Speaker 1 (00:01):
Good morning, Michael and Dragon. So with the appointment of
Elon and Vivek to the new Department of Government Efficiency,
it reminds me of that scene in Office Space where
the two bobs are interviewing the employees and they say, so,
(00:23):
can you tell me what it is that you exactly do?
Speaker 2 (00:27):
Here?
Speaker 3 (00:29):
Watching the left meltdown because Trump has appointed Pete heg
Seth the Secretary of Defense is just wonderful. All they
say on the left is, oh, my gosh, he was
a Fox and Friends cow host. No, he has two
bronze medals and served in combat, among many other qualifications.
(00:52):
They just see people as one dimensional, not multi dimensional.
Pretty amazing. You also know that Pete Hegseeth is a
great appointment for Secretary of Defense because people like Joy Read,
Jim Acosta, and Elizabeth Warren are going berserk about this appointment.
(01:14):
These are the same people who were cheering on Pete
Buddhagic who was appointed Secretary of Transportation by Biden because hey,
Pete likes trains, so that was his qualification.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
Good.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
Yeah, I felt like your thoughts on Elon Musky that
group swamming his Department of Government Efficiency. I was watching
and iggregate with from swamming, and he was talking about, Hey,
a lot of these laws that have come in to play,
we're not legislated, so they're no employed.
Speaker 4 (01:50):
What say you, cert Mike? Regarding UH civil service employees,
how easy is it or difficult to lay them off?
Say your department has a budget reduction and you had
to cut your staff from thirty to twenty five. How
difficult is it to lay off five of your staff?
Speaker 5 (02:07):
Michael. I think it's wonderful that Trump is beginning to
do something about this. And once he starts by appointing
these people, at least the process will be begun and
maybe the culprits will be shivering in their timbers and
whatever the phrase is, and things will take a long time,
(02:31):
but at least they're on the road to recovery.
Speaker 6 (02:34):
Hey, Michael, regarding reducing the size of government, wouldn't the
low hanging fruit be all of those NGOs and contractors
that work for the government. We wouldn't have to go
through all of those hoops in order to trim that down.
Just want your thoughts, thanks, Michael.
Speaker 4 (02:57):
I think I heard you say that the part of
government efficiency.
Speaker 7 (03:04):
Michael, I think with the help of Elon Musk and
Vivoc with all of their technology AI, they can scour
the whole Constitution, all the amendments, and figure out all
the loopholes they can use to get rid of all
this fat in the government.
Speaker 6 (03:23):
Michael, I object to it being called a revolution for
the same reason I object to January sixth being called insurrection.
Speaker 5 (03:30):
What we are witnessing is the restoration of our constitutional republic,
not a revolt against it.
