(00:22):
Yes, found this song. I'mgonna keep it. I can use it
because I like it. I'm astudent of the very simple UH music philosophy
that went in doubt more Cowbell andthat song definitely definitely soothed that part of
my soul. Anyway, moving toUH important things today, we've got quite
(00:47):
the situation on the border. Butyou already know that already. That's that's
nothing new to you. What Iwant to point out to you is just
how god awful at lying about itthe White House and the Biden administration has
become used to be. I willgive credit where credit is due. Jen
(01:07):
Saki did a phenomenal job of lyingfor Joe Biden, plain and simple.
Karene Jehan Pierre does not have thatgift. Jen Saki's go to strategy was
lie. Karen Jean Pierre's goes tostrategy is leave the room or just stop
(01:29):
taking quick her she just panics andshuts down, whereas Jen Saki did a
really good job of lying. Andthat's why I think Jen Saky leaving the
White House was really detrimental to JoeBiden because the diversity higher that is,
Karene Jehan Pierre is not working outwell for Joe Biden. Just to give
(01:51):
you a quick example of this,She's being asked by Peter Doocey about the
border, and, as is typicalfor them, she tries to deflect it.
Peter Doocey calls her on it andshe just shuts down. She just
panics and crashes. So here's here'swhat that sounded like. It was.
(02:12):
It was definitely something. What doyou call it? You're at the White
House when ten thousand people illegally crossedthe border in a single day, So
what do you call it? Peter? When g Op puts forth, they
say wait, no, no,no, no, no no no,
no, you can I'm answering.Okay, we're gonna move no no no
no no no no no no nono, we're moving on. No.
(02:34):
No. I tried to answer,Peter, I tried to answer the question.
You stopped me. Let's go.Her go to strategy seems to always
be answer a question with a question, and when that doesn't work, plan
B is Nope, I'm done.I give up. No, not dealing
with it, not answering the question, get out, get out of here,
so you'll you'll recognize the question.Peter Doocey asked her, was what
(02:58):
do you call it when you haveten thousand people cry seen the board illegally?
And she immediately deflects that to whatdo you call it when the GOP
l I don't even know what shewas going to say. I don't care
why, because it's irrelevant. PeterDucey's question had nothing to do with the
GOP. What would have been smartfor Karan Jehan Pierre to do is say,
(03:20):
well, I call that a crisisthat's brought about by failed GOP policy
and strategy. That's what she couldhave done. That's the kind of stuff
that Jensoki used to do. Jensochiwouldn't deny that there were problems, She
would just try to pin them onthe GOP despite the fact that they were
obviously Joe Biden created problems. KaranJohn Pierre does not have that X factor
(03:43):
that Jensacki had, and she justI don't know what it is. She
can't do it. I have neverseen her do it successfully at any point
ever. And I mean at apoint where literally everyone is starting to recognize
this border crisis, it's impossible toignore. At this point, you'd think
that the go to Democrat talking pointwould be pinded on the Republicans. Make
(04:05):
it the Republican's fault. I mean, like we talked about the other day,
it's to the point where Joe Bidenis trying to mandate that these illegals
stay in Texas so that the Democratvoters don't have to deal with the problem,
so that they can go back todenying that the problem exists. But
it's really too late for that. They're on your doorstep. I mean,
(04:27):
New York Governor Kathy Hokel is sittinghere saying this is a problem. We
can't deal with this, We've gotto do something. When the Democrats are
saying that, you'd think the timeto ignore the problem has ended and the
time to put a spin on ithas begun. Just politically speaking, this
is all purely like political strategy speaking, that's what makes sense, right.
But no, Karine John Pierre isstill sitting here, for god only knows
(04:50):
what reason, trying to deny thatthe problem exists. And she's not even
good at it. If she wasgood at it, I would say go
for it. Try darnist. It'snot gonna work because the American people can
see it but you know what,if that's your strategy, try it,
go for it, and if you'regood at it, knock yourself out.
She's not good at it, andshe still keeps trying it. Which whatever
(05:14):
go ahead hand the Republicans in election, why not, because that's what's going
to happen. It really just comesdown to who can pin the issues,
because it's not whether or not theissues exist. That's not what election comes
down to. It's who gets blamedfor the issues. That's what people vote
based on. So if you've gotthe Republicans on one side of the aisle
(05:34):
saying, look, here's this reason, this reason, this reason, this
reason, that all of these problemsare the Democrats fault, all these problems
are Joe Biden's fault. And thenyou've got the Democrats on the other side
of the aisle going no, no, no, the problems aren't existing,
that there are no issues here, pay no attention. It doesn't exist.
