Speaker 1 (00:18):
Oh my gosh, I feel like every time I take
a break, just everything happens at once. You know, you
never get that feeling. Literally everything happens at once. I
dig one week, I don't do the show. Everything happens.
But you know, it's whatever. We got a lot to
get to. We got Notre Dame back. That's a big
one for me, just because I'm a nerd about history.
So that's pretty cool. Gosh, what else is big? As happened?
(00:41):
Daniel Penny got off. Congratulations Daniel Penny on that not
guilty verdict, well deserved. Let's start with something a little
bit lighter. We'll get into that later. That's that's kind
of We're gonna have to dig into that quite a bit.
Let's start with it's still out of New York, this
piece of news that I got for you. They have
not learned anything, the Democrats, especially the ones running the
(01:05):
state of New York. So we've got this big inflation problem.
It hasn't gone away. Lord only knows if or when
it will. And of course all of us know that
the root cause of that big inflation problem is, of
course the fact that the government has been spending so
much money and Inflation is when you have too many
dollars chasing too few goods. So what is the solution
(01:29):
to that? If you're Kathy Hochel, a massive idiot, it's
give more money to the people in New York. Just
throw money at the problem. The problem is too much money,
so we solve the problem by throwing more money at it.
Take a listen to Kathy Hockel's new plan to combat
inflation by sending anywhere from three hundred to five hundred
(01:51):
dollars to the residents of that state. Check this out.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Think in my budget. Next month, they will send you
a check to buy your groceries for a month or
whatever you want to spend it on. And if you're
an individual earning up to one hundred and fifty thousand
dollars a year, it's three hundred dollars. What does that
look like?
Speaker 3 (02:18):
All right?
Speaker 2 (02:19):
How about your individuals? Now, if you're filing jointly and
you have a family, you need a little more. Right,
families are expensive. How about this five hundred dollars five
(02:43):
hundred dollars for families earning less than three hundred thousand dollars.
Because I know life in New York City is expensive,
and your salaries may sound nice, but they don't go
very far.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Okay, I feel like at this point, and it's worth
pointing out that the State of New York has a
budget deficit of thirteen point nine billion dollars. Thirteen point
nine billion dollars, and then you want to give all
these people in New York another three hundred to five
(03:19):
hundred dollars. Again, where do you get the money from that? Like,
one of the first things I learned as a child
is money doesn't grow on trees. That money has to
come from somewhere, and the State of New York does
not really have anywhere to get it except taxes. So
guess what. Before you get too excited about all of
(03:41):
your new money that you're gonna get from the State
of New York and these little checks that Governor Kathy
Hokel was so kind to print out and display, it's
all gonna come right back out of your pocket, every
single dime of it. And this is true for every
government program, especially at the federal level. This is one
of the biggest problems of the federal government is the
(04:02):
fact that they have all these grants and these handout programs.
I think a lot of people. And this is primarily
driven by I think just kind of TVs in Hollywood
have this idea that the government just has an infinite
amount of money, you know, because we see it all
the time and movies in TV they have all of
this expensive stuff. It's like it comes out of nowhere.
(04:24):
That's all a lie. All of the government money comes
from us. It comes from the taxpayers. It's your money.
If they would just cut their taxes back a little bit,
ease up some of their business regulations so that companies
could make more money and pay people more money, the
state of New York would not feel the need to
give people this extra money. They just wouldn't because people
(04:48):
wouldn't be hurting that bad for cash. New York has
always been an expensive place, but it hasn't always been
this expensive. Used to be able to make it on
one hundred thousand dollars a year salary, but guess what
not anymore. I mean, you literally heard her talking about it.
She said, like one hundred thousand dollars, we'll give you
another three hundred bucks a month, just because. Another thing
(05:08):
that struck me is the fact that this is completely
no strings attached. She literally said you can spend it
on whatever you want, groceries or whatever you want. So
you're basically just giving people another five hundred bucks a
month to just play with. Because I guarantee you people
are not going to go spend all that on groceries.
They're just not. It's not human nature. When you have
(05:28):
extra money, you spend it on whatever you want, and
you justify it in your mind. You think, oh, well,
you know, I wasn't planning on having this money, and
I had already budgeted, so I'll just you think people
are putting this in savings. No, everybody in New York
just got a new PS five. That's what just happened.
