(00:24):
All righty, welcome back in ladiesand gentlemen. You know, I'm really
at a loss for words right nowwith this House speaker battle. It really
is just the gift that keeps ontaking, and by taking, I of
course mean taking forever. So quickrecap. We all know Steve Scalie.
Originally after Mike McCarthy actually got ousted, Steve Scalise was the Republican Party nominee

(00:46):
for speaker, and he went througha couple of rounds of voting. It
was clear he was never going toget the vote, so he withdrew his
nomination. And then Jim Jordan becamethe nominee for the Speaker of the House,
and he has had pretty much theexact same thing happened. He got
the party nomination after Steve's cley struppedout. He then proceeded to go through
three different rounds of voting, andeach time he hemorrhaged votes. First it

(01:11):
was eighteen people voted against him, then it was twenty two, and then
it was twenty five. So finally, after the third try, the Republicans
just decided to give up and choosesomeone else to nominate to be the Speaker
of the House. So to thegreat detriment of the country, Jim Jordan
will unfortunately, probably not ever bethe Speaker of the House, or at
least not this time around. Nowwe need to be asking ourselves where did

(01:34):
the opposition to Jim Jordan come from. Obviously, the Democrats all voted against
him because they're Democrats and he's aRepublican. But we only need a bare
majority to elect a speaker, andthe Republicans have a baar majority, so
that should have been an issue, right Well, it was. The vast
majority of Jim Jordan's opposition inside theRepublican Caucus came from Republican elites, and

(01:56):
it came because of his strong supportwith the Republican base. The Republican base
loves Jim Jordan, and that loveof Jim Jordan is very well earned.
Jim Jordan has done a lot ofgood work in order to earn the support
of the Republican base, and that'swhy the elite Republicans in Washington, DC
hate Jim Jordan's guts and do notwant him to be the speaker. See,

(02:20):
Jim Jordan is exactly the type ofget stuff done guy that we desperately
need in a leadership position, andbecause of that, he has been fighting
an uphill battle his entire career againstthe Republican establishment that just wants to play
nice, be that take the highroad type of people and not ever step
on anybody's toes. Which is allwell and good when you live in a

(02:40):
country where the two political parties bothhave the same goal but just disagree on
how to get there. Remember thatwas the line so long ago. Republicans
and Democrats all want the same thing, they just want to take a different
route to get there, and that'swhere the disagreement is. That's where the
politicing happened. And that's all welland good, But we don't live in
that world anymore. That's not areality. Republicans and Democrats don't want the

(03:02):
same thing anymore. It's not twoparties arguing over which way is the best
way to better America. That's notwhat's happening. One party actively wants to
destroy America and is actively siding withour allies, and the other party just
wants to play nice and pretend it'sstill the nineteen seventies and we could all
just be sweet to each other. And so when Jim Jordan does something like

(03:23):
have his committee do a bunch ofvery controversial investigations into the president and the
president's son. That winds up rufflingsome feathers. People get angry about that.
I mean, that's a really goodway to make some enemies. So
if you're part of the uniparty groupof rhinos that just wants to say what
they need to say at home inorder to keep winning elections, go give

(03:46):
their voters a pat on the backand say hey, I'm one of you
guys, and then just jet setoff to Washington, DC and help Joe
Biden spend billions and billions of dollarsand then go bowling at the White House.
Then when the time comes to picka speaker, you pick the guy
that's not going to make that difficult. You picked the guy that's not going
to be a thorn in the President'sside, because if you make Joe Biden's
life harder, then he's not goingto let you have a private bowling session

(04:10):
at the White House. I'm notmaking this up. This is what actually
happened in the middle of last week. While we're in the middle of a
massive battle over who should be theSpeaker of the House, one of the
main Republicans opposing Jim Jordan. Ratherthan working and trying to find either a
middle ground with Jim Jordan or findanother speaker candidate entirely, he just blows
off work completely, forgets everything, and goes bowling at the White House.