It's not real. And meanwhile they'resaying that you can't walk down the street
(05:58):
without being smacked in the by theproblem because there's illegal immigrants homeless everywhere.
That's the reality on the ground. And rather than taking the politically smart move
of trying to say this is theRepublican's fault. They're just pretending it doesn't
exist. I will never understand itthat it just that doesn't make any sense
to me. But yeah, Meanwhile, there are attempts at trying to turn
(06:19):
this into oh, this is justa Republican talking point. This isn't real.
It's being kneecapped by other Democrats thatare now having to deal with this
problem thanks to people like Greg Abbottand governors who are sending these illegal immigrants
to these sanctuary cities. So nowwe've got Governor Kathy Hokel who's trying to
(06:39):
tell people, hey, don't don'tcome here, and without saying it,
she's basically sitting there saying their Republicansare right, this is a problem and
we can't deal with it. Sohere is Kathy Hokel on CNN. We
have to let the word out thatwhen you come to New York, we're
not going to have more hotel rooms. We don't have capacity. So we
have to also message properly that we'reat our limit. If you're going to
(07:01):
leave your country, go somewhere elsewith The smarter thing is to apply for
asylum. Before you leave your country. I mean, you're close to the
right answer, You're real close, but you're not quite there yet. It's
not just messaging, because messaging andactions can be and have been. We've
seen with this administration completely different. It's not just a messaging issue. You
can't just say don't come, ourborders closed, Kamala Harris has been doing
(07:25):
that for three years. They're stillcoming. Why because we're still letting them
in. Because when they get here, we're still giving them a smartphone,
and we're still putting on that smartphoneapps that they can use to get plane
tickets to any city in the country. Let me scratch that, not any
city in the country. I thinkit's like forty two cities in the country.
This is a ridiculous story, accordingto NBC News, So this isn't
(07:47):
just the Republican talking points. Thisis NBC News. The Department of Homeland
Security plans to transport migrants at waitingimmigration proceedings from US cities along the southern
border farther into the interior of thecountry. They want to use taxpayer dollars
to send these people farther into thecountry, into cities like Los Angeles that
are already riddled with crises like Idon't know if you've been to Los Angeles
(08:11):
lately or been on the internet, but it's not hard to find pictures of
Los Angeles being a trash heap withhoboes and drugs and poop everywhere. It's
ridiculous. And now they want tosend illegal immigrants on your taxpayer dollars also
to these places. And we're alreadywhat thirty two trillion dollars in debt,
(08:33):
and now we're going to spend moneyon plane tickets for people who are in
this country illegally. See, youcan say the border is closed all you
want. These illegal immigrants are seeingthese headlines. They know what happens when
they get into this country because thecartels that are bringing them here are telling
them. You can say, don'tcome all you want, but the moment
(08:54):
you show up to the border, you're given a cell phone and a plane
ticket to LA. That's not adeterrent. That's not going to stop people
from coming. And their talking pointis, as it always, it's a
humanitarian crisis. We have to dosomething. This is a humanitarian crisis.
But this doesn't even eliminate the humanitariancrisis, So take it with a grain
of salt when they try to pluckat your heart strings and tell you we
(09:18):
have to do this. The evilRepublicans just want to make these people suffer
in these squalor and overcrowded conditions. That this doesn't solve that problem. It
simply moves the problem because all thesepeople are being moved around by cartels,
and every single one of them hasa dollar amount, and the cartel controls
their life until the tell gets theirmoney, which is how you end up
(09:41):
with houses in New York that areshocked full with like thirty people living in
them, and they're all illegal immigrants, says investigators in New York have found
at least thirty one immigrants. We'reliving in a single home. They were
crammed together with children sleeping in thegarage. On the outside, this looks
(10:05):
like a classic Cape cod style fifteenhundred square foot single family home in New
City, but Rockland County officials sayinside it was a disaster waiting to happen.
We believe at least thirty one, maybe more individuals living in this house.
