like that,
but that he goes for it really really early, tries
to force something up and it's a miss, and then
we wait, like maybe you know that might be a
little saved from the first basket. I don't know, you
can have flu with that. I think that's something you
can have flu with. I'll probably get down on lebron
(11:30):
first basket tomorrow because and probably a first basket layup
type thing of him just being strong getting to the
basket and saying, all right, I'm gonna get it easy,
let's get it out of the way and let's focus
on the rest of the game. So yeah, I like
that angle.
Speaker 3 (11:43):
You're saying, there's no way he does it with a
free throw though, right, I know he just needs one pointed.
Speaker 4 (11:48):
No, because no, what if he gets found. He could
definitely get fouled going to the room.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
And Lebron loves the.
Speaker 3 (11:54):
Moment him totally batching those free throws, totally just throwing
the free throws about purpose.
Speaker 5 (12:00):
I could see him doing that.
Speaker 2 (12:03):
It's got to be with an emphatic old man dunk
ohsterized some dude. Terrell Ferman here with us from again
Betting Pros and Sports Gambling Podcast Network, will come back
a deeper dive into tomorrow's slate and of course a
people's parlay for tomorrow as well. Terrell Firman here with
(12:30):
us from the Sports Gambling Podcast Network and Betting Pros
talking NBA looking ahead to the Tuesday slate. And look,
maybe I'm tipping my hand here, guys, I'm still debating.
But the play that I just keep looking at and
I intentionally left this out of my builder earlier because
I didn't want to double dip is box to cover
(12:52):
in Atlanta. Seeing a five and a half out there
right now. Wanted to see if this is consistent. It
is five and a half universally at the moment, and
Bucks arrested. Giannis is playing great, Lillard's playing great. I
mentioned there's likely no Kuzma. I'm not sure that's enough
to send me to the Hawks side of things. They're
you know, coming off playing today, lack arrests, the back
(13:14):
to back all of that, and I just think that
you know, and also not that we know, but we're
getting closer, if not there to Giannis being off of
that minute's limit. So he's been kind of consistently at
that thirty one, thirty two to thirty three over the
last three four games whatever, it's been exactly. So I
like the Bucks Terrell to take care of business. I'm
(13:35):
not saying it's going to be a runaway win, but
I do like him to win. How do you see
this game?
Speaker 4 (13:41):
Yeah? I like this game. I didn't get there on
the Bucks side, but I did take an angle back
in the Bucks defense because they've been really really good
post to All Star Break. You're looking at their defense.
They're giving up one hundred and eight points per game
since the All Star Break. That is eighth best in
the NBA of very good defending without fouling as well
(14:03):
the second in free throw rate allowed. So yeah, I'm
really really big on this Bucks team. I think defensively
they've been really good. And then you got a nice
trend here fading the Atlanta Hawks on the second legs
back to back this season. They're coming off of a
when we just talked about it last second over there
against Mia, not Minnesota, against Memphis, and then they fly
(14:23):
home play this game, and on the second legs of
back to back all season, they are two and ten
to their team total, so very very strong under trend,
going ten and two to their team total under I'm
backing them to go under their team total one night
seam and a half here.
Speaker 3 (14:39):
So we got the Clippers taking on the Suns in
Phoenix tomorrow night. Guys, both these teams, Terrell are really
struggling at the moment. The Clips have lost five out
of six. The Suns have lost eight out of ten.
Kevin Durant says they embarrassed themselves last night against Minnesota.
This line opened up with Phoenix as a slight favorite
that since flipped and now you can get the clip.
(15:00):
The Clippers are now favored by as much as two
and a half on some books.
Speaker 5 (15:03):
Who do you like in this matchup tomorrow night?
Speaker 4 (15:06):
Oh? I want nothing to do with this game. I
don't know why you went to this one. Everything else
on the board, all the other things that we had
on the board to talk about, and you come to
ask me about the Clippers in the site.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
I like to wallow in misery.
Speaker 5 (15:17):
What can I say?
Speaker 4 (15:19):
Yeah, Like, there's no reason the Clippers should be laying
points at this point in time, And there's no reason
to back the Phoenix Suns at all whatsoever, like either
one of these two teams or anybody I want to back,
And honestly, I couldn't feel comfortable putting money down on
either one of them to win a game right now?
