covering it all, great day to get on in and

(01:06):
say hello, whether it's the West Side Fitchburger, Sun Prayer location,
the Healthy Place and covering it all. Not only does
mister Tim O'Brien do the radio show, but you also
hang out on Wednesdays at the Fitchburg location. The Healthy
Place is going to be out there today with ten
until five or what's your schedule.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
For five loss? Yeah, every Wednesday ten until five at
the Fitchburg store. That's a new advancement. I'm super thankful
to be back in the stores a little bit, and
so hey, if I haven't seen you in a little while,
come pop at the Fitchburg store. Love to give you
a high five. Likewise, if you're listening and you're just
curious on what natural alternative can help with this or that,

(01:42):
pop by the Fitchburg store. I'll be working ten till
five and we can have a consultation. It's like the
favorite part of what I do. It always has been,
and getting to be back in the stores has been
something I've been kind of excited about.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
And I know a lot of folks that I've talked
to have had a chance to move you, and they
tips such a people person. I said, oh yeah, absolutely,
I would love to see you so again, get on in.
He's out at the Fitchburg location Wednesdays from ten until five.
Of course wellness consultants, they are there for you whether
you're on the West side Fitchburg or sun Prairie location.
And of course online as well. It finds your Healthy
Place dot com. That's fine, your healthy Place dot com.

(02:15):
Speaking of also talking with Tim, if you've got a
question this morning, we would love to get you on
the air at all telephone number six eight three two
one thirteen ten. That's three two one thirteen ten. Get
you on there at Tim O'Brien from the Healthy Place.
Tim will help you with your with your question and
of course get you some answers, but also give you
a little thank you for Tim the time, don't you.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
I'll give you a twenty five dollars a gift card
that can be used on our website or in stores.
And a lot of people don't know, Sean, but when
somebody calls in and asks an honest question of you know, hey,
what natural alternative can help this or that for me
or a loved one, it not only gives an opportunity
to help point them towards a natural alternative that can work.

(02:56):
But it also demonstrates what we are doing every day
in Madison, Dane County at our three locations. Our wellness
consultants are trained and educated, don't pretend to be doctors
or pharmacists, but we know nutrition and supplements and forms
of ingredients that are working for different issues, conditions, health

(03:18):
challenges for our community. So now's a good time to
call in if you have anything small or large. I
would appreciate your call.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Great time, right now, get you on the air. Six
eight three two one thirteen ten. That's six oh eight
three two one thirteen ten. Little thing with the phone calls,
by the way, oftentimes we get hit towards the end
of the program. It's easier if you call right now.
I'd love to get you lined up and on the air,
so you don't have to don't have to wait. We'll
get you right on the air with Tim O'Brien from
the Healthy Place.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Now. I do so many health talks Sean over the years.
I love them. I do a lot of lunch and
learns for companies, and yeah, if you're listening and you
run a health department or work at a company, you
know I'd love to do those, So I take almost
all invitations for health talks. But with the reason I
brought it up is towards the end, we always have
a Q and a time, and it's it's difficult to

(04:06):
break that ice to be like the first one asking
the question or calling in. And then once one person
does and you give a little information and everybody sees
it's like safe, you know, then you get like ten calls.
So I find that funny that even after doing this
with you for three or four years, yeah, you know,
that's still the trend. You know, at the end we
get hit to you. It's like crickets sometimes in the beginning,

(04:27):
but yeah, now's a good time to call in. The
main point is get information that can help steer your
health the health of your loved ones. The Healthy Place
wants to be that resource for you, your family, just
somebody on your team. We're not the know it alls.
Someone on your team that knows a little bit about
supplements and what's working in our community. Get in the

(04:47):
habit of utilizing your resources because you're the CEO of
your own health and we want you to take up
that sword.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Today is the day pickup film gives a ring gets
you on the air six eight three two one thirteen ten.
That's six oh eight three two on thirteen ten. Get
your twenty five dollars gift card as well to the
Healthy Place a little thank you for taking the time
to call in. Another way to reach Tim and ask
questions is via email Tim at find your Healthy Place
dot com. That's Tim tim at find your Healthy Place
dot com. And Leah writes in she says, what are

(05:16):
some natural ways to manage the symptoms of metopause without
using hormones?

