Yes, if you ever have a chance to go to
Red Rocks and see a concert, do it. Okay, Ever,
since I saw like one of the pantea, you remember
back in the nineties, like bands would released like a
tape and it would just have like a bunch of
wacky stuff on it, and it would like and it
would have like a music video or two in between,
like all the wacky stuff. They had a clip of

Pantera and Simpletera on stage together playing at Red Rocks,
and that was the first time I'd ever seen what
Red Rocks was, and I was just like, what is
this venue? Just you know, just a natural rock formation
that they built a stage into and it has these
wonderful acoustics because of the way the sound bounces off
these giant like monolithic red rocks that come out of

side of the rocky mountains.

or shared uh yeah, shared content.

with the new movie coming out, it's a little bit
more available.

Well, even something like Tails from the Crypt that's not
available anywhere because they can't figure out the rights to it.
So if you exactly d's, which a lot of people
did back in the day, then you're good. But if
you ever want to see Tails from the Crypt again,
you can't, well basically unless you can find a copy
of it.

Like I don't understand how like HBO didn't have like

been rumored and was confirmed this week.

Well we've both of these were actually rumored for a while.

The first one is well, no, they tease they teased
this one since last year. Okay, they had teased a
five Nights at Freddy's House or five nights at Freddy's something.
They started teasing this like early in the year because
it's a Blumhouse franchise. It's a very popular franchise, right,

That's gonna be a cool house.

I mean, think about the layout of five nights, five
nights at Freddy's. I think that makes for a really
good house.

And here's the thing. The Journey will bring guests face
to face with full scale replicas of the eerie characters
uh from the film as they stalk visitors through iconic scenes,
including the security room in the show room where the
chilling characters performed. The larger than live characters for the
Haunted House were created in collaboration with Jim Henson's Creature Shop.

Haunted House is coming.

Universal Studios lagoon featuring towering water screens and eerie music.

the projections on the buildings behind it and you know,
in the water and stuff, really immersive.

Make no mistake, Halloween Horonites is the most like incredibly
produced Halloween event on the planet. There is no doubting that.
So anything they're going to put on is going to
be great. I mean, that's just what it is. It's
home run after home run. For that event, they can't
go wrong.

And the thing now that we have to wait for
is what the menu of food is going to be.

I'm willing to bet there'll be pizza fryes, there.

That the Jaw stuff is still up, Not much of

was not able to get the Quentin beer from Jay Alcatraz.

It's unfortunate, but.

A bunch of decorations up, so that was still pretty cool.
And then I bounced over to Islands of Adventure. Uh,
walked around a little bit, and then I'm like, you
know what, I think it's time when over to Cinnabon.
Got a moch alotta chill, which is like a chocolate
coffee drink with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Very delicious.
It right now. And then I got a cinnabun and

I'm like, you know what, I haven't eaten real food today.
I'm going to go back to this hot dog stand.

Speaking of Universal Though this got teased a few weeks ago,
got pushed back, but on August twentieth, Inside the Worlds
of Epic Universe on NBC and then later on Peacock.

Okay, so they're gonna, they're gonna, they're gonna push it
out there.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Well it's late, it's it's a it's a one hour
special celebrating the new theme park, hosted by Joe Mangianello.

Okay, that's cool, that's awesome. What happened to their buses
the other week? Those who were electric ones? Yes, those
batteries they go, man, forget it.

Yeah, it's it's it's required special work for like firefighters
to deal with those.

liium battery packs.

After having been to Denver.

And knowing how expensive food is in Colorado, it's actually
not a bad deal for Colorado prices.

They charge more there for food because everybody's hungry because

Now it's it's just a leftover COVID inflation, all right.

Fair enough. Otherwise, the Denver trip was good.

Yes, if you ever have a chance to go to
Red Rocks and see a concert, do it. Okay, Ever,
since I saw like one of the pantea, you remember
back in the nineties, like bands would released like a
tape and it would just have like a bunch of
wacky stuff on it, and it would like and it
would have like a music video or two in between,
like all the wacky stuff. They had a clip of

Pantera and Simpletera on stage together playing at Red Rocks,
and that was the first time I'd ever seen what
Red Rocks was, and I was just like, what is
this venue? Just you know, just a natural rock formation
that they built a stage into and it has these
wonderful acoustics because of the way the sound bounces off
these giant like monolithic red rocks that come out of

side of the rocky mountains.

What are the nineties? And what's the tape?

I knew he was gonna say that, Okay, it's that
cassette tape. It's a VHS tape. It's a physical media
that the kids are back into.

Oh, I've seen Beta players is it that?

Beta was the better of the two formatch which was
Beta and VHS, and Sony owned Beta and I forgot
who owned VHS and Sony wanted a license from people
to make their Beta recorders, whereas the VHS people were like, here,
just take it.

It was the verse old version of freeware, right basically
or shared uh yeah, shared content.

Beta was far superior to VHS, we all got VHS
because it was cheaper to manufacture.

Sony was greedy, Sony, Sony played the game wrong. Yep,
and they almost did it.

They almost did it again with Blu ray because that
was the one that they were back in versus.

HD DVD, and uh.

They ended up coming out on top on that one
because they were a little bit more willy nilly.

just like these movies that never caught on that you're
just so hard to get, Like twenty eight days Later
for the longest time, only existed on DVD. Yeah, now
with the new movie coming out, it's a little bit
more available.

Well, even something like Tails from the Crypt that's not
available anywhere because they can't figure out the rights to it.
So if you exactly d's, which a lot of people
did back in the day, then you're good. But if
you ever want to see Tails from the Crypt again,
you can't, well basically unless you can find a copy
of it.