Speaker 2 (15:35):
What about the Knicks as four to four and a
half point favorites at home against the Warriors. You know,
I mentioned that we'll see if we get punds in
this one, But again, Curry the expectation that, well, he
hopes to play, but maybe he doesn't. Certainly, if you
believe there's any chance Curry gets ruled out, you may
as well lock it in with the Knicks now because
that number will soar, But what's the from the outset
(15:59):
the night before? Look on this.
Speaker 4 (16:00):
Game, I think I really really really really really like
the Knicks year. I think I do. I understand that
the Warriors have been playing very solid ball since Jimmy,
but I also will admit that I think their level
of competition has been not the highest. I mean, we're
(16:20):
looking here. They just played Charlotte, played Filly the game
before that and ended up actually losing that game. Good
luck there. Orlando's kind of been reeling. They had Charlotte again,
Dallas has been injured, Sacramento hasn't been good. Like I
just think that this Knicks team, if it's not the
(16:42):
top three four teams in the league, which is Boston, Cleveland, OKC,
then the Knicks are probably beating you, like more than likely,
the Knicks are probably getting to win there. I just
feel like there's a clear gap of the Knicks are
a really good team, not a great team. They're not
gonna beat the three teams, but I think they should
be able to handle Gold to State with cat down low.
(17:04):
They have the size that they should be able to
really challenge them inside the post. I think I like
the next year to get it done.
Speaker 5 (17:11):
Houston and Indiana should be fun tomorrow night. Guys.
Speaker 3 (17:13):
The Rockets coming in off of back to back, they
just allowed one hundred and thirty seven points.
Speaker 5 (17:17):
To Okay, go play anyone tomorrow, right.
Speaker 3 (17:20):
We'll find out. But anyways, the line here is at
four Terrell, three and a half or four in favor
of the Pacers. You laying the points of the home
team are grabbing them with Houston.
Speaker 4 (17:30):
No, I think I like Houston actually, because what if
they I mean, I'm in Thompson, Applin, Shane Gould were
game time decisions and they didn't go. I think Dylan
Brooks also was the game time decision. Steven Adams ended
up suiting. Tari Easton was ruled out early in the
day and that was labeled as injury management. There could
(17:50):
be a possibility that they said, all right, let's punt
the first half of the back to back end, Hey,
let's play everybody the second half. So I'm watching this
injury report, but also I'll probably be getting down on
a very good Houston Rockets trend here on the second leg,
on a second lego of back to back, their defense
really really comes alive and they really really put on
a good defensive effort. They are four and ten to
(18:15):
the total on the second legs of back to back
this season, and they've been really really dominant four and
ten to their opponent's team total as well, So really
really solid defense by the Rockets. If they're healthy, I
like them to have a good defensive outing and I'll
probably be taking the same total on dor Pacers.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
Magic or struggling Raptors are bad. Makes for an intriguing
matchup here. Orlando a seven point favorite at home. It's
this this to me, I don't know about you, Terrell.
This to me screams. People are going to tell you
Toronto plus seven is the play. That's how people are
gonna bet it. And then Orlando wins by like fourteen points.
Speaker 4 (18:57):
Yeah, I think that. And it's also a deja vu game.
And you know, I've labeled these sets where we've had
these little baseball play each other in back to back
game sets here and it was the dog Toronto that
got to win the first time after friends. Rogner just
smoked the lay up at the end of the game,
and you know it ended up it could have went
(19:18):
to overtime and they could have won it in overtime,
but it ended up missing and so they lost to
Toronto there. Now they played them immediately, they are the favorite.
I think, hey, all right, they kind of got snuck
that first game. They still played really well at home.
They're going to be reeling off to that loss. I
think I like Orlando in the second game to go
get some revenge after immediately just losing to the Raptors.
Speaker 3 (19:40):
So I thank all we have left here is Brooklyn
and San Antonio and the last. Yeah, the Spurs are
a four and a half or five point favorite. Terrell Brooklyn.
They went on that little streak there, that little hot
stretch for a few weeks that is, you know, it
feels like a year ago at this point, as they've
just been losing ever since. San Antonio has been a
(20:01):
mess since Onebye went down. I mean, do you have
anything in this game that you like? Or is this
another stayaway spot?