Speaker 1 (05:22):
That's a good question. Yeah, that's a great question, a
common one in our community, Lilah. So if you're listening,
you know you don't a lot of times with hormones,
you know, say soy or progesterone cream, you'll spike the
estrogen levels and you don't always just want to increase,
like sometimes they're too high and you actually want to
bring them down. So at the Healthy Place, we recommend

(05:43):
a balancing set of nutrients for women, normalizing nutrients so
that when the levels are too high, it brings it down,
but if they're too low, it brings it up. It
sort of brings this this equalizing benefit. Doctor Rebecca Georgia
from the Family Clinic of Natural Medicine. I love plugging
that company because they've done some great work in Madison.
They're over in deer Field now if you don't know

(06:04):
about them, set of licensed natural paths and have a
medical doctor on staff and doctor Henkel is the owner.
He does some great work. Doctor Georgia is there. Rebecca
Georgia is their doctor that specializes in women's hormones. So
a few years ago we contacted her. We all have
a good working relationship where we send referrals back and forth,

(06:25):
and I asked her, would you formulate and help us
formulate on really a top notch women's balancing formula. And
the request was, Hey, I would love this product to
be good for women of all ages, younger women that
are having problem with the monthly cycles with hormone imbalances premenopause, perimenopause, postmenopause.

(06:48):
I want this to be a balancing formula for women
for our community here in Dane County to really impact them,
and I'd like it Doctor Georgia, I said, if they
can feel a difference in the first forty eight hours
and so what that usually takes in the supplement industry
is a little more nutrition. You know, it's kind of obvious,
but a little more nutrition produces a little bit more benefit.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
Right.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
So there's a product called get Even that you can
look on our website to take a peek at, or
pop in our stores and ask about. But doctor Rebecca Georgia,
she formulated that it's a beautiful formula shotavari, cammile, dim
don qui, a lot of words that are hard to pronounce,
but all herbal, clean, impactful, and the results are in

(07:29):
I mean, we've been selling this now for goodness about
three and a half years and women feel the difference
in about forty eight hours, which I appreciate. They notice
an uplift to their mood, they notice balancing in negatives.
Say they're in menopause, they'll notice less of the night
sweats and sleep problems, uplift to the mood, calming of stress.

(07:52):
It's got magnesium discusinate in there, which is a higher
form of magnesium. So point is get even works. So
that's the first one I love, is a balancing formula.
Second product, Adrenal glands have a huge role in your
body's hormones. So if a a woman comes imbalanced into
the store. They're feeling a little imbalanced and they're looking
for a little hormonal normalization get Even and Adrenal Boost.

(08:18):
Adrenal Boost is an adapt to genic formula that helps
your body adapt to stress and balancing a lot of
those hormones that work synergistically with the get even products.
So those two and I know I'm talking kind of fast.
Tim at find your Healthy Place dot com. If you're
listening or you know somebody that deals with some hormonal imbalances,

(08:39):
shoot an email Tim at find your Healthyplace dot com.
I'll pop back these couple of links. Better yet, stop
in one of our stores. We have a trained staff
when it comes to the supplements that are working in
our community for hormonal balance, and you can certainly stop
over at the Fitchburg store today ten to five as
I will be working with our community.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
Lila, great question this morning. Don't forget us. Tim mentioned
great day to get on in to the Healthy Place,
whether it's Westside, Fitchburg or sun Prairie. Location of the
Healthy Place wellness consultants at all three locations as well
as of course, you can start a conversation at find
your Healthy Place dot com. That's find your Healthy Place
Dot com mention the Fitchburg store as well. Tim will
be hanging out there today. It's a Wednesday, from ten

(09:20):
this morning until five tonight, so get on in. He'd
love to see you there.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
Yeah. Oh, and I got to add, you know, hormones
are a sensitive topic, both for men and for women.
Libido is another sensitive topic. There's a number of health
conditions that are sensitive. So I like to shout out
two resources we have that make this a little bit easier. Sean.
You mentioned the website is key. We have a chat
feature that you can submit a ticket and ask your questions.

(09:45):
You don't have to put your name there. You can
get some good feedback from our wellness consultants who are
trained in the supplements that are working for these more
sensitive issues. You can also call the store. Sometimes calling
over the phone is a little bit less intrusive to folks,
so you can call. We do full consultations over the
phone every day. I mean dozens at between our Madison locations.