Everybody's going to go out and buy video gaming consoles
(05:51):
because guess what, the State of New York is paying
for it. They have no requirements attached to it. You
don't have to spend it on groceries, that's what they say.
So it's palpable. So when you try to criticize them
for it and say, hey, the government should not just
be handing out money to people for fine, what you
don't want people to buy groceries. No, of course I
want people to buy groceries, but I want them to
(06:11):
do it with their money, not mine. And before you say, well,
you live in Texas, so why do you care, Well,
first of all, that's kind of a good point, because
I actually don't care. The state of New York will
collapse and I will laugh at it because those Yankees
deserve it. But no, I'm kidding, I'm kidding. I love
my New York friends. But here's what happens. And I
don't think enough people grasp this reality. When a state
(06:36):
cannot pay their bills, do you know what they do?
They go to the government, just like a child going
to daddy, and they say, hey, please give me money,
money please, like in parks and recreation, that annoying chick
who's like money please. That's what they do. And that
is my money coming from the federal government because I
(06:57):
pay my income tax. That money goes to the Feds,
and then the Feds give it to New York because
New York can't manage their budget. And when New York
is in debt and they can't pay for it, guess
what the federal government steps in. Thank you Alexander Hamilton
for that. If you've watched Hamilton, that's basically the entire
third act of the play as Hamilton saying, Hey, when
these states are in debt and they can't pay it back,
(07:19):
the federal government should assume it. And guess what, Alexander
Hamilton won that fight. So now, when New York has
no money because they gave it all to people who
can't manage their money anyway, all of that ends up
coming out of my pocket and your pocket too. You
should not be happy about this. How about you just
(07:40):
manage your money properly. How about the State of New
York managed their money properly. This really is not that difficult.
If I, as a twenty one year old can manage
to live within my means, I'm positive almost everyone in
New York can, and the State of New York as
an entity, one hundred percent can. All Right, we're just
getting started. It's been a busy week. Like I said,
(08:01):
we've got a lot to cover and we are starting
to roll into it. So stick with me through this
ad break and we will be right back with a
whole lot more in just one second. Less rock and
roll guys. Okay, I want to talk about this clip
from Tim Wallas. He went on some interview. I'm not
sure who exactly he's talking to. But I believe this
(08:22):
is his first official interview since he lost the race
in epic fashion. Congratulations to you, by the way, Tim
for absolutely blowing it. But he talks a lot about
how basically he got his vision for what he thought
the country wanted wrong. He thought the country wanted this inclusive,
(08:43):
everybody together, we all love each other vision, Ladi da
di da. They tried to bring people in and people
rejected that, and that makes him sad. Basically, he's moping
because they ran a terrible campaign and lost the election.
That's what's actually happening here. I'm gonna play you the
clip because what he actually says is very interesting because
it's a prime example of how what the left says
and what the left does and actually wants or two
(09:06):
completely different things. And I hope you catch the irony
when I first played the clip, But if you don't,
don't worry, because I'm going to point it out to you.
Take a listen. Here we go.
Speaker 4 (09:16):
I think we're going to have to understand what type
of leadership do they want. We were pledging to be inclusive,
we were pledging to bring people in. Donald Trump has
said that that isn't what he wants. And so if
that's what America's leaning towards, I guess for me it's
to understand and learn more about America because I thought
that they were going to probably move towards a more
positive message.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
We were trying to be inclusive and bring people in.
Are you sure about that? Are you sure about that?
Because I can name at least three people off the
top of my head that you guys actually pushed out,
and then Donald Trump and this kind of new wave
of Maga Trumpian Republicans then brought them in. Tulsi Gabbard, Rfk, Junior,
(10:03):
Elon Musk, and you know what, just as Cherry on
the cake, Joe Rogan, what do all four of those
people have in common? As recently as twenty sixteen, those
people were all very staunch supporters of the Democrat Party.