Speaker 4 (20:07):
Yeah, it probably end up being a stay away spot.
But there's no way I could possibly ever lay points
with san Antonio right now, three or seven in their
last ten games against the spread. It's been horrible, Like
you said, since Wenby's gone down. I want nothing to
do with san Antonio. If there was a bet to
place in this, I would only look towards the Brooklyn
side of the ball, or I just would stay away.
Speaker 2 (20:29):
Obviously, we're very early with respect to the prop market,
not a whole lot posted yet, But anything that you
have your eye out for, you're waiting for lines to
come out, and there's something you want to attack. In
the wake of the injury news that we are aware of.
Speaker 4 (20:45):
For that Rockets game, I just I want to make
sure that everything is good to go. Maybe we get
Tarry Easton a really good wing defender. We get am
and Thompson back in the line up, a very good
wing defender. I would feel very a lot better if
we got all those defenders back for the Rockets and
just going in and saying that Indiana has a let
down at home and take the team total under or
(21:07):
even a Rockets money line play. Like the Rockets are
a really good team and I don't think a lot
of people are talking about it enough. I think they
can go on the road to Indiana and get a
win out right with everybody healthy. So I'm really really
tapped into that Rockets injury report.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
Why do you real quickly, why do you suppose that
they're managing the roster as they are right now, it's probably.
Speaker 4 (21:29):
A little bit more going on behind the scenes that
we think. Like Tarry Easton, they've been really really slow
with him ever since he got hurt, and just making
sure he's good. I think the number one thing for
the Rockets is getting everybody to the playoffs. I think
that's what they're focused on right now. Hey, let's make
sure we have a roster to be able to do
a playoff run and then we'll figure it out from there.
Speaker 2 (21:52):
All right, let's get to the People's Parlay here. And
I had forgotten. I guess there'd been so long since
Drell had been with us, or at least part of
a parlay with us, that you know quite the how
alarming these numbers really are. And it's not. It's not
Terrell's fault by a long shot. Here's the deal. Terrell's
(22:12):
official show plays Dan are seven and one. He has
been outrageous. He's been outrageous with seven and one nice
the people. The People's Parlay is two and six. So
you and I or both, I don't even know. I'd
have to go back and look. But Terrell, more often
than not, doing his part. We need to we need
(22:35):
to pick up the slack a little bit and contribute
to this thing. But the pressure, you know, because of
that little hype there, the pressure on. Yeah, pressure's on
you to deliver again tomorrow. So favorite play? What do
you got?
Speaker 4 (22:49):
I'll sticking to that Hawks game. Man, give me the
Hawks team so under one nineteen and a half. It's
a very very strong trend of them not performing on
the second leg of a back to back. You talked
about it, a Milwaukee Bucks are healthy, and so I
think that they're going to be really really They're healthy,
they're rested. I think they're going to be locked in
defensively on the road here in Atlanta. Yeah, give me
the Hawks not to score one hundred and twenty points,
(23:12):
all right, Dan.
Speaker 3 (23:13):
Yeah, I'm going with another team that's getting healthy. But
I'm going to college basketball. Let's lay the eight and
a half with Iowa State the Cyclones at home tomorrow
night taking on BYU. Iowa State's getting healthy here. We
saw them get some of their players back Saturday night
against Arizona. They won that game by seventeen. Now they
take on BYU tomorrow night, who I know has been
(23:33):
red hot as of late, but I think they're gonna
cool off tomorrow night when they head out on the
road to take on Iowa. Stay in this conference matchup.
So give me the Cyclones by eight and a half
tomorrow night.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
Okay, And look, I don't know what this is gonna
Brian shopping it around, So I don't know what this
is going to do to the parlay other than know
that the play I'm going to give you is going
to be super correlated, and that is I like the
Bucks to cover. Obviously, that goes right hand in hand
with what rug as far as the Hawks team total under.
But I like the Bucks minus five and a half
(24:05):
quite a bit in this spot. Tomorrow we see what
kind of injury news potentially goes in our favor as
well with this one, if anyone on the back to
back gets ruled out for the Hawks. But no surprise,
it is a smaller parlay than what we are used to,
you know, usually chasing these like five, six, seven to ones, whatever.
