Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning. Huh, kiss
on seven one.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Listen.
Speaker 3 (00:06):
If you want to put your Christmas decorations up literally
the day after Halloween.
Speaker 1 (00:11):
Go for it.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
Fine, But I'm not gonna lie and say that I'm
not looking at you funny for it, because why.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
Thank you for the talk back with Tiff. When you
search kiss on iHeartRadio, It's an alternative way to get
involved with the show. I would actually love to hear
your voice, though, because it's been a couple of days.
Five win, three seven four nine one oh seven one.
When are you decorating for the holidays? This feels like
such a cheesy, kind of like radio type of conversation.
(00:45):
But but, but but I always like to try to
bring you guys along into our office. What is it
like to work at iHeartMedia? Work at iHeart Cincy. Let
me tell you. I try to bring you into the
office every time we have conversations and such. So if
you're a visual person, this video is best serve if
(01:07):
you look at it at the Tiff to f s
Potter like the Wizard on whatever platform. I haven't quite
gotten it to TikTok yet, but the other two go ahead,
and search. I was in the the WLW studio, which,
by the way, if you didn't know, the seven hundred
WLW is our sister station. Every morning, I go in
to chop it up with my guy, Mike McConnell, and
(01:27):
I said, you know, what are your thoughts on decorations.
He's like, oh, I'm gonna wait until after Thanksgiving. And
I said, wait a minute, Wait a minute, let me
pull in Sarah. Now, Sarah, you guys know because she
comes on my show quite a bit. She's also on
the Kid Chris Morning Show from WEBN. Listen to the
shock in awe of this video.
Speaker 1 (01:44):
Anny on decorations. And it's a lot of work, and
also I've weird scheduling with working UC games, so I
just did what works for me, and I gotta enjoy
it the long stide, and I leave it up till
the end of January, so it's like a full three
month in Baltimore.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Cam Mike McConnell, like I said, if you're a visual person,
the man's face went like eyes wide, mouth open, saying,
you already put your decorations up. And I've gotten mixed reviews,
like whatever brings you joy? You know, we need a
little bit of a break from the election, et cetera.
All are good, but the difference between the men in
(02:24):
my office and the women was very, very very stark.
Mike goes, well, if you put them up now, doesn't
that mean you're gonna have to dust them like they're
gonna be so long, they're gonna collect dust. Another reason
is Thanksgiving is super late this year, so if you
wait until after Thanksgiving, then you're only gonna have them
(02:45):
up for a couple of weeks, which, like, isn't that bad?
That's not bad. But I'm curious, where do you stand?
Where do you stand if you're if you have a
live Christmas tree? Do you guys still get live? I
buy live, I go live, I go I go fresh
and real. I can buy a fresh tree right now.
The thing we'll catch on fire like the playground underneath
the bridge. Hi, good morning. You're waking up with Tiff
(03:07):
in the morning on Kiss one oh seven one. Let
me usher you into this conversation. If you're just joining us,
we're in the midst of talking about whether it's too
early or not for Christmas decorations. This whole conversation started
because it was an offline thing that some of my
officemates and I were chit chatting about some of the
other radio station hosts, etc. If you're a visual person,
(03:30):
when you want to see two sides of the argument
here at the tiff to F's Potter like the Wizard,
and just as I suspected with my own office, your
comments have been very mixed as well.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
What is too early to start decorating for Christmas? You ask? Now?
Speaker 3 (03:47):
Now is too early?
Speaker 2 (03:50):
I understand fully that it's a personal decision. I was
mostly curious because Thanksgiving is so long late this year,
you don't really get a lot of time with your decorations.
If you put them up after the Thanksgiving Day holiday,
do you need that much time with them?
Speaker 3 (04:11):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
I think it's personal.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
It's for me.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
I get a live Christmas tree, so I don't quite
know when the best time to get that would be.
Because if I were to get it this weekend and
I wanted to put up some twinkly lights this weekend,
I think the thing would be dead by the time
Christmas rolled around and it might burn down the house.
My boyfriend would absolutely kill me if I put up
the Christmas tree this weekend. He wants it up like
(04:37):
the day before Christmas and the day after Christmas. It
needs to come down. He had a very troubled childhood
and says are very good memories. So I'm toeing the
line of after Thanksgiving it'll go up. Not this early,
but it will go up. Okay, that's a tough one.
Get that there. You know, that's a good angle for it.
I appreciate the talk back with Tiff Gallan. When you
(04:58):
search kiss on iHeartRadio, that's an alternative way to get
involved in our content and conversation. You'll see the microphone
next to the play butt. Sometimes I feel like a
broken record because I mentioned that.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
About a billion times.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
A show coming up two songs from now. Speaking of relationships,
this is a good This actually falls perfectly into this.
I got a message about being a minimalist. If someone
in your house is a minimalist and someone in your
house is not, Christmas decorations are a good example of that,
how do you navigate it. We're going to share that next.
(05:30):
Don't go far