They were all very proud Democrats. Even twenty twenty, Tulsi
(10:26):
Gabbard ran for president as a Democrat. She basically killed
Kamala Harris's political career until Joe Biden rescued her because
she was such a strong Democrat. So how are you
going to convince me that you were the party that
was trying to bring people in that was trying to
(10:47):
build a coalition, that was trying to take people who
maybe disagreed and work together for the greater good of
the country. When all of those people for simply opposing
some of the Democrat establishment were completely pushed out of
the party. Because that's exactly what happened. That's exactly what happened.
I mean, I remind you. RFK Junior started his campaign
(11:11):
this cycle as a Democrat. He was running for the
Democrat Party nomination. And because he ran for the Democrat
Party nomination against Joe Biden, who the Democrat elite were
desperate to protect at all costs, they completely completely raided
the system against RFK Junior, forcing him to drop out
(11:32):
of the Democrat primary, forcing him to run as an independent.
And then he put out the offer to both candidates
when he was running as an independent. Remember this, he
reached out to both candidates, to Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.
He said, listen, I want to have a talk with
you guys about what I can do to help you,
(11:55):
because my concern is the health and well being of
the United States of America. Physical health of the United
States of America. The citizens of America. That has always
been his number one concern. He's been very consistent about
that during this campaign. And he reached out to Kamala
Harris and they didn't want to talk to him, and
then he reached out to Trump and Trump said let's
(12:16):
sit down, let's have a chat, and they talked about it,
and Trump got his endorsement because Trump had a conversation
with him. He said, listen, I disagree with you on oil.
I disagree with you on how hawkish you are in
the environment. However, I completely agree that there is deep
seated corruption within the health bureaucracy organizations like the FDA,
(12:37):
and I think we can work together to do something
about that. The Republican Party is doing exactly what the
Democrats have claimed to do. They're bringing people in that
they disagree with and saying we agree on these issues,
so we're going to work together on these issues. And
believe it or not, the American people actually like that message.
(12:57):
The American people like it when people worked together to
get good things done. And for all the talk that
the Democrats constantly give us about that, they never actually
do it. They never do. Joe Biden has been in charge,
he ran a campaign of let's fix America. What has
he fixed? Not a thing. He's made a bunch of
stuff worse. Inflation sucks. That's why Kathy Hochel has given
(13:20):
out a bunch of money. Has he fixed anything now?
Not a thing. And of course Democrats, the moment they
see somebody getting something done, they absolutely hate that. They
can't have that, they can't have people actually working together,
despite the fact that they disagree to make our country better,
to save our countries' money a little bit, so we
(13:40):
don't have a massive national debt, which is like thirty
six trillion I think right now. And the dirty little
secret is that's because they're all getting kickbacks from the
military industrial complex. It's a tale as old as time,
the military industrial complex and the the FDA and the
food lobbyists and the sugar lobby and all that stuff,
you know, everything we've been talking about for an entire
campaign cycle. And so that's why they're pushing so hard
(14:02):
against people like Pete Hegseth Trump's nomination for Defense Secretary,
And of course, as we've talked about, that's the guy
that they're trying to cavanaugh, and to his credit, he
is not dropping it. He is continuing to fight. We
went through in the last episode why the allegations against
him are complete nonsense. We talked about that, and there's
been a lot of talk about whether or not he's
(14:23):
going to drop out, whether or not he's gonna you know,
just call it today because he can't get through like
what's his face Gates did so far that has not happened.
He continues to fight, and he continues to make progress
here he is talking on Capitol Hill when he was
meeting with some senators about just kind of what he's doing,
what his process is looking like, and why he's still
(14:44):
fighting here.
Speaker 5 (14:46):
Wonderful process to go through and meet senators and talk
to them, especially members of the Senate Armed Services Committee,
whose passion is the Defense Department and our war fighters,
to hear what they want to do, to make sure
that department is properly oriented for the threats of the
world and make sure that we're putting the war fighters first.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
That's what Donald Trump asked me to do. Your job
is to bring a war fighting ethos back.
Speaker 4 (15:07):
To the pentagony.
Speaker 5 (15:08):
Your job is to make sure that it's lethality, lethality, lethality.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
Everything else is gone. Everything else that distracts from that
shouldn't be happening.