(10:09):
So say you know somebody from another state a ways away, Hey,
tell them to call one of our stores. I think, Sean,
you know, our community says different value benefits of our company.
But I think our number one value that we offer
to this community in Dank County is our wellness consultants.
I think the education is so key, passionate integrity is

(10:31):
so key when it comes to supplement world and our
wellness consultants. I call my WC Army because they are
helping so many people. Every day. We get these testimonies
that we share internally. We had yesterday was another wellness
Consultant community strategy meeting where we met as a team saying, hey,

(10:51):
how can we add more value? How can we get
more breakthrough in people's health? How can we honor our,
you know, community in greater ways? And that's just something
that I love to give a shout out that.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
Is awesome to hear. And that's also I know we've
had over the years folks who have called in. They'll
call in one week and talk about some of their issues,
some of their concerns. They'll call back a week or
two later and talk about their experience and it's so cool.
I know, you get to experience that each and every day.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
And here, yeah, you just got to impact them. That's
kind of my word I use as I train the
wellness consultants, like they come in, they're looking for a
little help, but they're not impacted yet. You haven't changed
the trajectory of their health yet. And so when somebody
comes in. Jacob, one of our newer wellness consultants, reported
a customer that was coming in for activated charcoal, which
is good for some immune benefits, and he had a

(11:37):
conversation with her, finding that she was a little bit
low on energy, a little bit of brain fog, little
bit of immune compromise battle going on, and he recommended
a few products. Our new Lively Greens powder was one
of them because it's just loaded with seven servings of
greens and four servings of fruits, a bunch of adaptogens

(11:57):
and memory focus new and people really feel the difference
on it. And he was reporting on our internal communication network,
just saying, like, man, this customer is going to feel
these results and going to come back and say, hey,
I have a little more energy, I have a little
bit more focused throughout the day, I have a little
bit lower stress. And he was excited about that because

(12:20):
he's already seen even though he's a little newer, he's
already seen people coming back from his recommendations. That's when
the light comes on is when are one of our
wellness consultants makes a recommendation, that customer comes back four
to six week later, closes the loop, says, hey, Jacob
shakes his hands that you really helped me. Thank you,
And that's what it's all about.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
And one of the other things too, that is awesome
to hear those those real world examples. The other thing
I love too is when he talked to folks that
work with a particular wellness consultants consultant, that relationship that
develops and saying, you know, I came in to see Jacob.
He helped me through this this previous issue, coming back
in and saying, where's Jacob ran see because people there

(12:59):
is such a there's that trust that is built, there
is that relationships that develops, and it's a pretty amazing thing.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
It's alt a Thanksgiving. You know, I work out over
at Functional Integrative Training with Jared Markowitz is the owner
over there, and he's brilliant. I highly recommend his company.
You know, I work out there with him, and you know,
I'm so grateful to him because he's come in there
every day even though it's his job, it's his business
and helping me get healthier, and I just find myself

(13:28):
thanking him each time, like, dude, you've helped impact or
change my life. And so that's what we get to
do as wellness consultants at The Healthy Place. You know,
I worked at a national supplement store chain before the
Healthy Place GENC. I guess I can say it, and
you know, it was different. It was just different. The
community looked at GENC a little different than what Becky

(13:50):
and I have created over at the Healthy Place. And
from the beginning, you know, I didn't have the same
clarity that I have now. But I'm like, man, it's
not even about the supplements. It's not even about out
the business side of it. It's about how do we
add so much value to Dane County in the area
of their health. How do we help their level of
awareness go up a couple steps on the fact that

(14:12):
their health matters and their life matters and they're both
worth fighting for. Like that's something I say because it's
something that people forget and they sort of go on autopilot.
They sort of feel like garbage. They sort of develop
these diseases and mental health problems, digestive problems, and they
kind of think the momentum of life is that they

(14:33):
can't turn that around, and so like extreme ownership, like,
let's turn that ship around. Let's get some people in
your life that can educate you in the areas that
you need some education, some inspiration. So in the area
of supplements and nutraceuticals, that's the part and peace like
a puzzle piece that we play in Dane County. And
it's like a little exhilarating when you start to see