(24:25):
Only one book has this possible right now, and that
is DraftKings plus three sixty seven. But you know what's
good about a plus three sixty seven parlay when it
hits guys, that it hits. That's what we're looking for tomorrow.
Let's try and bring this one home.
Speaker 5 (24:41):
Let's do it.
Speaker 4 (24:42):
Yeah, let's do it all right.
Speaker 2 (24:44):
So again that is Iowa State to cover, Bucks to
cover in the team total under on the Hawks, plus
three sixty seven on DraftKings. Terrell Furman Sports Gambling Podcast,
Network Betting Pros on Twitter at really rel and then
two underscores Terrell, look forward to having you back.
Speaker 4 (25:00):
Man always can't wait.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
All right, we'll step aside, come on back and check
in on show plays. Great stuff out of Terrell Furman
and all of our guests, Tom Vickyo and Wes Reynolds earlier.
A lot of good insights into the NBA tomorrow. About
the only thing, Dan that we didn't talk about with
Terrell is just the sort of the I don't know,
(25:24):
I feel like I'll mention this every couple of days
or something, but the PSA, the public service announcement required
for people here in March, the stretch run of the
regular season in the NBA, where you know, we talk
about it throughout the year, but you're really over these
last few days seeing it. I mean, it's true, it's
a problem, honestly, as a better especially if you're someone
(25:46):
that likes to attack unders, which is you know, people
can scoff and say how boring that is, But unders
are in the grand scheme of gambling. Any professional gambler
will tell you that unders are generally far more profitable
than overs. You know, we've had our experience with it
(26:06):
as well, all you know. And and but now, especially
if you like to bet unders early in the day,
you know, trying to take advantage of something, it can
work against you. You know, lines can move drastically when
a star or a player that is a regular part
of the rotation gets ruled out close to game time
(26:26):
or or you know, in the case of like the
Rockets or the Jazz today both hell like both those
entire teams practically got ruled out, Like the Rocket's ruled
out essentially everyone other than Jalen Green the the Jazz
you know, left Walker Kessler out there, and you know,
Keyante George and little else. And so this is just
(26:48):
the stuff that in the NBA you need to be
aware of, you know, And obviously it impacts sides totals everything,
you know, and and you know, so I would say,
if you like overs, go ahead, bet bet those with ease,
because it can only work in your favor ultimately, you know,
a guy gets ruled out, your guy gets more opportunity, terrific.
The only way I guess it could work against you
(27:09):
is if you're betting that over because you believe someone
is going to get ruled out and then they don't.
You know, then all right, fine, that's that's potentially a problem.
But you know, it's very rare that a guy gets
ruled in when the assumption is he's not going to play.
So this is the stuff that you got to watch
for here in the stretch run again the final quarter
a little less than that, even of the NBA season,
(27:32):
when just all this news it's so fast and furious,
and find your accounts like I, you know, am a
big like I have notifications on for the Underdog NBA account.
You know, you get all the lineup alerts and and
injury news, and they compile all the updates across the
(27:55):
league pretty much to the moment as they happen. You know,
same time that your beat reporters in whatever city are
gonna tweet them out, this account is tweeting them out.
And so just a great resource because it can it
can turn it can lead to great money making opportunities,
or turn your bet sideways one way or the other
in a hurry. All of this injury news that you
(28:18):
see in the NBA, and we see it all season long,
but it's really ramping up over this next month.
Speaker 5 (28:24):
Yeah, definitely.
Speaker 3 (28:24):
I mean it's been it's been a crazy season with
this kind of news, like you said, and yeah, down
the stretch here with certain teams that have nothing to
play for other than you know, ping pong balls, could
really be shutting it down. So you got to you
gotta keep an eye on it.
Speaker 2 (28:39):
So as far as show plays, when we have loaded
in by the way to the Action app all the
plays that we've given you for tomorrow, and there are
six of them between the three straights, the multiple bank
roll repairs and of course the People's parlay tonight, Dan's
bankroll repair is dead unfortunately at Thompson over On assists
(29:01):
Chowndry's choice Sammy Chowdry stays hot. Those are the only
two that are decided in this moment and everything else.
