is here. Hello, and we have a special guest also
today we certainly do a return guest.
Speaker 3 (00:27):
Have we had a repeat guest yet? That's a good question.
I believe the answer is no.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
So this is probably our first guest, Erica Lynn Everest.
Speaker 3 (00:36):
Hello, I feel special. Well, that's because you do special things.
Speaker 4 (00:40):
Try.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
You're a good friend, and you're a great friend of
the local music community. You did your Women in Music
concert back earlier in the summer, yep, and now you're
ready for volume.
Speaker 3 (00:51):
Two, correct, Yeah, and let's talk for twenty.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
Eighth, right, a celebration of women called Women in Music.
Speaker 5 (00:58):
Right.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
We did a local Show feature with all of the
artists last time around, so we're doing it again with
a changed lineup this day.
Speaker 6 (01:04):
Yeah, yeah, and a great lineup again. And uh yeah,
I'm really excited about it.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
And it's a West Shore Theater on the twenty eighth.
You said, yeah, for eight it's great, perfect hours because.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
Then you can go get dinner and you know, go
to that early.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Perfect yes, get all concerts started at four o'clock.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
Yeah, afternoon, right, agreed.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
And I really like the venue too, right, you know
you talk about how perfect it is West Shore Theater
to see a concert.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
You can't get a bad seat in there.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
There's still tickets available, you know, a theater style seating.
And then they also have what are they called the
booths on the side, right, those things are awesome.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
There's still some booths left.
Speaker 6 (01:42):
The high top tables are sold out, but there's there's
some booths left.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
Those are great.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
They fit like four to six people on the side,
so you can kind of just have your own little
party and feel like you're in the VIP section there
in the booth. So those things go quick. So if
you're thinking about it, get on and reserve a booth asap.
So we're going to start with one of the art
artist that's in the lineup. The that's what we're gonna do.
We're gonna reveal the lineup as we go. I mean,

of his heartbeat when I was pregnant with him, and

Speaker 6 (20:36):
Yes, she's a great songwriter and singer in a very
like folk style. And didn't she win Songwriter of the Year.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
To be honest, I think she is one of the
most decorated because she has won for herself as a
solo artist. I think she won songwriter and she's one
with her band which used to be called Indian Summer
Jars and then change their name to Big Sky Quartet.
So she's won multiple cpmas over the past six years.
Speaker 3 (21:04):
She is very talented.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
So yeah, you're gonna hear why right now because we're
gonna play one of her songs. But then also see
why go see her perform live.
Speaker 6 (21:13):
Y she's doing an acoustic set. We are going to
have a band this this year, we are going to
have a band again. House band is going to be

This is Sarah Fiore walk Me Home. I love the
guitar on this song. It's the local show on the
River ninety seven to three.

the lineup of the Women in Music Volume two at
west Or Theater on the twenty eighth, just a couple
of weeks away, two weeks from tonight.
Speaker 3 (25:16):
As a matter of yeat, yes, and we revealed.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
The line up here with those four women artists are
gonna play and obviously you're gonna be on there as
well as part of this, because this is Erica Lynn
Evers presents Women in Music right, tell us about how
this is gonna work though, Is there gonna be each
one have a set?
Speaker 3 (25:30):

singing a powerful song.

do their own little sets. Okay, nice, and then we'll

Speaker 6 (26:01):
Uh, well, we're gonna we're gonna do We're gonna do
some some songs together.

end or something I did think of that. I'm like, God,
that's that's not the vibe.
Speaker 2 (26:13):
Yeah, there's a lot of singer songwriters here, a lot
of acoustic guitar kind of stuff.
Speaker 3 (26:16):
That's gonna be something cool. But don't don't don't think
it's just gonna be a coffee house vibe. Right. We
have a full band in the background, so it's gonna
be rocking.
Speaker 6 (26:23):
Oh yeah, and I'll be doing some blues and yeah,
Battie and it's gonna be two acoustic sets and then
everyone else will be with the band, so it'd be
a good.
Speaker 3 (26:31):
Like variety show. And Jen Shade is the host. Shade
and you're MC.
Speaker 2 (26:35):
You should get Jen to sing something at the end,
at least something, at least if there's an all star jam,
get her up.
Speaker 3 (26:41):
There is on the rock. Is that in the works?

