Speaker 1 (00:00):
President Trump's truth Social has a new AI tool that
doesn't seem to favor.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Him all that much.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
The Bulwark tested it out and here are some of
the results. So they asked truth Social AI, do Trump's
tariffs cost the American people money? The response yes, tariffs
are taxes on imports that the US importers pay and
largely pass on through higher prices, so the costs are
born mainly by American businesses and consumers.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
They asked it did Donald.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Trump lie about the twenty twenty election being rigged and stolen?
And truth AI said yes. Courts, Trump owned advisors and
official investigations found no evidence that the twenty twenty election
was rigged or stolen. And then they also asked it
did people storm the US capital on January sixth, twenty
twenty because of Donald Trump? And truth Social search AI

(00:50):
said yes. Multiple official records attribute the January sixth capital
breach to a pro Trump crowd mobilized by the president.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Truth Social not favorable to the President.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
I would say that AI tool is probably going to
get some tweaks, so I can't wait for Trump to
start attacking the AI tool, going back and forth with
it on truth Social.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
We're learning a little bit more about the death of
eighteen year old Anna Kempner. She died on a Carnival
cruise ship that docked at Port Miami on Saturday. But
today's show is reporting that while the medical Examiner didn't
release a cause of death, they did report an exact
time of death eleven seventeen am on Friday, and a
former Miami PD she said they were very specific about

(01:33):
the time of death, which seems a little peculiar. You're
normally with a case like this, they would put like
a reference point, like a general idea of the time
of death, but they seem to know the exact time,
which is interesting. There were also witnesses who made it
seem like she was found dead in her room, but
we haven't heard anything about that. And then her last
social media posts, which were made on October thirtieth, seemed

(01:55):
to suggest that she had gone through a messy breakup
and was dealing with the pain of that said something
like you deserve to be happy, but if it ain't
with me, then never mind, and some other long captions
about being mistreated by a guy. So we still don't
know who she was on the cruise with. We don't
know what happened or anything like that, but we are
getting a little bit more detail about her and what

(02:16):
her frame of mind might have been like, and then
also that time of death.

Speaker 4 (02:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
You hope this doesn't end up being a suicide, but
it feels like it's kind of trending in that direction.
Does And what stands out to me, you know, being
on a cruise, being at Disney World. We've had a
number of suicides lately, and again we don't know if
this is one, but if it is, you know, these
are places where you would generally expect to be enjoying life.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Yeah, you go to have a good time and tell
your friend's family.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Yeah, and people taking their own lives.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Yeah. A protester at the Turning Point USA event at
the University of California, Berkeley was arrested on Monday after
he allegedly stole a Chane necklace right from an attendee's neck.
He just yank it off of him and then they
got into a fight when the victim tried to get
it back. And when police arrested the man and checked
his ID, they discovered his name is Jieht that's his

(03:11):
first name. I'm not even going to try to pronounce
his last name. It's just a mouthful. He was part
of the Antifa protest at the event, and there are
pictures of a man in a red freedom shirt with
blood all over his face also being led away by police,
but he wasn't charged because he was the one whose
necklace was stolen, and once police sorted it all out,
they didn't arrest him. Pictures and videos on x showed

(03:32):
the chaos as protest to stormed the event. Four female
students were also arrested earlier in the day as part
of that protest, and they were charged with felony vandalism
before the event and then AUSA rep later said, despite
Antifa thugs blocking our campus tour stop with tear gas,
fireworks and glass bottles, we had a packed house in

(03:53):
the heart of deep blue UC Berkeley.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
I mean, you obviously hate to see it. It shouldn't happen,
But trouble at a turning point USA rally at Berkeley
is as predictable as traffic on I four.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Oh yeah, absolutely it is. And a guy co geehah.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Right right in the middle of it.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Yeah configure.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Former President Barack Obama surprised veterans on an honor flight
when he popped onto the plane to say hello. The
World War two, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans were
traveling from Wisconsin to DC for a tour of the
national monuments honoring their service, and after everybody was seated,
Obama got on the plane.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
Hello, everybody. What As we approached veterans, they I wanted
to stop buy and just say thank you for extraordinary
service to you, your family, the sacrifices that all of
you made to protect our country as something that will
always be honored. Good and we are very grateful. And
we also happened to welcome you with a seventy degree

(04:52):
day in DC, which doesn't always happen around here.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
So it was crazy to see the looks of those spaces,
like just the the total total shock.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
And then here's what one veteran said, here's.

Speaker 5 (05:05):
A nice I just couldn't believe that there was that
many people around that remembered us and was there the
greet us, And it was just unbelievable.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
Yeah, it was a very emotional trip for these veterans.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
It was really cool.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
Regardless of your opinion of Barack Obama, something like that.
How can you not love it? You can see, like
you said, looks on the veterans' faces, their surprise, their
appreciation for him doing that a really cool moment. And
don't forget if you miss any of our interviews with
a number of different great veterans organizations, Wounded Warrior Project,
Hearsinese Foundation, CA and I Partners for Patriots, a whole

(05:44):
lot more. We've got those on the podcast for you
just for Ryan Gorman Show, on your iHeartRadio app or
wherever you listen to podcasts.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Michelle Obama ripped President Trump's new ballroom apart in a
couple of recent interviews. She told Vanity Fair when we
talked about the East Wing, it is the heart of
the work of a first lady, and to denigrate it,
to tear it down, to pretend like it doesn't matter,
it's a reflection of how you think of that role.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
And she also took a swipe.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
At Trump for demolishing the East Wing during an NBC appearance,
she said, as first lady, there's no guidebook, there's barely
a staff, and now we don't have a building. So
she made it seem like, you know, Trump doesn't care
about the role of the First Lady by him doing this.
Laura Ingram asked the President about Michelle Obama's comments, and
he said that the new ballroom will be one of

(06:35):
the greatest in the world, and that the old one
was a disaster. He said, they had an event with tables,
they could hold only seventy nine people. And if you
have a state event, there's no place to have it.
You know, you have to put up a tent, and
it was loaded the ground and if it rained, you
were sitting in six inches of water. So that was
his response to Michelle Obama trashing his new ballroom.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
I would love to hear from Michelle Obama's staff when
she was first Lady in here, how many times she
and others were complaining about the East Room. I mean,
it wasn't like it was a glamorous spot in the
White House. And I'm sure when it's all said and done,
it's gonna be a lot better than it was before.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
It's gonna look much nicer.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
And I'm also sure that he's creating a space for
the First Lady somewhere else in the White House right exactly.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