There are three other bets are Sweat Montana money line
is part of mine. They are down right now at
Home by seven to Eastern Washington, two and a half
minutes to go, opening half. Still on the live line
(29:22):
three and a half point favorites and two to one
favorites to win this game. So the books still like Montana,
but just telling you how it exists. Right now, we
are sweating out the group pick that we added, which
again Montana is part of. We need Montana buy that
minus three and a half, need them buy at least
(29:42):
four points, but also need Portland State by at least eight,
and conveniently enough right now up by six. The live
line is minus seven and a half, six and a
half to go at home against Sacramento State. So sweaty,
very sweaty. Those are the two plays three.
Speaker 3 (30:00):
And did uh did Montana end up clinching beforehand? Or
do they have something to play for right now? Which
it was in Northern Colorado?
Speaker 2 (30:08):
I think so, but I will double check ay one.
Speaker 3 (30:12):
So they're fifteen and three in the Big Sky Montana
State fourteen and three, so they do have something to
play for here, so hopefully hopefully they ramp it up good.
Speaker 2 (30:20):
Although does it matter like in terms of tie breakers
or anything like that?
Speaker 5 (30:25):
Oh, I don't know that far.
Speaker 2 (30:27):
Yeah, that's yeah, let me there was I saw it
in an article earlier and now I'm just trying to
remember it. May have to scan around and find, you know,
look around for it. But there are a couple of
sites that I generally.
Speaker 5 (30:45):
Visit more than they went at each other.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
So yeah, so in this article here on Winners and
Whiners dot Com, I do like that side a lot.
Should Northern Colorado beat Weaber State on my day, Montana
will finish second, Eastern Washington will remain eighth regardless of
outcome for their encounter, nothing to play for then, yeah,
(31:11):
so both effectively are playing for pride, which you know,
we talked about this with Wes Reynolds. We knew this
was a possibility. It's more the which team is better
and also again narrative street, but the senior night component sure,
(31:32):
where again Montana's best players are seniors because this is
not you know, Duke Auburn Houston right Whoever, So we'll see,
we'll be sweating that one out long after the show
is over, but hopefully it goes in our favorite would
cap would cap a nice profitable day for the show
(31:53):
if we can get ourselves there before we hit the
break though, we were talking about the Patriots a little
bit early earlier on and just sort of what free
agency might look like and combine reflections and all that. Again,
maybe we get a Pats person on here this week
to you know, get the boots on the ground experience.
But in terms of some of these other players changing
(32:17):
homes across the NFL or looking like they're going to
one that just did obviously, even though it's not technically
official until the start of the league year. March twelfth,
Deebo Samuel, you know, off from the Niners to Washington
and one of the first things a buddy texted me,
and I thought it was a good look, you know,
Jade and Daniels eleven to one. MVP is you know,
(32:39):
it all depends on whether you think he's going to
be as good in year two, whether McLaurin will be
as helpful, whether Debo can be any semblance of healthy,
which really it's been very up and down these last
couple of years. But what do you think this does
for the Commanders, never mind obviously the potential hurt for
the Niners.
Speaker 3 (32:58):
Yeah, I mean, we'll see it kind of feel like
San Francisco just with the injuries and stuff. It started
to phase him out this year. I mean, it was
a really disappointing year for Deebo. I'm wondering, you know
how much you know what kind of debo we're gonna
get in Washington, you know.
Speaker 2 (33:11):
Yeah, I mean.
Speaker 3 (33:12):
He is just so creative, and he is creative, but
I just think that the wear and tear that Samuel's
taking in his career and how Kyle Shanahan and that
offensive has just pretty much beaten him down and just
warn him down over the past few seasons. I mean,
handing him the ball in the backfield, having him run
through that way like a lot of miles on those
legs with Deebo Samuel, Yeah, I mean, Jayden MVP is
(33:37):
definitely an interesting look. I'm sure a lot of people
are going to be on that and we'll see. I mean, well,
he had some sort of a sophomore slump. I mean
that does usually come for most of these guys here,
but we'll find out. I mean, if there's someone that
can do it and break that, break that trend that mold,
it definitely would be Jaden Daniels.
Speaker 5 (33:53):
It's interesting.