Speaker 5 (15:16):
That's the message I'm hearing from senators in that advising
content process. It's been a wonderful process.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
And see, that's exactly the attitude that we need across
the entirety of the federal government. What is the job
of this particular division of our federal government? What are
they supposed to be doing? And how can we make
sure that they are doing that in the best way
possible without any extra garbage, without any extra money being
(15:43):
spent that doesn't need to be spent, without any extra
programs that don't need to exist, without any wastes of time.
How do we fine tune every single part of our
federal government? And how do we work across the aisle
to do that? How do I get people who I
don't agree with everything, but I agree with this? You
think Pete Hegseth and Tulci Gabbard agree on everything politically?
(16:05):
Absolutely not like we just talked about. She's been a
Democrat for years. But I bet you they both definitely
agree that we need to be taking care of our soldiers,
and we need to be making sure our soldiers can
do their jobs because she was a soldier, as was
Pete Hegseth. They disagree politically on a bunch of stuff.
I'm positive about it because he's a lifelong Republican and
she's a lifelong Democrat. But they're coming together to serve
(16:29):
in an administration that's about getting stuff done. It's what
the Democrats have claimed to be for years without ever
being and their voters have let them get away with it. Guys,
don't let them get away with it. And if the
Trump administration doesn't deliver, don't let them get away with
it either. We have got to stop thinking about just
(16:50):
party lines and start looking at what actually needs to
get done. And we can disagree with what needs to
get done, but when we agree that there's a problem,
let's actually look at a solution. That's what's happening right
now in the Trump administration, and I love to see it.
The Democrats are pushing back as hard as they possibly
can against it. The Left is pushing back as hard
as they possibly can against it because they don't want
(17:13):
to give up the lie that they've never actually cared
about any of these issues the entire time. They are
there to maintain the status quo. While looking like they're
doing something that's their job. Republicans are guilty of this too.
There are establishment Republicans, but our party has been working
to weed those people out, get the establishment out, and
(17:34):
bring in the change makers. That's what this entire election
was about, and we've actually been doing it. There's still
some holdovers, we haven't gotten all of them, but we're
making progress and we're making progress fast. So let that
be a warning to all the Republicans. We're watching what
y'all do during this confirmation process. Tread carefully because primaries
(17:56):
are coming and I'm looking at you, John Cornyn. We
will why I marry you if you do not do
your jobs here. We want change. We do not want
the status quo. We don't want you to talk about change.
We want you to deliver it. Here's the opportunity to
deliver it. Do your job, all right, We'll be right back. Okay.
So let's talk about the Daniel Penny case. Because he
(18:18):
was acquitted on Monday, so that's that's great news. You
remember he was facing two charges. One was dropped on
Friday because the jury just couldn't come to a decision
on it, so they dropped one charge. I believe that
was the more serious one. It was like a manslaughter charge.
And then he was acquitted of the second charge on Monday.
So let me just walk you through kind of what happened,
(18:40):
just a refresher on the case. So this is from
Fox five New York. On May first, twenty twenty three,
Penny had left class and boarded an uptown F train
to Manhattan to head to the gym. Neely was on
board the train, and witnesses said he was shouting about
needing food and something to drink, before whipping his jacket
on the floor and starting to scream. They differed in
description of his movements and whether they were threatening. Now,
(19:03):
what they don't tell you there is, according to witnesses,
Jordan Neely, who is the I don't want to say
victim in this case because that just doesn't feel right,
but he's the person who died. He was like threatening people, saying,
I'm gonna kill everyone on this train. I don't care
about going back to jail, I don't care about dying.
I'm gonna kill everybody. So at this point Penny stepped in,
(19:25):
approached Neelie from behind, and with the help of two
other passengers Penny pinned Neely to the ground and placed
him in a choke hold until Neeli's body went limp
and he lost consciousness. The Medical Examiner's office ruled the
death a homicide caused by compression of the neck. Okay,
he also had a crap ton of drugs in his
system at the time, which is probably what killed him
(19:47):
if we're being honest with ourselves. But anyway, Dan Neely
or Daniel Penny, I'm sorry, was taking a trial over this.