(14:56):
over the years how you're impacting an entire city. I mean,
it's so rewarding.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
It's amazing to see those results and to hear those
hear those testimonies from that.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
We're not stopping, Sean, I mean we're We're I'm like,
tell you know, we're fifteen years in just about and
you know, I'll be honest, I'm a little frustrated at
how many people are still suffering in Dane County and
the quality of life is not where I wanted it,
you know, fifteen years ago. It's like I want to start.
I want to link arms, cause it's not just the
healthy place. There's dozens of incredible companies and businesses in

(15:28):
Dane County. I want to link arms and I want
to create a freaking movement. You know, let's go. I
don't want to be sick and tired and stressed. And
you know, our community is struggling and there's so much
suffering going on. When people are honest, and when folks
come in the stores, they're not even necessarily honest about
their level of suffering. They kind of downplayed a little bit.

(15:50):
And I battle people struggle more and greater. It's like, man,
there's suffering, Like no, call it what it is. Man,
it sucks. We got to fix this and we can.
That's the cool part is we actually can.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
Tim O'Brien a man on a mission and taking your
calls at three two one thirteen ten. That's three two
one thirteen ten and Jim joins us this morning. Jim,
welcome to the program. You're on the air with Tim
O'Brien from the Healthy Place.

Speaker 1 (16:10):
Hey, good morning, Jim.

Speaker 3 (16:13):
At the bombing Spot. Understanding of magical men with misty
tails that can help.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
You. Happy to try. How can I help you.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
Thanks the problem? I'm a horrible light sleeper and I
cannot do the CBD gummies because I'm a commercial truck diver. Sure,
you know, like a you test positive on a droadcast
for uh, you know, the CBD oil. Is there something
I could use that help me get some sleep? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (16:45):
Yeah, sure is. You know, for first off, Jim, it's
super hard for me and frustrating when uh are you
know CDL drivers cannot take CBD or thhc because even
a CBD isolate has the the THHC metabolites which are
like the ghosts of THHC. So even a strict no

(17:08):
THHC product can still trigger a drug test, which is
just sad and it's hard because people are suffering like I'm
talking about. But there are indeed non CBD THHC products
that work for sleep. You know, I grew up in
the supplement industry and you know my watch my mom
recommend sleep nutrients for of you know, years and years

(17:29):
as she ran a health food store. Snooze Fest is
our number one sleep non CBD sleep product. It's called
snooze Fest. It has Gaba gammamino beatric acid for the
deeper rem sleep. It has tripp to Fan, that Turkey
amino acid that we're going to get to experience soon here.
Valerian Route going on California Poppy lemon bom Kalmile Calm

(17:52):
of a sense of well being. That product works and
if you're a little bit more stubborn in the area
of sleep, two to four capsules is appropriate and you
won't feel groggy in the morning. I would pick that
one up. And I also get Magnesium Ease. It's a
magnesium bisc listinate. Magnesium Ease is the name of the product,
and that will help kind of calm things down a

(18:14):
little bit. Work well with the snooze Fest. I'd recommend
those two Jim.

Speaker 3 (18:18):
Okay, because that's the problem I have is I can't
recall It's been years since I've had them sleep and
just annoying. It's just as and that was actual sleep
for one, Yeah I.

Speaker 1 (18:32):
Have a dream or two. Yeah, I get in that
rapid eye movement. Uh when you can. I can't wait
for you to try see you know, because it does
get you back into that rem sleep really well. Uh
strat a PM. But we can't do that right now.
I would try the snooze Fest, the Magnesium Ease, and
you can also shoot an email to me at tim
at find your Healthy Place dot com. I'd fire you
back a couple of links or if you want to

(18:52):
pop by the Fitchburg store. I'll be there at ten
to five today, Jim.

Speaker 2 (18:55):
Jim, fantastic call. Great question. Again, that's Tim at find
your Healthy Place space. Great call, great question. We've got
a bunch of other things talk about with Tim O'Brien
from the Healthy Place. We will do that next as
ask the Experts with Tim O'Brien from the Healthy Place
continues right here on thirteen ten wuib A eight fifty
five thirteen ten wib A and ask the experts hanging

(19:15):
out with Tim O'Brien from the Healthy Place online Find
your Healthy Place dot com. That's fined your Healthy Place
dot com. Great website resource. You start a conversation online
as well with a wellness consultant. Even better, get into
one of the locations three locations of the Healthy Place
west side of Madison, Fitchburg, er Son Prairie. Don't forget
if you stop by the Fitchburg location on a Wednesday,