(04:32):
This guy, Representative Verne Buchanan outof Florida, originally voted for Jim Jordan
originally. He then on Wednesday switchedhis vote, which effectively blocked Jim Jordan.
And then that same night, Wednesdaynight, he went bowling at the
White House, and somebody who wasbowling with him, I guess probably one

(04:53):
of his friends or family made themistake of taking a video and posting it
because this was supposed to be onthe downlow. I guarantee it. This
was supposed to be one of thoseback deal things where the Republicans and the
Democrats are playing nice behind closed doors. But you don't see that, and
nobody knows. They think we're allenemies because that's what gets the boats.
And then you go and you bowlwith each other at the White House,

(05:15):
which is ran by the Democrats. You think they're just letting any Republican representative
they want walts into the White Houseand go bowling. You think he didn't
have to earn that, You thinkhe didn't have to prove himself to the
Democratic elite in order to be allowedinto the White House to go bowling.
And this isn't conspiracy theory nonsense either. The videos up on the internet.
Bright bart News did an article aboutit. You can look it up and

(05:38):
watch the video for yourself. He'sthere in the White House bowling And how
do you know it's in the WhiteHouse? They tagged the location. Instagram
and most other platforms that do likethose story features will have an option for
you to post your location on topof your photo or video or what have
you. So if you're out ata club having a good time with your
friends, or you're at a bowlingalley and post your locations, say hey,

(06:00):
I went to this bowling alley hada great time. Here it is
and some idiot in his party didthat with the White House, so we
all know the jig is up.We see you, this absolute joke of
a representative sold out everyone in hisdistrict and his party for a private bowling
session at the White House. Ifyou're not mad about that, If that
doesn't take you off it should youshould be angry. So Jim Jordan is

(06:24):
out now after three failed votes, the Republicans decided that they were going to
give up and pick another candidate. So we've got nine different people now in
the Republican Party that have declared torun for Speaker of the House. That's
Gary Palmer, Mike Johnson, TomEmmer, Dan Moyser, Kevin Hearn,
and Pete Sessions, Byron Donalds,Jack Bergham, and Austin Scott. I

(06:46):
just want to say, for therecord, none of these guys are better
than Jim Jordan. Jim Jordan shouldhave been the speaker since January. Why,
because he's the best candidate. He'sthe best Republican in the House of
Representatives, hands down. But absentJim Jordan, Byron Donalds is a great
guy. He's a member of theHouse Freedom Caucus, which Jim Jordan founded.
If we can't have Jim Jordan, then Byron Donalds is probably the next

(07:10):
best thing. At this point,I kind of have to assume that even
if Donalds wins the nomination, he'sgonna be kneecapped by other Republicans who are
more concerned with making sure that noone gets in the way of Joe Biden's
spending plans. Listen, we asvoters have got to stop allowing people in
our own party to constantly prioritize what'sbest for Washington, d C. Over

(07:31):
what their voters want. If youwere getting excited about Speaker Jordan, like
I was, and then you findout that your rep voted against him,
primary that representative, primary them, and don't listen to any of these stupid
excuses they give you. Don't evengive them the opportunity or the time of
day. If you're in one ofthe twenty five districts where a Republican voted

(07:53):
against Jim Jordan, call your representative'soffice. You can find their number online,
it's not difficult, and just tellthem, hey, listen, I
really wanted Jim Jordan to be theSpeaker and I'm really disappointed that you voted
against that. So I'm gonna bevoting against you in the next election.
We need to hold their feet tothe fire, because as long as we
allow them to keep getting away withthis Uni party nonsense, they're going to

(08:16):
keep doing it. It's not gonnastop. We need to put them in
a situation where they're actually asking theirselves, Hey, is this bowling trip at
the White House really worth my job? Would I rather be bowling at the
White House then continue to be arepresentative. We've got elections coming up next
November. We need to make thesepeople pay for these terrible decisions that they're

(08:37):
making on your behalf. And untilwe do that, every single representative in
the House of Representatives is gonna chooseWashington DC over you, the voter every
single time. And it will notstop until we make it stop by voting
them out of office. All right, we have good news out of Israel
for once, So as we allknow, we have like thirty something American

(08:58):
citizens that were missing or presumed deador whatnot, and many of them were
held hostage by Hamas in Gaza.Thankfully, last week two were released.
That is great news all around, especially with the concern that Hamas might start
executing the hostages, which was floatingaround early last week. There were rumors
that Hamas was threatening to execute thehostages. I can't speak to the truthfulness