And this is pretty clearly a person stepping in to
you know, protect his fellow p You know, these people
are on the train, there's this clearly crazy guy who's
threatening them and yelling at them, and you know, what
are you supposed to do? Are you supposed to sit
(20:09):
back and let this guy threaten people? Let this guy
talk about how much he's gonna you know, kill everybody,
and how he doesn't care if he goes to jail
and whatnot. Is that what we're supposed to do, just
sit back and let him threaten people. No, So, Daniel Penny,
along with two other guys who for the record, were
not white, there was a believe a Hispanic guy and
a black guy that helped him pin Jordan Neely down,
(20:30):
and Daniel Penny was the only one who was arrested.
He was the only one who was charged, and thankfully
he has been acquitted. Now the NAACP and BLM, as predicted,
have done their best to try and turn this into
a race thing, despite the fact that it is so
clearly not a race thing. As I just pointed out,
(20:50):
the other two people who were helping Daniel Penny hold
Jordan Nearly down, they were not white, and ironically they
were not charged either in the death of Jordan Eely,
just Daniel Penny. So CNN announces Daniel Penny was acquitted
of criminally negligent homicide in a subway hoke hold death
of Jordan Eely after more serious manslaughter charges was dismissed,
(21:12):
and the NAACP immediately tweets back saying the acquittal of
Daniel Penny in the death of Jordan Neely has effectively
given license for vigilante justice to be waged on the
black community without consequences. It's a painful reminder of the
iniquities of our justice system. Jordan Neely deserved compassion, instead
he was met with violence. We stand with his family
(21:33):
and calling for accountability. Now here's the great thing about x. Normally,
in years past, you'd be able to post outright propaganda
like this and just get away with it. But these
days we have community notes. So this post from the
NAACP immediately got slapped with a community note and said this.
Daniel Penny did not act alone in defending himself and
others from Neey, a black man can clearly be seen
(21:55):
assisting Penny to subdue Neely, a black woman testified in
defensive Penny. There is no evidence that Penny was motivated
by race. Just immediately smacking down the race narrative, and
this is a good thing. Putting the racial narrative on
life support is incredibly important for this country. It is
incredibly important because every time there's an instance of two
(22:17):
people getting into a scuffle and their races don't match,
that cannot be a race thing every single time, and
pretending it is a race thing every single time without
ever looking into the other details, everything else that was
going on in that instance, it's not healthy. They did
this with Kyle Rittenhouse back in twenty twenty when those
(22:38):
three people attacked him and he killed two of them,
and it severely injured the other one in self defense,
and he was acquitted of all those criminal charges. All
three of those guys, as well as Kyle Rittenhouse, were white,
and they still tried to paint Kyle Rittenhouse as a
white supremacist for years, and they're trying to do the
same thing with Daniel Penny despite an absolute lack of
(23:00):
evidence that this guy was anything other than a citizen
who realized that something was going on. This was a
very volatile situation. This guy, Jordan Neely, was saying he
was going to kill people on this subway and didn't
care about the consequences. If you don't step in in
that situation, what are you supposed to do? Let it
(23:21):
happen here. He is Daniel Penny right after he got
acquitted in a Fox interview and he talks about this.
He talks about the fact that, like, listen, I'm not
trying to be a hero. I'm not trying to be
a vigilante. But I saw a situation in which I,
being a former marine and someone who's you know, physically
fit and capable, could step in and help people, and
(23:42):
I felt I had a moral duty to do that.
And guess what you do It's the old Spider Man quote,
with great power comes great responsibility. If you have the
capacity to do something good to help and protect other
people and you don't, when the bad things happen, they
happen because of you. It's amazingly true. And how accidentally
right wing that quote from Spider Man is. It actually
kind of cracks me up. But take a listen to
(24:04):
this interview from Fox with Jordan Neely and tell me
if this strikes you as a type of person who's
just an alt right vigilante who wants to take down
black people.
