vestibule shot in the chest. The homeowners told officers a

bloody bat was found on the porch. The investigation is ongoing.

an armed suspect walked into the store and attempted to
rob it, but was confronted by an employee who also

Police Department for questioning.

San Bernardino County deputy happened to hear the gunfire.

The deputy was driving past and saw the female getting shot,
so he made a U turn and got out of
his vehicle in confront of the suspect, who started to
run away.

The deputy shot and killed the shooter. Both victims were
taken to the hospital where they also died. But on
a busy weekend night, neighbors realize this could have been worse,
especially on.

block of Lefard, where he was pronounced dead by medical personnel.

Two people fleeing from the Popo on a stolen motorcycle.

Police forces telling our Steve Keeley that two people fleeing
police during a chase were killed in a crash. This
was around nine tonight. Sky Fox Live over the scene
on Roosevelt Boulevard and Calmly Road. There you can see
a number of police vehicles in the middle of the road.
This is the eleven o'clock News. I'm Sheepa Russell. We're
told the two people were on a stolen small motorcycle

Sheiva just a horrific scene here on Comely Road and
Roosevelt Boulevard where the wreck of that crash leaving two
people remains here. This is a very active crime scene.
The accident investigation scene with the Philadelphia Police Department are
on scene right now. What we have learned is a

motorcycle with two people on board was riding on the
northbound lanes of the boulevard and struck a white van
while eluding police. Take a look at some of this video.
We have to be very careful with this video. It's
very graphic. The bodies are still on the scene here.

What we can tell you is two people were killed
while riding that stolen Dukati motorcycle at about nine point
fifteen after leaving a red light and eluding police officers.
Now what is left of that Dukati motorcycle you could
see it is just shattered. The two bodies that were

made on the scene or in the parking lot of
that Luke Oil gas station. Of course we're not showing
them to you, but they are still there. They flew
about forty yards into that parking lot, so we're not
sure of the speed.

We are not sure why they were eluding.

Police, but our sources are telling us that that stolen
motorcycle going northbound on Roosevelt Boulevard was struck by a
white van. Those two people, an adult male an adult female,
have been killed. The driver of that white van was
also taken to the hospital. We are not sure on
their condition, but just an absolute horrific scene here on

the boulevard. Police have not said exactly why they were
in pursuit of this motorcycle, how it all began, and
where it ended, but it ended here at the intersection
of the boulevard and Calmly Road, where action investigation team
is on scene. They will most likely be here for
the next several hours. The outer lanes of the northbound

lane of Roosevelt Boulevard still shut down as they investigate
this scene.

A seventy year a woman is dead after a police
shooting in West Baltimore. It began with two calls for
service for that woman believed to be experiencing a mental
health crisis here on Mosher Street.

I was just sitting os I heard the helicopter pull up.
I heard the helicopter first, and then I started having
a police office. I was nervous.
Speaker 15 (16:44):
I'm still nervous because I'm like, this is too close
to my home.

Commissioner Richard Worley says police were attempting to get the
woman to the hospital when she brandished a knife and
started lunging at officers. They told her to drop the weapon,
but we're unsuccessful. Later resorting to different methods to try
and diffuse the situation, and that's when things really took
a turn.

A taser was deployed in an attempt to subdue her.
The taser was ineffective, and the woman continued to lunge
towards the officers with the knife. Officers persisted to give
verbal commands in an attempt to de escalate the situation
and exit the house. When the officer fell fell to
the floor. When he fell, the woman lunged at the

officer on the floor with the knife. A second officer
behind fired two shots, striking the woman. She was transported
to an area hospital, where she was pronounced.

The officer who fell back has been taken to the
hospital for a possible back injury. There have been twenty
six calls for service to this location since the start
of the year. Orley called this an example of a
growing national crisis. His department, as well as the Attorney

Idaho State Police is investigating a fatal pursuit that happened
in Kasha County just after midnight, State Police assisted the
Casha County Sheriff's Department after reports of multiple shots fired.