Some of the most egregious conditions we'veever seen. The electrical totally overloaded,
(10:26):
extention cords all over the place. You can see right there that's the
garage. Those are children on thosemattresses in the garage, mattress upon mattress
upon mattress. This would have beenan absolute disaster. Had there been a
fire in this house, people wouldhave died here, first responders would have
been injured or killed. And Ican't see the video, but the pictures
here are pretty messed up. Thisis some third world country stuff. This
(10:50):
does not look like a like ahealthy environment. Of course, he talked
about the electrical system being overloaded andextension cords running everywhere. That's a great
way to start to fire because ifthat stuff starts sparking. And you can't
see it in the picture, butthere's stuff everywhere, flammable stuff, pillows,
blankets, papers laying all over thefloor of this house. This investigator
(11:11):
is exactly right. People would havedied. And even if they didn't die,
you can tell just from looking atthe pictures of this house that the
people living in it we're not livinga good life. I'll have this video
reposted on my Twitter so you cantake a look at it, because I
think it's very important for people tosee. I think it's important for every
single person to see what the Democratsolutions to problems actually bring, because it
(11:35):
doesn't solve the problem, It movesthe problem. It makes the problem bigger.
When you're not doing anything to closethe border and people keep coming and
all you're doing is saying please don'tcome, Please don't come, Please don't
come, and then you're facilitating themcoming. You're making it easier for them.
Once they get here, they're gonnakeep coming. It blows my mind
that they paint themselves as these humanitariansand then create these crisises and nobody calls
(12:01):
them on it, and then whenyou do call them on it, they
just run and hide. It's insaneto me, absolutely insane. Alrighty,
Moving on from that, we havea rare occasion where the DOJ has done
something something good. Senator Jerry Menendez. You probably haven't heard of him unless
(12:22):
you're like really really into politics, because he's he's just kind of one of
those sideline senators. You know,he doesn't make a lot of headlines.
He's not like a swing vote oranything, so he's just kind of one
of the other senators that's there, you know, there's there's fifty senators.
Not all of them can be superinteresting. But as it turns out,
this guy is way more interesting thanwe thought, because turns out he was
(12:43):
getting bribed like a whole lot himand his wife in gold bars, which
is absolutely wild. Apparently there weresome business owners that were giving this guy
millions and millions of dollars, andof course allegedly, because none of them
has been proven in court, soit's it's all alleged at this point.
But this guy was getting paid abunch of money, and a lot of
(13:05):
it was in like actual solid goldbars, like this is the wild West
or something, and this was allbeing done so that he could influence people.
And it turns out he was prettypowerful. He was he was the
chair of a committee. But theDOJ has done something right and that they've
actually charged this guy with bribery, which it's a it's a rare treat for
(13:26):
me when we see the Feds actuallycracking down on the Democrats, because usually
we don't get a whole lot ofthis. This is the type of guy
that would be this would all begetting swept under the rug for him,
So it's it's nice to me tosee that he's actually catching heat from this.
According to Brightbart this these charges camedown today. I believe he not
(13:50):
charges. I'm sorry, he's beenindicted, which I think that day's charges.
Yeah, charges of bribery. Federalprosecutors on Friday announced the charges against
the sixty nine year old Democrat.Apparently this is not the first time he's
had charges like this brought against him. He got off on corruption charges because
of a hung jury. It lookslike he apparently allegedly accepted lavish gifts to
(14:11):
pressure government officials on behalf of aFlorida doctor. So this guy's been corrupt
and we're just now having charges broughtagainst him. Except now it looks like
maybe they think they've got enough toactually get him on something. The Senate
Historical Office says Menendez appears to bethe first sitting senator in US history to
have been indicted on two unrelated criminalallegations. Menendez faces re election next year
(14:39):
in a bid to extend his threedecade career in Washington, and as a
Democrat, holds a narrow majority inthe Senate. So this guy is I
think the Democrat majority is one Sothis is a big deal, and New
Jersey has struggled to remain blue. They've had some close calls, specifically in
(15:01):
their last governor's race, they almostelected, it was a very very slim
margin a Republican governor. So thismay have long term effects on the Democrat
majority in the Senate. I wouldbe very surprised if this guy wins.