Speaker 6 (24:16):
I mean, I'm not a confrontational person. I don't really
extend myself, and I think this type of thing is
very uncomfortable. All this attention in limelight is very uncomfortable,
and I would prefer without it. I didn't want any
type of attention or praise or and I still don't
(24:39):
the guilt I would have felt if someone did get hurt,
if he did do what he was threatening to do,
I would never be able to live with myself. And
I'll take a million court appearances and people calling me names,
(25:00):
people hating me, just to keep one of those people
from getting hurt or killed.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
That is exactly the type of attitude that we should
be seeing from every single person, especially every single man
in the United States of America. If you have the
ability to help protect people, you should be willing to
do that. You should be and when you do do that,
when you do protect people from someone who's violent and
clearly crazy and was drugged out at the time, this
(25:32):
guy had copious amounts of K two, which is a
marijuana supplement or like a marijuana. It's synthetic marijuana, basically,
and it has been known to cause psychosis and whatnot,
because even natural marijuana will make you a little bit paranoid,
it'll kind of mess with your brain a little bit
when you take it, and K two is much worse.
It does the same things, but like ten times more
because it's synthetic and it's just chemicals and it'll mess
(25:54):
with you. But anyway, this guy stepped in to help people,
and he was treated as a criminal by the State
of New York, and the Left has villainized him in
one of the most disgusting ways I've seen since the
villainization of Kyle Rittenhouse. But both of those people were
equitted because both of those were people who simply saw
a problem and knew that they could step in and
(26:14):
help people, and they did that without concern with their
own safety. They saw an opportunity for them to help people,
and so they said, Okay, I can help people. Saw
him going to That's a good thing. We should encourage
that in America. And I'm not saying we should encourage vigilanteism,
but if there's a situation where you are immediately in
the position to stop someone from being hurt or killed,
(26:35):
you should not have to think about if I stop
someone from being hurt and killed, am I going to
go to jail for it? That's disgusting. But the good
news is justice prevailed. Our system did work. It took
longer than it should have to work, but it did work.
He was acquitted, and you know, as is his right
as an American and an adult, after going out and
(26:56):
dealing with this incredibly traumatic experience and difficult experience, he
went out and you know, had some bruskies with the boys.
Nothing wrong with that. We live in America. God gave
us alcohol to make the heart glad. So you know,
drink responsibly. When you feel the need to have a
cold one, have a cold one. And so he went
out and did that, and that got Whoopy Goldberg so mad.
(27:17):
The audacity of this man, who had done nothing wrong
and went through an incredibly difficult ordeal at the hands
of corrupt prosecutors in New York. He had the audacity
to go out and drink a beer afterwards and take
a selfie with some of his lawyers, people who I
assume he's become close friends with because they helped rescue
him from several years in jail. To say the least,
(27:38):
he went out and had a beer and took a
selfie and posted it and how dare he? Here's Whoopy
Goldberg losing her mind over this. There's been polarizing reaction
to this verdict as well. I don't know. I don't
know that seeing them celebrating.
Speaker 7 (27:54):
In a bar.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
Made me comfortable.
Speaker 4 (27:59):
You know, I mean, you killed a guy.
Speaker 1 (28:02):
The man is dead, and maybe just you take the
celebration home. You don't do it outside.
Speaker 7 (28:07):
But that's just me. Don't listen to anything I say, Yeah,
the moment, how.
Speaker 1 (28:10):
Do we well, you know what will be today's your
lucky day? Because I won't. The goal here is not
to make you comfortable. Whoopy Goldberg sitting in your little
chair on ABCTV. Did you just sit through a massive
court case for weeks? Have you had your image blasted
all over televisions for a month and a half calling
you a racist for no reason at all? No, you didn't,
(28:33):
so shut up. If you want to have a beer
at a bar after getting acquitted for murder, go for it.
If you want to talk about being comfortable, how uncomfortable
do you think he was sitting in a courtroom being
charged with a crime that he didn't do, just because
he wanted to keep people safe. I don't care about
your comfort. If seeing him have a beer with his
boys makes you uncomfortable, turn off your phone. You don't
(28:55):
have to look at it. But guess what. This guy
did not have the option to turn off the courtroom,
stuck in there for days and hours on end. But
thank god that the jury made the right choice and
this man is free. Because we need to encourage people
to step up and keep themselves and others safe when
it's necessary. That's a good thing. All right. Let's wrap
(29:17):
things up on a happy note. Congratulations to President elect
Donald Trump on winning Time Person of the Year. Now
this shouldn't really surprise you at all. Because when I
heard that he was in the running for like the
top four or five, like he was one of the
top three finalists. Basically, I thought, well, no, duh, right,
(29:38):
So let's run through a timeline of Donald Trump this year.