A man shot by Grilly police near the University of
Northern Colorado campus has died from his injuries. Just after
eight this morning, a Grilly police officer tried to make
a traffic stop near the campus. Forty one year old
Theodore Ribus of Greeley had an active felony warrant for
motor vehicle theft and did not stop when police tried
to pull him over. Police later found Ribus walking near

the Garden Theater on campus, armed with a gun. Police
say Ribus then turned toward two officers, who fired their weapons.
Ribus was shot by officers and also sustained a self
inflicted gunshot wound. This investigation is ongoing, unc issuing a
statement saying, in part quote, the incident occurred in the
evening during summer break in an outdoor area of campus,

away from classrooms and residence halls, when campus activity is
significantly reduced. There was no impact to university operations.

with Denver Public School patrol officers about a man and
a woman at the school. After the man and woman
presented their IDs to police, the man took off running and,
according to the Chief of police, fired at officers, prompting

The man was fatally shot and the woman who was
with him ran off. So far, who the man is
remains a mystery to the public. Police tell us he
did have a warrant for parole violations. A shooting a
little too close to home, literally for neighbors.

And Denver Police tell us two of their officers, along
with a patrol officer with Denver Public Schools, fired shots
at the man. They are now on standard paid leave
pendiness investigation. In the meantime, this man has not been
identified and the woman who was with him last night,
she's still out there. Police do know who she is,

Man brings knife to a gunfight and we know how
that never works out.

Tarling Tanya, Highland Park man that I spoke with a
little bit earlier this morning tells me he heard three gunshots.
This comes as we learn new information from Highland Park
officials about what happened a little bit earlier this morning.
Now video from chapter seven gives you a better look
at the size and scope of the investigation earlier today
in Highland Park. Investigators say Highland Park Police took a

call just before five o'clock this morning, but a man
lying in the roadway who is nearly hit by a
car on the nine hundred block of half Day Road.
Please tell us the man got up in quote stumbled
into a home. Investigators say when officers responded to the home,
they knocked on the door and a man came out
of the home, allegedly with a knife. We're told officers
retreated and told the man multiple times to drop the knife,

but he allegedly charged at them anyway, threatening them with
that knife raised. That's when police said they shot the man.
Investigators say he died on seeing after first responders tried
to save him. Now back to life in Highland Park
right now. Halfday Road has since reopened after it was
closed for hours during the course of this investigation, as
the Lake County Major Crimes Task Force continues looking into

Shell gas station at Goodland in Winchester wanted to talk
about what happened here in the early hours of the
morning Monday, but the TBI is now investigating. After Memphis
police got called about an armed party here. When they arrived,
police sate the suspect went inside.
Speaker 31 (30:32):
When the officer followed the individual into the business, the
individual refused to surrender. When the officer followed the individual
into that gas station, he charged the man. He charged
the officer rather with a screwdriver in his hand, striking
the officer in his vest. At that time, the officer
fired his weapon, striking the man.
Speaker 30 (30:54):
Audio police radio traffic captured the moment. Yah Worg obtained
surveillance video showing a man standing outside the store for
quite a while Monday morning. Those who shared the video
say the man in the red colored shirt is the
one who was shot. On the video, you can see
(31:16):
police cars arrived with lights flashing. Officers get out and
go into the store. Moments later, that's followed by what
sounds like another round of gunfire. The man who was
shot later died at the hospital. Now the TBI is investigating.
So far this year, TBI has investigated two other officer
(31:37):
involved shootings in Memphis Shelby County, one by the Sheriff's
office and the other by Memphis Police, and twenty twenty four,
TBI investigated four officer involved shootings by MPD. The man
shot has not been identified, but some in the areas
say he had been hanging around stores for the last
few days and wouldn't leave. But they say they never

expect what happened Monday morning.

Another individual was actually injured inside the business prior to
the officer's arrival.

He's back here at home here. This morning, a suspect
is dead after being shot by police. It all started
after two this morning when police responded to a shooting
on Manchester off Sarah Street near the Grove. They found
a man shot. That person was taken to a hospital
and is reportedly stabilized in terms of their condition. Shortly
after that, officers put out a description of a suspect
(33:04):
on a moped. A secondary officer spotted that suspect near
Manchester and Sarah and tried to pull him over, but
the suspect took off. According to police, the chase ended
in a vacant lot on Clayton and Van Derventer. Police
say the man got off the moped, refused orders and
allegedly reached into a bag. That is when detectives fired,
killing him. No officers were hurt in this. Police say
(33:26):
the Force Investigation Unit is handling the case from here.