(19:37):
Tim O'Brien will be there to hang out with you
and we'd love to talk with you. And I think
you can do when you stop in any one of
the locations of the Healthy Place pick up some snacks.
I know you guys do the grab and go stuff
now at stores, and folks for good reason absolutely love it,
don't they.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
Tim Yeah, yeah, So we decided john few months back,
let's reduce the cost of our grab and go as
low as we can can go to keep the ball rolling.
And so we're somewhere between thirty and fifty percent lower
costs for like our kombucha drinks or our natural organic
energy drinks, our electrolyte cans, you know, the drinks, and

(20:17):
then the snacks, you know, whether it's a beef stick
from Chomps or sell forty fruit bars Aloha protein bars,
like thirty to fifty percent lower than you could find
them anywhere else in the city. And we did that
with this unique sort of strategy. I mean, maybe it's
not too unique, I don't know, but driving content like
options for people, because if you're driving, you know, you

(20:40):
hit the gas station, you're grabbing a mountain dew and
a Snickers bar. You know, we most of us would
know that that's not going to be good for your system.
So if we can sort of help the city give
them an option that's a little bit more attainable, because
the price of clean foods is so high. If we
can make that a little bit more at table and

(21:00):
make the price point for say a kombucha drink and
a nut fruit bar instead of that mountain dew and
snickers bar, add a similar cost, which is what we accomplished.
People are going to feel so much better. And the
whole mission, Sean, is how do we impact, empower and
educate people. How do we impact their lives in small, medium,

(21:23):
large ways that actually changes the trajectory of their health
journey and their life journey in a positive way, even
if it's like zero point one percent through a grab
and go section. How can we educate them? Because hopefully
when you're coming through the Healthy Place stores, if you're

(21:43):
talking with one of our wellness consultants, you're going to
get some sort of education, whether it's through some of
the literature that will hand you some of the visualized
as the visual educational components of our business, or through
a direct consultation like I educate our wellness consultant team.
You know, every time a customer comes in, the idea

(22:04):
is how can we fan the flame. They might just
want to grab something go that's cool. We don't always
need a conversation, And how can we encourage them in
their places if they mentioned yeah, I'm a little tired,
you know, give them a literature piece on how to
strengthen their energy naturally so they don't just go consume
more caffeine and find themselves in that same vicious cycle.
So yeah, whether it's the grab and go section, whether

(22:25):
you need a consultation today around a health struggle that
you're battling for you or for a loved one, or
whether you want to stop by say hi, you know,
I'll be working at the Fitchburg store today ten to five.
Come give a high five. The whole idea is how
can we be sort of a pillar in this community
to offer hope, to offer encouragement, to offer light in

(22:46):
the darkness or the darker places that people find themselves
because a lot of people are suffering, a lot of
people not living quality of life, and we want to
help them get there.

Speaker 2 (22:54):
One of the things I love too is you know,
the stores clean, comfortable, inviting, just a great setting you
mentioned as well as literature and other great information for
folks that want to learn more, you can stop on
and just start that conversation. I love Ben, and I
think personally what I what I appreciate with the grab
and go. I think for a lot of people than
you've probably seen this firsthand, the mistakes that we make

(23:15):
when it comes to to our health is just making
split second poor decisions. We grab that candy bar, that
sugary soa that we really shouldn't have, but it's because
it's super convenient. It's just there having this convenient option
of stop.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
I'm buy a case or two of whatever we have it,
you know around where you need it, when you need it,
and you know, more importantly, value your health today. Like
I know it's hard, depending where you're at and the continuum.
Value your health, value your life. Take an active step,
just baby steps right and three steps four, two steps back.
If the healthy Place can be any sort of beneficial
resource to you, keep us in mind. We're thinking of

(23:52):
you every day and sure appreciate the support from the
community this year. As twenty twenty four, are you coming.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
To a close set down that home stretch? Today is
the day get in West Side of Madison Fitchburg's Sun
Prayer Don't forget Tim is at the Fitchburg location today
ten until five. Stop on in, say hello, learn more online,
find your healthy place dot com. That's fined your healthy
place dot com. Tim, you have a fantastic day. It's
always so much fun chatting.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
With you, my friend, you two brother Thanks for the time.