Speaker 3 (33:54):
I mean, I still don't I don't like Washington over
Philly or anything like that right now. No, A lot,
a lot, a lot of work to do there.
Speaker 2 (34:01):
But although look, I mean I don't I shouldn't have
said no as quickly. I don't know that. I don't.
I know, Philadelphia just won out and won the Super
Bowl and had a great year, for sure, But in
the back of my mind is the whole team hasn't
won the NFC East and back to back years in
(34:21):
two decades, right And it's not going to be Dallas,
and it's not going to be the Giants.
Speaker 3 (34:25):
That's fair, But I and that Washington defense still has
some big time question marks too though. That Philly defense,
I mean, I know they're gonna lose Josh Sweat most likely,
and maybe another defensive tackle there. But for the most part,
a lot of those guys are those young Georgia guys
that are still all on team friendly deals, so that
I don't think that Eagles team's really going anywhere.
Speaker 5 (34:43):
Next year, they.
Speaker 3 (34:43):
Might be the they could definitely be the first team
to win back to back division titles.
Speaker 2 (34:48):
Yeah, entirely possible, and you'd think be motivated to come
out and show that it wasn't, you know, not that
anyone thinks it was I don't think, but there was
nothing fraudulent about that title that they're they're, you know,
poise to put together a little bit of a run.
We will see. We'll step back, you know, step aside,
come on back with one very obvious play that we
(35:09):
mentioned earlier, but having truly discussed and do we want
to make it a show play for tomorrow stay with us.
Just looking at the Fanatic Sports book on Twitter, and
I mentioned what happened for me last night with Norman Powell. Well,
it looks like for anyone who invested in Kyrie Irving
(35:30):
or Jaron Jackson Junior tonight, same story. Both guys left
in the opening quarter with injuries. Player props will either
get refunded in cash or settled as a win if
part of your parlay. The rest of your bet will
still play out. Any bets settled before the injury will stand.
Meaning if you're on their unders, great, you win. If
(35:52):
you're on the rovers, you avoid. It is wild what
Fanatics is doing right now for market share.
Speaker 3 (35:59):
Yeah, they're just try I need get anybody if they
possibly can to download their app.
Speaker 2 (36:03):
It's crazy crazy. Anyway, we mentioned Lebron James earlier. It
is about as narrative street as it gets one point
away from becoming the first NBA player with fifty thousand
and again, I thought he'd get to eighteen last night.
I know you did too. Didn't happen? Do we want
(36:26):
and it's not posted yet, we can't give you the odds,
but do we want lebron first basket sprinkle as a show?
Do we want the first quarter line? I don't know
that we necessarily want to go after the full game
line that's twenty six and a half. But how are
you feeling about Lebron in this game tomorrow and this narrative?
Speaker 3 (36:46):
I mean it's one point, I don't know. I mean
he doesn't necessarily I mean what if New Orleans gets
the ball and they go down and score then, like.
Speaker 2 (36:52):
I don't, Yeah, that loses how that works.
Speaker 3 (36:55):
I mean, I know it's I know it's probably gonna
be an extremely chalky play tomorrow, but I'm not gonna
have any part of it.
Speaker 2 (37:01):
No, okay, chockey at plus money, I mean definitely you
know that, like both both things will be true.
Speaker 5 (37:10):
Yeah, no, it's just not something I'm not going to
look to play it.
Speaker 3 (37:13):
Like I thought that number last night at twenty seven
and a half was inflated, especially with him only needing
to get to eighteen, which you think right two, Like
I waited and live took it when it got to
seventeen and a half, and he finishes at seventeen, I'd
still be looking at like, what's Luca for? Luca's gonna
be right around thirty tomorrow, I'd be looking at his
under again. I know he finished at twenty nine last night,
but like I found the one twenty nine and a
(37:36):
half and that.
Speaker 2 (37:36):
I was gonna say he was twenty eight and a
half everywhere else.
Speaker 3 (37:38):
Yeah, I got the one twenty nine and a half
and that pyate tomorrow twenty eight. Okay, but they could,
I mean they could blow the pelicans off the floor tomorrow.
That wouldn't surprise me either.
Speaker 2 (37:48):
So all right, our thanks to uh again Terrell and
Tom and West. Check out the podcast We'll talk to