(09:22):
of that. I don't know ifthat actually happened, but the headlines were
out there, so it's caused forconcern and given the fact that these people
are terrorists with no regard for life. It's definitely a reasonable concern to have.
So any number of people being releasedis good news, even if it's
a low number like two. That'stwo people that are safe. That's a
win. Now. Hamas, fortheir part, has claimed that they released

(09:43):
these two women for humanitarian purposes.I think the excuse they gave was something
medical related, like these two womenneeded a certain type of medicine that Hamas
couldn't provide, So Hamas released themso that they could go home and have
their medicine and survive or what haveyou. The actual reason they releases two
women is because Qatar broke heer toa deal to get them out. What

(10:05):
probably happened was Katar went to Hamasand said, hey, y'all look really
bad after you blatantly lied about thathospital incident, so you should make a
gesture of some sort to make yourselveslook better, to kind of win back
some of that media favor that youhad been enjoying in the West. So
Hamas decided to release these two hostages. We don't know the terms of this

(10:26):
release, we don't know the conditionsthey were kept in, and we probably
won't ever know because the two hostagesthey released are members of a family that
had several relatives being held captive byHamas. This particular family had thirteen different
family members either killed or taken prisonerby Hamas in that initial attack. So

(10:48):
it's safe to assume that Hamas stillhas members of this family being held hostage,
and they're probably using those as likea threat to say, hey,
you guys, don't speak anything badabout us, don't say anything about what
happened, and don't tell anybody anythingabout the terms of the exchange or anything
like that, because if you do, we're going to kill your family members
or we're going to torture your familymembers. So as much as we all

(11:09):
want to go celebrate and party becausewe got some of our people back,
we have to measure that up againstwhat the reality on the ground is,
and that is we still have abunch of our people being held prisoner.
There are still a bunch of Americansthat are prisoners of Hamas in Gaza,
including family members of the two womenthat were released. Their family is not

(11:30):
celebrating right now. Their family isnot partying. They want the rest of
their family back, and for therecord, I want the rest of all
the American citizens back. We shouldnot allow our people to be in enemy
hands. So that raises the question, what is our government doing about this
situation? What is our head ofstate doing about this situation. We've got
the Katari brokering a deal to getour people back for us. So in

(11:54):
the meantime, while they're doing that, what is Joe Biden doing. We've
got this massive crisis going on inthe Middle East. World War III is
getting ready to break out over here. So where is our president in the
midst of all this. Well,he's an eighty plus year old man,
and he's been doing exactly what youwould expect a filthy, rich, eighty
plus year old man to do.He's just taking long strolls on the beach

(12:15):
and completely ignoring the media. Here'sJoe Biden just peacefully strolling down the side
of the beach with his wife whilereporters desperately try to ask him questions,
and he just completely ignores them.So you can hear in the video,

(12:39):
this reporter is desperately calling out, mister President, have you heard anything about
the American hostages? Joe Biden justcompletely ignores her, keep walking he's walking
right next to Joe Biden in thevideo. She completely ignores her keep walking.
That's something I think you should commenton, right, I mean,
at the very least, this wastaken just days after we got two of
our people out. You don't thinkhe would have something to say about that.

(13:03):
But no, he's just strolling alongthe beach in Delaware, completely ignoring
the reporter, completely ignoring the problem. Now, the reaction from some might
be to say, hey, look, he's an old man. He's just
trying to enjoy a walk with hiswife. Leave him alone. I mean,
come on, what's the issue here. He should have time where he
doesn't have to deal with the press. He's just trying to enjoy a relaxing

(13:26):
afternoon. Yeah, except he's thePresident of the United States. He's not
some retired old man. He's thePresident of the United States. We're on
the verge of a freaking world war. There's Americans being held hostage by terrorists,
and he's on vacation for the umpteenthtime this year. Nobody else sees

(13:46):
a problem with that. Nobody elsethinks there's an issue there. I mean,
we just sent another US military shipinto the Middle East, We've activated
patriot and thermal defense systems throughout theMiddle East, and we just put two
thousand American soldiers on prepared to deployorders. And meanwhile, the commander in
chief of the United States Military, the President Joe Biden, who's supposed to

