(00:24):
Alrighty, ladies and gentlemen, welcomeback in. First of all, don't
tell me global warming is real, because I am in Houston, Texas right
now, and it is currently awhopping forty six degrees. That is ridiculous.
That is unnecessarily cold. If morecarbon pollution is what it takes to

(00:47):
fix the weather in this city, bring it up to an even seventy I
am game for that. I fine, get a diesel engine and just let
it idle because it is too coldin this city. Anyway. We finally
have some news coming out of theGOP primary. After months and months of
constant back and forth, months ofway too many candidates crowding the field,

(01:10):
crowding the stage, all yelling overeach other in the middle of debates,
we are finally seeing the herd startto thin out. That's right, ladies
and gentlemen, Larry Elder has officiallydropped No, I'm kidding. Nobody cares
about Larry Elder. Nobody ever caredabout Larry Elder. I didn't even know
he was running until I saw aheadline announcing that he had dropped out.

(01:30):
The actual news is that everyone's favoriteGOP candidate and front runner Mike Pence has
finally dropped out of the race.I mean, he's spent months fighting with
Nicki Haley for the esteemed title ofleast likable candidate in the race, and
he finally decided to just call itquits. He gave up. He realized
he could never be less likable thanNicki Haley, and he gave up.

(01:53):
So here he is making that announcementat some event for Jewish Republicans in Las
Vegas. I just couldn't sit thisone out. But the Bible tells us
that there's a time for every purposeunder Heaven. I'm traveling across the country
over the past six months. Icame here to say, it's become clear

(02:16):
to me this is not my time. So after much prayer and deliberation,
I have decided to suspend my campaignfor president defective today. Now I'm leaving
this campaign, but let me promiseyou I will never leave the fight for

(02:39):
conservative values and I will never stopfighting to elect principled Republican leaders to every
office in the land. So helpme God, I cannot, for the

(03:00):
life of me figure out why hewas sniffing that mic That hard like that
to me, honestly, out ofall the things to take away from that
little speech that he gave, thefact that he's sniffing the mic that much
and that hard its steered into mybrain. I can't even think about the
rest of the speech, even thoughI really want to, Like he's given
that microphone the Joe Biden treatment. It does kind of crack me up.

(03:22):
Though the big principled stand that he'sand this has always been his act.
He's always the principled guy. He'staking a principal stand. So he realized
he couldn't sit this election out.Yes, you could. You could sit
this election out. Everybody knows youcould have sat this election out because everybody
knew from the moment your campaign startedyou were never gonna get anywhere. That's

(03:43):
why it cracks me up when whenhe says I've realized this is not my
time, and the people gasp,They're like, oh no, what do
you mean it's not your time?We thought zero point two percent in the
polls meant you had this clenched. We thought this was your moment. What
do you mean you're dropping out?And then there's one guy that starts clapping

(04:03):
whoever you are out there, Thatone man who while everyone was gasping,
started clapping when Mike Pence announced thathe had given up his race for the
presidency. I salute you, sir, random man in the audience clapping for
Mike Pence dropping out. He trulyrepresents the people, he does. That
one guy clapping for the quitting ofMike Pence. I mean, all I

(04:27):
can really say is good riddance.I cannot state enough how much I don't
like Mike Pence, and clearly mostRepublicans agree with me, because he never
got more than like two percent inthe polls. But my first thought when
I heard he was running for theGOP nomination was just why, because obviously
he hasn't been popular with the RepublicanParty since twenty twenty, and to his
credit, a lot of that's notreally his fault, it's Donald Trump's fault.

(04:49):
But even before that, he neverreally got Republicans fired up. I
mean, just think back to thetwenty sixteen election when he was running for
president, and yeah, he ranthen too. I bet you forgot most
people did because nobody ever actually caredabout this guy. But the only reason
he ever made it as far asthe vice presidency is because Donald Trump knew
that he needed a more toned down, mainstream Republican to balance out his just

(05:12):
trumpiness. That's the only thing MikePence ever had going for him. So
unless you can convince Donald Trump topick you again as VP, you're never
gonna get anywhere. And obviously DonaldTrump was not going to pick him to
be his VP because Donald Trump threwhim to the fire and used him as
a scapegoat back in twenty twenty.Again not Mike Pence's fault. I do

(05:34):
kind of feel for the guy inthat respect. A lot of people don't
like Mike Pence, who didn't careabout him before, purely because of Donald
Trump. That's a credit to Donaldtrump skill as a politician. First of
all, you don't have to likewhat Donald Trump did to Mike Pence to
recognize that it was a good politicalmove. Just knock him out immediately,
Just use him as a scapegoat,Pin all your twenty twenty problems on Mike

