WBZ's Jordan Rich says a Phoenix Arizona teacher gets a lift from his students.

Welcome to the Upside with Jordan Adose of good news because it's a big
world out there. And Arcadia HighSchool teacher in Phoenix, Arizona, named
Clayton Guy, is beloved by hisstudents, but last spring, those students
noticed a change in his demeanor.Something was off. Their kind jovial teacher
was obviously under stress. The reasonhis wife Angel developed heart disease and needed

open heart surgery. Her need wascritical and she had the surgery back in
March. But the students found outthat even with insurance, their teacher's medical
bills were through the roof and itwas weighing heavily on his mind. So
one of the students, Parker Bond, got together with some buddies and decided
to do something about it. Theylaunched a fundraiser to help pay some of
the medical bills and just this weekreached their goal of ten thousand dollars.

It was a super way to saythank you to a compassionate, caring,
accepting teacher and his wife who neverasked for help, but with tears of
