it's not an ad. But it wasn't that that was
my whole goal.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
Someone said, hey, Bethany's ad check And then someone said, hey,
Michael J.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
Wins Hers is a little creepy with all this bone
note he had bone noises too.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
I love noises, but mine were actually real.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
All right, we have so much to tell you about today.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
Baltimore County home taken over by squatters on the eve
of a sale. Can you imagine you're selling your house.
You've put money into it because you want to fix
it up and sell it. You got a deal where
somebody's gonna buy it. You're about to close and go
to settlement, and you find out there are squatters that
moved into the house because they signed a lease with
(06:35):
a company that rented out.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
So in other words, there it's literally happening to one
of I because I'm a real litter too. One of
the properties I have listed right now, I found on
a scam website and I don't know who posted it
and I don't know how to get it down. Yeah,
it happens all the time.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
You better make sure you got good security on that
house that somebody's not moving into it.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
And then another one that I have several years ago,
I found on an air and B site like somebody
was air being being So it's like crazy.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
So people are renting out and selling houses that they
don't own, and then other non suspecting people I guess.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
I don't know, they think they're signing a lease. They
moved in with their kids.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
And so the owner of this house in Baltimore County
went to the people that were in his house.
Speaker 3 (07:21):
Yeah right, and he said, listen, the house is sold.
Let me help you. I'll get you another place to live.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
They got them a U haul, loaded their stuff up
in it, and moved him to another house the.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
Night got That is crazy.
Speaker 1 (07:33):
So I guess, like I guess my advice would maybe
be you can search like it's public record who owns
the house, like you can search like tax right, so
like before you sign Elise, maybe look up who actually
owns the address and make sure that it's the same people, because.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
It's like you could fall for these scams pretty easily,
you know what.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
And I bet you they're praying on people who either
a have very little experience with that yeah, or be
might not speak English too well.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
Ninety three point one w POC traffic not to mention
the giant housing crisis though.
Speaker 1 (08:08):
Were in the middle of Naughty It is crazy.
Speaker 3 (08:13):
You know, we've been.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
Talking about relationships a lot last few days and thinking
about it from the standpoint of trying to get the
girl back. I don't think the words in that song
are necessarily going to bring her back.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
No, you're the reason baby, to keep us in the
loop of entertainment and pop culture and the things we
shouldn't care about, but somehow we really do. East Beth
Abrey on ninety three point one w POC.
Speaker 1 (08:36):
Lots of people up and at him and already participating
in the program today, and we appreciate it. There's lots
in the brief today for you to weigh in on,
so please do so seven to seven ninety six to
begin your message with hi or hey. Jonathan Joss, best
known for voicing John Redcorn on King of the Hill,
was fatally shot Sunday in Texas.
Speaker 3 (08:55):
His husband said that the.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
Shooting followed years of threats and harassment from neighbors. The
couple had returned to their home earlier this year after
it had been destroyed by fire. Then they were confronted
by a man who opened fire. Apparently Jos pushed his
husband out of harm's way, sacrificing his own life.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
Only it's wild story.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
The alleged shootor is in police customy custody, and authorities
think it might be a hate crime. Blake Lively has
withdrawn her claims of intentional and negligent infliction of emotional
distress against Justin Baldoni.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
This story will not end.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
Her attorney says that its routine and they're streamlining their case.
The decision follows Baldoni's legal request for Lively's mental health records,
which she declined to provide. The trial set for March
twenty twenty six, so not ending anytime soon.
Speaker 3 (09:49):
Oh how about this. A new study says that you.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
Can transmit depression and anxiety through kissing. What apparently, cortisol
levels in your aliva can transmit to your partner.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
Wow, I'm like.
Speaker 2 (10:04):
No, I wonder if dopamine does too, you know, like
when you're really buzzing in the beginning of a relationship.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
Yeah, Oh I'm sure. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:11):
And then, lastly, in an effort to quote help people
connect more intentionally, Tinder is testing out a new feature
that will let users screen out potential matches based on
how tall they are.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
Oh, you know, you don't want a guy's like a
foot and a half taller than you and you're kissing
his belly button.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
They think it's mostly because women are complaining about short men.
Speaker 3 (10:35):
Oh, pro back time there with Tim McGraw. Might say
that timmgra is one of your favorites. He absolutely, he's
the top three.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
Yeah, I was gonna say, because you every time in
one of his songs on your I've always loved him
and I'll never forget it. Went back to nineteen ninety four.
I'll never forget this wine dot Michigan. I'm a DJ
in Detroit. I have no idea who Tim McGraw.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
We had this annual show, just like we have Saturday
in the Country. We had Saturday. We had Sunday in
the Country in Detroit, right, And that's so Tim McGraw
was playing it.
Speaker 3 (11:09):
He walks up.
Speaker 2 (11:10):
He's his skinny kid with overalls with like the gene overhalls,
and he's like singing that song and I'm just like.
Speaker 3 (11:16):
Mike, he is so good, you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (11:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (11:18):
All right, Well, well let's find out what's going on
with Bethanese vacation. Because we talked about you returning from Alaska,
yes yesterday, you're on ninety three point one WPSC and
Michael j Warning Show. Uh you said you wanted to
tell us about the worst part of your trip.
Speaker 1 (11:35):
Yeah, listen, I had a great time.
Speaker 3 (11:38):
Okay, Okay, the worst part of my trip was other people? Really?
Is it just me?
Speaker 1 (11:46):
Weigh in on this seven seven nine six two begin
your message with higher hate or call us better yet
eight hundred three two six ninety three are people getting worse?
Speaker 3 (11:57):
Like just in general? Right?
Speaker 2 (12:00):
When you say people are these other passenger cruisers?