(05:57):
Pence and call it a day.It was a smart move on Donald Trump's
It wasn't necessarily a classy move.It wasn't a nice thing to do,
but it was smart and it workedout because Donald Trump is still in the
race and Mike Pence isn't. Butdon't get me wrong, that doesn't mean
that up until twenty twenty, MikePence was a good candidate. Mike Pence
has never been a good candidate. He wasn't a good candidate in twenty sixteen,
which is why he didn't win,and he really didn't have any business

(06:18):
running this year or this cycle.Really, all Mike Pence is is just
a perfect example of an establishment, mainstream talking point Republican. Like if you
were casting a Netflix show and therole sheet said just basic Republican, you
would cast Mike Pence. The problemis that doesn't play anymore. The Republican
base has had their taste of populismwith Trump, and they want more of

(06:41):
that. So the whole praise Godand bab Iraq Republicanism that Mike Pence and
even to a lesser extent, NikkiHaley represent that's just not gonna win you
elections anymore. And that brings usto the moment that Mike Pence's campaign really
ended. I mean, yeah, technically it ended when he announced literally two
days ago that he was done running, but in reality it actually ended right

(07:03):
after Tucker Carlson brutally hacked it tobits with a verbal machete. So let's
take just a brief moment to rememberthe only interesting part of Mike Pence's twenty
twenty four run. Courtesy of TuckerCarlson. Here we go in maybe January,
we'll let somebody transfer some jets.I'm sorry, mister Vice President,
have you I know you're running forpresident. You are distressed that the Ukrainians

(07:27):
don't have enough American tanks. Everycity in the United States has become much
worse over the past three years.Drive around. There's not one city that's
gotten better in the United States, and it's visible. Our economy has degraded,
the suicide rate has jumped, publicfilth and disorder and crime have exponentially

(07:48):
increased. And yet your concern isthat the Ukrainians, a country most people
can't find on a map, who'vereceived tens of billions of US tax dollars,
don't have enough tank. I thinkit's a fair question to ask,
like, where's the concern for theUnited States in that? Well, it's
not my concern, Tucker. I'veheard that routine from you before, But

(08:09):
that's not my concern. That's notmy concern. The United States as a
country is literally crumbling to bits aroundus in real time, and a man
that wanted to be the president ofthe United States just said, that's not
my concern. I mean, whatis your concern then, the military industrial
complex and their well being, becausethose are the people that funded your campaign.

(08:33):
I mean, with everything going onhere at home, the gas price
is historic inflation, weaponization of thejustice system, out of controlled crime on
a national level, and you're worriedabout how many American tanks Ukraine has come?
On? Man, how tone deftdo you have to be? And
it would have been one thing ifhe had said, well, that's one
of many concerns, because let's behonest with ourselves. It is we do

(08:54):
need to be paying at least alittle bit of attention to what's happening in
Ukraine because we don't want Russia tobecome a superpower because they're evil. That
is a perfectly valid point. Howwe go about doing that is up for
debate, and I don't think wedo it by just throwing money at Ukraine
and not paying any attention to it. But at the same time, something
that's a little bit more important ismaking sure that we as a nation are

(09:16):
stable here at home, making surewe have a stable economy, making sure
that our citizens can walk outside,go to the grocery store and afford the
groceries, afford the gas, andthen be able to leave the grocery store
without immediately getting robbed. That Ithink is a little bit more important.
They're both important, but what's goingon here at home is more important.
And if he had said, that'sjust one of many concerns. I'm also

(09:39):
concerned with everything you just said,Tucker, but I'm also concerned with what's
going on in Ukraine because we haveto put checks and balances on Russia.
That would have been completely fair. Most people probably wouldn't have agreed with him,
but that would have been a fairpoint to make. That's not what
he said. He said, I'mnot concerned with what's going on here at
home. I am only concerned withwhat's going on in Ukraine. I'm not

(10:03):
concerned at all with how I canhelp improve the lives of my citizens and
how I can serve my country.I am concerned with what's going on in
Ukraine. That's insane. He shouldhave just said, you know what,
my bad I'm dropping out of therace right there on the stage because in
that moment, his campaign was over. It was over from the beginning because
nobody liked him and he was nevergoing to win anything, especially not in