So first of all, he spent much of the early
parts of the year sitting through court and managing to
take some of the most iconic pictures while in court.
I followed this pretty closely because I had to for work,
and like every day there would be a new iconic
(29:58):
picture of Donald Trump into the courtroom, out of the courtroom,
sitting in the courtroom. It was honestly pretty cool. So
then he goes up and he does the most killer
presidential debate in all time, effectively ending Joe Biden's career.
After what freaking a thousand years of Joe Biden being
in public life, Donald Trump killed him live on stage
(30:19):
and ended his political career. And then there was the
assassination attempt, And that to me was pretty much when
the election was solidified, when his Person of the Year
status was solidified. Like you don't get shot at take
a bullet to the ear, and then rise up, put
(30:39):
your fist in the air and say fight and not
get Time Person of the Year. That was amazing. I mean,
that picture was everywhere. We've all seen it. The picture
of him holding his fist up with the flag in
the background. It's epic. It's amazing. You can't not love that.
So of course that gives him Time Person of the Year,
and then from there on the campaign only gets better.
(31:01):
Donald Trump, I think ran the best political campaign in
American history, just because of how funny and iconic it was.
Like the whole going to McDonald's thing amazing, amazing, and
not because people think he actually worked at McDonald's. The
funniest part of that to me was all the media
outlets was like, actually he closed the McDonald's and it
(31:24):
was just a bunch of you know, people that had
signed up to go and some reporters and want, yeah, dude,
because it's a freaking political stunt, and somebody just tried
to assassinate him earlier. They're not just gonna let him
roam free in a McDonald's unsupervised after somebody tried to
kill him. That's not how being the former president of
the United States works. But it was amazing. It humanized
(31:44):
him in a very epic way and plus there was
a lot of really funny moments and funny pictures. And
then you know, Joe Biden has the garbage comments, and
so Donald Trump, with his finger on the pulse, brings
out a Trump garbage truck and wears a garbage man outfit,
and it's just it's hilarious, it's amazing. And then of
course the icing on the cake is in a blowout win,
(32:05):
he takes the House, he takes the Senate, he takes
the popular vote victory, and the electoral College vote victory.
That's a huge win. And it's been an incredibly iconic,
incredibly fun campaign to watch. I've legitimately had a good
time following politics this year. It's been very entertaining. And
of course there's nobody more influential than Donald Trump. He
(32:27):
has controlled the median narrative twenty four to seven. All
over television all year, it's been Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump.
And that worked out in his favor because he won
by a lot. So of course he wins Time Person
of the Year. Of course it should go without saying.
And plus usually presidents when they win, become the Time
Person of the year. That's just it's common. It happened
(32:50):
to him in twenty sixteen when Joe Biden won. In
twenty twenty, him and Kamala Harris got it, So of
course this year Trump gets it. Now you'd think, okay, well,
every year the president gets it, so this isn't really
that big of a deal, right, Every election year, whoever wins,
gets Time Person of the Year. It's common. We shouldn't
really think too hard about it. Really doesn't mean all
that much, right, well, normally yes, But if you're Joy
(33:11):
read on MSNBC, it's worth pointing out why because Hitler
was also the Time Person of the Year way back
in the day. So clearly Trump is a Nazi, right
that makes sense if you're stupid. Here's Joy Reid on
MSNBC going off and talking about how evil Time magazine is.
And we know they're evil because they gave their Person
(33:33):
of a Year award to Donald Trump as well as
Hitler and Stalin and all the worst people in the world.
Take it away, Joy Reid, you massive idiot.
Speaker 3 (33:43):
And let's remember who else has been given this title
in years past in the same category. Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin,
Iatolajoemeni and Vladimir putin. In fact, Stalin won the distinction twice,
just like Trump, regardless of the company he keeps. We
know how important these magazine to Trump. Just look at
this tour he gave the Washington Post in twenty fifteen
(34:05):
of his Trump Tower office with a wall adorned with
his various cover appearances.
