Prosecutors and defense attorneys in the Brian Walsh murder case

go over ground girls for his trial today. Walsh is
accused of killing and dismembering his wife Anna in twenty

Devilcol hassettfather walking into court this morning in handcuffs, waving
and smiling at his mother. Her name is Diana Walsh.
Diana Walsh is accused of hiring a private investigator to
catch her son's wife Anna, having an affair, and originally
she did not appear on the witness list, but today
the defense asked to add her. We also learned today

that the man Anna is accused of having an affair
with is expected to testify, along with a frie that
she allegedly confided in Jess before her death, saying she
planned to take her kids to Washington.

D C. Jerry's selection begins tomorrow. The Department of Health
and Human Services is planning to release some new dietary
guidelines next month. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Junior says
the guidelines are going to stress the importance of protein
and saturated fats, increase oversight into baby formula, and incentivize
the reduction in petroleum based food dies. Kennedy believes it

a while. The government shutdown saw to that All Smithsonian museums, though,
and the National Zoo are now back open to the public.

Several reopened over the weekend after being forced to shut
their doors when they ran out of money October twelve.
That meant the National Zoo's annual Halloween event, Boo at
the Zoo, was canceled, but zoo reps have confirmed that
Zoo lights for the holidays will open as scheduled on
November twenty first and run through January third. Stacey Lynz,

New York. Jets players in critical but stable condition after
a weekend shooting.

The NYPD says officers found a twenty nine year old
man shot in the abdomen early Sunday morning in midtown. Manhattan.
Mayor Eric Adams later confirmed Jets cornerback Chris Boyd as
a victim. A statement from the Jets said they were
aware of the situation involving Boyd, but had no further comment.
Sources have told CBS News New York the shooting followed
a verbal dispute that escalated. Jennifer Kuiper CBS News.