(14:09):
be the one issuing these orders,is on vacation and can't be bothered to
make a comment about it. Andwe're just supposed to sit here and pretend
this is fine and normal. Whatwe are seeing here is this war escalating,
not de escalating. This is gettingworse. The reason it's getting worse
is because we do not have leadershipin the White House. It's not just

(14:30):
our allies anymore. American military basis, American assets are being attacked now by
Islamic terrists across the world. Here'sa newsmax talking about the imminent escalation of
this conflict and the escalating possibility ofAmerican boots on the ground involvement. Think
I'm confirming several drone and rocket strikeson American assets stretching across the region,

(14:52):
one as recently as this morning, and we're still gathering information on a reported
rocket strike on Ala Sada Airbase inwestern Iraq. Casualties and damage remain unknown
at this time, but this marksthe second attack on that base over the
past twenty four hours. The runningback to a rocky Islamic Resistance taking credit
for most of the attacks this pastweek, including strikes in a rock in

(15:13):
Syria and then an attack by arunning back to uties on the USS Carney
off the coast of Yemen. Thatattack was more significant than previously thought,
with the destroyer taking on fifteen dronesand intercepting four cruise missiles suspected me traveling
north towards Israel. The attack thismorning bringing the total number of strikes on
US assets in the Middle East intothe double digits over the past couple of

(15:33):
days. It's viewed as an everby Iran through its proxies to either bring
the United States into the war throughits aggression or to deter US support.
Or it is not as he mentionediron there. If you recall they're the
guys. A couple months ago,we gave six billion dollars to the chickens
are coming home to roost ladies andgentlemen, and it does not look pretty.

(15:56):
This kind of stuff was not happeningwhen we had a leader in the
White House who showed up to workand was not gonna sit and try to
play nice with people that actively wantto destroy us. And we traded that
guy out for doddering old Joe becausewe didn't like the mean tweets or what
have you. Well, good job, guys, Look what a fat load
of good it's done us. We'regonna end up involved in a war here

(16:18):
pretty soon. I'm calling it now. And it's all because the guy who's
supposed to be keeping us out ofwars is too busy splashing about on the
beach in the middle of a internationalcrisis to actually do anything about it or
even offer comment. Alrighty real quick, before we're done here today, I
want to talk about the local electionsthat are happening here in Houston. Early

(16:41):
voting has started today and we've gotthe usual stuff like school boards of for
elections. There's a couple of differentbonds, and of course constitutional amendments that
are all up for vote. Soif you live in the city of Houston
or the Houston area, I wantto encourage you to get out and actually
early vote. And as Republicans,a lot of times that's a dirty word
to us we don't like early votevoting. We don't want to early vote.

(17:02):
Elections should be done on election day. That's when the voting should be.
And you know what, you're right, But at the same time, we
need to play with the cards thatwe're dealt and not the cards were wont
to have been dealt. The Democratshave been using the early voting system and
the mail in voting and stuff likethat to their advantage for a long time,
and as long as that's what wehave, we should kind of match

(17:22):
that. We need to play thesame game they're playing. So from today
until I think November three, youcan early vote in the City of Houston
and then the actual election is onNovember the seventh. Now, the main
kind of big attention drawer here withthis particular election is the mayoral race in
the city of Houston, and it'scome down to basically two candidates. There
is the infamous Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, who for a long time has proudly

(17:47):
held the title of biggest quite literallyidiot in Congress and Senator John Whitmyer.
He's a Democrat senator, a statesenator from here in Houston, and they're
kind of the top two contenders.Unfortunately, they're is not a Republican that
is a contender for this race. It's just there isn't one. Houston,
like most big major cities, isa Democratic stronghold. We are a blue

(18:07):
city. Unfortunately, John Whitmeyer, for his part, he has said some
pretty decent stuff on like the crimeissue. That's a big thing here in
Houston. There's been a lot ofcrime. It's been going up pretty consistently
year on year here in Houston. So John Whitmeyer has kind of made that
his campaign. And then Sheila JacksonLee is essentially just more Sylovester Turner,
except meaner and wider. I thinkher campaign may very well be over,

