A vigil was held last night in Pocatello, ID Idaho
for an autistic team with cerebral palsy left critically brain
dead after being shot nine times by police. Victor Prez's
family says he was taken off life support. Yesterday, CBS's
Andres Scutierrez with the latest.

Cell phone video shows Pocatello, Idaho police officers opening fire
last Saturday on seventeen year old Victor Perez, a nonverbal
team with autism, stood in his grandfather's backyard behind a
fence holding a knife. Police had been responding to reports
of an intoxicated man with a knife chasing someone. Perez,

who had been on the ground, stood up and moved
towards officers.

Perez's family and community question why officers opened fire within
seconds of leaving their patrol cars instead of trying to
de escalate these situations. Maldon Police seeking the public's help
in tracking down a suspect who broke into businesses on
Ferry Street around four thirty yesterday morning. The suspect caught
on surveillance camera wearing a mask and a white hooded jacket.
He's described as either a light skinned, Hispanic or white man.
