four o'clock good Saturday afternoon. I'm Madison Rogers, and here
is what's happening. This slow moving storm is flooding a
lot of local streets and highways. We do have a
flash of flood warning and effect until five point forty
five just outside Boston. That includes communities like Newton, Waltham,

and Menburgh. Meantime, south of town, as the storm pushes
into that.

To be advised that flooding is likely again over these
next couple of hours. The storm will taper off later

Several towns like Duxbury, Hanson, Marshfield rent them, and five
others sued, saying the MBTA communities act as an unfunded mandate.
It's a state mandated zoning initiative to try and increase
multi family housing but a superior court judge has dismissed
the nine lawsuits from residents. The judge says the towns
aren't exempt from their obligation to comply and that is
not an unfunded mandate. Attorney General Andrea Campbell applauded the

We're following more chaotic protests in the Los Angeles area
this afternoon in the wake of several ice raids. That
is the sound of police in riot gear setting off
smoke bombs to disperse demonstrators in Paramount, California. This comes
a day after a series of military style ice raids
in Los Angeles, dozens taken into custody. Dozens were also

arrested at a large protest in La last night. A
Central mass college student is pleading guilty in a three
million dollar hacking scheme. Nineteen year old Matthew Lane, an
Assumption University student who lives in Sterling, could face up
to seventeen years in prison. He's accused, or rather he's
admitted now to trying to extort money from two companies

by threatening to leak the personal information of tens of
millions of people. Tracking the feud between the President and

This is a very slow moving storm, but slowly but
surely it should move out by early tonight. Continue to
watch for flooding though while it continues to pass.

in those areas under a flash flood warning again just
to the north and west of Boston, move immediately to