(18:30):
and the reason for that is thisaudio that got leaked a couple days ago
of her just cussing the hell outof everybody on her staff because apparently she
needed like a date for something andthat date was written down on a piece
of paper and the staffer didn't haveit directly in front of her. Now
this isn't new. For the record, There's been stories about how mean and

(18:51):
god awful Sheila Jackson Lee is fora long time. She has a pretty
long standing reputation as being the worstperson to work for for in Congress because
she's just mean. She's a meanperson and for no reason whatsoever. I'm
gonna play you this audio. It'sgoing to be heavily censored because I have
to. It's going to be awhole lot of beeping. But I really
want you to get the idea ofwho this woman is that really wants to

(19:15):
be the mayor of the City ofHouston, because the position of mayor is
a leadership position. You're leading allthe staff, you're leading the entire city.
You are the mayor. So Iwant you to listen to this audio
and in the entire time be thinkingif this woman was in charge of me,
if this woman was making decisions forme, how would I feel about

(19:36):
it? So just think on thatwhile you listen to this audio, that
you took a piece of favorite fromthat woman regarding something that was old like
done jupill? Where is it whatthey were going to from your pushure where
I'm took it up? So I'llhave to call tick it up when I
switched out to I don't want youto do other thing. I want you

(19:57):
to have a brain. I wantyou to Reddit I want to just bea
congressman. It was such and suchstate. That's what I want you.
That's the kind of staff that Iwant to have. So some stupid other
did it you and I don't havethe information. Nobody sent me the information
I need to ensure my eerience schedule. And uh, you know I if
Google did it? Did it,Face did it? And nobody knows what

(20:19):
the thing in my office? Okay, nothing. I gave it to you.
Your job was to get it onthe calendar imprinted in your brain.
Wants send me the information back, came Congressman. I made sure that the
old I duck and teal event thatyou gave me for so and so date
at seven is on the count. Not to p Jerome happened. Okay,

(20:41):
So when I called Jerome, seeon me sitting up there like I'm stupid
idiot talking about what he doesn't though. Okay, both of y'all are camp
the work did I could have hadput together too, said, idiots serve
no per managing. Nobody. Nobody'srespecting them. If I give a shit

(21:02):
about what you're doing and you ain'tdoing and this is an example of it.
I gave it to two this isnot child's workings. So she just
seems like a real sweet lady, doesn't she She should definitely be put in
charge. Let's let's make her themayor. She sounds like a well tempered,
sensible woman who can definitely be trustedwith the lives of like four million

(21:26):
people one hundred percent. So justwhatever you do, don't vote for Sheila
Jackson Lee. Don't be stupid.Don't do that. And also vote down
all of the bonds. I don'tcare what good hearted nonsense they tell you.
Oh, we're building this, we'rebuilding this. It's for this reason,
it's this charity. It's a taxincrease. That's what it is.

(21:48):
That's what every single bond is.Vote every single one of them down.
And of course, during the mayoralelections, specifically when you're going to cast
your mayoral vote, just think aboutthe type of person that you want to
represent city of. When people thinkabout h Town, space City, the
legend itself, ask yourself if youwant them to be thinking of that clip
of that god awful, ridiculous jokeof a woman. And if the answer

(22:12):
is yes, seek professional help. There's probably a hotline or professional or somebody
you can see about that, becausethere's something wrong with you. I'm sorry
al ready. That's going to doit for the show today. Once again,
I encourage you to go early vote. Go vote right now. The
polls are open. Look online tofigure out where you can go vote.
There's different restrictions based on which precinctor which county or what abbe you.

(22:34):
Of course, if you're voting inthe Houston election, you're in Harris County,
so just look at your precinct, look at what the rules are.
You can go online, put inyour address. It'll tell you what you
can vote on. It'll tell youwhere you can vote. So go early
vote, and please, for thelove of God, don't let Sheila Jackson
become a mayor of this city.Once again, thank you all very much
for listening. I hope you enjoyedthe show. As always, feel free

(22:56):
to reach out to me on socialmedia. My Instagram my Twitter account are
in the description of this episode.I'd love to hear your feedback. Once
again, thank you all very muchfor listening, and I will see you
on Wednesday for more of the NextGen Report.
