officers just in the last few days have died of
gunshot gunfire. We've heard the stories in Pennsylvania and in Virginia.

everywhere you go, somebody's getting shot. Patrolman Andrew William Duarte
was from the West York Borough up in York, Pennsylvania.
He died of gunfire on Saturday. Police officer Cameron Robert
gervin Virginia Beach Police Department end of watch was Also

on Saturday, police officer Christopher M. L Reese, Virginia Beach
Police Department. End of watch was on Saturday gunfire and
another officer which didn't make the news as much around here,
but Deputy Sergeant Martin Shields Junior from the Hines County
Sheriff's Office in Mississippi same thing.

that hospital shooting in York, Pennsylvania.

Staff hostages on Saturday in the ICU and threatening to
kill one in the hallway when several officers opened fire
in office. Sir Andrew Duarte and the gunmen were both
killed in the shootout.

Apparently Ortisse, the gunman, he was targeting the ICU because
he had a family member who was treated and died
there within the last week, and he was having a
difficulty so excepting it.

that's this heartbreaking. Earlier this morning, we had a salute
and had a moment of silence for four our officers
who have died in the line of duty just in
the past four days. But two of these officers, officers
Cameron Gervin and Andrew Duarte, who you just mentioned, they

were both Ocean City, Maryland.

everywhere you go, somebody's getting shot. Patrolman Andrew William Duarte
was from the West York Borough up in York, Pennsylvania.
He died of gunfire on Saturday. Police officer Cameron Robert

on Saturday, police officer Christopher M. L Reese, Virginia Beach
Police Department. End of watch was on Saturday gunfire and
another officer which didn't make the news as much around here,
but Deputy Sergeant Martin Shields Junior from the Hines County

kill one in the hallway when several officers opened fire
in office. Sir Andrew Duarte and the gunmen were both

Apparently Ortisse, the gunman, he was targeting the ICU because
he had a family member who was treated and died
there within the last week, and he was having a

and had a moment of silence for four our officers
who have died in the line of duty just in
the past four days. But two of these officers, officers

said it it's so sad that Joanne is closing. Some
people still do so and this is why Amazon flourishes
because all the stores are closing. But I don't almost
wonder if it's the other way around. And then someone
else said, Hi, people still sew. There's a whole grand
millennial community of stitchers out there, and we're so sad

about Joanne's clothing.

Well, I know, there's like knitters and there's all kinds
of you know, but sewing, like, my mom used to
make our clothes. So is that what you're talking about
or is that a hobby like we literally that's where
we got our clothes from.

Yeah, no, I think well, I mean, I if my
Instagram reels algorithm is correct, there are a lot of
people who like either repurpose clothing now, so they'll they'll
go thrifting and they'll find stuff and then they'll like,
you know what I mean, that's a technical term.

I just you're flat.

You're making me flashback to being like three and my
mom made this Halloween costume for me, and I was
excited about it until I put it on, and then
I just bawled. I'm like, I'm not. I was embarrassed
because it was a little clown and it had a
dunce cap that she had rolled newspaper and put it.

I'm like, I'm not wearing that. I look like an idiot.
Speaker 6 (21:58):
But I'm three years old, and I'm like, really a fact,
I can you just brought back a memory I haven't
thought of. Wow, but that was from when my mom
used to sell I mean, and she made you.

A generations ago, people sewed right, but not now.

Much here, but uh in elementary school because you know
turners in high school now, but in elementary school, it
was like always like a gift for somebody, like a teacher,
teacher's assistant, like someone's retiring.

And I'm like, guys, guys.

It's you know, it gets the point where it's really
a financial strain.

I can't be sending money every two or three days.

Right, And I wonder is there something that everybody else
is feeling too, you think?

Or is it just us?
Speaker 4 (23:30):
Oh, I'm sure everybody's feeling it. But I'm I'm sitting
here and I'm going to give you permission not to
send money every single time.

See, I would feel good Again, Here comes the guilt.
So you need someone to let you off the hook,
and that's gonna be me.

Let me give you this proposal.

You come home with the package of the pictures or
now these days it's all digital, so they send you
the pictures of your kid.

Yes, you look at them and you're like.
Speaker 6 (23:55):
Oh, look at this little picture. I gotta buy that one. Now,
I gotta buy that one, and I gotta have that one.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
No, here's what I say, say, I'm not buying these.
Speaker 4 (24:04):
Really, you're one hundred percent swear to god, I'm not
buying these. What does this dumb smile? Your hair is
messed up? I told you not to wear your blue shirt.
Do you think that you're fit?
Speaker 6 (24:16):
You know, maybe damaging your kid on some le making
them think that you know, their picture is not good
enough for mom to buy.
Speaker 4 (24:23):
Maybe, but but don't tell me that.
Speaker 1 (24:26):
The kids don't do a dumb smile. And there's there's
school pictures.
Speaker 4 (24:30):
It's like they smile regular at home, and then when
they go to school to get their pictures done, they're like, no,
I'm not smiling.

I'm a gremlin.