Apparently, as of recently, he'sstepped down not from the Senate but from
(15:22):
his position as like the chair ofa Senate committee. Yeah, they've been
investigating this guy for years. Apparentlythey've examined dealings of New Jersey businessmen,
a friend of Menendez's wife who securedsole authorization from the Egyptian government to certify
that meat imported into that country meetsIslamic dietary requirements. Investigators also ask questions
(15:45):
about the Menendez family's interaction with aNew Jersey developer. The fact that he's
already actually stepped down from his positionas a committee chair tells me this might
actually go somewhere. So I wouldnot be surprised if we see this guy,
maybe not resign, but at thevery least drop out of it.
I don't think he'll resign. Themost important thing to the Democrats is always
(16:08):
maintain the majority, and this wouldnot be the first time that they have
sacrificed one of their own in orderto achieve that goal. So I don't
think he'll resign. He'll step downfrom his committees and whatnot, but I
don't think he'll resign. He'll probablyend up just saying that I'm not going
to run for reelection. And thenby the time he's actually indicted and found
(16:29):
to be corrupt or whatever officially andformally in the courts, the Democrats will
play it off, like I said, well he's not in office anymore.
That's usually how this goes. Theykind of act like it's a non issue
by the time it happens. Butthe point being, this guy is corrupt,
and you think he's the only Democratin the Senate that's corrupt. You
think he's the only person in theSenate that's corrupt. He's just the first
(16:52):
one to get caught so far.I'm really interested to see just kind of
how he tries to play it off, because he's swearing up and down that
he's not corrupt. He swears it'sall legitimate, he swears he has a
good reason to have all this money, like apparently he was pulling it out
of savings at like thousands of dollarsat a time, quote unquote, just
in case. Come on, doyou really expect us to buy this?
(17:15):
Let's be honest with ourselves. Whowho is going to buy that? But
I mean, that's his live that'swhat he is going with. Well forgive
me, that's his alleged lie.I think he's lying because he's a politician.
It's what they do. But here'shim saying no, no, no,
no, no. I drew thiscash out for personal reasons. This
was my cash. Trust me,it's it's all legit. For thirty years,
(17:38):
I have withdrawn thousands of dollars incash from my personal savings account,
which I have kept for emergencies andbecause of the history of my family facing
confiscation in Cuba. Now this mayseem old fashioned, but these were moneys
drawing from my personal savings account basedon the income that I have lawfully derived
(18:02):
over those thirty years. All Ihumbly ask for in this moment in my
colleagues in Congress, the elected leadersand the advocates of New Jersey that I
have worked with for years, aswell as each person who calls New Jersey
Home is to pause and allow forall the facts to be presented. Come
on, dude, nobody believes that. Come on, I mean, it
(18:26):
was like hidden in your wife's coatpockets. If you were if that was
really why you were doing that, wouldn't you put it in a safe,
you know, wouldn't you put itin a lockbox or something. No,
you're stuffing it in your wife's coatpockets. That's not what you do when
you want to secure money from confiscation. And yet he expects us to believe
(18:49):
this. It's ridiculous. Now tothe Democrats credit, most of them have
condemned this guy. You've got evenAOC out here saying that this guy should
resign. Even a broken clock isright at least once a day, and
AOC is that broken clock, andshe is right this one time. This
guy should resign. He's not goingto because the Democrats need to vote.
The Democrats will never sacrifice a voteregardless. But this guy really wants you
(19:15):
to believe that everything is completely legit, and he's hoping this will go away
like it went away the last time. So keep an eye on it.
We really need to hope that thisis actually gonna be pressed properly, that
they're actually gonna get this guy.The fact that they're bringing another case against
him. You're not gonna do thisunless you're confident that you're not going to
(19:36):
go to and oh, if you'rethe prosecutor, you're not gonna bring something
against this guy after he's already gottenoff on charges like this, unless you're
one hundred percent sure that you're gonnaget him, because it's just gonna be
embarrassing if you go for this twiceand you miss it both times. But
I don't know, We'll see howit plays out. We'll definitely keep an
(19:56):
eye on it, alrighty that he'sgonna do it for Today show. As
I'm sure you know, this newsWave is dead. There is no more
news Wave. It is now onlythe next Gen Report. It's just part
of the growing process and kind ofsort some things up. We are rebranding
the show. And I like thisa lot better. You know, news
Wave is just kind of something Icame up with off the top of my
head, and then this is justI put more thought into it, So
(20:19):
I'm I'm more partial towards this one. So yeah, I hope you guys
really enjoyed the show. As always, saame thing as normal. I love
to hear from me. I loveto see what you think about the show