(10:26):
the Republican Party. But that isthe moment that Tucker Carlson, to his
great credit, just absolutely killed hiscampaign like that on the spot. There's
a million reasons to not like MikePence. There's a million reasons to not
want him to be president. Thatto me is the biggest, And make
no mistake, I guarantee you NikkiHaley thinks the same thing. She's not
stupid enough to say it, toher credit, but she thinks the same

(10:50):
thing because that's the establishment belief. They're bought and paid for by the military
industrial complex, and so that's wheretheir concern are. It's like I said,
Praise God and Iraq. That's thesepeople entire political philosophy. Spend all
the money we possibly can on war, both home and abroad, and then
go back to your district, goback to wherever whoever elected you, and

(11:13):
just say enough things about how muchyou love Jesus, and then nobody will
notice. That type of Republicanism doesn'tfly anymore. The Republican base is sick
of it. We are no longerstable enough as a country to have the
luxury of that kind of politics. We just aren't. It really makes me
think of that meme where it's twoplanes that are flying over some Middle Eastern

(11:39):
village dropping a bomb, and oneis just a regular plane dropping a regular
bomb, and it says Republicans, and then the other picture next to it
is another regular plane dropping a bombthat's got like a Pride flag and it
says BLM on it, and it'sDemocrats. The reality is people are just
sick of that. That's why youhave all the leftists protesting against our funding

(12:00):
of Israel, and that's why youhave all the Conservatives getting all worked up
and jamming to Richmond. North ofRichmond. It's the same coin, it's
just different sides at the end ofthe day. That's why Donald Trump was
and is so popular is because hedidn't play that game. He actually went
about making peace in the Middle East, and he didn't care enough about politics
to play nice with everybody. Hewould say mean things and then solve global

(12:22):
problems. And we need more ofthat. It's why he was popular.
It's why he continues to be popular, and it's probably why he's going to
win the twenty twenty four presidential nominationfrom the GOP. And I truly hope
he wins the presidency because whether youlove Donald Trump or hate him, you
can't deny that life was better fromabout twenty seventeen to about twenty twenty.
All right, really quick, Iwant to give you an update on the

(12:43):
main shooter. They found his bodyat the recycling plant that he used to
work at. It's about ten milesaway from Lewiston, Maine, which is
the town that he shot up.I mean, you have to assume that
he went there and he took hislife immediately after the shooting, but there's
no way to be sure of that. Authorities don't know when he died,
but he was wearing the same sweatshirtthat he was wearing while he was doing

(13:07):
the shooting, So I think it'ssafe to assume that he probably just went
straight there and took his own life. Of course, the authorities found in
his home what appeared to be asuicide note. So it is a bit
of a relief because there was afear that if he's still out there,
he might strike again, he mightdo another shooting someplace else. So the
fact that that's not a threat anymore, that is a good thing. As

(13:28):
much as we would have liked tosee him actually go to court and get
actual, legitimate justice for the heinousmurdering that he did, the fact that
everyone in the city of Lewiston,Maine can breathe a sigh of relief and
be able to walk outside without worryingthat he's going to strike again is one
hundred percent a good thing. Butagain, the real story here is law

(13:50):
enforcement really needs to step their gameup. Specifically, in this instance,
they searched this recycling plant that heworked at originally for him, but they
didn't search all of it, sothey thought it was clear. And he
may very well have still been deadin that recycling plant because they didn't check
the part of the plant that hewas in when they found him. There's
just so much about this shooting andthe aftermath and all of it that really

(14:13):
needs to be looked into seriously. The fact that this guy clearly had these
mental health problems months in advance andnothing was done about it, despite laws
that are already on the books, and more importantly, We really need to
start taking seriously the mental health problemin this country because it is rampant,
it is everywhere, it is notdifficult to find and observe, and we

(14:35):
just keep treating it like it's nothing. We keep normalizing mental illness. That's
gotta stop. And as much asI hate to say it, until we
finally realize that, hey, weshouldn't be normalizing mental illness and actually take
it seriously, I'm afraid that we'regoing to see more of this because that
is the root. Cause. Youcan put bandages on all the symptoms all
day, but eventually you're going torun out of band aids if you're not

(14:56):
trying to solve the root problem. And the sad reality is that nobody ever
really seems to care about solving theroot problem until it's too late. It's
always after one of these tragedies thatwe start having this discussion, and we
only have this discussion after we havethe gun control discussion. We need to
start having these discussions before the tragedieshappen, and then if the tragedy has

(15:18):
happen, we need to preempt thegun control discussion with the mental health discussion
because that's the real problem here.It always has been and it always will
be until we fix it. Allright, It's now come to my favorite
part of the show where we allget together just laugh at and mock somebody
who says something ridiculous on the internet, and we have got a doozy today.
Have you ever said to someone everin your life good morning? Like,