Speaker 3 (12:03):
Okay, this this is not employees of the No, no,
they would lovely staff. Okay, on the boat really great, okay,
And it wasn't a boat, it was a ship.
Speaker 4 (12:12):
I know because it sounds like you were They get
mad if you call it a boat. Yeah, you're not
on the minnow all right, Okay, here's what I mean.
Mostly elevator etiquette. Okay, but also even at the airport, a.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
Woman, a woman was just so rude, Like people were
so rude.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
I just don't know what's going on with people.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
So what I mean is like you have to let
people off the elevator first before you get on.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
Of course, that's elevator etiquette. Yes it is. No one's
doing that anymore, and then never fails.
Speaker 1 (12:44):
Every single elevator I'm on, there's obviously an old woman
that's like, okay, press seven, I need I need seven, Okay, okay, ma'am.
We will get you off on seven, right, Like relax,
you're on vacation. There's some one just dictating the ele elevator,
like people cutting in line for the dinner.
Speaker 3 (13:06):
Like I'm just like, what, like, where is what you're
talking about. I'm at the airport, I'm chit chatting. Right.
This woman comes up to me, she stands between me
and my girlfriend.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
We're just chit chatting, right, this woman comes in in
between us and says to me.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
Are you a Christian? She asked you if you're in
the middle.
Speaker 1 (13:30):
Of my conversation. She got in between us and was like,
are you a Christian? I was like, Presbyterian born and raised.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
Can what a random question?
Speaker 4 (13:43):
What what gives you the goal?
Speaker 1 (13:48):
So I just mean stuff like this, or like when
you're getting off the airplane, the front rows go first, right,
and then when it's your turn you go.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
Do you know they were talking about having fines for
that because people are wild. Yeah, because you fight to
get off the plane. I mean, these people are feral,
and I will.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
What's happening? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (14:08):
People were have you know when we were kids, I
swear to God, my mom taught me manners. It's as
simple as like yes sir, no sir. I have a
hard time not saying that now. I mean, I do
you know it's automatic?
Speaker 1 (14:22):
And I saw so many people being rude to their servers, right,
and like, no, you don't get to be rude to
the people that are bringing you your dinner.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
And I just I don't know.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
I just wanted to vent about it because I'm really
upset about it.
Speaker 3 (14:35):
Because like what and I don't have I can't do
anything about it. I just wanted to complain, right.
Speaker 2 (14:39):
So that's so the worst part was just the lack
of manners from.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
Other people, Right, what gives you the nerve? Well? Have you?
Speaker 2 (14:48):
Have you ever been this? When I was listening to
you and I'm thinking, has this happened to me?
Speaker 3 (14:54):
Two times? Have been on an elevator and something like
that happened.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
I remember a woman on an elevator and a man
went over to his right hand side and rubbed her
stomach and said, how pregnant are you?
Speaker 1 (15:06):
Know?
Speaker 3 (15:06):
What do you do? And she's not pregnant?
Speaker 2 (15:10):
No, And I'm like, oh, there's going to be a
fight right here on the elevator when I'm standing here.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
And the other happens in elevators where people absolutely lose it,
like they just forget how to be a human.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
I'll tell you one time I was at the beach
and there was a packed elevator and a guy farted
and oh my god, and the whole elevator broke out laughing.
But I mean, what is.
Speaker 3 (15:37):
Oh my god?
Speaker 1 (15:38):
God?
Speaker 2 (15:38):
All right, if you've got a similar story, we'd love
to hear from him. Ninety three point one w POC
Michael J Morning Show, Bethany, we're getting a lot of
phone calls about your story and a.
Speaker 1 (15:56):
Lot of texts too, And somebody, A lot of people
agree with me, but this one is someone said. Normally
i'd agree with you, but I just had the opposite experience.
I was traveling with my wife, two year old, and
six bags, and people kept trying to offer help, and
I was like, oh god, that's nice.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
Yeah, that's very nice. Oh my goodness.
Speaker 1 (16:15):
I didn't think i'd get to you.
Speaker 4 (16:16):
I was just listening to y'all.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
How the elevator ellokant?
Speaker 3 (16:22):
Have people gone nuts?
Speaker 1 (16:23):
Oh my god. Look, look I I worked at a
white market. I should not say that, but yes I do.
I am a cashier and those people asked.
Speaker 3 (16:34):
For they have no etiquette.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
What's a common courtesy?
Speaker 2 (16:38):
My mother raised me.
Speaker 1 (16:39):
I tell everybody common courtesy.
Speaker 3 (16:41):
Look, they come in my line and they're on their friend.
Speaker 4 (16:44):
Look, I asked them, do you want your rewards?
Speaker 1 (16:47):
If they're on their friend I will not ask if
they didn't want.
Speaker 3 (16:49):
Them rewards a common courtesy that I pay to them.
Oh my god, I feel so sorry for you. You
had a good vacation.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
Well not good. Oh yeah, I was lovely, you know,
I just was a little irritated, you know.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
Right, because people are kind of rude sometimes, well you
know they really are.
Speaker 3 (17:07):
People should be nice to each other then, you know, right,
it would be.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
And in today's society, parents aren't taking care of their kids.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
They're not telling them how you know a common curtis
huh yeah, if you go into her line at Wise Markets,
you better not be on your phone.
Speaker 3 (17:25):
Well, she's right, I mean listening.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
It doesn't take any more energy to smile at someone,
to be kind, to say thank you. But but I
will say and I know, I know that people argue
that kids aren't being raised correctly, but I'm telling you
I saw rude people of all ages and varieties.
Speaker 3 (17:43):
Like, it's not just the kids.
Speaker 2 (17:45):
I paid for this vacation, and I'm going to be
first in light at the buffet