Uh?
Speaker 3 (32:22):
Maybe?
Speaker 15 (32:23):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (32:23):
Okay, you have to look out. You gotta find out.
So much teasing going on here. I hope, I hope
you know what's going on, right, I do know what's
going on.
Speaker 5 (32:30):
Ok.
Speaker 3 (32:33):
We're going to make it up on the Yeah. Yeah,
we're not going to rehears and we're just.
Speaker 2 (32:37):
Gonna like just wing it sometimes sometimes that is the
best way art comes out too that I am a
I'm pro winging it.
Speaker 3 (32:45):
The main band that I'm in, we never have a setlist.
We just wing it on stage. That's what I normally do.
I feel kind of feel the audience out, feel each
other out. What are you gonna do? What do you
feel like playing? I haven't read. Yeah, when it's when
I play with Kenny, who will be on the show.
There's never that was like it.
Speaker 2 (33:00):
It's all feel ye excellent, Well, speaking of feel right,
that's a horrible segue.
Speaker 3 (33:07):
Yeah it is, but we're gonna leave it in there
you go. I like it. We're gonna do. I got
a feeling. No, there's no segue with.
Speaker 5 (33:17):
No.
Speaker 2 (33:17):
We talk about a little bit in the teas here
as far as you know women in music and uh,
this area in Central Pennsylvania, and especially with the local
show's affiliator affiliation with the Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame,
right uh is who is the biggest artist in the
world right now, you know, aside from America whenever, Yeah,
of course, uh, and and especially from this area, it's
(33:38):
none other than Taylor Swift. Obviously she just recently announced
her engagement to If you haven't been under a rock.
Speaker 3 (33:47):
Just kidding Erica looked at me like I thought you
were with the times? Yeah, aren't you responsible for like
you know, let me tell you what happened.
Speaker 2 (33:54):
We were we were on our trip out west real fast,
and that news broke And when I landed is when
the news were so I didn't see for like four
or five hours, and I knew what happened, but I
posted on Facebook. I was just like, did something happen
with Taylor Swiz? And the comments were just like, for
You're an idiot. Most people got it that I was
messing with them. But anyway, I got to know you're Brandon,
(34:16):
You hadn't mean interrupt No, all good?
Speaker 3 (34:18):
You know.
Speaker 2 (34:18):
The continual thought too, is you know, we're going to
induct her in the Hall of Fame at some point
here in the near future, and to do to get
her attention right, we're going to do a recording of
one of her songs with eighteen and older, all female vocalists.
We've actually already recorded it so that it will be
released in the coming months here, and it is a
(34:39):
cover of Taylor Swift's you Belong with Me. And the
idea here is is like Taylor Swift belongs with us
back home right in central Pennsylvania to acknowledge her future
Hall of Fame induction here, So we're going to have
that as a music video and a track to be
released at a later date. But with all that said,
making that announcement, and who else better to feature as
(35:02):
a Hall of Fame ballot candidate, I guess yeah, with
Taylor Swift on the Women in Music show Taylor Swift.
Speaker 3 (35:10):
Here she is with her version Taylor's version of your
Belong song That's right everyone song.
Speaker 2 (35:15):
When she now bought the rights back right, but nonetheless
here it is Taylor Swift you belong with me?
Speaker 3 (35:20):
On the local show The River ninety seven to three.
Speaker 12 (35:23):
You're on the phone with your girlfriend. She's upset.
Speaker 10 (35:27):
She's going off about something that she said. She doesn't
get your humor like I do.
Speaker 9 (35:38):
I'm in my room. It's a typical Tuesday night.
Speaker 12 (35:42):
Am listening to the kind of music she doesn't like.
Speaker 9 (35:46):
And she'll never know your story like I do.
Speaker 10 (35:52):
Because she wears shorts skirts, I wear tea shirts.
Speaker 9 (35:56):
She's cheer captain and.
Speaker 10 (36:00):

Speaker 3 (36:41):

Speaker 25 (36:42):
Smile that can light up this whole town. I haven't
seen it in a while, since she brought you down.
You say, Brown, I know you better than die here.
Speaker 9 (36:52):
What you doing with the girl like that?
Speaker 10 (36:55):
She wears high heels, I wear snee girstees ye captain,
and the blade shows the dreaming about the day when
you wake.
Speaker 9 (37:05):
Up and fire and puts sure loo get more. Has

Speaker 15 (37:10):

been along? So hot here to see goom along in
stand by way, that's your back door all the time.
Speaker 9 (37:30):

Speaker 2 (37:36):

Speaker 23 (37:54):

and die of the one.
Speaker 9 (37:58):

Speaker 10 (38:02):

your dreams, think of know where you belongs.
Speaker 9 (38:07):
To come know it's where the means.
Speaker 10 (38:11):

Speaker 3 (38:56):
A local show on the river ninety seven three? Who
was that again? Brandon?
Speaker 2 (39:00):
I believe she goes by Taylor or taor maybe Tellor.
That's Taylor Swift. You belong with me and hopefully, uh,
we'll get her here into Central PA when she's finally
eventually adducted into the Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame.
And I have to say, Erica, and I called you
out as soon as we started the song because because
you said that it was only kids eighteen and over, yes,
(39:24):
which doesn't make it who's saying it, and that's considered adulthood. No,
it's eighteen and under right now, all Central Pennsylvania youth.
Speaker 3 (39:34):
That's right. You all star band is uh, which rotates.
Speaker 2 (39:37):
So we did the recording of bab O'Reilly, We did
a Christmas song, do they Know It's Christmas? The band
Aid version, and then we recently released Tom Sawyer by
Brush as well. And now this is the latest project here,
Taylor Swifts, You Belong with Me. All female vocalists on that.
Adie's on it yep. Addie Grace, who we featured first
at the top of the show is on it. Uh,
(39:57):
And all of the female singers are ages thirteen to eighteen,
So again thanks for the correction eighteen and under.