(15:43):
say, you wake up, yougo downstairs and you see your mother,
your brother, a member of yourfamily, your spouse, what have
you just another person that lives inthe house with you, that got up
before you and is in the kitchendoing whatever. So you go down to
get a bowl of cereal in themorning and you see them and you say
good morning. That's really racist, and that's really messed up that you did
that, as I have just foundout, did you know that saying good

(16:07):
morning is a racist thing to do? Asking someone if their mourning has been
good or telling them to have agood morning is in fact, incredibly racist.
Now how do we know this? How do we know that saying good
morning is a racist thing? Well, a person of color on the internet
told us so that makes it trueimmediately right off the bat. So let's
delve right in. I'm gonna lether break it down for you, because

(16:30):
she does a way better job ofit than I possibly could because I'm white,
shame on me. So we're gonnahave her explain it to us because
she knows all because she is aperson of color on the internet, and
that means she's the font of truth. So I don't want to spoil it
too much because this one's a dooozy, So let's just jump right in,
you off of it, so nobodywould think about what it really originated from.

(16:55):
It was really a mockery towards blackslaves, it in this case being
the phrase good morning, and thenmaking fun of what they did to their
people when someone was hung, killed, or sold off to a different plantation.
So that was day way of beingfunny. So she puts up on
the screen right here, this istheir way of being funny. The definition
of the word morning spelled m oU r n i n g as in

(17:18):
morning, as in your in mourning, you're crying, which if you've ever
typed out the phrase good morning, you would know that those are two completely
different words. She clearly doesn't knowthat did you have a good morning?
Did you have a good cry?About that? Person's death. Did you
have a good cry about your daughterbeing tooken away from you and sold off

(17:38):
somewhere else? Did you have agood cry of your brother being hung yesterday?
That was their way of being funny? Good morning everyone. All right,
I'm gonna go ahead, and I'mquite literally gonna spell this out so
that nobody is confused. So wehave the word morning r nng. It's

(18:03):
a noun. It's defined as theexpression of deep sorrow for someone who has
died, typically involving or following certainconventions such as wearing black clothes, which
is completely different from morning. Morningthat is defined as the period of time
between midnight and noon, especially fromsunrise to noon, So pretty significant difference.

(18:26):
They're two completely different words. They'respelled two completely different ways, which
this chick would have completely known ifshe had even bothered to google it,
because if you google good morning,it's literally defined as an exclamation expressing good
wishes on meeting or parting during themorning, specifically during the morning mrnng.

(18:48):
It takes so little brain power torealize how stupid what she's saying is,
but she said it anyway. Didnot bother to do an ounce of research.
She's like, Oh, these wordssound the same. They must be
the same. This must mean thison the basis of absolutely nothing. She
cites no sources. She completely madethis up at the very best. If

(19:12):
you want to give her the benefitof the doubt, you have to just
say, Okay, she's probably stupid, and that's if you're giving her the
benefit of the doubt and being nice. If you're not willing to give her
the benefit of the doubt, whichI'm kind of hesitant to, then you
have to assume that she's just maliciouslylying. I mean, it really doesn't
take a whole lot of looking aroundin order to disprove this ridiculous theory.

(19:33):
A simple Google search of the twowords, reading their definitions side by side,
and then looking up the phrase goodmorning and seeing that it's spelled rning
will demonstrate that this is nonsense.I spent fifteen minutes on Google trying to
find literally anything that would possibly validatethe ridiculous stuff that this chick is saying,

(19:56):
and I got nothing. It islegit more work to think this ridiculous
theory than it is to just simplylook up, hey, is the phrase
good morning racist and see that it'sclearly freakin' not so. As much as
I hate to say it, itreally seems to me and I lied.
I don't hate to say it.I honestly think it's kind of funny that

(20:18):
someone would be this dumb and orthink that other people are dumb enough to
believe something like this. But justby watching the video, it really does
seem like she is being intentionally maliciousand lying about this. Either that or
she just got really high and hada quote unquote shower thought and thought this
was like super deep in groundbreaking, and in two hours she's gonna sober up

(20:41):
and realize, oh my god,I'm an idiot and I should not have
put this on the internet because nowit's there forever and everybody's gonna think I'm
dumb. All right, ladies andgentlemen. That is going to do it
for the show today. I amactually excited to see the GOP feud kind
of start narrowing down. This iswhere things really start to get interesting.
We are close in on election time. It is almost twenty twenty four.

(21:03):