Like I don't understand how like HBO didn't have like

been rumored and was confirmed this week.

Well we've both of these were actually rumored for a while.

The first one is well, no, they tease they teased
this one since last year. Okay, they had teased a
five Nights at Freddy's House or five nights at Freddy's something.
They started teasing this like early in the year because
it's a Blumhouse franchise. It's a very popular franchise, right,

but it finally got announced, and.

That's gonna be a cool house.

I mean, think about the layout of five nights, five
nights at Freddy's. I think that makes for a really
good house.

And here's the thing. The Journey will bring guests face
to face with full scale replicas of the eerie characters
uh from the film as they stalk visitors through iconic scenes,
including the security room in the show room where the
chilling characters performed. The larger than live characters for the
Haunted House were created in collaboration with Jim Henson's Creature Shop.

There's a whole bunch of drama, and then you know,
Jenna Ortega's like, I'm the star and I'm out.

they had really good directors in They should have just
continued that series or just don't. Like, we've gotten seven,

But the other that they announced is WWE's Wyatt six
Haunted House is coming.

They've been doing a lot of lagoon shows. A ghost
story is rising from its watery grave to haunt the
Universal Studios lagoon featuring towering water screens and eerie music.

Okay, good, last time we saw it. Yeah, with all
the projections on the buildings behind it and you know,
in the water and stuff, really immersive.

Make no mistake, Halloween Horonites is the most like incredibly
produced Halloween event on the planet. There is no doubting that.
So anything they're going to put on is going to
be great. I mean, that's just what it is. It's
home run after home run. For that event, they can't
go wrong.

And the thing now that we have to wait for
is what the menu of food is going to be.

I'm willing to bet there'll be pizza fryes, there.

work there, but yes, yeah, So I was like, I
want to go check out see what the Jaws stuff is.
That the Jaw stuff is still up, Not much of
it is still up except for the decoration. So I
was not able to get the Quentin beer from Jay Alcatraz.

It's unfortunate, but.

A bunch of decorations up, so that was still pretty cool.
And then I bounced over to Islands of Adventure. Uh,
walked around a little bit, and then I'm like, you
know what, I think it's time when over to Cinnabon.
Got a moch alotta chill, which is like a chocolate
coffee drink with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Very delicious.
It right now. And then I got a cinnabun and

I'm like, you know what, I haven't eaten real food today.
I'm going to go back to this hot dog stand.

Speaking of Universal Though this got teased a few weeks ago,
got pushed back, but on August twentieth, Inside the Worlds
of Epic Universe on NBC and then later on Peacock.

Okay, so they're gonna, they're gonna, they're gonna push it
out there.

Well it's late, it's it's a it's a one hour
special celebrating the new theme park, hosted by Joe Mangianello.

Okay, that's cool, that's awesome. What happened to their buses
the other week? Those who were electric ones? Yes, those
batteries they go, man, forget it.

Yeah, it's it's it's required special work for like firefighters
to deal with those.

made to be collided with, Like batteries aren't like made

Yeah, well, because there was massive scarring on people's lower
abdominal areas.

You think there's money of these batteries that we use
now in cars and phones, they'd get this.

So so the cool thing about this documentary is that
it's being features John m chu who's the director of
Wicked in the upcoming Wicked for Good mm hmm, which
is kind of interesting because that park doesn't have anything
Wicked related.
Speaker 4 (20:59):
We got a Wick get area coming again. This is
the Wicked situation.
Speaker 2 (21:03):
I mean, why massively popular two movies a Broadway show.
If you look at the park, there's nothing that's really
like female forward.
Speaker 3 (21:15):
Oh yeah, that's true. There's a lot of dude stuff.
Speaker 2 (21:18):
There, and I mean, you know, like universal monsters that
fit like everything fits into like the ven diagram. And
I'm not saying this is like a pandering thing. But
it's like, why wouldn't why wouldn't you do something for
a massive franchise that you wholly own.
Speaker 4 (21:34):
And it is you know, it is still a Wizard
of Oz. So it's got that legacy too, correct, right?
Speaker 3 (21:39):
Yeah?

So, and there are aerial pictures of staging for something
happening in that park.

Mm hmm.

Okay, So Wicked is coming at some point.
Speaker 2 (21:51):
Some somewhere. It will most likely be coming. Two things
that I want to rattle off very quickly. The treat
locations for are Not So Scarier out because that is
quickly upcoming.

That's sold out right away. It's immediately sold.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
Out, as well as the food guide uh for Not
So Scary is also out. Yes.
Speaker 5 (22:13):
Also with Walt Disney World ESPN, the OCHO, starting on
August first, is going to start playing leak these really
odd ball games that are being.
Speaker 3 (22:23):
Played out at Walt Disney World.
Speaker 5 (22:24):
Uh wid, we're sports complex that will include dodgeball, pillow fighting,
slippery stairs.
Speaker 2 (22:32):
Yes, we should do so, we should we should do
slippery stairs.
Speaker 4 (22:36):
Can we play these sports? I mean, these are not
sports for athletes. I've seen some of these weird sports
on the ESPN channels when people are like playing, you know,
toss the bag in the hold the cornhole and such.
Speaker 5 (22:46):
This is going to be like Shark Week with like
Goofy Sports August first on the OHO.
Speaker 3 (22:52):
I want to get in on that.
Speaker 2 (22:53):
That's its we we should we should do Slippery Stairs.
I think we would be really good at it.

really want to hit Dickerman in his face.