Speaker 1 (34:11):
You know, kind of fill in the gas for you
a little bit. In case you didn't know what Times
Person of the Year, what that award is. It's literally
just an award that Time magazine gives to whoever kind
of generates the most headlines and is the most influential
person of that year. And that can be for any reason,
any reason at all, whoever generates the most headlines and
(34:34):
is the most kind of media focused person. So she's
trying to compare Trump winning that award now to Adolf
Hitler and Joseph Stalin winning that award seventy five eighty
years ago. How stupid do you have to be? It
is Trump arrangement syndrome, That's what it is. These people
(34:56):
are obsessed with making Trump out to be the worst
villain in human history, and they will go to whatever
lengths possible in order to do that. They will connect
the most wild dots. It's like, you know that kind
of meme of the conspiracy theorist with the whiteboard up
against him and it's got all the photos and maps
and what a stick to it, and then it all
(35:17):
the strings and whatnot connected and everything, and it just
it shows how crazy he is. That's these people with Trump.
They will connect anything to anything else if it maybe
even kind of makes Trump look like a bad guy.
It's not healthy. It's really not. It's it's frankly, it
concerns me a little bit because what are these people
(35:38):
gonna do when they don't have Trump to focus their
iron anymore? Like, what do you do with your life
if your joy read and Donald Trump leaves office in
four years because he's not eligible for reelection because this
is his second term. So what do you do? You've
got nothing now. Your entire personality is how much you
hate Donald Trump. So when Donald Trump is gone, you're
(35:59):
just gonna be an empty husk. It's baffling, But I
mean the good news is people for the most part
aren't really buying it. MSNBC's ratings are cratering, so people
have gotten sick of this. They're waking up to it.
They're waking up to the fact that the media is garbage.
Most people that is, There are still some people that aren't.
(36:19):
There are still some people that listen to idiots like
Joy Reid and they take them at their word and
they believe what they say. And those people then go
on TikTok and they have breakdowns at Time Magazine. I
want to play you this clip of this lady on TikTok.
I don't know who she is, She's some random TikToker,
but this makes my point perfectly. She just goes off
(36:40):
on Time Magazine about how evil and washed up the
media are because they gave Donald Trump an award. Take
a listen to this.
Speaker 7 (36:49):
Well, Time Magazine. Just when you thought the media couldn't
get any worse, you guys said, hold my beer. In
a year where we had Taylor Swist, Kamala Harris, and
Gisel Pichat, you chose the most repugnant, vile human being
(37:10):
to ever walk the earth as your Person of the Year.
At least half of America and probably most of the
world is absolutely disgusted. I hope you go out of business.
Speaker 1 (37:27):
Okay, there's a lot to unpact there. First, of all,
who the heck is Giselle Pichot or whatever she said?
Like the three people that she named that should have
got it other than Trump, Taylor Swift, who has done
nothing except ruin the NFL, and Gisel Pichaut, who I
have never heard of. I don't know who that is.
And Kamala Harris, who has done legitimately nothing except blow
(37:50):
a billion dollars or more on the worst political campaign
I have ever seen in my life, possibly in American history.
I mean, she came out with over a billion dollars
in donations, she came out twenty million dollars in debt
and lost. So that's something to take a look at.
But Taylor Swift, really, I mean, she had a big,
like two year long tour that I believe is the
(38:12):
highest grossing tour in music history. So I mean, maybe
that's something for like the music industry. Give her an
award for that in the music but Time Person of
the Year, come on, let's be realistic. And again, who
is just LP show? Somebody fill me in. I gotta
know who she thinks is worthy of this. But what
I really want to look at is the fact that
(38:32):
she said Donald Trump is the most I don't forget
what the word she used, but basically worst person to
walk the earth ever. Okay, you are excluding actual Adolf Hitler.
When you make a statement like that, you are placing
Trump above Adolf Hitler, who, as Droy Reeve will point out,
also one time Person of the Year. I say all
this to say, these people are so deranged by their
(38:56):
hatred of Donald Trump they cannot process the real world anymore.
And this is something they're gonna have to learn how
to deal with. All right, that is all I've got
for you this week. We are going to continue to
follow this drone situation. I don't know what's going on
with that. That'll probably develop more over the weekend, so
take a look at my Instagram and Twitter for the latest.
That's all I got for you guys this week. Thank
you very much,
